Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World
Episode 2,3001: Teito (2)
The commander's man named Roy Zanos-Zigzaar, captain of the Imperial Armed Summoner Unit "Eye of the Sun”. “The Eye of the Sun" is a story about the West Zaion Empire's proud army of elite gathering among its armed summoners, with imperial defense as its primary task, constantly sharpening the five senses augmented by summoning armies, and a vigilant eye around the entire perimeter of the imperial Siwel End. At four or six o'clock, laying an alert with no momentary gaps due to the system of alternation also means that we care so much about the surprise attacks of enemy forces, which may mean that the Empire has been attacked several times.
Or are you simply building a vigilance to the point of rigour because you know the truth about enemy power?
I also noticed the Ark coming out of the air thanks to its overly strict vigilance, so there is no mistake in the imperial policy.
(If we were enemies, it wouldn't be weird if the Empire was devastated, I don't know what to say)
The Ark is equipped with a Kamikaze gun. The blow of the Magnificent Cannon from far above can easily wipe out a large city. The reaction of the “Eye of the Sun" is usually never too late, but depending on the opponent it would have been difficult to protect the Imperial Capital. Perhaps I'd rather warn Niewe directly than tell Roy and the others about that. We should have told them well when it came to the threat of Nair Gandia.
If Nair Gandhia is meant to conquer the world, there is no doubt that he will send his forces to this land any day. Even then, it would be important to pass on as much information as the Setunas have.
Roy, by the way, changed his attitude towards Setuna and guided the two to the Imperial Capital with surprisingly polite language and care.
He said that Setsuna's story was something that everyone in the upper realm of the Western Empire would know, and that he was strictly ordered by Emperor Niewehein to treat Setsuna politely if he ever showed himself to Western Empire territory. Kneewehein said he valued Setuna extremely highly and even said that if Setuna ever cooperated with the Western Empire, the equilibrium with the Eastern Empire would collapse in an instant and it would be only a matter of time before the Western Empire unified the Southern Zaion continent.
Then His Excellency the Viceroy and His Excellency the General are asking for me.
For Nina, for Rigford, I was wholeheartedly obedient to Niewehein. If Niewehein's opponent, eager to cooperate, appeared in front of him, it would be natural to smash himself into persuasion, and it would have been in that context that he was willing to accept and enter into a contract, whatever Setuna's request was.
Beginning with Roy, the armed summoners of the "Eye of the Sun” were always excited as they surrounded Setuna and Sheila as they moved to the Imperial City. I guess they're just armed summoners and intrigued by Setuna's prowess.
Kneewehein, who appreciated Setuna, must have been an excellent former armed summoner, an emperor, and a base of mind for the armed summoners of the Western Empire, beginning with the “Eye of the Sun”. Kneewehein, who understands the usefulness of the armed summoner more than anyone else, would have absolutely increased the value of the armed summoner in the Western Empire, and it can be seen from their exasperated enthusiasm that the armed summoners are also breathing to respond to that assessment. I'm not interested in how much of an armed summoner Niewehein is to them with any kind of hand they want Setuna.
Nevertheless, I suppose there are some thoughts that Setuna's mood should not be undermined. The armed summoners of the “Eye of the Sun" could not even question Setuna and accompanied her to the Imperial City in stuffiness.
On the road, Setuna surprises the Roys by mentioning the negotiations with the Western Empire on the island of Benoa. "Negotiated directly with His Excellency the Great Governor,!?
"In response, His Excellency the Archdeacon has not yet returned to the Imperial City."
"Yes... a few days ago, the Vale Illog reported that the Adelhein had been returned to port, so within ten days, we are due to arrive in the capital."
"There was no story about me in the report."
"I'm talking about His Excellency the archdeacon, so I was wondering if you might be thinking of speaking directly to His Majesty and surprise him..."
"I see."
What Setsuna understands about becoming one of Nina is that she loves Niewe wholeheartedly, and it's no wonder that she had the idea of surprise Niewe as an expression of that affection. And there's no way I can imagine Nina, who is not God, that the delay in reporting due to that idea creates such a situation. Setuna and the others, along with Rigford and others, were scheduled to board the Melissa Noah and arrive at the Vailuilog. That's a long way behind the Ninas, too. Who can imagine, for example, getting to the Empire City earlier than Nina, who arrived at the Vail Illog earlier?
"Your Majesty, I'm sure, will be delighted. Your Majesty was told that Setuna was the only force capable of breaking this equilibrium."
"Heh."
"You're highly regarded."
Sheila smiled happily. She rejoices as much as she does about herself that her master, Setuna, will be appreciated. I'm glad that's Setuna.
