"All armies stopped."

To Grad-Clyde's order, the leading group stopped, and the succeeding troops also stopped.

September 7th.

Setuna, along with an army of two thousand men, was heading north toward Nagrasia, a city in southern Zalwarn. The sky is cloudy. It was starting to rain, and from time to time, thunderbolts broke out.

Beginning tomorrow morning we even went down the street and by the end of the evening we had reached near the border. If you cross the border, it is Zalwarne territory. Clear boundaries can only be seen on the map, but near the border are the defence forces of both countries.

The defense force base on Gandia's side is already passing through. Upon passing, the soldiers of the defense forces prayed for the good luck of Setuna and the others. Most of them were Logners, but they're people from the same country.

"Beyond the border. If I slap the defense force, I'll run all the way to Nagrasia shortly after I rest. Rest now."

He has been mindful of the Setunas, but the command of this army group rests with the First Corps Commander, Grad-Clyde. There is no denying Setuna, and more importantly, his job is only to defeat the enemy. You just have to leave it to others to think about tactics and maneuvers. It's a simple thought, but that's why I can say I can wield my powers.

The army, which stopped far in front of the border, hid itself in the woods near the border. It was ideal for rainstorms, as well as in the name of escaping the sight of the Border Guard.

"Finally a break."

Luufa breathed as she stopped connecting her horse to an affordable tree. I've been running all morning without a break. You'll want to do one or two of the sighs. All I had to do was eat a portable meal on the horse for lunch too. I didn't even have time to take a slow break because of this operation.

Hit Nagrasia electronically and turn it into a bridge headrest for the Zalwarn offensive.

Two thousand and three troops were mobilized for that purpose. It is a thousand for the Gandia Army Logner side of the Army First Regiment, a thousand for the Fourth Regiment, and three for the Royal Gandia SS Lion's Tail. I guess the Logner soldiers had something to think about working with Logner's defeating-black spear, but there was nothing to eat and hang on to. I only feel hostility and hatred once in a while. For many military personnel, I guess war is like that.

First Corps Commander Grad-Clyde was one of the carers. Always caring about the Setunas is unimaginably polite and kind from the face of the samurai.

Dorka-Form, the head of the Fourth Corps, went back to his unit after repeatedly saying that he had been nagged all along and that he would be silenced if he spoke to Faria. On the other hand, I think it's something with all sorts of human beings. Sometimes things were strange about Faria being ruthless against a soft man.

That's about noon, and it doesn't matter now.

"Were you tired of riding a horse the whole time?

"No problem."

In answer to Faria's question, Setuna stroked her horse's back. I've been running all the way here. If I were tired, I'd be more of a horse. I wish I could get fatigue from this break.

"Good for you, then."

While Faria was relieved, she also saw a lightly dressed soldier running through the woods.

"Lord Kamiya, the Legion Leader says we need to talk!

"Okay, I'll be right there"

When Setuna answered, the soldier salutely ran off to another place. I guess there's someone else I have to go and get.

I don't have time to breathe, but I can't take a break. Setuna turned her gaze back on Faria when she slapped the horse with a pound. Ruufa also stands next door.

"Just the captain, is it?

"I guess you'd be grateful to follow me"

Setsuna grinned bitterly at her self-derision. I can't talk hard about it.

In a tent set up in the woods, Grad-Clyde was waiting. Although it is branded a temporary headquarters, one is about a table and a chair. I guess I carry them all by carriage. And the fragrant smell of drifting through the woods from nowhere, because we started preparing dinner there. My stomach rang because lunch was a simple portable meal. Faria laughed at me, but her stomach rang, too, so it was a draw.

"I've been waiting for you"

Entering the tent, Grad stood up and welcomed the Setunas. Setuna was so distressed by his care. He is the Legion Commander and Commander of this mixed unit. I don't need to be so concerned about the Setunas, but given the position of the Logners, maybe that's the kind of political consideration they have.

