Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand Five Hundred and Five, Linonclair and Lucion.

20th May of the Continental Calendar 5003.

More than ten days had passed since the rebellion ended, and Gandion, the king's capital, was in a state where it could be said that he had fully regained his peaceful routine.

There was also an award for merit, the announcement of a major renovation, and although various things were moving, the end of the long battle that followed from the Maldia rescue had given those who took part in the war a long vacation. Many of those who did not take part directly in the war should also be enjoying their vacations. If only we could secure the necessary fighting power for homeland defense, we wouldn't have to worry about it for the moment.

Gandhia survived the national disaster and took off the crisis.

Though many wars and talents have been lost, it is nevertheless the largest state in the small group of nations, and there is no difference in boasting an overwhelming military power. Of Azark, Laksha, Zibel and Ishika, hostile to Leongand, Azark and Laksha lost much of their fighting power, and there was no way they could do things like poke a post-war rest period. That's the same thing I can say to Gibbel, Ishika. Gibbell had lost the True Reaper unit he would have expected as the main force, and Ishika has also lost the Star Bow Corps and Bow Saints, which were the strongest units.

Even if they join forces, they are not enough to attack and destroy exhausted Gandhia.

More importantly, the great name for those countries to defeat Leongando was lost when Gisellcourt's conspiracy ended in failure. They were defeated. That fact would be taken seriously.

Leongand also publicly announced that he was considering retaliating against the countries that had inflicted the Gisele Court conspiracy.

It's a natural measure.

Azak, Laksha had vowed subordination to Gandia, and Zibel, Ishika, had formed an alliance. If we allow those nations to betray us, Gandia's position and majesty as a nation will be stunningly lost. In the future, if the country that made some sort of agreement with Gandhia betrays it, it could even be nothing. We have to be resolute here.

On the other hand, he has taken generous steps towards Lucion and Berrell.

As for Berrell, Elius-Logner's response was everything. Elius took Isla Lewe-Berell hostage and demanded that he remain immovable against Berel. By doing so, he tried to secure Berel's position after the war. If Berel had carried out an attack on the Leongands, he would have had to take retaliatory action against Berel as well. It was thanks to the driving of Elius that we did not have to do it, and King and Queen Berel were grateful to him. As for Berel, he was subordinate because he was Gandhia of Leongando, and I guess he didn't have the hair, like he was going to wear a gisel coat.

King Berel promoted the marriage of Elius and Isla and engaged the two. Whether or not there is a match between the princess and the king's side, if we consider it a subordinate princess and the king's side of the ruling power, there will be no problem. Instead, it should be said that there is no more political marriage for Berel.

There was some political consideration that this would make the Gandhia and Berel ties stronger, but above all, it was clear from knowing what King Berel said and did that he wished them happiness.

Istria, king of Berel, wanted the best happiness for her because she had taken her beloved daughter Isla hostage. If that was marriage to Elius, he even seemed to think it wouldn't matter if it wasn't of any political value. Even my beloved daughter by so long, given the anguish she had to take hostage, Elius's role in the survival of Berrell might have been a matter of no other gratitude to Istria.

As for Lucion, there was a reason that he had been an ally for many years and that he could not be cut off immediately because of the need to defend the South, but more importantly, that the country's representatives had become the real sister of King Leongand, Linonclair.

As for the fact that Lucion had to do so on the Giselcoat army, he made up the reasons why he had to do so and circulated it as a truth. Within Gandhia, although there was the loudest outcry for the betrayal of Lucion, a long-time ally, the truth blown by the Gandhian government made the voice of sympathy for Linonclair overwhelming. There were more voices of sympathy for Linonclair than for the former.

Queen Lucion Linonclair led the White Knights and joined the Maldia Rescue Army. When Giselcoat made the conspiracy, it was in the land of Mardia with the Leongands, and when he learned of the fact that the Lucion army, led by Hulberg, was acting together as a Giselcoat army, he was so shocked that it seemed that heaven and earth had become oblivious.

Lucion's betrayal was hard for Linonclair to believe.

She did not believe in Hulberg's betrayal until she confronted Lucion's army on the Logner side, and did not give up persuasion until the end, even when she saw the fact that Hulberg was hostile to Leongand. She thought there was no reason for Hulberg and Leongand to fight.

