Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode Two Thousand Twenty-six: Hope and Despair (2)

Life in the Ark was just a little boring.

First of all, even if you look outside, there is a big point that the scenery continues to be the same.

The Ark is flying. It was also far above the clouds, and even looking under the eyes from the windows and decks everywhere, it was often only the sea of clouds that could be seen. Even if I could see the earth, it was too far away, and though magnificence is what I can tell, nothing more. Not many things are worth seeing, such as the vastness of the Great Sea Plains, the size of the continent, the condition of the islands, but that's all.

Only in the beginning did I narrow my eyes to the beauty of the night sky.

Going above the clouds meant I could see the starry sky closer to the ground at night. But it was nothing more than the airborne city of Lyohan, and I could only understand how Lyohan existed at heights. Regardless, that doesn't change the value of the starry sky. Nevertheless, it makes no difference that it is a sight to be seen at any time in Lyohan. And there's nothing more irreplaceable than the night sky. At night, the initiative to go out on deck and talk with a view of the starry sky was also quickly abandoned.

There are several facilities on board.

A bow observation room with a view of what's going on outside the ship. A library that randomly threw in books bought in on the Areutheras. The training room boasts a hardness that can withstand the use of summoning weapons. Shipboard gardens with blooming seasonal flowers, etc.

Those establishments were created by the goddess Mayuri, incorporating the unconscious hopes of the Setunas, and not originally wanted to be prepared for the Ark. Whenever the Setunas used those facilities, they couldn't help but think of the care of the Mayuri God. Because ark life, which tends to get boring, can also make some difference with the presence of those facilities.

It was the reality of life in the Ark that could be dominated by boredom if you didn't force yourself to make a change.

"I thought it was fantastic and lovely on the sky."

And so on and Miliu leaked his sigh three days after the Ark journey began. In the afternoon, as the ark proceeded to tour just above the vast cloud sea, Setuna and the others were taking time for a regiment in the bow observation room after a lunch prepared by Gaine-Rijul.

This is one of the few advantages of boring ark life. This means that we can discuss it closely with Miliu and the Phalia, and that is something that I am glad to say is essential to filling in the blank time for the last two years or so of separation.

In addition to Setsuna and Miliu, the bow observation room brings together everyone aboard. Falia, Rem, Elina, Elina's mother, Mireille, Gain, and Dalks. Though Darks doesn't eat, he shows his face in these places as much as he can. I guess that's because he has the consciousness to be one of these Ark people. Otherwise, they shouldn't even try to get involved.

Of course, Mayuri, God is not here because he cannot leave his place. For this reason, Miliu frequently asks the power room about the Mayuri God and distracts the goddess from her loneliness. Is such Miliu's care due to her spiritual change, or what she was supposed to have with her? Probably the latter. Miliu was admired by Merrill-Ragnahorn and Asla-Bunel and others. Does that mean, in other words, that one of her original beings deserves admiration? As far as my involvement with Elina is concerned, I know the goodness of taking care of her deserves to be at the top of the list, even around Setuna. That's probably what her personality keeps her lonely goddess from letting go.

"Hey... I feel like I've been dreaming a little bit more"

Agreed while Faria kept the tea utensil at hand.

"I am just so happy to be with you again"

"Me too!

"What are you talking about?"

I shook my head like Miliu was exhausted. And stare at Rem.

"That's a big premise, isn't it?

"Yeah, yeah."

"Well, was it? I am..."

"I don't know... what?

When Miliu turned to his surprise, Rem confessed lightly.

"I was wondering if you and your husband could be alone."

"Oh, no, no, no, no!

"I'm too upset to be a star."

"Upset!? What am I upset about?

"You're upset no matter where you look, Master"

"Until Elina......!

Miliu pissed off his shoulder in such a way that he was not angry. Nevertheless, it is not powerful. Because I'm not really mad at you.

"I don't want to be alone with Setsuna. I just want to be alone with you!

"I think so."

"That's like denying yourself if you deny it over there..."

"Hehe... well, yeah"

"You're right."

"You all love your brother, don't you?

"... oh, oh"

Although Elina asked me to agree, it was just then that I clouded my words not knowing how to respond.

Suddenly, a violent vibration rocked the bow observation room. The entire ark was struck by such a shock that Setsuna, who was sitting in a chair on the side of the ship's window, was about to fall. I heard a tea apparatus crack and screamed. If you looked around you without knowing what had happened, countless small tables and chairs had fallen and tea utensils broken by the impact of the fall were scattered across the floor. Fortunately, nothing seemed injured, but everyone had their eyes round the sudden events, and nobody seemed to understand one thing at all.

"Hey, what!?

"Hostile attack?

"Then there must be a prior warning from Master Mayuri"

"Well, I guess so."

Setuna had no words to return to Rem's sober judgment.

"Brother, out the window!

"Huh?"

I immediately respond to Elina's screams and look out the window making sure she sticks her face to the ship's window. The bow observation room was equipped with a number of large boat windows to look out of the boat, so that the out-of-board anomalies could be found in hand. Yes, something strange was happening. The cloud sea is swirling hard. No, it's not. It is the Ark itself, not the Cloud Sea, that is swirling.

"This is..."

"You mean you changed course, right? Why again?"

Miliu opened his mouth to Phalia's question.

"We're talking about Mayuri. Then we were just talking about going straight, right?

"... that's what Mayuri said"

"Yeah. Definitely."

Miliu's word full of certainty is comforting and reliable. Nothing speaks to the goddess Mayuri more than she does. As for the Ark, Miliu should be familiar with Mayuri's followup. It's usually impossible, such as the sudden change of course Mayuri would have affirmed. Mayuri had the discipline to talk to Setuna and the others, no matter what trivial matters. That's why Setuna and the others had abandoned their doubts and concerns about Mayuri, and they were relieved. We can only assume that the change of course we have come here has nothing to do with Mayuri's will.

If so, there is one cause.

"... you mean that"

Setuna chewed her teeth, understanding that only one anxiety had taken centre stage. As for the possibility of that happening, it was something I was thinking about scattered, and I recall that things have been going too well so far.

"What are you talking about? Tell me if you're not convinced."

It's Mayura.

"To?"

"I see..."

"I can't think of anything else. Mayura woke up and changed course."

"Why, why not?

"I don't know. Does it happen to be a coincidence, or is it just like Mayura planned?"

Even to the Mayuri God, is the awakening of Mayura something that doesn't even know the signs? Or did the Mayuri God know and not speak to the Setunas? I'd like to think that's not supposed to happen, but I don't know what one thing really is.

"Whatever, you'll run into him directly and ask him. We'll talk about it later."

Setuna grabbed her fist and glanced out the window. We all have no idea where the Ark is headed.