"Sorry to keep you waiting"

"No, the whole army is on break, so don't worry about it"

As urged by Grad, Setuna lowered her hips to his opposite seat. Faria sat to the right of Setuna and Ruufa to the left chair. And there's another one coming into the tent. No, I wasn't alone.

"No, I kept you waiting. Was Faria with you? What do you say, next to me?"

"Fine."

"Still hard."

It was the Fourth Legion Commander, Dorka-Form, who spoke to Faria to flow if she came in. It's as sturdy as the blonde blue-eyed painting, and I'm letting a beautiful woman samurai next door, but that doesn't seem to be enough. The nagging attitude only seems light-hearted, but he was elected head of the legion by Astal-Lanadies, so he must have strength. And Grad doesn't care about his attitude either. Is it because you know what Dorca is capable of, or because of his loyalty to Astar?

Dorca sat with one seat open to Grad's left. His subordinate-like beauty stood behind the Dorca, not in her seat. The eyes of a beautiful woman who can even imagine fleshy limbs from above her military uniform are just chilling.

"Now, what kind of evil stories are we going to have with all the geese necks?"

"It's not a bad story, but I'd like to explain my future policy"

"Uh. Mostly. I know, but, well, no. You can also see Faria's face."

Dorka sends a smile, but Faria's face was frozen like a mask. I don't like these types of people from the bottom of my mind, just watching them react conveys it. But Dorka would not punish, he would fly winks, send throwing kisses, and even inflict deep wounds on Setuna's spirit.

Dorka's men also didn't move one eyebrow about whether they were used to seeing him like that.

Grad coughed gently to move on. but Dorka doesn't even correct her residence.

"Our power is about two thousand. You know this, don't you?

"Two thousand and three, to be exact."

"The Lion's Tail is a handful of elites."

When Faria told him cold, Dorka snorted. Maybe I was glad you reacted. When Setuna looked to the side of Faria, she had sought salvation with her eyes alone, but nothing could be done in this situation. When a person with that kind of preference has power, it is well understood that the person below struggles.

"of which my First Regiment is a thousand"

"Our fourth legion is a thousand, too. So, three of you. I know numbers don't matter. Especially the power of the black spear, I know."

Dorka's eyes looking at Setsuna, for a moment, may have gotten so cold that she remembered what Setsuna had done. Dorka is a Logner, and Setuna is killing more Logner soldiers than she can count.

"I'm dying too."

"... Lord Dorka"

"I know. Hey, Mr. Grad. I didn't mean to resent you. Thanks to Logner's loss, I can't do a Legion Leader. I'm so grateful."

Where is it true and where is it a lie from? Dorca's usual floating attitude might have been brought to hide his true intentions.

Grad stares at Dorka.

"Be careful what you say. Your statement is too dangerous."

"Uh... well, could it also be a liability issue for Mr. Grad? Excuse me. I'll reflect."

"I don't know what I'm going to do. You have a future. You need to make enemies for nothing."

"... in the future, Mr. Grad will have it, won't he?

"Come on, man."

Grad took his gaze off Dorka. I guess there's something I think about him.

The air in the tent got heavier, but Grad didn't mind returning to the topic.

"Let's get back to it. According to previous information, Nagrasia's defensive force is one thousand and five hundred. It is obvious that Zalwarn's coup d 'état will result in a change of placement, but we will beat it before it is implemented, so it has nothing to do with it"

"Only two thousand against a thousand and five hundred shielded by Nagrasian walls. It's advantageous in terms of numbers, but when it comes to dropping bases, it's different."

Listening to Dorca, Setuna asked Falia in a whisper.

(Really?

(If you want to attack a base, you want twice to triple your defense, that's the theory.)

Glad opened his mouth as he was impressed with Faria's ear punching. Not surprisingly, it was received with suspicious attitude.

"What have you done? Ask me anything you have any doubts."

"Yes, it's a bad idea to monopolize Faria, Lord Kamiya."

"There?"

"Of course! That's the most important thing. Yikes!

"I'm going to go back because I'm going to miss the point again, but the key to attacking the base with this force is, after all, to leave Lord Setuna alone."

