Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Lesson One Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Eight Second Site Survey (II)

The second survey of the ruins found in the basement of the Apostle's Forest began on June 7, 5003, of the Continental Calendar.

The chief of the delegation was Will Weed of the Intelligence Department, and the investigation team was organized with Jean-Jackwar and other people from the Intelligence Department as the backbone. A number of members of the Intelligence Department, the General Staff Bureau and investigators participated, and a large number of scholars and researchers residing in Wangdu were accompanied. Royal Palace Secretaries Cain-Vivre and Ur have been convened as combat personnel to protect those non-combatants from unexpected circumstances.

In addition to the Cains, the battle personnel were joined by two armed summoners from the Bureau of Magicians and a team led by Lux-Vain, the Assault Captain of "The Pale Wind" from the Mercenary Bureau.

It seemed like Will-Weed, the little one, was far too wary, but still unable to forbid anxiety. It is his theory that the human cowards in the intelligence department are just about right, and that would not be wrong.

The survey team, led by such cowards, created a relay point inside the site during the first day, where they first took a break from discussing the survey plan. The investigation plan itself was reconfirmed because it had been worked out prior to departure. Cain and others may have decided to join the meeting the day before they left, and they might not have been able to figure out what it was without attending it.

Cain's role in having to play Ur's amulet was troublesome, but the presence of Lux-Vain didn't bore him.

"It's a surprise that you're a human being taking part in an investigation like this."

"Surprise, I guess."

The silver-haired "Sword Ghost” looked surprised. The swordsman who became even more vicious in the battle from Maldia rescue to Gandhian liberation was such a genius that he thought it would be a shame for Cain to use such talent as a site survey.

"I obey the Commander's orders. This is the iron rule of the regiment."

"Any orders?

"Of course."

He comes nodding, naturally.

"What if they tell you to die?

"Just die."

Lux's words are mild. Light, but really imminent. I guess that's what you really think. Even if Sigurd-Foliar, for example, jokingly ordered such a thing, he must execute it. Something resembling madness was shaking behind its eyes. Those eyes, they laugh slightly.

"You would, too, wouldn't you? Cain-Vivre"

"Yeah but... me and you don't have the same reason"

"Really? You're similar."

I don't know.

Probably not.

Both he and Cain are alike in the sense of a creature that finds its place only on the battlefield, but its nature is as far away from heaven and earth as it is. Never interact. I think so.

Cain will soon be trapped in madness, even if he is not ruled, and will only die after the runoff, but he is not. They are creatures that can live in order. It's not like me.

"What are you talking about?

Cain thought it was Ur's bad habit to try to join the conversation with others. I look at Uru in a smile mask and flatter his shoulders.

"This is bullshit. It's not enough."

"That's how you're going to be off the hook again,"

"It's true."

"Lord Cain is right, Lord Ur."

is, Lux.

"Really?

"Yeah, I'm sure you're joining the story, but it's kind of cut-off because it's not funny or anything."

When Lux told him coldly, he went back to his men.

Ur, after glancing at Lux's back, rode onto Cain to gather his surrounding gaze. That's what she is, a little depressing. And with that in mind, it's no exaggeration to protest about Cain's chest and other prospects, biting her in the earlobes. Maybe she doesn't have the feeling of caring about someone else's eyes.

Most importantly, it was similar to Kane's, and it didn't bother who would look at themselves in any way.

It's just that more trouble is troublesome.

Site surveys evolved without problems or incidents.

Although the first day ended with the creation of a relay point, as mentioned earlier, the second day, during the first investigation, allowed or progressively explored the passages that had been missed.

The Envoy's Forest Underground site had been found in the first survey to be a huge and vast site, and the second survey team had been gathered with equipment and personnel sufficient to be able to survey the site of the assumed size. The “buried civilization” researchers and scholars were also brought together to smooth the investigation and were of a different scale in all respects from the primary investigation.

"I'm pretty sure the first investigation was more aggressive."

During the investigation, Ur ate into a word that Cain, who had no leisure time, blurted and crushed.

"Oh, you're being called weak, even with the guard dog of the Royal Palace Secret Service."

"Watchdogs have watchdogs, rundogs have rundogs, ghosts have ghost roles"

"What do you mean?

The only reason Ur is grinning like he stuck around is because he's in a bunch of strangers, a group of investigators. Her expressive face exposure was about in front of Leongand, Arya and Cain, and where others were, she had a basically creepy grin. Nevertheless, the more a man looks, the more colourful he feels, and the less he seems to be attracted by that grin.

"The watchdog is nothing but a watchdog."

