Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode Two Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-one: Northern Front (XIV)

This time, the northern front was set in a group of cities in the northeastern part of the Western Empire.

Niadar, Niazuki and Niasaian on Niaferou, first dominated by the Eastern Imperial Army owned by Razen-Urknakt, are all deeply associated cities with Divnia, which can also be imagined from the name of the city.

Cities like branches stretched out more than Divnia, which is also the largest military base.

As the Eastern Empire attacked the Western Empire from the North, it set Divnia an immediate offensive target, because Divnia is a city of that much value, and nothing more than because it thought Divnia would be the bridgehead of northern domination. It is also an inexorable story that the East Imperial Army is motivated by the fact that the beginning of this effort was the Niaferow attack, which followed and dropped Niazuki, located in the north and south of it, and also subdued Niasaian in order to get closer to Divnia.

If we multiply that momentum and let Divnia fall, it seems no surprise that the northern part of the Western Empire has been suppressed as well.

"Well, thanks to Lord Setsuna and all of you, the prospect of the Eastern Empire will disappear as a bubble of water."

Lancelot-Gerland told as he gazed at the city projected into the air in the engine room of the Ark Urknacto about flying ships. It's called a projection light curtain. It seems to be one of the features built into this ark, which can reflect materials and information in the ark's recording library or project the landscape captured by the ark's "eyes”. It's about an ark full of unknown, transhumant technology. It's out of common sense at the point where you can fly around the sky freely, so even if there were complicated and strange technologies and features inside of it, it doesn't deserve surprise.

Rather than that, Lancelot had abandoned going into the ark and thinking deeply about the ark within listening to the various stories. Just think about it and you'll be surprised. Lancelot can't come up with a clear answer as to what the technology is and what it comes from. Even Setuna and the others don't know the details of the Ark.

I don't have to assume it's something I often use like that, but it wouldn't be strange if I was counting on the protection of the goddess.

"Nearfellow won't be a problem, will he? What Setuna is. Niadar also said that this battle power is exceeded..."

"The problem is Niazuki."

"We're the only ones who have the power. What about Niazuki's defensive power?

"It is defeated to see that the bulk of the force put into the northern front by the east is thinner, given that it is concentrated in Niadar and dispersed to some extent in Niaferou as well. Well, I'm pretty sure that's why we shouldn't bump into each other from the front with this crowd."

Lancelot looked sinister in the sense of happiness of having an operational meeting with the beautiful women. Faria-Aslalia, Miliu-Levaia, Rem, Sheila, Elina-Carone, Dalks, and the goddess Mayuri. Most of the space occupied by women is gorgeous anyway. Usually I couldn't help but envy Setuna if I made him face to face with all the tough-faced military guys.

Niazuki, reflected on the projection light screen, looks down from above, thus giving a good idea of the characteristic city shape surrounded by the pentagonal walls. There are countless black dots on the west side of that pentagon, and that is apparently an armed Eastern Imperial Army soldier. I guess I sensed the movement of the Western Imperial Army and set up a formation of iron walls. In fact, if you get hit from the front, this one has to be prepared for a lot of damage, no doubt. Neither does the East normally put in just battle power. There must be a large number of armed summoners.

"You don't have to hit anything from the front."

"Did you come up with anything good? Faria."

"We rule the sky. The battle is one in which those who control the heights can advance in their favor. Isn't it?"

"Well, I don't deny the idea, but it is."

Lancelot glanced at Faria's pitiful side.

"At this altitude, doesn't it matter to the advantage or the disadvantage?

Sure, it's good to hear from her. If the battlefield is not heavily deployed by armed summoners, the side that controlled the heights can usually carry the battle in their favor. Arrows at height reach farther, and arrows at low heights have shorter ranges. The momentum of the assault also increases, and if you set up a reverse drop, you may be able to swallow and defeat enemies like turbulence. Of course, depending on the difference between high and low.

As things stand, however, the Ulknakt is swirling far above what would be outside the alert range of the Eastern Imperial Army. It is far outside the wide and delicate sensing range of the excellent armed summoners that the Empire boasts. It's not even as close to this attack as it should be. Not to mention, it wasn't altitude or anything like being able to ambush you. If you jump, the flesh will be dispersed, not withstanding the impact of the fall, even when it comes to a nasty armed summoner.

"I'm not going to attack you from here or jump. It's just words, Aya."

"Aya the Word..."

"What?"

"You don't have to force me to use my head because I did a great job at Logner."

"I don't think anyone wants to hang out with you. It's as simple as anyone can think of."

"Yeah...... well, fine"

As two beautiful women, Faria and Miliu, argue across the street, it was a heavenly sight for Lancelot, but she narrows her eyes, remembering that they were accepted by the Gandian people as the mistresses of only one man. After all, shouldn't Setuna be in a bit of pain?

"So, what kind of measures can anyone come up with?

"Our aim is to recapture Niazuki, not to destroy the Eastern Imperial Army. You know that, don't you?

"Yes."

It was Elina-Carone, an adorable girl with chestnut hair, who raised her voice.

"Even if we repel the Eastern Imperial Army, we don't want to do as much damage to our enemies as possible. At least, there are unlimited numbers of dead, and I don't want them to die as one, if possible"

"I would be very happy for you to do so, even for us. Regardless, your safety and your life should be your top priority over moving into combat action. Prioritize the lives of the Imperial people. If anything happens to you that will cost your lives, your majesty won't see you."

Until we got bored, he just wanted us to set high priorities for human life, and for that reason we should have avoided the kind of situation where a whole line of setuna would be subjected to existence in vain. It is also the idea of the Western Imperial Army itself. The first priority is the victory of the Western Imperial Army, and the lives of those who came to the Eastern Empire are second only to none. If the humans of the Eastern Empire want their lives to be guaranteed, they can surrender to the Western Empire. Appealing to the Eastern Empire for the protection of their lives because they are the same imperial people is that the worms are too good, and that is something that everyone in the Western Zaion Empire is aware of below Niewehein.

So make a surrender recommendation first. To date, however, where surrender recommendations were made without a single battle, they had never been heard of, and there was no reason for the status quo, which continues to strike backwards, what belongs to the Eastern Empire, to descend into the Western Empire. The Northern Front, in particular, was temporarily dominated by the Eastern Imperial Army. Instead, we should have jeopardized the ties of the Western Empire.

"The best thing is to reclaim it without bleeding. But I can't imagine the East Imperial Army guys understanding the difference in power from us and letting go of Niazuki. We just have to fight and make them understand that we're not the enemy."

"Well, it will, won't it?"

"Fortunately, the majority of our enemies are out of town. Sense this motion, right? And that's a good opportunity to control Niazuki. Don't you think so?

"So what are we going to do?

Miliu frowned surprisingly at Faria's explanation, which came to no conclusion in the middle. Faria then turns her gaze to the goddess who sits like a bystander.

"May I help you, Master Mayuri?"

"Whatever. It's good. I am your hope."

The goddess of appearance, like a beautiful girl, somehow gave her a full smile.
