Ascendance of a Bookworm

Materials & Tools Orders

After leaving Benno's room, me and Lutz were led by Marc to a warehouse close to the South Gate. Around the South Gate, it's an artisanal street, and they have a relatively large warehouse. Craftsmen often use water, so wells are also more numerous than residential areas.

What Marc showed me was also a warehouse with a well right next to it. It's not that big and the feeling I saw was about 6 tatami rooms. It appears to be a warehouse originally used by craftsmen to place materials, leaving some shelves with slabs on the wall.

They seem to be cleaned a lot inside, a little dusty, but they don't seem to need to be cleaned up. Looking around, there's already a pan and some bags in the corner.

"The order arrived once at the store and the store employee is now delivering it here. I brought pot and ash here yesterday. That's what it is. Today we are supposed to carry larger sags and heavy stones. Stay here until your package arrives."

I looked at the black pot in the direction of Marc's fingers and sincerely appreciated Benno's cooperation. Here is a pot that I and Lutz never got alone.

"Wow, it's a pot! Lutz, does this pan look like it can be carried?

"Oh, that's all I need. You can put it on your back."

"Well, let's measure it quickly. We need to determine the size of the steamer."

The tote bag contains a purchase order set borrowed from Benno's store. When I took the measure out, Lutz took it up a bit.

"... it's good to measure it, but once it settles down. If you get too excited, we'll heat you up again."

"Ugh..."

Marc laughs bitterly watching our series of interactions.

"If there doesn't seem to be a problem with this warehouse, I'll go back to the store. Be sure to be prepared for things to measure or ask for, as you are scheduled to head to the lumberyard tomorrow morning.... Well, I'm leaving the store with 3 bells, so I think we'll be in Central Square in a little while"

"Yes, I understand. I'll take care of you from what to what."

And Marc took out the chained key so that it could be worn around his neck.

"I'll leave this key with you two. It's the key to this warehouse. Don't forget to tighten the door. Then, Lutz can be alone, so be sure to come back to the store with the keys after you close them. Is that good?

"Yes."

When Rutz received Jalali and the heavy key, Marc returned with a twirl on his heel.

"Lutz, what do we start with?

Some of the previously unused warehouses have no chairs or boxes to sit on. It's not a place where you can take a break.

"Do you want to carry your stuff? Digits made, bamboo, nails..."

"Right. What you have to do by the end of the day is determine the size of the steamer and write down the size of the tree, right? Have you forgotten the lumber you need, look at your previous purchase orders and check...... and then do you think you'll be making a bamboo straw in kind?

"If you're going to cut or sharpen bamboo, you're going to need some tools."

I wrote on the tablet what I would do by the end of the day and placed it on the wall of the warehouse. Now, you'll never forget it.

Rutz and I will go home and take our luggage to the warehouse. I had no idea where I was, but Lutz seemed to know exactly where I was, turning a slight narrow alley.

Apparently the warehouse is between the south gate and us, where are we? and got to the house while I was lining my head with question marks. Happily for me without strength, quite close.

"Well, put your stuff in a cage and come down."

"Okay."

The only luggage we have on us is a nail. Rutz's family works in architectural and woodworking relationships, so he's likely to be mistaken or taken when he holds the nail.

Conversely, digits and bamboo that are likely to be mistaken for firewood are in Lutz's house because they are likely to burn when left on our property.

Put a bag with nails and a knife in the cage, and also a rag and broom on your eyes. I don't have anything that's going to be a chair, so at least I want to clean it and make sure I can spread the rag and have a place to sit.

Going down, Lutz was already waiting, and something like various tree pieces popped out of the cage.

"What did Lutz bring?

"During this time, some kind of failure Brother Ralph was making. I was wondering if I could use it instead of a chair."

"Pfft, I brought some cleaning equipment so I could sit down too"

Back in the warehouse, after putting nails on the shelves or arranging bamboo in the corners, I took out the measure. When the two of us measure the size of the pan and determine the size of the steamer, we write down the length of the tree we need on the stone slab.

"Are you okay with this?

"Yeah."

There are a lot of trees I have to ask a lumberjack for.

Steamer materials, corners for tapping fibers, flat larger plates and plates for paper floors, relatively thin flat plates for sticking and drying paper, bamboo for making bamboo strands, then, wood for paper raw materials.

