Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode One Thousand Nine Hundred and ninety-five: Dragons and Man (XIV)

The man who appeared at the negotiating table named himself Quon-Kamiya.

That man, who was head of the Knights Temple of the Church of Vashtara, had a strange soul sound.

Ramles is a pillar of the Dragon King of the Three Kingdoms.

It is a being called a reincarnated dragon, and even if it loses its flesh, it is allowed to resurrect as much as possible. The flesh, so to speak, is only the provisional first vessel, and it is no exaggeration to say that the soul is the body. And he could see the colour of his soul through the eyes of the Dragon King and hear the sound of his soul by the ears of the Dragon King. Doing so gives you a deep insight into them, but not the kind of power you use on them.

Compared to the fact that many dragons have a certain sound, a certain color, human beings have a wide variety of sounds, a wide variety of colors. I guess that diversity makes it hard to capture a species called man, but that's why there's no point. Whether it's a lot of impurities or because it's originally that way, in any case, it's not how we can do this with the power of the Rambless.

There is no great significance to such an opponent in trying to observe the colours and sounds of his soul, using the eyes and ears of a dragon. Anyway, it's often hard to understand colors and sounds. If it sounds comfortable to him like a dragon, there's still nothing to gain from what I've seen, such as a soul that emits an unpleasant sound that just pollutes his ears.

But not if you're negotiating with them.

It was important to know where the soul was as they explored what the other person planned and what it was intended for. Even if they had a color or sound that was difficult to understand, if only they could see it, because even if they heard it, it would reveal whether they were harmful or malicious towards the Ramless.

Therefore he saw the soul of Quon-Camiah, and heard the sound of his soul.

The tone emitted by a soul of pure whiteness was like nothing Ramles had ever heard from man before. It is a melody that makes you feel the flow of a long time, such a tone as if his very soul had lived the time to this day far beyond the other. The tone, reminiscent of the flow as it continued to be spun with continuous cotton, made him listen and silenced him for a while.

Needless to say, I jerked off the dragons watching the negotiating place, but there was no way Ramles cared about that. What matters is the fact that it turns out that he has no intention of causing harm to the Ramles as far as the sound and colour of Quon-Camiah's soul is concerned, in negotiations with Quon-Camiah.

And more importantly, it meant that he was the owner of a strange soul that made Ramles feel a long time away, and that gave Ramles room for thought. If Quon is the negotiator, maybe I can lend him an ear.

That's what he decided just hearing the sound of his soul for a reason.

Humans lie plainly. If it is in your own interest, you will break your promise as a matter of course, and you will not be evil about it. There can be no such thing as faith, and Ramles recognizes that he is a creature full of falsehood and deception. Every word that comes out of your mouth can come to fruition in the next moment with nothing.

In my mouth, I can say anything.

Quon is here as a representative of the Vashtara Church. As a Vashtara Church, it would be impossible to bow your head to a dragon, but for the sake of negotiation, you can do whatever you want. Rambless and easy enough for the "Dragon's Nest” to work with the Church. That's the creature called man. And it's the humans who betray the Rambless where they are alarmed.

But souls don't lie.

If you can even foresee the color and sound of your soul, no matter what kind of ruse they are, you don't make sense. Because malice and harmfulness, which can be masterfully covered up in words, are things that honestly manifest themselves in the depths of the soul. So when Ramles saw and felt Quon's soul, he was willing to listen to his negotiations with him.

Quon's soul has no harm, no malice.

Though it was too early to determine if I was going to believe it, I didn't have to doubt it. At least it deserves more credibility than the dragonist humans who just rely on the power of Ramles and others. Yes, he thought.

And at the negotiating table with Quon, he listened to every word of Quon, knew what he was thinking, and asked what he had visited here for.

Quon's visit here as a representative of the Vashtara Church was for a simple reason.

Here, the dragons of the "Dragon's Nest” are active, because stories of desolation in Vashtarian territory have struck the Holy City of Laidion and the Church humans, headed by the Divine Son, are anxious. If the dragon's activity becomes active, that's all the damage to Vashtarian humans. A dragon is a mighty and incomparable being, and even a mere Cheng Long, no, even a child dragon, is not the opponent against whom human beings are enemies. No matter how much the Knights of Vashtara Church strengthen and pride themselves on immense force, they don't have the strength to fight dragons equally against their opponents.

As for Vashtara Church, if the dragons of the "Dragon's Nest” will be quiet, then fine, otherwise, we will have to raise a crusader in full force. Quon's visit to the negotiations as a representative of the Church was to avert the latter, albeit nonetheless. If you raise a crusading army, the conflict between the Church and the "Dragon's Nest” can be decisive and a state of war. Nor is that necessarily a battle in favor of the Vashra Church, the Vashtarian community, and if the Ramles-led "Dragon's Nest” joins hands with Langwyn's “Dragon's Garden," it could be a blind situation.

The Church ordered Quon to become a messenger of negotiation in order to prevent such a situation from falling into sight. Quon laughed at the fact that he had to let him conclude negotiations with the Ramles at any cost and that he was a life-threatening one. If negotiations are not concluded, we must fight here as dead soldiers. Where the Quons were willing to die and fought, there's no way they could have fought the dragons led by Ramles. I guess that's why he mocked himself, but his honesty like that made Ramles like it all a little bit.

