The Head Maid looked exhausted after dragging me into the shadow world and out of it. With her remaining mana and the signs of mana deficiency on her face, she shouldn’t have done something so reckless like that.
"Do you understand why this intensive training feels so hard, Liliana?" the Head Maid asked, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

Following the Head Maid’s instructions, I stared at a strange shadowy spot beside my own. It looked different from my own shadow, which should have been standing directly beneath my feet with the sun directly above me.

The scent of her soft perfume and her sweat mixed together, creating a new, not-so-bad scent combination. Much better than the pure scent of my own sweat, unadulterated by perfume.

"But I was wrong..." With a serious look in her eyes, Master Reina stared at the nape of my neck as if she was searching for something.
My right nape, which was sweating this afternoon, became even sweatier after being stared at intensely by Master Reina.
