It was on the evening of the fifth of January that the battle of Mardrell came to an end.

Mardrell's defensive force is one thousand and two hundred, with Mion's knight Hercid-Bakel as its commander, and although a fierce battle was expected, Lucion's army has made a careless victory.

It all stems from the low morale on the part of Mion.

At the beginning of the war, arrows poured like rain from the walls of Mardrell, but the situation changes when Luca-Hardrow, an armed summoner belonging to the Battle of the White Skies, destroyed the castle gate. We can attack as much as we want from the safe zone called the inside of the walls, but I guess it was different to talk about the enemy coming into an avalanche inside the walls. The Mion army, which was deployed in downtown Mardrell, seemed to have been drained of its temper after witnessing the furious momentum of the White Heaven Battles. It was like something that kept going away from the holding area, and not just the noise that disturbed the formation, but it didn't even make it to the interception.

The White Heaven Regiment restarted its attack despite the clamor of the Mardrel defensive forces, and a few hours later, the White Heaven Regiment succeeded in securing the enemy commander, thereby seeing the battle of Mardrel come to an end.

Though both Hulberg and Linonclair have entered the battlefield of Mardrell, they are at the end of the battle without encountering a situation that would slash and lay down enemy soldiers. Hulberg had nothing but shrugging his shoulders to win enough to clap him out.

And I thought of Isius king of Myon, and I just sympathized.

"I see. Lucion is strong. Sometimes we just name the land of the martial arts."

Drawn before Halberg by White Heaven Battle Commander Barberide, the Knight Hercid seemed to have tried to scratch out his army's impudence by praising Lucion's army for its martial courage, but for Halberg that did not matter. Each and every soldier of Lucion is strong in acknowledging with himself, and not in being complimented and pleased by anyone else. Or, I didn't mean to curse the impudence that comes from the low morale of the Myon army.

"Well, there was no martial arts."

Hulberg told Hershey just that. Martial Arts. There was nothing else to say.

Thus, Mardrel suppressed.

The Lucion army, led by Halberg, when he can rest his body in Mardrell, is starting marching towards Myon Lion the following day. If nothing happens like this, we will be able to reach Myon Lion on the 9th.

Halberg continued to advance as he was struck by rain along with Linonclair and Barberide.

"Aim for Mion Lion! Tighten your fucking head!

Barberide's roar was as if to scratch out the rain.

"A knight is just a thing of name, is it?"

Gilbert-Hardy did not miss hearing the words Isius Ray-Mion uttered to sigh.

On January 8th, Mion Lion, the capital of Mion, was in a tranquility equal to silence. The silence envelops the whole of Myon Lion, so much so that the sound of rain breaking the silence may rather silence it. Everyone is screaming something, but no one has uttered a single word, such a strange feeling is causing one of Mion Lion's.

It was a while ago that there was a disturbance that turned the heavens and the earth upside down.

Isius's thrust on Gandia's demands not only made the inhabitants of Myon Lion, but also the Myon people in mourning. The people understand the greatness of Chancellor Mars-Barr and also the fact that thanks to him Mion was able to rebuild. But more than that, I also understand the rate of expansion in neighboring Gandia.

Gandia swelled rapidly and was quickly reborn into a militarily powerful nation.

Until six months ago, a weak nation that could not even defend itself without the help of Myon has now become strong enough to be held by allies from countries like Abad and Gibbel.

(Six months......)

Not for Gilbert, not for one.

Less than six months later, Gandhia became a country that did not need Myon. Mion is different. Even now, we should have needed Gandia's help. Only with the help of Gandhia could we have remained strong against our neighbours.

Laksha and Barak have been quiet also because Gandia, the shield behind Myon, has begun to become huge. The idea that Gandhia would not be silent if she gave a little to Myon served as a deterrent.

That's it, no more.

That's what stopping alliances with Gandia means. It means giving back all the profits you've been making, and I'm glad to say it's a choice that has no benefit whatsoever for Myon.

It was also impossible for the people of Mion to despair of Isius' decision or flee from within Mion.

It's more obvious than seeing fire that Gandhia will wage war as retaliation. I guess Mion's decision to cross over to another country before his land was overshadowed by war could have been called a smart choice. In fact, Mion is beginning to be engulfed in war.

On January 5th, Gandia's forces began their invasion of Myon. Gandhian troops are not the only ones. The army of Berrell, a Gandia country, has attacked from the north, and the army of Lucion, an ally, has attacked from the west.

The northern cities of Kalner are Silver Knight Ubail-Weather and the southwestern city of Mardrell are Hercid-Bakel, each in charge of defense. They are both knights like chunks of loyalty to Isius, and Mars-Barr appointed them guardians, probably because they believed in the loyalty of the knight.

but seven nights and a half - that is, the information brought to Myon Lion last night was a huge betrayal of Mars-Barr's expectations. Silver Knight Yubail-Waiser surrendered to the Berel army, which was approaching Kalner, and dawned on Kalner, and Mardrel's Hercid defeated Lucion's army without a battle-like battle, allowing Mardrel to take control.

Isius mourns, perhaps for granted.

Gilbert stared at the boy on the throne as he even remembered the chills of idleness during his gaze. The Boy King seemed to be looking somewhere far away without being in the open ocean. It's not here, is it?

Chancellor Mars-Barr is not here. He suggested to Isius more than once to repel the Gandhian army, but he seemed to realize that he should not be here because he had been bounced off all of it.

"Sire, for one thing, may I?

"Hmm...?

Unexpectedly, the light returned to the boy king's eyes. It was as if the free soul had returned, and at that moment Gilbert also trembled when his majesty as king began to be unleashed from Isius.

"Anything?"

"Your Majesty was told that knights are only names, but knights are things that live righteously"

"I guess so. If so, there were only knights of fame. Neither Yubail, who loved me, nor Hershey, who taught me how to use the sword, fought for me."

"… can martyr to righteousness in such circumstances"

Gilbert told, looking into Isius' eyes. The imbalance between childhood to innocence and sharpened majesty has made a person named Isius inexplicable. There's no sign of the boy Gilbert loved.

But there was no difference in the fact that he was Gilbert's only Lord.

That's why I have something to say. There's something I need to tell you. to the imbalance in him. To the inexplicable monster in him, I have something to tell you.

"Where shall we be, such as what dies for His Majesty, who has trampled on righteousness"

"I stepped on it...? You mean I stepped on righteousness?

"What is it called to betray the Allied Gandhia, forgive the great sinner Mars-Barr for trying to make His Majesty Leongand a deceased, and not unjust the fact that he hides it"

"Injustice..."

"His Majesty said that it was only with Mars-Barr that Killing Mars is as good as killing yourself. But let's sacrifice our country for it, and let's sacrifice our people, and so on."

"Does the general admire me? No way!"

Is it because that's what he meant that Isius intensified his discourse?

Is it that you wanted it to stop sooner?

(Not really)

Gilbert was convinced when he saw that there was no stray in Isius' eyes. He doesn't want anyone to stop him.

"Well, no way. I don't know what to do. Mion perishes in order to perish. That's all."

"So, good"

Isius had a satisfying grin. He wants ruin. Gilbert finally understood. What did Isius stomp on his separation from Gandia for?

I'm not convinced. but I could understand.

"... then give me your orders"

Gilbert stepped forward before Isius, and Fu was there.

There is no righteousness in this battle.

But fighting for righteousness is not all.