When Cain told her in the tone she woke up, she shook her head like she didn't know why. Maybe I gave up a lot. As for Cain, I would appreciate it, and for that reason I went out of my way to make it difficult to understand.

The Second Investigation Mission's strength is never low either. The "Blue Wind" assault team led by “Sword Ghost" Lux alone is powerful enough, with two armed summoners from the Magician's Bureau and two (one of whom is non-combatant) from the Royal Palace Secret Service. It would be too much if we were to investigate the interior of the site, where there would be no Imperial Devil either. It is simply a matter of saying it is not enough when compared to the First Investigation Team.

(No)

He shakes his head in his chest.

(Are you just inferior to one Setuna)

The First Investigation Team had Setuna joining the escort that she had no time to spare, and that alone seemed to overwhelm the war differential with the Second Investigation Team.

Cain, with his eyes, looks.

The black spear Setuna is witnessing the moment when Maxwell-Arkiel summoned and overwhelmed the Cains, the Demons of Time, and destroyed the white giants in an instant as well.

The footage was deeply engraved in memory as well as burning into his retina.

Setuna is much stronger than she was when she first fought across the street. If Cain fights him now, he'll just be beaten without bitterness.

Differences in power are historical.

That's the difference in the power of the subpoena.

And that's the poor strength of the armed summoner.

It is no exaggeration to say that the power of the summoning arm that an armed summoner can invoke is determined by the strength of the armed summoner, if you put it. Even if you succeed in chanting a great and powerful spell and assembling a surgical ceremony, even if you succeed in subpoenaing, whether you can handle that subpoena weapon is a different story.

In that sense, there is no doubt that Maxwell-Arkiel was a substandard prowess as an armed summoner. He is not the only one at the time of plain use of summoning arms summoned by spells knitted over twenty years.

It is no wonder that such a powerful summoning arm, at the moment of summoning and attempting to treat it, has left aside the regurgitation phenomenon and destroyed the spirit. There have been as many such instances, and that is why armed summoners should not fail to train and drill. If we don't continue to hone our spiritual powers, we can lose the power that flows in from our summoning armies and lose everything.

There is no question that the Black Spear Chaos Blinger is a subpoena armed with immense power.

At a time when the Cains fought with all their dying power, forcing them to struggle, lightly enough to overthrow the Devil of Time, which was pushed to the point of citation, defeat, it could no longer only be unimaginable to the Cains.

Setuna's power to use such a summoning weapon is needless to say above the Cains.

Most of all, when I said that to Setsuna, I knew that it was falling to be humbled. He has a verse that doesn't understand his strength.

The second day of investigation ended with a thorough exploration of the western side of the underground ruins. Spend the night at the relay point and welcome the morning of the third day. Dusty underground space. The scenery, which remained the same in the morning and night, was only deprived of time intervals, but there was no particular difficulty, partly thanks to the habit of sleeping at night and waking up in the morning. Ur was beginning to be dissatisfied with the fact that he seemed to be bewildered by the madness of the sense of time and could not bathe. But Cain's suggestion that we should go back to the ground is to inflate our cheeks and argue.

"Remember, Lord Cain has never been alone with me."

In short, she stepped on his heels to protest against Kane, who understood she didn't want to leave.

There was nothing particularly unusual about the second day of the investigation, only to discover the staircase leading further underground, and the third day began with descending that staircase.

Down the stairs there also continues a labyrinth-like passage, with Cain and Ur facing each other. Wouldn't it ever end at this rate - it was such a complex space to make you imagine it was impossible to create even with modern architectural technology?

"Even if we could build it ourselves, how many years would it take to complete it... no, how many decades would it take"

During the break, Will-Weed also agreed with Cain.

"So that's all technology was in ancient times?

"It will. Because there's no doubt that" buried civilization ”used something called hypertechnology that doesn't exist today."

"Ultra-tech......"

"It's famous for its automatic opening and closing doors and lifting mechanism."

Jean-Jackwar supplements.

"Automatically...... that sounds pretty funny"

"It must be a lifetime experience. You see the moment when you're suddenly caught in a closed door and your torso is cut off."

"Well...... horrible"

"That's the danger, too."

"The dream that Master Setsuna had in the first investigation must also be a defensive function of that ultra-tech"

Cain also looked through the report of the first investigation. There was also a testimony on board that Setuna and the others had the same dream, according to which they seemed to be attacked by something that embodied their aspirations. It could certainly be interesting that such a bad taste is a defensive function.

The Second Investigation Team has so far had nothing to interfere with such defensive functions.
