Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eleven: The Seawind (2)

"This is... the ocean"

Rem leaked exclamation only after reaching the north side of the Western Imperial Army camp, along the coast overlooking three ships docked in the sea.

Warm sunshine, gentle winds and the sound of waves pouring over the beach seemed to make us forget that we were in the middle of winter. The beach, where the sun's light reflects, shines white, and the waves that pull toward it are also sparkling. Even such a sight was enough to evoke inspiration for Rem, who was born and raised inland in a small group of nations, and she, in a snug way, looked out onto the beach.

"It's a beautiful thing..."

"Right..."

Setsuna didn't want to agree with her.

The three demonic ships dock somewhat far from the beach. The beach is situated a short distance from the Imperial Army camp.

It's a form that responded to Rem's request to see the ocean closer, but even as a setuna, I was just thinking that I needed a change of mood to contain my feelings of departure. Isn't it a bad idea to look out at the sea for that? Such thoughts brought him this far.

Walking along the beach, in the wind.

The sea breeze. The nostalgic smell of the sea fades. I guess the smell of the sea doesn't change that much anywhere.

"Wasn't it rare in the world your husband was born and raised in?

"It was an island country surrounded by sea."

"For me, the ocean was nothing but a story."

"Yeah."

"I've never imagined anything like standing by the sea like this."

Rem had a glimpse of the vast sea view coming from the beach. White and black tones of service clothes are not quite as cute as they look on the beach. But the side of the girl overlooking the sea was so beautiful that she could almost sigh, and Setsuna felt like she had rediscovered her charm. I knew Rem was originally beautiful, and I know that a lot, but when I get used to it, it's something I don't realize. That was made to recognize again by the unprecedented look on his face that he gave to the mundane applause.

Above the head, there is a blue sky that can fall out. I don't see one cloud. Clear. Only the rays of the sun fall in brilliance, piercing the sea surface to increase the brilliance. The sea is shaking in the wind, with countless waves happening. Blue sky. Big sea. View as filled with a vibrant flock of blue. The first sight in Rem's life. It's hard to imagine how much impact you're having on her.

"I'm just staring at it and I'm going to forget that the time stands"

Rem, in a lukewarm manner, said. She seems to like this seaside view. Setuna thought from the bottom of her heart that it was the right answer that brought her here.

"You can always watch."

"Then you'll all be in trouble."

"Hmm?"

"Where have you been?"

"You're gonna be watching this all the time."

Setuna said that Lem's words were strange and stubborn.

I guess that means I liked it as much as I'm not going to get tired of watching it that far.

Setuna decided to hang out with her until Lem got tired of it.

Thus, Setuna and Rem spent not much time after that, relaxing on its beach.

Setsuna felt rested for a long time, and Rem seemed satisfied to enjoy the sea for the first time. He laughed more than anything at Setuna that Rem was satisfied, and as he returned to the camp he heard her talk about the ocean all the time in excitement.

It was dinner time when he returned to the camp, and Rem noticed the smell of cooking before Setuna, which surprised him.

"Sometimes it's rare to notice earlier than your husband."

Rem himself was surprised because Setsuna usually had a better nose, and that was a well-known fact not only for Rem, but for the people around Setsuna. That was the first time I lost to Rem. That too, when it turns out that the smell of the cooking out of the Imperial Army camp was something quite strong, I can't help but be stuck with an extra sense of defeat.

"From now on, rely on my nose. If it's for your husband, you'll be a dog."

Rem looked suspicious when the Imperial soldiers heard the words, although they had been joking. If you only listen to Rem's dialogue, you may receive it as a loathsome one. Regardless, Rem doesn't give a shit about that, or rather, he could have even made such a statement, aware that it would be received that way.

"You..."

Setsuna glanced and saw Lancelot searching around for the two of them, rushing over to him. And we were going to have dinner with Nina, who was waiting ahead of us accompanied by him, where Rem talked about the ocean and called Nina's empathy.

Nina also told him that she had lived a life free of the sea before the Great Destruction, and that if nothing happened like that, she would have ended her life without seeing the sea.

Within the territory of the Zaion Empire, there were never many areas facing the sea. Enciel and others, the majority of whom were landlocked and the territory of Nina, were said to be areas close to the small group of nations, also known as the border within imperial territory. It was a land unrelated to the sea, and Nina didn't even know what Nina's stomach Yelkaim-Karlavia was thinking, which was in such a land but was going through the construction of a super-large ship in top secret.

Yelkaim-Karlavia is the deceased.

Standing on the battlefield as the culmination of all armed summoners belonging to the Imperial Army in the World War, the final battle of the three forces, he allegedly used a formula he called the soldier-costume summons he had uniquely knitted. In view of how the shelling stopped, which is apparently the attack caused by the shelling that drilled a great hole in the Wang capital Gandion, Cain-Vivre probably took Yelkaim. Regardless, it's just speculation, and I think about Nina and Lancelot's heart that seems to have some thoughts about Yelkaim, and Setuna didn't say anything about it. Most importantly, it seemed to me that Nina, Lancelot, had some understanding of Yelkaim's cause of death. I guess the reason I don't mention it is because I recognize that there is no point in going to Setuna and the others about that.

It was the three main forces, starting with the Empire, that triggered the World War. Gandia did not feel the need for Setuna to apologize to the Imperial side for just fighting it and not knowing how much damage would be done to the Imperial side as a result. The Imperial Army is ravaging Gandia territory by the time it reaches Gandion. I imagine how many Gandian soldiers have lost their lives. It's horrible.

Or so I don't even want Setuna to apologize to the Imperial side, etc.

If that battle was the intention of the Empire and Gandia territory was ravaged by the will of the Empire, it is not the story if we are to ask Setuna to cooperate on it, but it has been found not to be the case.

At that time, I can't blame them any more than it turns out that because of one purpose, which has all three forces that besieged Gandion, it was thrust and moved by the gods. I just accused them of something that means nothing.

Setsuna also killed them scattered in that battle. If you kept fighting like that, you would have killed even more, and if the Niewes were on the front line, you would have killed them without hesitation. And if that had happened, a situation like this would never have arisen.

Things like luck during misfortune continue.

The “Great Destruction” that took place when the final war triggered it was an unprecedented catastrophe since history, but in itself it was the result of preventing the worst. To stop the resurrection of the Holy King, the worst end of the world's annihilation was avoided by the Quons risking their lives. For that reason, the Wargrain continent was torn apart, the world changed dramatically and numerous lives were lost, but it is hardly necessary to think that it was more than the world perished away. It would be the same for the one who died for it, but for what lives now, there is nothing more important than the survival of the world.

There are countless lost things, and although the claw marks are still deeply engraved in the heart of one, it is better than the world still perishing and everything that lives and lives is eradicated.

It also means you can't do it if you don't think so.

Anyway, there is no doubt that the “Great Destruction” has had a tremendous impact on each person living in the present.

Nina reached the land after a long voyage because of the Great Destruction.

"The collapse of the world has been so bad that I don't even want to recall it, but I may have to thank you for meeting you"

During dinner, Nina looked at Setuna and smiled bitterly.

"You are a copy of Your Majesty. That will be my salvation."

Setuna also somehow knew what that meant.
