Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Hundred Ninety-One: Sid Zan-Rufaus (II)

Darkness.

I think I heard a voice in the dark.

A voice that curses heaven. A voice resenting fate. A voice mourning for despair. The sad cry of one man seemed to indicate that the man had lost everything. I lost everything I had from birth to that moment in an instant. It fell to the bottom of my disappointment, and I couldn't help but be stained with despair. Who can deny it, even if he cursed, resented or hated anything in despair?

I can do it.

He laughed bitterly, trying to say that to himself in the past. Where I've said that to myself in the past, nothing can change. The reality remains the same. That day, that time, that moment, the fact that he lost everything never covers it. The fact that everything was taken away by the Knights and given to them by the Knights will not change forever.

(Dreams)

I had a boring dream, he thought. I also thought about waking up early. It's not supposed to be if you're doing this. You should cut as much sleep as you can. Otherwise, we cannot complete the two words of salvation. Even smearing your past self ends up dreaming again.

First there was pain. It was as if the pain piercing my chest and back irritated my consciousness and encouraged awakening. You have to wake up. You have to raise your voice. I have to live. Maybe I felt that way because I was strangely breathless, dark, and hard.

"Whatever it takes, it's too much."

I heard voices. Luveris' voice is flaunted with some giving up and maybe some irony. I guess I'm even going against Sid. Sid was also getting too serious. I can hear another voice.

"That's why you said it was bad. I said I was a little too serious."

It's Bain.

"What are you going to do if Sir Rufaus doesn't wake up now?"

"There's no way. Hey...... right?

"Yes, even if you ask me."

It was Hulberto who was in trouble. The Knights' best youngsters are also friendly and kind to Bain, who tends to hate them. Every time he sees things like that, he thinks. Was it necessary to destroy the Benoagard royal family, etc. Had he inherited the throne, would Benoagard have been able to recover?

But on the other hand, I also think it must not have been that easy. Rebuilding a corrupt country is not a big deal. Firstly, if the roots of corruption had not been removed, Benoagard would not have changed, even if Hulberto had inherited the throne. And in that case, a paralyzed failing ring could have taken action and Hulberto could have been offered as a sacrifice.

"Well, it's not a bad idea to keep it in my house"

"What kind of hobby?"

"Hmph... Sid, you look beautiful inside"

"Still got a bad taste. Hey."

"A hobby better understood by a savage man like you."

"Ahem? What?"

"So why are you fighting like that?"

Hulberto screamed. Probably went between you two though.

Slowly open your eyes. The condition of the ceiling shows that it is not between the exercises. My chest and back pain had not completely disappeared, and my whole body muscles were screaming as a result of too much tension. Instead of a few minutes of training with Bain, it could have lasted more than an hour. It was also natural for fatigue to push in. So Gray listened to his colleagues and waited for time to pass.

"Mr. Halbert, why are you sheltering Lord Finwright?"

"I don't mean to shelter you."

Hal, you and I have a special relationship.

"Oh, really...?

"Hey, what are you talking about! That's not true!

"No way? What's that intense denial? Fine, it hurts..."

"Oh, oh... that, uh..."

As soon as he heard a word with Luveris' grief, Sid felt his gaze as he felt the goodness of so many people too pure for Halbert, who would wander off. Turning to you, the oldest of all was watching about Sid.

"Have you noticed?"

"He's in trouble, too."

"Better than you."

"It's cheaper than Sir Hulberto's, such as me."

Sid denied the idea, though, feeling the elderly's style in Shivula's care. Sid was desperate for his condition at one time, but as he learned about Halbert's existence and understood a human being named him, he found out how mild his despair was. The Royal family of Benoagard has been killed, with the exception of Halbert.

Blood needs to be shed for the revolution.

Wake up the upper body. When the muscles scream, but silence, and they circle their gaze to check the situation, they see that that's the next room between the exercises. I guess I can't see the doctor because of the decision that I don't even have to call a doctor, and there's no way Luveris could have made that kind of mistake. In fact, Sid is safely regaining consciousness. Both the training gear and clothes were removed and the bandages were wrapped around them. Underneath the bandage it is also painted with the Finlite family secret ointment that it works well for bruising, I guess. It's not as painful as I thought, because of that.

