Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World
Episode Two Thousand Two Hundred and forty-five: Postwar Processing
It was in the middle of the night on May 3rd that the Allied forces, who had been handling the war on the battlefield site near Malwale, received the winning news on the Logner side.
Both the Provisional Government Army and the Imperial Army continued to be pursued for post-war processing, since the battle against the Nea Gandia Army near Malwale was curtained by the Allied victory. Although the victory was good, the losses were enormous for both armies, especially the Imperial Army, where more than half of the soldiers had lost their lives and the number of casualties, countless. It was a difficult heavy labor simply to collect the bodies of the war dead, and the Allied soldiers, who were able to end the fierce battle with their final thoughts, were also in a situation with their heads. Even though the death toll alone was enormous, there were also a considerable number of serious injuries, including those of minor injuries, undoubtedly amounted to more than 10,000, and post-war processing was thought to take a huge amount of time.
The Imperial Army, in particular, was breathing when it preserved all the remains of the dead and sent them to the mainland of the Empire to show them, and that was what caused the postwar processing not to proceed as late as possible.
By the way, preserving the body itself is by no means difficult. Since the establishment of preservation techniques using demonic crystal stones, it was even easier to deliver the remains of soldiers who had died in the war in the distance to their home countries. Of course, it wasn't always easy because only the number of corpses required a magic crystal stone, and it wasn't easy to carry. As long as we can secure the number of Demonic Stones, we can preserve the body for a long time without corrupting it. The Imperial Army seems to want to take as many soldiers' remains back to their country as possible and deliver them to their families.
That will be the case when it comes to at least responding to soldiers and their families who lost their lives in strange exotic countries, but it is not something anyone can do. It meant that Leng-Fonefel, the commander of the Imperial Army, thought so much about the soldiers, and it was one of the events that could be seen that he was admired by the soldiers as commander.
The Provisional Government Army is the Provisional Government Army, which is preparing to transport the bodies of the war dead to the Dragon House, and this one is not because it was influenced by Leng. Originally, soldiers of the Provisional Government Army were scratched from all over Zalwarn. It was not impossible to find out the identity of the carcass and later, to send it to the family. At the very least, there is a huge difference in difficulty from the Imperial Army, which needs to cross the Great Sea Plains.
The command of the Provisional Government Army lies, as it stands, with Eryl Alm, the Allied General. Eryl Alum was at the mercy of the entire army after the war and while resting, he was on the run for post-war processing.
Faria had been forced to rest, along with Sheila, who was exhausted by the battle. I really wanted to help Eryl Alum, but that's not how I was so exhausted of myself and my mind. Faria said the building and maintenance of Aurora Storm Crystal Bit's defensive junction became decisive, and Sheila seemed to be overburdened by Heart of Beast Ninetail activation and white-haired nine-tailing. Eryl Alum, too, should have been exhausted by the use of the Soul of Birds, but he didn't even show a tired bare gesture because of his willingness or sense of responsibility for being appointed general general, and he was in the aftermath.
Faria and Sheila, who couldn't even keep an eye on Eryl Alm like that, jumped up that it wasn't if she was resting, because in the middle of the night, the Dragon God stepped down with a thunderous noise. The dragon god Hasakarau is on his way to Logner Island with Setuna, and his return only means that some progress has been made in the battle for Logner Island. These are the Phalia who, exhausted, did not care about the situation on Logner Island. When Dragon God stepped down looking for Sheila, he was popping out of the tent where he was resting.
Under the starry sky also a distant night, the giant body of the dragon god Hasakarau looked much smaller than it did in battle. The Dragon God, who was supposed to be dozens of times more proud of himself than man, was about twice as big as man, even if it wasn't enough to rush through heaven. To go with it, the dragon necks on his back are smaller as well.
Even Sheila just couldn't seem to hide her surprise at that, and she raised her doubts first.
"Why are you getting smaller?
"It's a matter of convenience."
"It's convenient."
"My immense is nothing more than to fight you, Sheila. To fight a giant enemy, you need a giant body. So I became immense and ran into you. Without a giant enemy, if a giant body is no longer needed, it makes sense to return to its original form"
"I mean, is that how big it is?"
"That's what I'm talking about"
When the dragon god snorted harshly, he boasted of a body that emitted a divine glow. In the darkness of the night, the Phalia discovered the figure of the Dragon God, thanks to the fierce, light-emitting giant of his claim, and thankfully, although its brilliantly luminous appearance resembles his character strongly. Sheila seems to be pioneering in such awkward strength, but thanks to Dragon God's kind of love for Sheila, things are going well besides things, so you can thank her.
