Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand and Eighty-Seven: Messengers from the North

It was on December 19th, when Leongando Ray-Gandia returned to Gandion, the king's capital.

Leongand, who was heading out to Bandor, King Abad's capital, for the crowning ceremony, returning to Gandia with his companions, has stopped at Bakhlia, not Myram, from Nagrasia, but at Enjour, from the Dragon House to Zeol and Nagrasia. Enjour, the territory of Setuna, is known as the Hot Springs, but of course, he did not stop to immerse himself in the hot springs. Leongand is visiting Enjour to meet the nurses-Ragnahorn, who is in therapy at Enjour.

Enjour is the territory of Setuna. It was the first territory of Setuna Zenon Lars-Enjour Divgard, and Leongand, who visited Enjour, somehow found out that many of the inhabitants apparently supported Setuna. Maybe it's proof that Setuna is doing well as a collar uncle, and the work of the commissioner, Gordon-Fenec, is enormous. It was Nares who pushed Gordon-Fenec on Enjour's governor. Nares appointed Gordon as Wing General while Zalwarn was lurking, but it was a manoeuvre to weaken Zalwarn, that Gordon was not inherently a martial officer, but a bearer of civil-oriented character and ability. It is also clear from Gordon's current successful running of Enjour as a governor that Nahless's vision is certain.

Leongand, naturally, met Gordon and asked him where Nares was. Gordon didn't seem to know that Nares was dead. As someone in Enjour as well as Gordon, you should not know that Nares-Ragnahorn, who stays in Enjour and is in therapy, is already deceased. As long as August-Sancian or Merrill-Ragnahorn didn't even let his mouth slip, that fact wouldn't have leaked, and there was no way the two of them could have done such a far-fetched imitation.

Out of Enjour.

Merrill-Ragnahorn was in the distance of the small hot spring inn. Of course, there is no Nares-Ragnahorn. Merrill and his wife were playing August-Sancian, and he stayed in Enjour for a long time to keep Nares' death out of sight.

When Leongand heard from Augusto about Nahless' death, guiding Gandhia's future to the end, and fighting through as a military master again, the sight seemed to float behind his brain. Nares was still an outstanding soldier. Without him, there can be no doubt that there was no Gandia winning streak.

Leongand had plenty to discuss with Meryl. He mourned the death of Nares and also apologized for having to hide his death before the sorrow and pain of death could heal. Originally, the death of Nahless, which should also be called Gandhia's greatest merit, is something to mourn along with the entire Gandhian people, and even though Nahless wants it, it is nothing but pain that he has to hide the fact that he is dead.

When Leongand said such a thing, Meryl smiled at her temperament.

"My husband told me to laugh at times like this."

Meryl has said that, but there's no way she's not hard, and Leongand asked Augusto for her. On the other hand, it can be a pleasure. Meryl's stomach was swollen. Which means we're hosting the Nahless child. They say it's about eight months.

What pleased Leongand was the fact that Nares' wish had been greater than the fact that the son of Nares would be born. Nares wanted to leave blood behind. He wanted to leave his offspring behind. So the fact that Meryl is hosting the Nahless child was also a delight to Leongand. Even if the Nahless child wasn't the kind of person who would succeed him, it doesn't matter there. The mere fact that Nares was able to form a child was something to rejoice in.

When Leongand rejoiced from the bottom of his heart about it, Meryl was also the one who smiled happily at me again. Safely delivering and raising a child with Nares is the only way to respond to Nares' love, she said.

When Leongand ordered Augusto to support her, he ordered the neighbors to tighten Enjour's security even more.

Instead of being afraid that Nahless' death would be exposed, I thought I should protect Merrill. It is also a pleasure for Gandia to have the Son of Nares. Even if the child has the talent of a warrior, he can have the governor of the Ragnahorn family succeed him. The Ragnahorn family became a prestigious house at once by virtue of the activity of one Nares, but Nares had no brothers and his parents were already in the other. Relatives also refuse to engage with the Ragnahorn family for fear of punishment when Nares leaves Gandhia and belongs to Zalwarn. Nares did not attempt to repair his relationship with those relatives even after his return to Gandia, nor could he do anything about it more than Nares himself did. As a result, there was no inheritance of the Ragnahorn family, and as it were, the house itself became a floating presence in the universe.

But the discovery of Meryl's pregnancy solved those problems. All you have to do is wait for her to give birth safely. Whether it's a boy or a girl, it doesn't matter. There is no law that cannot prevail unless it is a boy.

Leongand is staying in Enjour for six days.

Immersed in the hot springs proud of Enjour, he soothed the fatigue of his long journey.

Six days after his arrival in Enjour, on December 11, he resumed his journey towards the Wang capital, crossing in the order of Marsour, Fortress Balsar and Mardar, and eventually reaching Gandion. That was the nineteenth, and Leongand was still receiving a grand welcome by the citizens of Wang Du.

Leongand hurried to the royal palace section, smiling in response to the greeting of one of the kings of the capital. Gandion is wide. Through the new town, we continue through the old town, through the crowded town, and finally reach the royal palace section, which should be called residence. The Royal Palace section was awaited by Gilver-Kernall, Elius-Logner, who had entrusted him with all his affairs during the King's absence, as well as the figure of Giselcourt Lars-Kernall Krebourg.

Leongand thanked Gisele Court for letting him be away, too, when he exchanged words with the two sides.

"I am honored to be entrusted with His Majesty's absence as a minister."

