Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand Eight Hundred Nine: Seeking Hope (II)

When we arrived at Knights headquarters, Knights Commander Osfeld Zan-Ward and Deputy Commander Sid Zan-Rufaus were awaiting the arrival of the Setunas.

Although I missed some of the other Knights executives, I gave up that I had no choice. I had already finished greeting Luveris, and Bain is on a mission to Maldia. Rowfa says he's having a busy day traveling to and from Stra Fortress and Sunstrea.

I didn't want to think it was your word just to be able to say hello to both the Knights Commander and the Deputy Commander.

"I was eager to talk about wanting to leave early, but isn't it too soon?"

Sid, when he saw Setuna's face, had gone that way and looked sinister. It seems to him that Setsuna is in a great hurry.

"I hear the empires were returned to the camp within yesterday. I'm not the only one trying to get out of Benoa."

That said, Nina and I were told that it would be okay to slow down for a couple of days because it would take time to prepare for departure.

Setsuna was about to leave Benoa, although she appreciated the care of Nina and the others, who said that she would sometimes talk to the one who took care of her in Benoa, but was driven by hurried thoughts. I can't wait. Of course, it is verbal propaganda, such as keeping fatigue accumulated both physically and mentally, and I know a hundred things that must be put to rest when I can rest, but there is no better way to do it than to stay or stand. It would be a little more distracting to wait for the moment of sailing in the Imperial Army camp than to keep waiting in Benoa.

Such thoughts drove Setuna to leave Benoa today, the day after the talks, during the morning.

I also had to turn to the Knights for help for that, and I could only thank them for arranging a carriage for the trip to the camp.

"The Imperial side makes the cooperation of Lord Setuna essential. It would be more imperial than Lord Setuna's that we should act together. Lord Setsuna, you just have to stay put while Lord Setsuna doesn't get unwell."

Ozfeld is also going to be anxious about Setuna's busyness.

"Dear Ozfeld, Sid, I'm sorry, but my Lord is a troubled man who can't help it"

"Hey."

"After listening to Maria about Lyohan and knowing that Faria and all of you are mourning her husband's absence, your master's heart is searching far and wide for the heavens and earth of Lyohan. If I had wings across the ocean, I would have flown right away... without it"

"I couldn't stay or stand any longer than I gained the means to cross the ocean..."

"Yes, so I thought it would be impossible to stop your husband from doing anything."

"If the people dear to Lord Setuna are waiting, naturally. It's not about apologizing, Lord Rem."

Sid gave me a calm look.

"Lord Setsuna, I'm sorry to distract you, but I'm not in much of a hurry. I am not questioning Lord Setuna's strength, the power of the black spear, but he is driven by haste, and if he loses sight of himself, he is also allowed to give his original strength. Anything that forgets me, no matter how powerful it is, is shot through by an arrow of miscellaneous soldiers. It's about not losing your cool."

"Advice, bear in mind"

"Well, you won't have to advise Lord Setsuna."

He smiled again, smiling bitterly. Sid never stopped smiling in front of Setuna. That is rare, says Flood, etc. Sid Zan-Rufaus is the one who usually makes tannic surfaces and brings together difficult air to get close to, but Sid in front of Setuna seems to be different from the others. I'm not really sure what the reason is. I understand it's because Sid valued me highly about Setuna, but until why it was so appreciated, it was unclear.

Setsuna never thought she deserved the Knights.

The Knights, whose philosophy is salvation, salvation, can be said to be made up of people who can throw their lives aside for the well-being of others. That's how every knight who currently joins the Knights, from the Knights Commander to the end obedient knights, is aware of that.

If all the Knights, for example, gave up their lives, they would gladly give up their lives if people from all over the world were to be happy. The happiness of others is more important to them than their own.

No matter, that's not even possible, even if it's not something you can trust where God has gone like that.

"Indeed, Lord Setuna would not lose his calm under any circumstances. Right now, I'm in a hurry because I want to help the people of the Old Knowledge as soon as possible. Different?

In response to Ozfeld's question, Setsuna was just a little confused. What he's saying fits roughly, but I feel subtly different.

"Do you mean help... I just want to meet you and tell you that I'm alive and well. On top of that, if there's anything I can do, I want to help you. That's what I think."

"After all, you are the bearer of the personality that our Knights deserve for an honorary knight."

Ozfeld seemed very pleased with Setuna's response.

"Because that figure of not looking at self and trying to reach out to others in need is where the Knights Knights should reach"

Sid had a full grin at Ozfeld's admiration.

What a sight to be admired by the two Knights Commanders, Deputy Commanders, but it was this time that I honestly received their accolades and exchanged goodbye greetings with gratitude.

Sid's words that praise from others should be received honestly are deeply engraved on Setuna's chest.

"Nevertheless, it's nothing but luck to us that the means of travel have been available since the problem of Benoagard was cleared up."

It's Flood Zan-Esteban who has been laughing at things like that.

Until the Imperial Army camp on the north bank of the island of Benoa, Flood was to accompany us. On his way from Sunstrea to Benoa, Rowfa Zan-Seivas ordered him to be Setuna's guide was his first encounter with Setuna. Since then, for more than a month, almost every day, we have faced each other with a light-hearted slap or a fierce one in archery. In his battle with the Nea Benoagard army, he lined up his shoulders, and since he saw the power of the black spear, Setuna's reputation in him has fluctuated dramatically.

At first, he has confessed to reflecting that he was looking low about Setuna.

"For me, too, Mr. Flood."

"Ha?"

"If I had got the ship first, I might not have been able to concentrate on Benoagard"

"I see."

"Master Flood, this is your husband's crappy joke, so please laugh it off"

"Ho."

"What is it? What's the joke?"

"Everything. Everything."

Rem, seated in the side seat, has looked into Setuna's eyes with a serious face.

"Where in the world is your master going to do something that throws you halfway through what you took on once?

"... when they say so,"

Setuna was silenced, blinded by Rem's thoughts.

So is that. Even if the Imperial Army landed before the issue of Benoagard was cleared up, Setuna would never have left Benoagard. If we hadn't cleaned up the issue in front of us first, we wouldn't have been able to move on. It always has been. Any time, it should have been. That's who I am. That's who Setuna-Kamiya is.

"Again, I'm glad to see the Knight of Honor."

"Me too, Mr. Flood."

Setuna was sincerely grateful for meeting Flood, and she thought being able to touch his personality would be a great force for her future life.

It was on the morning of the fourth day of February of the continental calendar, five hundred and six, that a team of knights, including a carriage carrying the Setunas, arrived at the Imperial Army camp built on the northern shore of the island of Benoa.

It was unfolding as if the silver world on one side of the perimeter symbolized the Midwinter North.
