Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-Four: The City of Fighting God (V)

The story was that the martial arts, arguably all the centers of the city called Areutheras, were held almost without rest and every day. I guess there's no lie in Desh's story that fighting is a job for the fighters and watching fighting is a part of their lives for the citizens. The interest of one pushing toward the Central Arena even today was a martial arts match that began at 10 a.m. and was thriving on the topic of the fighters clashing in the Central Arena. Most of all, Setsuna, who knew nothing about the fighter, such as the name of a fighter who could be heard on the road to the arena, flowed from ear to ear and disappeared.

The number of fighters belonging to the Polar Strugglers is not in the dozens. More than a thousand fighters train their bodies day and night and bump into each other in the arena. That's a story about the history that the city of Areutheras has walked through, but I didn't even want to learn more about it. What about the history and status of Areutheras?

Setsuna wants to leave Areutheras as soon as possible, and for that reason she just listened to Warren's request. If Warren hadn't done something to stop him, he would have collected the information on his own and left Areutheras behind within a few days.

A few days.

The Setunas also understand that with or without Warren's pullback, they would have had to be prepared to stay for a few days. Gathering information alone can be time consuming, and if I needed to prepare for a long journey, I might have had to think about going back to the camp at one end. In some cases the squad has to be reorganized. I had to carry things so carefully. In the worst case scenario, we can think of getting lost and shipwrecked in the middle of the continent. Carefully overlapping caution does not mean crossing degrees.

Even with all that prudence, unexpected things can happen.

It is also unexpected, for example, that we are thus held back on the Areutheras.

It was contemplated that the governing mechanism of Areutheras might be interested in the Setunas who came from outside the sea. He came aboard a large ship flying the Imperial Army flag. It was inexorable to invite vigilance, and even if there was a move to explore the purpose of the Empire, naturally. But I never saw it coming to elicit a reaction like Warren's.

Of course, I don't think Warren pulled it off purely for the sake of listening to Setuna's military talks. Exactly. Setuna wasn't that innocent, and she's not stupid. It would be inevitable to assume that there are other thoughts. As for the thought, the shallowness of Setsuna's sight is revealed by the fact that she can't even imagine it at the moment, but that's fine.

Now I had to concentrate on flowering into the military talks with Warren.

Yes, Setsuna was talking to Warren right now.

The reunion with the finest fighters, the leader of the Extreme Rigorous Fighters as well as the substantial ruler of this Areutheras, was a shame. Entering the central arena while being guided by Desh, he is directed to a special viewing room on the third floor of the arena, not to the commander's office. A special viewing room, as its name suggests, is a viewing room for guests, such as government dignitaries, and is isolated from the general viewing room. Covered with walls and ceilings on all sides, the front was vitreous and made to overlook the arena. Several rooms were available upstairs and on the third floor, and Warren was waiting in one of the rooms on the third floor.

Warren wanted to blossom into the military talks while watching the fight there, and when Setsuna walked into the viewing room, led by Desh, he urged Setsuna to take a window seat with a full grin.

The 3rd floor viewing room, although it is specially made, is difficult to say that it is never large. As a result, it was not possible for all of the expedition teams led by Setuna to enter the room. The Imperial Army soldiers, with the exception of Setuna, Rem and Jade, were taken to the viewing room upstairs.

Setsuna wasn't the only one who was relieved by that. Their direct boss, Jade, is sincerely concerned when it comes to the treatment of his subordinates, and when he finds out they are treated equally politely, he shows a reassuring bare gesture to see.

Then Setuna sat in a chair, prompted by Warren. One side is the side of the vitreous window. The inside of the circular arena extends forward. There is a space in the center for fighting, and the audience seats are arranged to draw its outer perimeter, circles. A solid step is set so that the rear audience can also see the fight. Although the audience was not full, about half seemed to be filled. If this is all buried on a weekday morning, wouldn't it be enough success as an entertainment?

I don't know how cost-effective it is.

"My Lord Setuna will want to hear from you right now, but you will listen to my request first. Are you sure?

"Yeah, that would be the deal."

"Hehe. I'm glad Lord Setsuna is a good man."

"If you don't listen to me, I hope you let me follow you."

"No way."

Warren didn't break his grin on Jade's trivial remarks, but Desh, standing beside him, frowned. Jade doesn't take such a senior fighter's reaction for an object. I guess the liver sits just as a lieutenant in the Imperial Army.

"Except if you have a fighter that rivals that legendary black spear, fortunately, because there are no such fighters. You can't imitate it."

"Fortunately?"

"You don't have to fight Lord Setuna. Don't call this lucky, what do you want?"

"... I see"

"The many legendary activities that Lord Setuna has built up so far are, of course, familiar to me, to all the fighters belonging to the Extreme Rigorous Fighters. A hero who has lifted Gandhia to power. I'd like you to know how active it is."

I'm not the only one who's active.

"That kind of humility is boring."

"... it's true"

Nevertheless, rethinking that it might indeed be a disgusting way of saying it, Setsuna proceeded to talk in a way that responded to his question, as Warren wished.

Warren-Roon seemed to grasp all the history of the battle Setuna has been spinning up in Gandhia. He has surprisingly spoken from Setuna's role in the Kalan Fire. Setuna, speaking to the best of her answers, was paying attention to the exuberance of the arena.

Judges and qualitatively dressed figures appeared on the playing field, and one of the audience members screamed something out of his mouth. The third-floor special viewing room seems to be highly soundproofed, and the referee was not heard at all, nor was the audience cheering. However, the fact that the audience is in a state of excitement despite being before the start of the game also comes from the fact that the special viewing room is slightly shaken. The excitement that the central arena rocked seemed to envelop the audience.

There are multiple arenas, large and small, on the Areutheras. You can understand how this city is dyed by combat, because all of its arenas are open as they are every day and fighting takes place. As Desh said, fighting is everything in this city. That's why the general public has been pushing to the arena in the morning to make a heartbeat jump in the fighters' battle. It's not something you can't think of in a normal city, or if that's a normal city, it's nothing strange or anything.

Nothing seems odd to the outsiders, Setuna, but if they were born and raised on Areutheras, this must have been what they thought was natural.

It is the sight now being played out in front of Setuna and the others that is the normal and common sense of Areutheras. Everything that comes from elsewhere brings common sense is wrong.

Follow the town if you enter it.

Setuna concentrated her consciousness on her story with Warren, remembering those words.

Setuna's task lies first and foremost in satisfying Warren. Satisfying him is what sets Setuna up for.

For that reason, I didn't even hate to make fun of my war history.
