Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Chapter One Hundred Eight Sixty-Eight: The Refugee Problem (2)

The refugees' dwellings were to be made in the flats at the foot of the Lyov Mountains, not in the Lyov Mountains.

Although there was some redundancy in the establishment of the refugee settlement, which would later be named Foothill Special Administrative Region, it would be discouraged. It doesn't matter.

If there is a problem, it would mean that we created Foothill Special Zone, but for that we were to cause a great deal of trouble to the patron saint of Lyohan.

Lyohan has two gods.

One is the god of the present - that is, the goddess of war, Faria-Aslalia, where he is a living person. She was an essential part of Lyohan's life, but she alone would not have been able to enjoy peace.

It is only with the presence of Malik, the patron saint of another pillar that Lyohan is able to gain peace in this chaotic, end-of-life world.

Originally, one of the four great heavenly samurai, the boy known as the armed summoner Malik-Majik, was in fact God, and it was before the “Great Destruction” that he revealed his original appearance. Not long before the battle known as the final war took place, entrusted to the previous goddess of war, Fariah-Baldish, Lyohan's future, he manifested himself as the original God, abandoning his presence as a human Malik-Majik. Since then, Lyohan has been under his asylum.

It is harder to imagine that Lyohan would have been more miserable without the protection of the patron saint Malik, who needlessly had not been affected by the “Great Destruction”. Even if it was smashing the continent, torn apart, it wasn't weird. Where thousands of armed summoners have joined forces, there is no way they can prevent enough power to crumble the world.

Such a burden on the Malik God was due to the need to rebuild the Seven Spirits Guardianship that surrounded Lyohan in order to create a refugee settlement at the foot of Mount Lyov. The Seven Spirits Guardianship was, as its name implied, a guardian kingdom using the Seven Spirits, the family of the Malik God, and was stretched to encompass Mount Lyov. In order to accommodate the Foothill Special Zone within the protective junction, the junction had to be rebuilt and Malik's hand was to be slighted.

"I can't believe Falia won't be able to protect me until one of Lyohan's men."

To a word that could not be taken as Malik's irony or his giving up, Alexei had no words to return.

Upon completion of the reconstruction of the patron junction, countless tents, makeshift houses made of earth, rocks and trees were built on the grounds of the Foothill Special Zone. The construction involved the armed summoners that Lyohan was proud of, and the work continued through the night. I had to hurry. We must accommodate 30,000 refugees as soon as possible. Fortunately, they were put in as a force for the Divine Army. It did not include women and children, nor were there old men with weak ankles. The refugees also actively cooperated in the construction of the Foothill Special Zone, which took shape in about half a month.

Of course, it was a construction for the refugees to rush to prepare a dwelling above the raindrops, which could not be a perfect neighbourhood, but none of the refugees were dissatisfied as one. Thank God Lyohan didn't abandon us, accepted us, and prepared us up to the settlement, something to be thankful for was endless. And Faria's fame for her dedication to refugee relief was no more, people's hopes were on the rise.

Faria, the goddess of war, is the real God - and so forth, not Vashtara, who abandoned herself as a pawn, but the beginning and end of appearance until what begins the new Faria faith.

What actually moved towards the establishment of the Foothill Special Zone, starting with the Mountain Protection Conference, is not interesting.

Most importantly, Faria didn't just give instructions either. She was the one who moved around and persuaded Malik to show the difficulty, and with the power of his mighty subpoena, it was she who speeded up the completion of Foothill Special Zone. It would be something that the refugees just don't have to support if they're just flirting with nothing.

So, isn't Faria working more vigorously than the senators at the Mountain Protection Conference?

(I guess...)

Alexei looked up to heaven in a conference room where no one was left but herself. Alexei loved her granddaughter Faria from the bottom of her heart as her grandfather, and that's why she admits that her appreciation in herself is sweeter than others. Admittedly, I think Faria is doing her duty well enough, and that there are still some things missing. I've been through everything. With experience and repeated successes and failures, we have no choice but to move forward. Of course, in her position, the degree of failure allowed usually differs greatly from that of a person, but this may not be anything other than overlapping experience either.

It would also be a problem to have no one around to flatter her.

No, you're not.

There's nothing I can do about it.

She someday became the bearer of a very stubborn and inconvenient thought. It is not hard to imagine that unlimited strong sense of responsibility for the role of goddess of war, expectations from around her, pressure and other various factors have piled up and become so.

The refugee issue was not resolved by the establishment of the Foothill Special Administrative Region. Rather, that was the problem from there. If that's all you have to do, you don't get up on the agenda and make regular meetings serious.

Of the clothing and lodging, the lodging was resolved. The clothes, too, I managed. But only food made it extremely difficult. Originally, Lyohan's food situation after the Great Destruction was not always fragrant.

The food stored in the reservoir of Mount Lyoff and the food that can be taken in and around the city of Lyohan will support the lives of the citizens of Lyohan. Still, there is nothing wrong with just filling the bellies of the citizens of Lyohan. It is important to be able to secure food in this time of confusion. It is also one of the factors that makes Lyohan stable.

But when it comes to having to share food for 30,000 refugees, it's a different story.

After we have secured food for the citizens of Lyohan, we must consider the meal of the refugees. After a scathing headache, the Mountain Protection Conference decided to liberate the pantry. The liberation of the pantry, which has been tightly closed so far, was supposed to be a last resort for Lyohan, but otherwise it could starve the refugees to death, and it was just decided that it could not be done.

However, given the amount of storage in the pantry nonetheless, it was not always possible to satisfy the refugees' bellies, etc. Meals will be rationed, and that is never too much either. It is to the extent that we wish we could outgrow hunger at all, and although it is far more than nothing to eat, there could not have been a disgruntled refugee showing up there.

The refugees, who initially thanked Lyohan, also eventually began to complain, and those voices grew louder day by day.

Although the Mountain Protection Conference expected such a reaction, it did not change its mind that no more food could be distributed because of it. No matter how much dissatisfaction increases, if we change it there, Lyohan himself will see the fear of collapse. If food is lost, we will starve even the citizens of Lyohan. That's all I can do.

However, when refugees begin to take action to complain to the Lyohan government in Foothill SAR, they will be unable to pass through. It was only a matter of time before the appeal in Foothill District grew bigger and louder enough to finally sweep the refugee-populated area to develop into a demonstration movement and clash with the troops of the Guardian Peak Samurai Corps that were hitting security.

In fact, the troops of the Guardian Peak Samurai Corps, who visited the scene to honor the refugees conducting the demonstration, have been attacked by the refugees and have been forced to fight back.

The uprising by those who received and willed the Lyohan government to counterattack the Guardian Peak Samurai has, since then, made numerous noises in the Foothill Special Zone, each time clashing with the Guardian Peak Samurai, putting out numerous arrests and wounded.

The riot incident that came on the agenda at earlier regular meetings was one of them and the biggest riot to date.

I'm guessing Mordor and Vistendahl used this case as an opportunity to ask Faria to reconsider her thinking. Mordor therefore questioned Vicendahl for his opinion and Vicendahl pursued Faria without fear of the reaction of the citizens. What came back from Faria was an honest argument as a goddess of war, though they seemed to have no words to give back.

(That's a bad sign)

After the conference hall, Alexei turned to the north side of the aerial capital.

As it is, the relationship between the Goddess of War and the Mountain Protection Conference and the Guardian Peak Samurai is only getting worse and worse. And what happens if there is a riot under such circumstances? I don't understand. It's not Faria.

He was on his way to the battle palace to glorify Faria.
