It was not until Mauau, the goddess of the sea, left her hand and some time later that the demonic ship Melissa Noah, carrying the Setunas, shored off to an unknown continent. Although it was the restoration of the hull, including the demonic furnace, that was incomplete, Mauau has sometimes towed me to the shore, where I have been able to land without any particular problems.

Mauau had exposed us to its beauty at sea far away and watched the Melissa Noah succeed on the shore. Successfully on the shore, when a group, another group and the crew landed, disappeared into the sea as if relieved. Setuna saw Mauau by summoning a black spear and thanked him in her heart. Without the help of Mauau, the Setunas would not have been able to reach this continent so well.

"Lord Setsuna, with the help of the goddess, this is how we got there safely, but all we have to do is hope that there is Lyohan on this continent."

Setuna nodded deeply at Rigford's words after landing. If we do not reach Lyohan, we will also fail to fulfil our promises to Rigford and the rest of the Empire. Rigford's aim was to bring Setuna back to the mainland of the Western Empire after Setuna fulfilled her purpose, and Setuna's acceptance of it allowed her to use the Demonic Ship. It is also Setuna's sincere desire to meet one of those in Lyohan, and I can only thank the Ninas for fulfilling that desire, the Western Zaion Empire. Though that was a prerequisite for responding to the imperial demands.

Crossing the bridge from the deck to the shoreline along with Rem, Rigford and others, and landing, construction of the camp had begun by the sailors who had landed earlier. Only the Imperial Navy, which has repeatedly made long voyages and landings, was just how accustomed it is, and the Setunas were talking about not needing to help.

When all Melissa Noah's crew landed, they were divided into two squads by Rigford and others. One, irrespective, is an exploratory squad that carries out surveys of this continent, which it has been decided will involve Setuna and Lem.

Another squad is a defensive squad that stops at the camp and protects the Demonic Ship from the hands of local humans, Imperial Demons, or Divine Men. It was decided that Rigford would join this as commander.

"Is that okay?

"What is it about?

"You're not spying on me directly. You may not come back."

Setuna jokes, Rigford doesn't even laugh, he's stared straight in the eye.

"About Lord Setuna. There's nothing we can do if you want to keep an eye on it. Even Your Majesty was no match for you."

If you say so, you're right. In an attempt to turn how many personnel to Setuna's surveillance, an armed summoner under Rigford would not even be able to contain Setuna. At the height of the empire, it would be different if we put in all the armed summoners who boasted 20,000.

"Where you unilaterally broke your contract with us, we can't blame you for anything more. We just have to trust you. Lord Setuna-Kamiya. My lord, Emperor Niewehein, you have the same soul as His Majesty."

"... you can trust me. I don't want to be the kind of person who breaks a promise."

"Yes, I believe so."

Rigford grinned.

"We will stay here and continue our restoration work on Melissa Noah as we gather information from nearby cities. Lord Setsuna, Lord Rem, please be safe."

"General Rigford, ladies and gentlemen, you're safe."

"Beware of your physical condition"

Continental exploration squads, including Setuna and Lem, left the camp when they wished each other good luck and safety with the remaining defense squads in the camp.

It was the day after landing, and although we didn't even start collecting the surrounding information properly, the Setunas had a definite response.

Early in the landing, Setuna summoned Chaos Bringer and Mail of Doter, looking out over the land from far above the camp. And it turned out that the earth was infinitely vast. It is found that there are large cities northeast of the camp, scattered with cracks in the earth and white lumps raised from the ground that would be due to the effects of “great destruction", and forests that are being attacked by phenomena called crystallization. The information gathered by Setuna was also immediately provided to the Imperial Army, on the basis of which the movements of the Exploration and Defense Squads were determined.

Not to mention the Exploration Squad, but the Defense Squad isn't just caged in the camp. If there are cities in the neighborhood, they must be based there to gather information and obtain supplies, etc. It was a long voyage and Melissa Noah's food was considerably reduced. As it was, it was clear that the voyage to the mainland of the Empire was also irresistible. In addition to food, if anything happened during the next voyage, materials were needed to repair the ship. The repair materials currently loaded on the ship will be almost exhausted during this repair. Although it is difficult to imagine that being shot by a Ship of the Divine Army or something like that will continue to happen, it was possible to be attacked by something else. There may be a god living in the sea like Mauau, or it may be damaged in battle with large imperial demons living in the sea or imperial demons suffering from albinism. When that happens, there's nothing I can do without the materials.

Most importantly, the ship could be left to Rigford and others, and the Setuna Exploration Squad was set to head to the northeastern city as soon as they left the camp. First, we must gather information. If we can find out if there is a Lyohan of goals somewhere on this continent, that alone will bring the achievement of the Setunas' aims closer. It would be the pinnacle of foolishness to wander without even addressing it.

The Exploration Squad is attended by thirty members of the Imperial Army, not Imperial Navy officers reporting directly to Rigford. As for Setsuna, I thought Lem and I were enough, and that was easier to move, but given our relationship with the Western Zaion Empire, we don't want to act with them. Their presence will go a long way towards gathering information and setting up rest points, even if they are useless as a force for war. Rigford was also strict on them to leave the battle to Setuna and Rem and do only what they could.

It would be the result. The Imperial Army soldiers who participated in the expedition squad listened honestly to Rigford's orders and relied on Setuna and Rem when it came to combat, etc., cut nicely and laughed frankly. He seemed to recognize Setuna as a reluctant armed summoner to the soldiers who saw him fight Mauau.

