Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty-one: Medical Academy

The Knights National Academy of Medicine was present in the upper central section of Benoa with the Knights headquarters, Castle Benoa, only called the Knights' Regiment.

Flood Zan-Esteban was ordered to take care of Setuna, and he immediately prepared a wheelchair. There was no way it wasn't close to Castle Benoa. It was a white-air building on a corner across an alley from Castle Benoa, and a flag with a crest indicating the Academy of Medicine stood on the property within Benoagard, stirred by the wind. It is unclear what a crest painted in water on white shows, but it is definitely a crest you will not forget once you see it.

The medical school grounds were surrounded by high, thick walls and it seemed impossible to peek into the grounds. However, since the medical school building itself was much larger than the walls and so on, it was likely that from a distance it would be possible to see the exterior of the building. It's a white-air building. However, there was something very different from other buildings in the city of Benoa, which meant that it was a wooden building. Among the Benoagard-style architectural groups, it was also one of the few wooden buildings, which was very noticeable. Besides, it's as brand new as it's just been built, and it boasts dazzling whiteness even under cloudy skies, so there's no choice but to float too far from the Benoa landscape.

"This is the medical school?

"Yes. It will be brand new. I rebuilt it about a year and a half ago."

"Why again?"

"As a result of the" Great Destruction, "the medical school collapsed before it was rebuilt, causing numerous casualties, both physician and patient. As soon as the“ Great Destruction ”confusion subsided, it began to rebuild and was finally completed approximately a year ago. I guess you were right to make it wood when you rebuilt it. There's never been warmth in the hospital."

Listening to Flood's explanation, follow his guidance and turn to the front of the Medical Academy, entering the premises from an open gate. Though the Knights' obedient knights and young men acted as gatekeepers, Setuna and the others were not to be blamed. It may also be because of Flood, who wears a uniform indicating a true knight, but it is not unlikely that the Academy of Medicine is simply open.

A medical school is, in short, a hospital. There seems to be more than just one medical school here, but there are several others in the city of Benoa, but the story was that this large medical school is particularly large among them and has a considerable capacity and number of doctors compared to others.

There were two buildings on the grounds of the Academy of Medicine. One is a wooden main building. There would be about three floors of buildings that you could see from outside the fence. The other is a stone building, said to be a separate building, in a space surrounded by walls but partitioned by thick stone walls.

"You don't have to understand that the annex is made of stone, do you?

"Because you have albinism patients in the hospital......?

"Your answer. That's great."

"Exactly what... you know?

"Yes."

When Setuna asked for consent, Lem leaked a bitter laugh like she was in trouble.

I can imagine from the robustness of its structure that the annex is a sanatorium for people with albinism. Anything suffered from albinism could sooner or later become a god and ramble around. It's also never a low probability. If this happens, the wooden buildings will be destroyed in no time, and other inmates may be harmed. At the very least, they want to minimize the damage by making it a robust stone building. Most importantly, the offensive power of the Divine Man is outrageous, so much so that it will be lightly dimensioned and shattered whether it is a stone building or not. It's not like the doctors at the medical school didn't understand that fact, but just a little bit, Setuna was anxious.

However, the fact that the Knights headquarters is at the end of my eyes and nose has alleviated my anxiety. If, even in the unlikely event that an albino becomes a divine man and rampant, either the Knights Commander or the Deputy Commander will respond immediately. With that intention in mind, I know from Flood's description that he didn't build it in the neighborhood of Castle Benoa, but it's hard to believe that the Ozfelds don't grasp the possibility that it will.

After diving through the main entrance, it's in the courtyard. Sometimes in the winter, there are only about small ponds and dead trees to see, but in the spring, colorful flowers will bloom on one side of the perimeter. Apparently, the courtyard, designed to provide mental care for inpatients, is very healing to one of Benoa's deeply wounded hearts by “great destruction” besides the inmates.

"The Great Destruction has also hit Benoa hard. We have heard that the Academy planted numerous flowers, thinking not only of the wounded, but also of the victims."

"Heh..."

"No matter how healthy your body is, depending on your state of mind, you won't be able to live."

"Sure, you're right"

Listening to Flood, follow him to the Medical School annex. The compartment, which was situated on the premises but partitioned by stone walls, had gates, which were rigidly closed. They make it easy to get in and out, and the gatekeeper was hit by two squire knights. The squire, in position, was the same as the general soldier, who sometimes seemed to be run for chores or hit hospital guards.

As Flood stood first and proceeded in front of the obedient knight, the two gatekeepers looked at each other and then saluted to the orthodox knight. And open your mouth.

"Ahead is the Grand Medical Academy annex. If you need help, you must complete the process in the main building first."

"Even at the behest of a true knight, huh?

"Ha. We are under the protection of the Academy of Medicine by His Excellency the Commander, and no matter how righteous a knight may be, we will not let you through in our presence."