There were only four indoors: Shivula, Bain, Luveris and Halbert. Regardless of the lack of a military doctor, there is probably no single righteous knight indoors because the Shivulas forbade him to enter. Thirteen knights valued their horizontal connections with their colleagues, while being tough on vertical connections. Though we value lateral connections, it doesn't mean we don't have knights who are antithetical like Bain and Terius Zan-Kayloon. And it's a strange thing, because it's counterproductive, it doesn't mean you haven't admitted it.

"Oh? Whoa, you noticed!

Bain's big hand slaps Sid on the back. I put my face in severe pain, but I couldn't say anything back to a beast with a rough grin. Just nod.

"Oh... I don't know"

"Do something?"

"Because of Sir, I'm dying"

"Oh, it's my fault."

Sid stared back at Bain with the face that it was incredible because he had said he couldn't believe it.

That's when he heard the shoe coming indoors and Sid gazed at the entrance and exit. Sid isn't the only one. Both Bain, Shivula and the rest of the two were paying attention to the footsteps approaching the room where only this Knights executive was located. There are no doors. This room is like a rest stop that comes with it during practice, and it doesn't originally have a door itself. For this reason, I knew immediately who the shoe sounder was.

"Oh, it's a rare match."

"Oh, isn't that Lord Ward?"

It was Luveris who responded with a tone of relief.

It was Osfeld Zan-Ward who showed up at the entrance and exit. The knight with the gray hair, he's the only one in Benoagard. He is also one of the thirteen knights, and if he distinguishes the chief of the knighthood, Fairling Zan-Kluce, he can be called the head of the thirteen knights.

"I heard Sir Rufaus lost consciousness during his training, so he flew in... apparently he was worried."

"Yeah, well... I was able to regain consciousness safely, so when it comes to worries, I'm worried."

"Good. Good. It's not just Lord Rufaus, the Thirteenth Knight must be a Knights talent. Especially now is the time. If you leave the front now, it will be a little tough."

"Now... were you fighting somewhere, other than Maldia?

"I'm not listening to you. If there's anything other than Maldia, it's definitely our turn."

By "we," Bain means Sid, three people, including Rowfa Zan-Seyvas, in Bain. These three had always acted together since the Knights became the present system. The Knights also assumed that when running the Sids they would move in pairs, with the three rarely hitting separate assignments.

"If the salvation in Maldia becomes authentic, it means that Sir and the others will turn around."

Ozfeld has gone for granted. Bain asks Hulberto.

"Is that why you're mobilizing the Knights like Maldia?

"Come on?"

"Speaking of Maldia, I'm in charge of Lord Rhodes. Hal, you're not supposed to know."

"Yes, sir."

"Well, you'll see. Either way, I can't move until the year's up."

That's how Ozfeld smiled refreshingly. Osfeld Zan-Ward is a cool person and I can't help but feel sober when he says he's just there. Maybe I don't like that about him for the hot, bitter Bain. Of course, not everyone in the thirteen knights acknowledges their strength as knights, and that Ozfeld is second only to the commander of the regiment.

Sid asked, staring into Osfeld's scarlet eyes.

"From Your Excellency?

"Nothing yet. But you don't have to worry about anything. We have the protection of the Divine Table and a voice for salvation. As long as someone seeks salvation and reaches out, we can keep fighting. Even if this body perishes, lives are exhausted, even shadows are lost."

To the good words of Ozfeld, Bain and Halbert looked at each other, and Shivula and Luveris clasped their shoulders.

"Your Eminence is caught between God's tables for that reason."

The Knights are also known as the Knights of the Divine Table.

Because the oddly shaped table used for the meeting of the thirteenth knight is a substitute called the Divine Table, and all knights are protected by the Divine Table.

It was the doctrine of the Knights that it was the Knights with the protection of the Divine Table, and the correct use of their power, which was the desire of the Knights Chief Fairling.

And in order to draw the power of the Divine Table and use it correctly, he cannot leave between the Divine Tables right now, and therefore Benoagard does not take military action.

Because it is the Knights with the failing rings, and the Knights with the protection of the Divine Table.