I guess there was no lie in Gisele Court's response.

Leongand narrowed his eyes to the sharpness of Gisele Coat's eye light. Has Gisele Coat ever had strong eyes so far?

The suspicion that he might be up to something has been clutching corners of his head since this spring. The fact that he invited in Benoagard spies gave rise to suspicion, but it was no exaggeration to say that Gisele Court has not done anything to the detriment of Gandhia since then, but rather has lived the days of contributing to Gandhia.

Anyway, while Leongand was in Abad, Gisele Court subordinated two of Gandia's neighbors, Azark and Laksha.

I heard that story during my stay in Enjour, and it was one of the reasons I cut my stay in Enjour in six days. I actually had plans to stay for about a few more days. To pretend to be in the wind that you are making arguments with Nares and to impress that he is alive. However, Leongando aimed for Gandion immediately when he broke off his stay in Enjour and his secret discussions with Nares in six days.

I subordinated him, which means he became a subordinate country like Berel and Abard.

Azark doesn't know yet. Azark, a country bordering directly west of mainland Gandhia, has maintained a friendly attitude towards Gandhia, unlike during the previous kings, when he became the current king. It was no surprise that King Azark thought that it would be better to subordinate things than to continue our friendship with the strengthened Gandia. I guess Gisele Court's negotiations gave that impetus.

Laksha was completely unintentional. This was exactly what I couldn't imagine. Laksha is a country located directly east of Gandhia Mion and southeast of Berel. It is a country with deeper ties to Myon than Gandhia, a country that has behaved hostilely or amicably with Myon and has changed its flag colour in time and in some cases. It was one of the countries where Gandhia was to have negotiations since Gandhia dropped Myon, but at a time when it could never be friendly. It was true that he saw that Laksha was extremely unlikely to attack Gandhian territory and that there would be room for negotiation. Gisele Court would have made good use of its negotiating space.

Regardless of Azark, who had decided for a while that it was okay to just maintain friendship, it was no exaggeration to talk about water in his bedear when it came to Laksha, who had just finally found room for negotiation.

When he heard the news, Leongand struck his knee and was surprised. The awesomeness of Gisele Court's diplomatic skill had no choice but to wrap his tongue around the fact that he was contributing to Gandia's national interests. Doubt is nothing but doubt. If we get in front of the fact that Gisele Court is doing everything in its power for Gandhia, it's something that blows away in an instant.

The increase in the number of countries belonging to them only means that the reunification of the group of small nations, which is Leongand's dream, will move forward. As I have said many times, the unification of the group of small States does not mean making all the groups of small States the territory of Gandhia. Gandhia has only been active in his outings because it is to bring up the entire group of small nations as one force, and for that reason the easiest to understand is to make Gandhia's territory. With the national territory expanding and the power of war growing, the need to increase the national territory was diminishing due to outings. War is also a great sacrifice. Eliminate losses and you won't win. It would then be wiser and quicker to not wage any battle, but to increase our forces by diplomacy. Depending on the negotiations, it can develop into war, but how many countries want to fight even one battle with the overwhelming power of Gandia? Of course, nothing, and not many countries will be under the umbrella of negotiations alone, but if Gandia further expands its forces in the future, the number of countries that will be under the umbrella of negotiations will increase.

Gisele Coat's achievements may be considered its litmus stone.

"Negotiation with Uncle Giselcoat, Azark and Laksha, was true, dauntless"

It was not until after entering the Royal Palace that Leongand let go of Gisele Court's merits and praised him. I walked in between my eyes to settle down on the throne. I did not want to put my greetings to Nage or Gracia behind me, but there are things that must now take precedence over that.

"I am so overwhelmed with joy"

Gisele coat bows her head respectfully.

"That's not even my father."

That's Gilvale. He respects his real father, Giselle Court. Nor does he even ketch on Gisellcourt's own political power, his arm as a politician, although he is wary of Gisellcourt.

"Jillvale. Sooner or later, you'll have to cross me."

Gisele Court looked out for Gilvere. Gilvere, near the side of Leongand, stands near the throne and Gisele Court is opposite the throne. On Gisele Court's side, besides him, there are General Deion-Hawklow, left eye, as well as Deputy General Jill-Balam and Allegria-Scene, Chief of Operations II of the General Staff.

"Ha... when it comes to crossing your father, it shouldn't be the majority of the time..."

"Naturally. Your loyalty to Your Majesty, is that most of it?

"No."

"Then transcend me. If you do, Your Majesty's dreams will always come true"

"Yes."

To Gisele Court's words, Gilvere nodded quietly, but strongly. There was no gap in the conversation between father and son to break into.

"So, Your Majesty"

"Hmm?"

"Treat it like a Gilvere. Because human beings are impossible to grow without being used."

"Okay."

He nods with a smile and turns his gaze to Jillvale.

"Just like Uncle Gisele Court, do me a favor."

"My pleasure."

After seeing with satisfaction that Gilvale would take the lead, he now speaks to Elius-Logner, who stands on the other side.

"By the way, did you mean a messenger came from Maldia?

"Yes."

"The Princess of Maldia is here as a messenger."

That was also why Leongand pulled Enjour up early.

The story of Mardia's princess, Yuno Lewe-Mardia, visiting Gandhia with the ministerial corps reached the ears of Leongando during her stay in Enjour.

Maldia was a country just north of Gandhian territory and further north of Abad, just between Abad and Benoagard.