Setuna was rather fond of the attitude of the resolute obedient knights. People who are loyal to their duties must be favored in whatever position they are in. Except I haven't seen all the people who aren't keen on their duties.

Flood eats down.

"Can't you handle it there? This one has guests."

"I won't. Admit it, we'll have to cut our bellies off."

"Hmm..."

"Mr. Flood, I'm not in a hurry, so long as we go through the process in the main building"

"If that's what Lord Setsuna says, I'm not dependent on you... but I'm sorry about the inconvenient organization."

"No, no..."

Setuna felt more sorry for what Flood was afraid of. I feel as if Setuna is forcing me through. It would have been better if we had done the procedure in the main building with that and officially put it in the annex.

Then, although I immediately took a trip to the main building, I had to go through the process to get into the annex and pinch lunch. The discussion among the Divine Tables was prolonged, and by the time it was over, it was long past noon. Still, I didn't feel hungry, so I moved directly to the medical school, but as I waited for the procedure to be completed, my stomach rang. Now we may even be able to enter the annex, which led us to lunch.

The main building of the Academy of Medicine had a dining room that could be used not only by inpatients but also by outsiders visiting to visit them, where Setuna and the others decided to have a late lunch. Flood leaked the story that building as if it were a modern Japanese hospital was due to the suggestion of a certain person as he rebuilt the main hospital of the medical school.

The person is the one currently engaged in the study of albinism in the annex, and about a year and a half ago, he seems to be the one who got lost in Benoa.

"What kind of person are you?

"I was wondering if it would be better if you enjoyed it after seeing me. I will tell you that you are a wonderful person who is contributing to the development of Benoa's medicine."

I guess Flood doesn't dare talk about the person because he also understands some sort of connection between the person and Setuna. Setuna finished her meal, holding back her desire to ask questions. Flood is paying for it.

Setuna did not currently have a penny of gold.

"If Lord Setuna is going to help the Knights, we won't be in any financial trouble."

It was a man named Flood who whispered that way.

Flood looked strongly appreciative of Setuna by witnessing the battle at the Third Rest. If Setuna is going to help the Knights, the Knights will have no more anxiety in terms of battle power, he believes. To him, too, the Knights' lack of combat seems to be something we can feel. Regardless of the Knights of Izfail who decided that Bain would not move for the moment, he is in a one-touch state with Nair Benoagard and cannot be seen through. Everyone in the knights thinks we need power.

I am saddened by the lack of combat power leading up to the subordinate knight at the end, because during the journey from the third rest stop to Benoa, I had seen the knights training every break. They were trying not to bottom-up the Knights' power at all by building themselves up.

The Knights' courage, their hopes themselves, fell to the ground, but the readiness and determination of each Knight itself seemed to be stronger.

The only reason Setuna has a crush on the Knights is because she has seen those knights being held hostage with this eye.

After finishing lunch, I waited awhile before finally being issued an admission permit to the annex.

"But you made a mistake."

"I don't have a choice."

The annex is a facility where people with albinism are treated. That meant that it was always next door to danger, and no one could have gotten in and out easily. Just enough to manage admission so strictly.

"Well, you're right, but I was wondering if you could be as convenient to Lord Setsuna as you are."

"Don't take it personally because of that convenience."

"Yes, you're right."

Flood led Setuna and the others back to the annex when he suppressed his voice and laughed.

The presentation of the admission card opened the entrance to the annex without any problems. The cloudy skies are even more so, showing signs that it is likely to rain now. I rushed into the annex because of that. I don't have an umbrella. Sometimes I push a wheelchair, and if it rains, I can't help but get wet.

The annex was a small building compared to the main building. Enough to hide in the shadow of a wall surrounding the medical school grounds. One story, and the building itself isn't that big. I guess the capacity is there, but considering the possibility that the annex could be overflowing with patients, it didn't seem like a good idea. Although this may be due to the frequency of albinism and the number of patients.

When I walked into the annex with that in mind, like the main building, the smell of the drug snorted.

As Flood approached the reception at the front entrance of the annex, a man in white standing in front of the reception spoke to him.

"I've been waiting for you, Master Flood. We've heard from the main building."

He is the most intelligent facial figure of a long lean body, and has a temperate expression that attracts him. Is it one of the doctors who works at the medical school?

"Then the story is quick. Thank you for your guidance to the albinism lab."

"Laboratory......?

The doctor and the man looked surprised. Then Flood looked back at this one and showed it by hand.

"This is Lord Setuna and Lord Rem. You know that, right?

"Oh... was that what happened? Now, come here."

The man, looking at Setuna and Rem's faces in turn, was somehow convinced. Rem asks this way.

(What does that mean?

(You'll find out if you go)

Setsuna followed the two of them ahead, thinking that Rem's doubts were the best too. It is not clear that I thought about it. For once, it is suggested that the person and Setuna have some involvement. but there was nothing conclusive.