That would have been true, even for Leongand.

Halberg was a brother-in-law, comrade and best friend to Leongand. It was also a pattern between telling dreams together and vowing to follow dreams together.

The heart of Leongand, betrayed by him like that, is beyond imagination.

Linonclair must have also understood the thoughts of such a brother. That's why I tried to convince Halberg, but I'm ending up failing.

Halberg died in battle over the fortress of Balsar. Leongand put his hands down. Though Linonclair saw the moment, there was nothing like blaming Leongand for it. That seems to have been hard on Leongand.

'How much would you rather blame me? Nothing, it's just much harder to be accepted'

Nevertheless, it may not have been possible to blame Leongando or anything like that, either as Linonclair.

Instead of blaming Leongando, Linonclair has assembled Lucion's army after the Battle of Balsar and participated in the Battle of Mardar and Gandion. It was definitely a decision to make Lucion's sins a little lighter by doing so. In fact, that created the impression that Lucion was not a completely hostile country, and that there was stronger sympathy for Linonclair after the war.

If such a linonclair would be Lucion at the apex on behalf of Hulberg, there would be no problem as an ally - an arrowhead that everyone thought so, a large group of people from Lucion visited Gandhia.

Linonclair is back in Gandhia.

"Your Majesty, you are in a good mood."

Linonclair, who came in between the glances, looked no different than before, and Leongand could not help but feel stranger anxiety than at ease.

"Long journey, hard work"

"Long journey, not so much."

Linonclair laughed dullly at what was strange. Its brightness is strangely painful. Certainly not that far from Sailor to Gandion. Seven days is long enough to get there. Extraordinarily closer than Ryufu from Gandion. But he can't help but think that it's enough to laugh.

Isn't it impossible and behaving brightly?

Leongand thought of his sister's mood and narrowed her eyes.

"I'm listening. I have no problem getting that back to the Gandhian royal family. but are you sure?

"Yes."

Linonclair, nodding quietly, lay down her eyelashes. That's just it, her expression darkens.

"Lucion has no place for me."

She returned to Gandhia only because she lost her position in Lucion.

Caring for her heartbroken, Leongando called her into his chambers as soon as he broke his sight. Arya hasn't even returned yet, and there are only two Leongands and Linonclair indoors. It was his consideration that if we didn't do this, we wouldn't be able to tell her the truth or anything.

There was a coup d 'état in Lucion.

The King's brothers issued a statement condemning King Hulberg's attempts to lead his own army and to discuss Leongand, the king of his allies. I hope I can't entrust my country to the Queen Linonclair where she is Hulberg's wife, I pressed Linonclair to leave. Although the Linonclair tried to resist the old Hulbergs. Linonclair lightly abandoned the throne of queen and decided to leave it to the king's brothers.

Brother Wang, that is, the brothers of Hulberg, but Mizu did not come to the throne. Again, we couldn't stop Hulberg from storming, so we couldn't hold the throne. The King's brothers decided not to be of the direct line of the earlier King Halloween, but to presume to the King the youngest brother of the earlier King Haldios, or Haldim, the son of Halloween, the brother of Halloween.

"You should learn how they feel, too."

"I know, sir"

Linonclair had a good look that he didn't have to say. In fact, the emotion must be in her as it is. I lived a full life in Lucion for a few years. She should have been more familiar with Lucion's reality than Leongand and understood the thoughts of one of Lucion's.

"Everyone feels good about it. Much like Halberg."

"Right."

"I, too, decided to leave the Royal Lucion because I was convinced"

She told, slowly, with serenity as if she had accepted anything.

"That would be more convenient for Lucion"

Convenient, that was all.

Lucion was about to change his relationship with Gandia as he welcomed the new King Hardim. Gandhia, in concert with Gisele Court's rebellion, gave legitimacy to Halberg's actions, which made him an enemy of Leongando, and intended to continue his alliance with Lucion even after the war, but there seemed to be something on Lucion's part that was not satisfactory.

You can't write off the fact that Lucion, led by Halberg, betrayed Gandhia. And as it is, the Lucion government decided that any alliance with Gandia could also cause problems. So what was derived was the dissolution of the alliance, as well as Lucion's subordination to Gandia.

In other words, by becoming a subordinate, not an ally, we intend to redeem ourselves for betraying Gandhia.