And more importantly, because I also found out that his true intentions are not there.

Kuon said he visited the “Dragon's Nest” to bring Ramles into his comrades. Ramless just doubted his sanity and wondered if he was just a lunatic. It's not a sanity shack.

"Are you serious? Son of man."

"Yeah. I mean it."

He didn't just laugh then. It was as if it were going to stare straight at the rambless and show off the colour of its transparent glow of soul. It's insane. Really, really, with the intention of bringing Ramles into the comrades, he showed up at the negotiating table. That was a great jeopardy to his position, which was supposed to be himself serving the supreme god Vashtara. That's why Ramles advised.

"You will betray Vashtara."

And the Church is not the kind of organization that forgives traitors. It's an organization that has completely eliminated heretics and infidels. It was their way of destroying the traitors to Vashtara after imposing a thorough punishment. Neither can his safety be guaranteed by his status as Commander of the Temple Knights.

"I don't know."

"I don't know, what?

"If Vashtara is a necessity for this world, I'm going to use it a lot. But if the Vashtara God is the fierce poison that erodes this world, we must at all costs exclude it. That's what I think."

"Except for God..."

Ramless narrowed his eyes. It is difficult to comprehend such words from the mouth of a human being. God can be called being in a different realm of man and dimension. If you can't physically eliminate it, I'm glad to say that you don't even know how to stand up to it. But Kuon's bluffing is serious in itself.

"My hope is to bring peace to this world. For that matter, be it God, or Demon, but only destroy equally"

"It's a human thing."

Ramless was just shuddered. It's too big a language. No matter how serious he is about it, there is nothing more ridiculous.

"What can you do with your strength? You think God can destroy you? You think you have the power to fight God equally?

"At least I was able to disable your magic that would bring you to God."

"... is that your power?"

"And the connections that cover this negotiating place,"

That said, he looks around. Ramless, once again, narrowed his eyes. Indeed, this blue and blue seat was overshadowed by a powerful and incomparable junction. The power to differ from dragon language magic in principle has been confirmed that having his dragon language magic is not frightening. It is also clear from the lack of a sense of divine authority that it is not the protection of God. So what the hell is the power?

It is not magic lost from human history.

If so, there was only one thing I could think of. I guess it's the power of armed summoning that's been buzzing the alley for the last few decades. I can't think of anything else. But even so, it's a hell of a force. I have heard that armed summoning possesses mighty power, but I never heard of it, such as the story that even the magic of the Ramles can create a disabling junction.

"For what?"

"Not all the Knights of the Temple have obeyed my will. When asked, it's just not good."

When he looked back, he let him gag at his shoulder. Apparently, this junction was meant to prevent audio from leaking externally. That's why I don't feel harmful.

"I see. You're thinking about it too. I'm relieved."

"I'm surprised you're worried."

"A madman like you, I can't help but worry about me... but I'm interested"

"Interested…?"

"Your soul is beautiful. I don't think it's human. But you're human. Nothing but humans. There can't be enough power to challenge God. Yet you do not doubt your victory. You don't seem to be losing your eyes because of the madman... do you have a chance?

"I'm certainly a weak person, but I'm not alone."

"That's not the answer."

"I have one person who can help me."

"There's no way you can be human, like a god killer."

"Yes, you can."

Quon has said it without any further ado.

"He would, I'm sure"

It was a long time before Quon found out that a person such as him was Setuna-Kamiya, and then a long time ago. Because at that time they were only informed that the person was the user of the Demon King's wand. In one word, however, Ramles found and relieved that Quon was not possessed by madness, but thought and judged things with utmost calm.

Indeed, the wand of the Demon King would destroy God as well.

However, if we can fully draw on that power, we are talking about.

"I'm not worried about that. Because no human being is as tough on himself as he is."

Quon praised the Demon King's wand as such. Ramless was starting to want to know about the person he would rate, either because he really liked Quon at that time, or because he believed in Quon's rating.

Why did you like Quon?

It's a simple reason.

He had no reason why the Dragon King of the Three Kingdoms, Tarumless, would not favour this world over fidelity to God, if he were the Apostolic Knights Commander of God, but never spoiled in his capacity.

Once, the Dragon King of the Three Kingdoms was the administrator of Iles Valle.

Even though that power has now been lost, it still remains unchanged in my thoughts on the world. I hate it enough to throw up backwards, like the gods of the other world who don't even think about the world. It was also impossible to be willing to lend a hand to Quon, who is even looking at destroying such gods.

In order for Quon to serve its purpose in the future, it is now necessary, first and foremost, to connect the “Dragon's Nest” with the Church's Reconciliation.

Ramles became aggressive in his negotiations with Quong, even though he thought he had to struggle with persuasion to Ufiria, the families below Kenan Eusnal.

And Ramles, who liked his boldness in wanting to put even rebellion against God into perspective, but for which he was willing to use even the power of the Dragon King, suggested to him face-to-face with Ufiria.

I have no idea that that would alter the fate of him and his daughter.

He just thought about Ufiria.

Ramless did not want her to bring humans closer in kindness to be proud of being a dragon. On the other hand, however, as a cordiality, we also had to admit that she was essentially human and wondered whether we should eventually release her into human society.

I was thinking only of the happiness of Ufiria.