"... well, no. So, Dragon God is back here, which means the battle on Logner's side went well, right?
"That's right. Because of that report, I'm back to you, Sheila."
"My ex..."
"Dragon God, how did you settle the battle of Logner?
It is not clear that Sheila would look extremely unpleasant, but Faria hastily shook the subject because she did not want to undermine the mood of the Dragon God. It's not surprising how things change, depending on how Dragon God feels, although it's good because Dragon God seems to be burning his obsession to Sheila's mood. In some cases, it is possible to turn to the enemy again. Without Setuna, if the Dragon God turns to his enemies, the Phalia will be finished. No, even if Setuna was here right now, whether it was something you could stand up to.
Setsuna must be exhausted, too. There's only room left for a decent fight.
"Hmm. Why don't you tell him about it carefully"
The dragon god, once again, nodded sternly, sat down on the spot and razed. Even though it has grown smaller, when the Dragon God claws, it is as powerful as if a small mountain could have been in front of him.
It was then that Eryl Alm, who had completed some post-processing, rendezvous, and the dragon god Hasakarau, seemed to be waiting for her arrival.
Post-war reports by Hasakarau on the logner side did not take that long.
When Hasakarau flew through the sky with Setuna in his hand and reached Logner Island, the battle was almost on its way to a settlement. On top of that, Nea Gandia was forced to retreat because Setuna struck Weselnil with a deadly blow with a jump-like attack.
Of the four Milius sent to Logner Island, they were able to grab the victory without missing anyone. Moreover, there was one person on Logner Island who cooperated with the Millews, who heard stories about the "Pale Wind" led by Sigurd-Foliar and the Imperial Demons under the control of Demon King Uberle, and the Phalia's were face-to-face. I was honestly delighted with Sigurd's survival, but it was unimaginable that there was a Demon King stronghold on Logner Island and that the Demons under the Demon King were in a cooperative relationship with Sigurd and one of the other Logner Isles.
There is no question whatsoever about the Sigurds surviving the final war. But who would imagine working with the Imperial Demons and having so much to do with the Nea Gandia Army as to confront them? I can only imagine that as anything but a fantasist. The fact that humans and imperial demons work hand in hand is an impossible thing in itself.
Although there is a precedent called Willedo of Agatara, that was a special case in point.
Regardless, we know that it is up to the Demon King whether the Demon King Uberle is a human being and the Imperial Demon “ruled” by him does harm to humans. Still, it was a little hard to think that the Demon King would act cooperatively on humans.
In fact, the Sigurds cooperated with the Miloos along with the Demon King's army, so there is nothing to say.
Though there was nothing more detailed than to hear from the Setunas when they returned, it was enough for the Phalia to know the fact that the Milius were alive and that Nea Gandia troops had withdrawn from Logner Island and Logner Island had been liberated.
I mean, the two-way operation was a success.
"I made a lot of sacrifices, but it was worth it..."
Eryl Alm told her to sigh deeply. I guess the severity of the Allied forces' damage is no other HR to her as she was running into post-war processing. Even Faria never thought of it as another HR or anything, but it wasn't as direct a problem as she was. It is true that a great deal of sacrifice was made, and although we take it seriously about it, we could not afford to think about the exhausted Faria.
"If only we hadn't deployed a two-way operation."
Make sure Sheila sees the distance, say.
She's certainly right.
If we don't push for a two-sided operation, the island of Logner will be dominated by the Nea Gandia army so far, and the Sigurds will not know what happened. Even the possibility that they were losing their lives is immense.
Of course, there can't be a difference in the value of life or anything, but I'm pretty sure I got a win for what I paid for.
Yes, I couldn't have done it without thinking about it.
Dragon god Hasakarau asked Sheila if she felt like becoming a divine son when she finished her report, but Sheila shook her head beside her without hesitation. It's not something Sheila can think of in the end, such as abandoning Setuna and becoming a godson, but I don't think Dragon God understands that kind of timing. The dragon god, not knowing to give up, was always breathing when he showed Sheila as a godson one day.
Sheila just sighs that it's troublesome, watching a dragon god she doesn't even know about.
It was on the fourth of May, the following day, that the Ark arrived with the Setuna on board an Allied position boiling down to the success of Operation Two-Way.