For this reason, it is difficult for Lucion's representatives to be Linonclair. Then it could be taken as if the marriage between Linonclair and Hulberg were a conspiracy that Gandhia had set up to make Lucion his country. I'll have Linonclair daughter-in-law later to gain Lucion's statehood, and I'll have Halberg in tune with Gisellcourt's conspiracy. The dishonorable rumor that Leongand- and so on - is a disdain for the fact that Linonclair and Halberg loved and trusted each other. The Lucion people, who know the rapprochement between the two, will make such rumors and will not believe them, but other countries, which do not know the truth, do not necessarily. It is not the wish of the Lucion government that dishonorable rumors be told like facts and that they tread the hearts and minds of one of the Linonclair and Lucion.

Halkar and the others, after so much thought, advised Linonclair to get off the throne of the queen. And Linonclair also returns the position of representative of Lucion because he learned of those thoughts of his brother-in-law. Furthermore, he decided to leave Lucion because his presence might be in the way of Lucion becoming a subordinate of Gandhia in the future.

She came back to Gandhia for that kind of complicated reason.

As for her, she seemed to be thinking of succeeding Halberg's will and making Lucion a better country, but she would also have been unable to do so. Linonclair, who came back to Leongand, looked a lot thinner than before.

I lost Halberg and should be spiritually present, but I had to see the end of the conspiracy before the position of representative of Lucion, without being able to show others how it was, and without being allowed to cry or sweeten. She is a queen and a culminating figure for a post-king-free country. There was no way I could have lived crying. That remained unchanged after the Giselle Court was discussed and an end was struck to the long battle. It was for that reason that she also raised the feast to Lucion there.

After burying the remains of Halberg in the land of Lucion, she behaved like a queen, as the queen of Lucion. I had to behave. Because she is what stands at the top of Lucion. And that was supposed to be the rest of her life.

It may be that Halkar and his men decided to be subordinate to Gandhia and let Linonclair off the Queen's throne that she looked so painful, or something. Halberg's younger brothers, as Linonclair put it, were all pleasant figures. They loved and respected Linonclair, who was Hulberg's wife and hit her sister-in-law. After such betrayal by her beloved husband, there was no way she would have felt painful about the situation of losing it in front of her and having to continue to stand as the representative of the country, with deep wounds in her heart.

Leongand was grateful to the Halkars.

Linonclair is never the bearer of a weak heart. Learning the sword from her childhood and becoming a master of swords competing for one or two even in Gandhia through training in male facial defeat, she had a rare strength, both physical and mental. He stood on the battlefield in his mid-teens, sometimes leading troops and wielding extraction. She may have been the bearer of a stronger heart than Leongand. But still, there will be limits.

She was betrayed by her beloved husband, Halberg, and murdered by her brother in front of her.

It wasn't surprising that it was spiritually coming.

Yet she showed no such bareback, took Lucion's army together and continued to serve until the battle was over. He behaved with great temperament and continued to be a bit harsh. It must have made her proud, but it also continued to strain her heart.

As it were, if she continued to be the queen of Lucion, she might have broken one day.

"... it would be best to leave Lucion's things to Lucion's"

"I think so, too."

Linonclair nods calmly. It's been a long time since she's had that look. Her heart must not have known to rest since the news came that Hulberg was in tune with Gisellcourt's conspiracy. There was constant impatience and anxiety swirling in her mind.

Freed from the position of Queen of Lucion, she may have finally been able to regain her human emotions.

"You don't have to think about it for a while, you just need to take it slow and quiet. Right... why don't you go to Enjour or Baghlia?"

"Enjour......?

"It's the largest hot spring in our country. As for the scale, Bakhlia is better up there, but the recommendation is Enjour. Enjour is the territory of Setuna. Even in a position like yours, you'll feel comfortable going."

Linonclair creaked as Leongand proudly said.

"Brother."

"What?

"As always, you're sweet"

"... Kindness is not enough for a king."

And it's not like I'm just a kind person.

"Isn't that nice? Even if there's a king who's just kind."

Linonclair smiled.

"I like that kind of brother."

I felt her positive words contained all sorts of thoughts, and Leongand couldn't say anything back.

What is Leongand to Linonclair? What kind of man is he?

It made me think about that.
