Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Five: Maldia Rescue Army

It was on March 8th that we took Valter further north, crossed the border between Abad and Maldia, and reached within Maldia.

On February 15th, more than two dozen days have passed since we left Gandion, King of Gandia capital, but given the distance between Gandion and Maldia, it was only natural that it would take that long, and even this would have been better hurried.

"It wasn't a quick trip."

Setsuna laughed at the words Leongand leaked in the camp on the day he crossed the border.

It was certainly not a quick journey.

The rebels, although they have half of Maldia territory in their hands, have not come down south in any way during this winter. Based on that fact, I can see how the rebels are counting on the power of Benoagard, and I can see that there is little chance that the Maldia domestic will be engulfed in war until they join the Knights. And it turns out that the Knights won't move until winter is over and spring is here. So Maldia tried to attach a rescue promise to Gandhia between autumn and winter, and Princess Mizu led the mission to Gandhion.

I don't think the Knights will make an immediate move just because spring has come. In the first place, given the distance from Benoagard to the front line of Maldia, there was some respite.

Meanwhile, Maldia's government forces also did not try to move during the winter months. Tactically, the government forces say they can't fight if only the rebels are opponents. Instead, they have enough power to overwhelm the rebels, but they decided to wait for reinforcements to arrive.

In the first place, if there is a formula that could destroy the rebels during the winter months, there is no need to ask Gandia for rescue. Even though there is no rear shield behind the Knights, I guess I could never have thought I could wipe out the rebels during the winter months. That's why I asked Gandia for help.

Gandhia responded to Maldia's rescue. If only we could destroy the rebels and then strike the Knights. Even if we cannot strike the Knights, this expedition is not pointless if we can put Maldia under the force.

In this way, the expansion of forces into tunnels leads to the unification of small groups of nations. Expanding the dominion by means of an outpost is not the only way to unify - that is to say, it is being heard scattered. Increasing subordination by negotiation, as in the case of Gisellcourt, is one instrument, as is increasing alliances. There's no way we can just stay at war.

Territorial expansion by war is only a last resort.

If it could be resolved through negotiation, I never went beyond it.

"But thanks to His Majesty's haste, my people in Maldia can rest in peace."

It was in the wake of Leongando's remarks that Princess Mardia, Yuno Lewe-Mardia, headed to Leongando.

Camp at night. Winter and spring signs mixed nights were still chilly, and everyone was forced to take measures to prevent the cold. So did Setuna and the others, and the nights I couldn't have spent without wrapping around a blanket in the tent. Maldia is located in the north among the small group of nations. The North says winter is long, but is this the case in Maldia, so does it mean that the Vashtarian Community and others have longer cold weather? Laheen was not sure about Setuna, who had no ties to Vashtalia.

On such a cold winter night, Setsuna was summoned to Leongando. When we entered Leongand's tent, Yuno was there, so... Yuno, when he saw Setsuna, had smiled somewhere embarrassing, but Setsuna didn't know what the intention was.

"Hmmm...... is that sometimes the case"

"Yes, my people of Maldia have been anxious about the fate of the country since the rebellion of the Saint Stone Brigade. Not only is the regular army of Maldia impudent, but the rebels have expanded their forces and brought the Knights of Benoagard into the country on top of it… not many would have seen the country perish as a matter of time"

"There we are," he said.

"This much fighting power has brought me to the rescue. The people will be pleasantly surprised and relieved. And this is thanks to the dedication of His Majesty and Setuna."

I didn't even know Yuno was a good cigarette.

The Maldia Rescue Army had become a large army with nearly 20,000 troops, thanks to the Gandhian army and reinforcements from various countries. Setsuna hears that Yuno was about to count on him to be a large army that easily surpassed Maldia's total strength, and that if only the rebels were opponents, it would even be possible to kick it over. Ein's idea is that he won't be the target if it's about the rebels.

The problem is not the rebels, mainly the St. Stone Brigade, but the Knights of Benoagard, who support the rebels. Speaking of the reverse, it means that if only the Knights could manage, it would not be difficult to regain Maldia's territory, but Setsuna knows best that it is not easy to do something about the Knights. Regardless of the Knights' soldiers, the Thirteen Knights are extremely powerful. Even the two armed summoners cannot be defeated. I'm glad to call that an anomaly.

"What, the production is coming, Your Highness. And it is in that production that Setuna will shine"

"Sire?"

Setsuna turned her doubts to Leongand because he said something that he would incite. It seems like a non-Leongand-like story. But Leogand keeps going at that rate.

"Setuna, Her Royal Highness's immediate nomination. Tension."

"Ha."

Setuna can only respond to this.

Then Yuno took Setuna's hand. The princess's hands, wrapped in a bright costume, are always white and pathetic to look at.

"Dear Setuna... please don't just push it."

"Excessive care, painful"

"... may be an unnecessary word for Master Setuna"

"No, thank you very much. But......"

Setsuna, while thanking Yuno from the bottom of her heart for his care, wanted to hear what she had been concerned about earlier. Yuno makes it right.

"What's wrong?

"I know Your Majesty has done his best, but isn't it a mistake to add me there?

"No. For me, Master Setuna, like His Majesty, is a great force"

"That's right, Setsuna."

It was just unexpected that Leongand would affirm Yuno's statement.

"Yes?"

"You're more influential than you think."

"Ha...?

"Well, you don't have to know. Your share is in the battlefield."

"Well, I know that..."

Do not accept, affirm.

Setsuna's real place on the battlefield is what Setsuna herself understands best. Rather, he even thinks it's only on the battlefield. To fight on the battlefield, to achieve greater results than anyone else, and to bring victory to Gandia. That is the role, the role and the mission of Setuna. Nothing else. Neither his tenure as SS chief nor his tenure as collar uncle is comparable to what he was meant to be on the battlefield.

"The battlefield is still far from where that portion should be played out. Take care not to get boring injuries until then."

"Of course, sir."

Setsuna resigned before Leongand and Yuno when she first agreed to Leongand's advice.

Out of Leongand's tent, the full starry sky greeted Setuna. At a time when winter and spring intersect, the starry sky is too clear, just even beautiful. It's even as powerful as if the stars were coming down. I guess the air is clear. It was no longer something I was used to seeing, but it was an unthinkable view in the city of the original world. It's not just the starry sky. Even one of the scenery around the camp was just unthinkable in Setuna's original life in the world, and it was strange when it came to wondering that I was used to those sights.

Nearly a year and nine months have passed since they were summoned. It was natural to get used to the scenery, and it's natural to adapt to life in this other world. It's a world you can't live without getting used to.

I'm also used to killing one.

I'm used to it.

It would no longer be a groundwork story, such as going back to the original world and back to the original life.

My hands are stained with blood.