Grad magnificently streams Dorca's theory of power and draws attention to Setuna. Setsuna nodded quietly, acknowledging that everyone's gaze on this occasion focused on herself. There was no strange tension or embarrassment. I'm proud of myself. That's a power to admit it to yourself.

Black spear.

Chaos bringer.

It is the source of Setuna's power, and the power itself. Setuna can be said to be only a mediator to wield its power. An armed summoner would be more or less like that. Devices for exercising powerful forces. That is the armed summoner. You don't have to mourn that fact. It's also a strength to exercise all that power - and if you could imagine, Setsuna would be a little more comfortable.

Setsuna is not that optimistic. There is a reality that we have not been able to use the power of black spears. Too powerful a force may lose control and run wild one day. If you think so, you can't take it easy. So you have to work out your body and your spirit. As soon as possible.

Grad also nodded again as he saw Setuna nod. Then he took out a piece of paper and spread it on the table. Everyone, including Setuna, embarked on themselves simultaneously and gazed at the paper. The city of Nagrasia is carefully written in a simplified map with terrain north of the border. A city surrounded by thick walls.

"Nagrasia is a city surrounded by walls that protect all sides. In this day and age, towns without walls are rarer."

"The walls to protect themselves from the bandits and imperial demons transform the city into a strong fortress in times of war..."

When Ruufa snaps, Grad nods.

"If you are caged, you will have difficulty breaking through with this power."

"If they cage us, it's our loss. Without power, we won't have any food. Looks like the rest will be here soon."

"I want to settle by the time the sequel comes"

When Grad told him, Dorka shut up. I could not imagine how difficult it would be for Setuna to let the city fall by the time the hindsight troops arrived.

"Besides, it's not a good idea to bring him to Cage Castle where the sequel comes from."

"I know. The longer it takes, the more unfavourable it is to us. If I thought I was under siege, I wouldn't have been under siege."

Dorka snapped like she was out of it. I know even Setuna can't just distract me from Nagrasia.

"There are only two gates north and south. I mean, there's no need to deploy forces to the west and east."

"You don't even get your hands on the north side, do you?

"That's right. Leave the North Gate alone. It means we need to secure the enemy's exit."

Grad's explanation, as Setuna can see, would be. He seemed to be guessing Setuna wasn't following the story. Setsuna admitted that she was retarded, and although it was despicable that she would not, this is how she became afraid of one who cared.

Faria asks.

"If so, do you have any information?

"If you drop Nagrasia, it's about discovering it sooner or later. The only difference is whether it's early or late. And you can't even control information that crosses the sky."

"I see."

"I'm talking about the biographical dove."

Setuna was finally convinced by Faria's ear punching. Even if not a single soldier was killed without divulging it, it could be enough for the city's people to fly information. It's an invasion from an enemy country. There's no way I'm cooperating with this one. And you can't normally chase a scribbled pigeon and catch him. Leongand must have shot him off before.

"We will attack from the south gate, but we will undoubtedly be closed first. Then there's nothing better than destroying the gates and breaking into them."

"Ruufa can attack from above."

Setsuna said it and then wondered if it might be a bad way of showing off. Ruufa's Summoning Armed Silfed Feather was also easy to fly around the air by changing it to a wing. It will be easy to jump over the walls. Two, realizing there was no response from him, Ruufa grinned coldly as Setuna turned her gaze.

"Be targeted and bow-targeted, Captain."

"Just kidding..."

Setuna heard Faria sigh as she was pressured by the power of Ruufa.

"If you break in from the sky, you can't do it alone"

"So is that..."

Told by Grad, Setuna admitted her mistake, even with the subpoena armed of Ruufa, she would be able to fight to some extent. But I doubt they have enough power to get in and fight through the enemy formation. Ruufa also wants to try it. A slight gap can kill you.

"Then the gate will be broken through by the Black Spear,"

Dorka made a joke, but Setsuna didn't take it as a joke on the spot. If there's no other way, we'll have to do that.

It's the black spear that opens the wind hole.