The team leader of the expedition squad was a lieutenant in the Imperial Army and his name was Jade-Mesa. However, it was Setsuna who had substantially mastered the expedition squad, and Jade, when he obeyed Setsuna's will, still showed Setsuna respectfully like a master. Apparently Setuna's resemblance to Niewe is affecting his words and behavior. The Western Imperial Army generals often heard stories about everyone not stopping respecting Niewe as emperor during their camp and sailing journeys.

Everyone praised Niewe for taking the initiative to put a stop to the chaos caused by the Great Destruction and for making it possible to re-establish order faster than anyone else, including the vessels of the Emperor and the fact that Siwelhein had only named him heir to the throne.

It was during the day following that such an expedition arrived in the city northwest of the camp. It seemed as close to the camp as it was when Setuna looked over from the super sky, but that seemed incorrect. I hadn't even imagined it would take a day and a half on foot, and Setuna and the Exploration Squad experienced a light first glimpse. Most of all, none of them were dissatisfied with the extent of the problem.

Setuna and Rem deserve it, but the soldiers of the Imperial Army are going through a long voyage. Not much of a problem, such as a day and a half itinerary. However, because of the fact that the ship kept shaking me for a long time, few things were irritated by the illusion that was on the ground but the ground was shaking, and both Setuna and Rem had to be tormented for some time by that shaky feeling.

Ships are waves.

Ships made of super technology called Demonic Ships are the same, and Setsuna couldn't help but wonder if the Imperial soldiers, who would have been accustomed to the rocking of the ship on longer journeys than their own, were also suffering from the same sequelae. In retrospect, Rigford and other naval officers, naval officers, had shown how indecisive they seemed, which led me to wonder, after all, whether they were the difference between people on a ship from time to time and people who had nothing to do with it.

That was about it, especially when it came to things that would be problematic on the road to the city. You will never encounter the Imperial Devil, or be attacked by an animal with albinism. What a spicy, dark atmosphere it tended to be to just walk through the earth, desolate and transformed because of the “great destruction”, but it was special, something unusual.

Cities are surrounded by thick walls around the outer perimeter, as seen in various parts of the continental small group of nations, but they are still affected by “great destruction”.

Some of the walls surrounding the city have been left half-baked. I'm not just leaving it alone. As a result of prioritizing the repair of other damaged parts, it appeared that only there had not yet been repaired. More than two years after the Great Destruction, it has not been repaired because of various problems.

From the gap between the walls of the city, it seems that there is a similar pattern in the city. There are groups of buildings that have been destroyed by "great destruction" and groups of buildings that have been spared from collapse, and countless tents stand instead of dwellings. It was also a sight I saw in Benoa and Sunstrea.

The "Great Destruction” claw marks still afflict one who lives in this world.

"Where are we going?

"I don't know. I don't look familiar..."

"We don't know either. Well, that should be it, too. If this is Vashtarian territory, or nearby, there is no reason for us to know that we are imperialists"

And it's Jade-Mesa who's been coming. He was a young man with short pruned black hair and blue eyes, but at his age he was way above Setuna and talked about being in front of thirty. He only belongs to the Army, and the forged flesh is not the ratio of Setuna. Although Setsuna also frustrates and drains his body, in his case, he was also mindful of not only increasing his muscles, but also shredding off unwanted muscles. Maintaining enough muscle mass to use black spears is more important than just getting explosive muscles.

"It would be best to go inside and ask one person."

"Right."

Then on the roundabout, heading in front of the main entrance, a heavily armed soldier was waiting.

Just as Rem pre-detected using Reaper. Probably the result of a man in this city who found out about the presence of Melissa Noah, who bordered on the shore, gathering his power in defense. It just doesn't seem like a soldier, an army organization, because no one or he wore different shapes of weapon protective equipment. If you're a soldier, you're wearing unified weapons and protective equipment. However, the thought that you are risking your life to protect this city is conveyed by the fact that you can feel an extraordinary sense of killing and fighting from the warriors in front of those gates. Everyone was staring at Setuna and the others with seriousness. Setuna and the others were armed so that they could encounter hostile beings at any time. At first sight, it is no surprise that they are wary of being suspicious people.

When Setuna and the others approached the gate knowingly, a man dressed in the most lofty armor of the warriors who cemented the front of the gate opened his mouth.

"Stop. If you're going any closer, attack without question"

"Whoa, you're telling me I shouldn't be near the city?

"These are the times. Some will visit our capital in search of a stopover. But there's no place for one southerner than here. And we know you're the ones who landed from the ship."

When told by a man of great armor, Setuna saw the faces of Rem and Jade. It was yesterday that Setuna and the others landed, and it was assumed that they were caught in this city's vigilance net. This is land that was supposed to be inland, and it can't possibly have the means to cross the ocean with it. Suddenly a huge ship came to such a place, and if it had landed and pointed a small but manned number of people at it, it would be inevitable to increase its vigilance.

Regardless, Setuna and the others stopped on the spot, not against the will of the warriors. The purpose of Setuna and the others is to gather information and not to cause disturbances.

"I get it. I obey you. So, what do we have to do to convince you that we're not gonna do you any harm?

"Let me ask you to tell me what purpose you, flying the imperial flag, have crossed the sea. First, then."

Under the alien helmet imitating ghosts, the warrior's eyes were on the other hand increasing sharpness.