On the road, I found out that one of the doctors working in the annex was waiting for me at the reception. His first name is Toll-Sign. Thirty-two. Since the establishment of the annex, they have started to focus on the study of albinism and the treatment of persons with albinism. That and this, the doctor waiting in the back.

The albinism lab and the dots seemed to be deep inside the annex. There is a hard-closed door ahead of the hallway, which is wide enough for the two adults to finally walk side by side, turning right at the corner. The door was unlocked and opened with a key taken out of the nostalgia by Toll-Sign, where a banned sign was stuck out except for the person concerned.

"It's this push. I will be waiting for you here, please proceed."

When Toll-Sign shifted his body aside in front of the door, Flood also learned by it to pave the way for the Setunas.

"I'll wait here too."

"To?"

"Are we alone?

It was also natural for Lem to be decent.

"Let's talk about it."

"Get out of my way, 'cause I want to beg you not to be fooled later"

Whatever Flood's concern was, he had a real sense of what the doctor said. He must have been scattered by someone in the lab. But when they say that, they don't know more and more.

"Come on, go ahead"

"Lord Setuna, Lord Rem, you have nothing to worry about."

"I know that..."

"My lord..."

"Go."

"Yes."

Push the wheelchair and step into the back of the door. The narrower passage had no windows, and it was dark. If Dr. Toll-Sign hadn't lit the Demon Crystal lamp for me, I would have had to go through that darkness. As I went down the aisle in gratitude for Thor's care, the pounding door quickly entered my sight.

"Looks like that room."

"Oh."

Who is waiting at the end of the door?

As Setuna approached the door with some anxiety, she heard yelling from inside the room.

"So why does that happen!

The moment I heard that voice, Rem looked back at this one. Nod to a decent look. Well-heard voice. How to yell. My heart trembles. Alive. I'm just glad that's all. Moving the wheelchair aside and touching the handle of the door in the face of even about to cry.

"Here, wait!

"I won't wait."

A familiar yell you hear from inside the room and a girl's voice against it. Setuna never intended, pulled the handle, and opened the door. Large, white-dyed rooms with floors and walls pop into view. A number of desks are equipped with medical, research, and paperwork. Pharmaceutical classes were also found in shelves placed on the wall. It was a sight worthy of the name of the lab. Seeing the two of them running around in such a room, Setsuna looked at Rem and her face.

"So don't run around the lab!

Yelling is a big woman with golden hair tied in one behind her back. She was a fitting beauty in white, her breasts violently shaking as her body moved. It matched perfectly with Maria-Skole in Setuna's memory.

"Isn't Maria running around?"

Running in front of Maria, albeit well, is a girl less than ten years old. Maybe I'd rather have a toddler than a girl. My head looks bigger because of my small body. The hair was black, with a crown knitted with grass flowers on top of it. From a flower petal that blooms beautifully, there is something that confuses the seasonality. The big eyes were still as beautiful as gems, creepy and pathetic. The white coat that matches her little body is irresistibly adorable. Maybe the look on Maria's face that makes her happy while she's chasing her is that she's happy to be chasing her.

"That's because we're after you!

"Hmm, that's okay."

"Oh here's the thing..."

When Maria looked indescribable and dropped her shoulder, the toddler stopped her legs in front of Setuna and the others.

"Mm?"

The big eyes of the toddler girl, who had looked up at this one with a strange face, had a strange color. A rainbow iris indicates that a young girl is not just a thing. At least, none of us should have had such an iris. If I had never heard of it, I had never seen it.

"Looks like you finally noticed."

Maria stops running and stands behind the toddler. Maria hasn't noticed this one yet. I guess I'm concentrating my consciousness on young girls. The toddler seemed interested in the Setunas, not in Maria behind them. I'll ask.

"What are you talking about?

"Huh?"

Maria seems to have finally learned by a toddler's question that an outsider has boarded the lab. The moment he raises the gaze he was pointing at the toddler girl and puts the Setunas in his sight, he runs surprised by the look he was pulling them into.

"Dr. Maria."

"Dear Maria, long time no see"

"Ha..."

Maria collapsed on the spot, staring at Setuna and Rem. With a stunned look on his face, he opens his mouth blindly.

"Ha... oh, my God"

"What is it?

"Lem to Setuna... I knew you were alive"

Tears spread on Maria's cheek.

"Good...... really good......!

Setsuna felt the same way.

Maria was alive and I was able to get back together safely.

I couldn't even describe in words how happy and how touching that was. And my heart was shaken by surprise and emotion in this way, also because Flood and Toll-Sign and others distracted me and kept me quiet, starting with Ozfeld. If I had known beforehand, I wouldn't have been surprised so far.

Of course, the very joy of Maria being alive would not have changed.
