Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Lesson Two Thousand Twelve Ancient Libraries (II)

"One thing, I have a question, can I ask you something?

Maria asked Azmaria, ignoring the black appearance of the ancient library, also forgetting to freeze in the cold. Standing in the darkness, the black hall is, at first glance, as interesting as the Temple of Ambush. I don't know where it is, but it seems like it. Hard to get close, heavy air surrounds the entire hall. I'm going to step into it now, but it took courage. Maria was originally fearless, but she had such a strange feeling that she would butt in.

"Ask me anything I can answer."

"How am I supposed to disappear?

"Amara."

When Maria stared at the girl in her arms, she just wolfed, too.

"But yesterday..."

"I don't..."

"Answer me!?

Maria was stunned by Azmaria, who seems to be arming herself. Because it was an unexpected reaction.

"If I serve my purpose, I will disappear from this world."

"What's the purpose of that?

"Haven't you heard from Setuna?

Azmaria turned this way and glanced at Azmaria. A golden eye emitted an unusual light in the evening.

"I am here to dispel the irrationality that overshadows this world"

"Irrational..."

"I finally know what that is. It's ironic that you should be thankful for that day when you struck a ruinous wedge into the world."

Azmaria went so far as to convince one, but it was refreshing to Maria and the others about what was going on. Amara and I look at each other and shake each other's heads.

"Anyway, let's go inside. The story would be better from then on. You seem to have a little bit of the cold."

"It's not a little bit."

"Oh yeah, it's going to freeze too cold!

"If the Spirit gets icy, it's going to be a little quiet though"

"All of you!"

"You want to shut up, don't you?

"I don't know, hobby, but, well, fine. It's trivial."

Azmaria approached the entrance to the library as she stood, showing her shoulders flaunted, whether she had truthfully received Maria's words. Maria follows Azmaria with Amara in her arms.

Deep in the crystallized forest. As a matter of course there is no single human child, there is not even any indication of organisms such as non-human animals or insects. Crystallization is the same as death. Forest of Death. There can't be anything living in a dead forest, and if there's nothing bird beasts can get into, it can't even be a dwelling place. Not even the Imperial Devil would want to live in a crystallized forest or anything like that. Even more so if you're human.

It was no surprise that the library that emerged in the middle of such a forest was left untouched.

If this were the vicinity of Lyohan, it would have been discovered by a peripheral area survey and examined internally, but from the mouthfeel of Azmaria, it is apparent that this is not the vicinity of Lyohan. If it's Lyohan's eyes and nose, it should be like that for Maria. Lyohan has many acquaintances with Maria. Some people I know in Lyohan. Just because Lyohan is nearby doesn't make him feel safe. There is no way that a surrounding person like Azmaria would forget to tell you about it.

Even though it was the territory of the same Vashtarian community, it may be on a very different continent than the one in which Lyohan exists.

Vashtarian power zones are said to have been divided into Mitsu continents. Lyohan is in one of these continents, Central Vashtaria. If the current location is the eastern or western Vashtarian continent, it means that Lyohan is on the other side that separates the sea.

As Maria continued after Azmaria with that in mind, the huge doors of the library opened with a sound. It was a huge door. That is so much to wonder if it fits the height of the giant, and maybe that's why the library itself is so huge as to storm heaven, Maria imagined.

It's an ancient library.

It may have been made far back in time, when giants were flourishing. The architectural style was completely unfamiliar. First of all, it was not Vashtarian, nor is it as seen by Lyohan.

Stepping into the library following Azmaria was so dark that nothing could be seen, that Amara hugged Maria's neck so hard.

"I don't see anything."

"Don't guide me."

The flash ran in front of Maria, wondering if she heard Azmaria's voice from a little further away. It felt like lightning, I guess, because of the light pouring out of my head. Shortly after surprise, it turns out that's the lighting in this library. It must be like a demonic crystal lamp. The history of demonic crystal lamps is shallow, about the last hundred years, but it's no surprise that something similar was there long ago. The Magic Stone itself dates from the time of the Holy King.

The lighting seemed to be in a translucent vessel provided on a black ceiling. The light projected from it is not as chilling as a demonic crystal lamp, nor dazzling as it may be. It was just the right light for the atmosphere in the library.