Setuna couldn't hide her excitement and nervousness from her longtime face to face with Niewe, who became emperor, as she looked sideways at Sheila's smile.
Shiwell End, Imperial City.
The big city, known as Aulator, has probably left a shadow of its time. Aura was an ancient word for gold and Tor for voice, and Aurator had a landscape that should also be called a golden city. It was from the main entrance of the city. The huge gate was gold-making from the gatepost to the gateway, and it seemed to indicate that real gold was used to shine in the sun. Goldsmiths are also applied to every part of the walls surrounding the outer perimeter of the city, as if some of the luxurious thoughts of the city's designers could be glimpsed.
You can tell by putting it in the city, but not all of it is made of gold. The majority of the elements that make up the city's landscape, such as side-by-side houses, roads and street lights, are extremely normal. Standing side by side would be a stone house, with one overflowing with maintained roads, and a street lamp would be a demonic crystal lamp. However, large quantities of gold were used in prominent buildings, such as towers that stood in various parts of the city, and I was sure that I would get the impression that it was the Golden Capital throughout.
All over the city, like when they looked down from the sky, was golden, and Miliu and the others were shocked. Moreover, its brilliance is not cheap, but rather even gives it a solemn atmosphere.
Amongst the cities of the Western Empire Territory, may I say that there is the most deserving majesty to make it a central city? I guess that's why the Neewes made this place the capital and changed its name to Siwell End.
Looking around the city imagining that, Sheila grabbed Setuna's sleeve as she was somewhat surprised. Looking ahead of her gaze, thinking that it's rare for her to show such a reaction, I can see why that reaction is. An object like the Great Iron Box was traveling through the city of Ciwell End. At the bottom of the box is the wheel, which is going over the tracks laid on the road. It was definitely a railroad. This means that an iron box is a vehicle, and Sheila was drained of her liver by the size and difference of the first vehicle she saw.
Setsuna was also the first time I had actually seen it, but sometimes it wasn't much different from Setsuna's familiar trains and trains, and it didn't deserve a surprise. The white-painted vehicle has large windows everywhere, and it can be seen that there is a lot of one inside. Perhaps even ordinary people can use it. Ciwell End is a vast city. Such a means of travel would be essential to travel within a vast city where there would be between two and three times as many in Gandion. It is obvious that the speed of travel is far faster than that of a carriage.
"Hey, what the..."
Sheila stunned as she left and followed the vehicle with her eyes. Then, Roy opens his mouth strangely happy.
"Oh, you two were new to visiting imperial territory. That 's--"
"It's a summons car."
"Yeah... you know me well?
"Oh, to some extent, I do."
Setsuna reflected somewhat on what she had done to deprive Roy of his position, which she had tried to speak well of, but also thought she could not help but be proud of that. Setsuna knows about the summoning car because she was supposed to peek into Niewe's memory, but the summoning car she saw at that time was a more boneless and decorative substitute. However, I have the impression that the subpoena cars that are currently running throughout the town of Siwell End are intended for the average person from the outside. Maybe it's the difference between military and civilian.
"You were moving the power of the subpoena to power. The Magic Ship was the same principle, wasn't it?
"Yes. You know me really well."
What Setuna knows about such empire-specific technology seemed surprising to Roy. Naturally. Setuna is nothing but a human being in a small group of nations. Empire technology has never been brought out of the country, and naturally people outside the country cannot learn more about it.
"Both the Demonic Ship and the Summoning Car were developed by the Genius Yelkaim-Karlavia Master since the beginning of our Empire. Without the Yelkeim, we would not have been able to travel freely to and from the sea without railroads being laid throughout the Empire."
Setsuna also knew a lot about a person named Yelkaim-Karlavia, whom Roy forcefully preached, from Niewe's memories and interactions with Nina, Rigford and others.
Yerkeim said he not only benefited from his talent as an armed summoner, but also made a significant contribution in the research and development of various technologies that applied armed summoning techniques, driving him to accomplish in just a few years the great undertaking of putting up a railway network throughout the empire. Most importantly, it was due to the enormity of the empire's resources, funds and workforce that he succeeded in enclosing the entire empire with a railway network, and even if he had been born in a kingdom alongside it, he would not have been able to do the same.
Empires have a different dimension than weak small nations in small groups.
One of these golden capitals, yes.
Siwel End is now known as the Empire City, but it was only once a city in the region. If we see the fact that such a city is so large that it is not comparable to the capitals of the countries of the small group of nations, we will know how powerful the three forces were, so much so that we feel chilly.
Even if the group of small nations were to be brought together in one, it would not have been very much the fourth major force to join the three forces.
Were Leongand's dreams just picturesque?
Vague voidness made Setuna's heart dry.