The light illuminated a room surrounded by black painted walls, ceilings and floors. The columns were also painted black, and I thought you shouldn't see anything in the street. Together with the darkness, one would not be able to discern the pillars from the darkness in the coarse vision.

It must be the front door of the library. Some were like receptionists. It is so small that it is not comparable to the entrance door that it appears to be made for human use. However, the door leading to the back must be similar in size to the front door and the interior must be built to the same size.

"It got brighter, but everything was black."

Let's go in the back.

"Mm..."

You thought Amara was ignored by Azmaria, she glanced at her back, but Maria didn't even fit in. Even if I care about Amara, I can't go on.

The door that leads to the back was Mitsuzu, and there was one giant door that should also be used for giants, and two large doors for humans. Did man use the great door of man or not?

Azmaria opened the door to the giant. The demons waited for the Marias to dive through when they gently opened the black door, which seemed to weigh as well. The dive through had become a huge space. The uninterrupted immensity of the exterior of the ancient library appears intact, or should I say. The apex of the hemispherical ceiling is so distant that it can't even be seen in the eyes of a normal person. And the amount of light that it can feel fills a vast space.

Countless lighting fixtures are installed on walls and ceilings, all of which cast light. Illuminated by those enormous amounts of light, like the front door, was a large hall filled with black, and its circular interior lined with enormous quantities of bookshelves, so much so that I wondered if they would be volumes of books or astronomical figures.

Even the labyrinth created on the bookshelf has a structure, but its bookshelf and the aisle itself made of bookshelves are wide. It matched the width of the Giant Door, and made me imagine that there would still have been Giants and Things to Think of at the time this library was used. However, all the books stored on the bookshelf were large enough to fit into human hands and seemed too small for giant hands.

Anyway, everywhere I looked, it was all bookshelves, bookcases lined up over vast layers of space, and besides rolling over to fill my sight, Maria was often dazed. It's a tough business to find the books you're looking for. No, in the first place, I'm not even sure if it's a book written in a common language. It's like an ancient library. Isn't it just books written in ancient languages?

Vaguely thinking about that,

"As I said, this library was sealed by the Holy King about five hundred years ago."

"... why again?

"You must have feared the misuse of the information gathered here"

"Abuse?"

"It's like, for example, a means of countering the Holy King would be established based on the information here"

"Who cares enough to summon even the gods?"

"That's how cautious I am, that made me holy emperor."

"... I don't know about that"

"Most of all, I was betrayed by the bellies that put my faith in me, and I was defeated after a limited period of time, so the prudence and doing of it is not a big deal. Now there was only a seal that could be lifted by my power. If the Holy King cared, he could have tied a stronger seal, but he didn't."

Azmaria shakes her head.

"Well, anyway, it's a tightly sealed place. It's not something I found out what's inside. You should be careful."

"I was careful, hey"

"Be careful, it doesn't seem necessary."

As Amara jumped out of Maria's arms, she tried to step on the spot with her feet. I guess I checked the feel of the floor. I can't wait because every single one of those tricks of hers is pathetic. Amara, convinced by the feel of the floor, rushed over to the bookshelf lined up on the right edge of the aisle with sogginess. She's doing everything she can to help Maria.

"I don't know what it is."

Azmaria flaunted her shoulders to see how Amara wasn't nervous, I guess.

"I, too, have a vague memory of this library."

"Memory?"

"Somewhat, it's in my memory that I was able to unseal it. And I thought I might find what you were looking for here. As far as I'm concerned, your research has borne fruit and the establishment of therapy after albinism is something I'd like to welcome, even if it's not about Setuna."

"So you're expecting us, huh?

"That's the thing. But I can't help it. I don't know how much you are the world's leading physician, but you can't afford it."

"... thanks for the advice."

Maria glanced at her left hand wrapped in gloves. About two months ago, it suddenly developed at the base of her pinky finger, which is still breathing to mock her will. That part is no longer only in her flesh, not hers. A different kind of life, a different kind of being, dwells there, plotting to erode her flesh every day.

The rate of progression of albinism is not necessarily constant. I can't even look at the symptoms and judge them. There is little change from the time of onset, but it is possible that the entire left hand will be white eroded by tomorrow.

So Maria had to hurry.

We have to establish a cure for albinism as soon as possible, no, as soon as every minute.

Otherwise, this life ends in vain.