While checking all purchase orders, also consider the characteristics of each tree you want, whether you want a solid tree, a soft tree, a well dried tree, or a young tree.

"Later, bamboo hiccup"

"Yes. Can you sharpen it?

"I cut it bigger before. What about the little ones?

Lutz-led began work on making bamboo strands from bamboo.

Even if you can break the momentum and luxury straight with Sparn, you can see it struggling as it seems to be hard to scrape thin.

"I'll try, too. Fine work could do it."

I took out my knife and tried to sharpen the slightly narrower bamboo, but the majority of the challenged broke on the way and the stuff I managed to leave the length was rattled and very useless.

"This is very difficult."

"Right."

Cut the bamboo straw with at least a little less rattling to the size of the digit to finalize the length.

I want to leave this task to those who can. We don't have much time and skill.

"I've brought my stuff!

While I was working on it, Benno's store employees brought me heavy stones of great weight that Lutz could carry. Have them set aside side by side with the pan.

"Mine, your stuff's here, and we're done for today."

Lutz starts cleaning up the tools as the employees go home. It's time for lunch, so there shouldn't be any physical problems with me yet.

"You're still okay, aren't you?

"... Tomorrow looks like a tough day, so you should take the day off. Didn't you say it was your cooking number today?

"It was."

The cooking number came around while I was asleep, but Tulli did it instead, so it was my turn today.

"Besides, I have to be ready to go to the lumberjack tomorrow."

"Ready?"

"I need to finish helping for tomorrow. So Mine goes home. If you send Mine, I'll return the keys."

"Okay."

I nodded and immediately packed my things.

The next day, a little after 3 bells, meet Marc in Central Square and head to the lumberyard. Benno's shop seems to be busiest between the 3 bells, where the vendor calms down, just before the 2 bells that open.

Lutz was with me today, so I didn't fall on my way, and I reached the lumberjack safely.

The sight of Marutai piling up or standing up was a little like a lumberjack I had seen in Japan.

However, since all the work to be done on the machine is done by hand, there is a massive amount of musculoskeletal macho roaming around, shouting, moving and cutting trees by a few people.

It was very lively. It's so lively and scary.

"Oh, parent. Long time no see."

"Oh, you. Benno's boy's looking good, huh?

"Right. I'm fine. For today's business, these two were looking for a tree..."

Marc says hello to his parents and tells them that we are searching for a tree, even though the blocked beard is mixed with a little white.

"The lady and the boy? What the hell kind of tree is there?

I look down with a slight eye at my musculoskeletal parents who don't make me feel old, and take a small breath.

"Um, I want a tree to build a steamer..."

"Ah? What tree do you want?

Asked back in surprise, I was stuck in words. Should I have been able to get through to Lutz and Marc before, but the steamer won't get through to my parents? Or do I have to say the type of tree?

"Uh, steam...... no, I want a strong, dry tree that won't change shape if it hits the hot air. Tell me."

"Ho? Tough, dry trees, huh? You know exactly what kind of tree there is."

Hmm, my parents raised the names of three different trees as I nodded.

"Zwan, Turaka, or around Pedisley. Which one?

"I don't care which one they say...... Lutz, you know?

I have no idea if they raise a candidate. I looked back and looked up at Lutz.

"Hmm? Isn't it Zwan that's easy to handle?

"Okay, let's make it Zwan. They're sized, aren't they?

"Yes."

Nodding at Marc's words, I took the purchase order out of my tote bag. Ask Marc to take a look at it once and see if it's deficient.

"Hmm, you don't seem to have a problem. Okay, parent. Cut Zwan as per this purchase order and bring it to the store."

"Whoa!"

A parent who sees a purchase order flush passes the purchase order to a young Macho who was nearby.

"Um, and I'd also like a platform for placing one thick plate and a plate, just as wet in water doesn't change shape."

"I can sell him the ingredients, but ask the furniture store for the table, or make your own. Is this good for Zwan, too?

"Yes."

If you nod loudly and give him the purchase order for the thicker plate, the parent will look at the purchase order, whilst humming his nose. Give another purchase order to such a parent.

"That's a lot."

"There's more. This can be wet in water with two slightly thin plates..."

"How thick is that? If you're too thin, even if you're tough, you're gonna bend right over, okay?

That's what they say as I bend my mouth, and I, um, explore my memories.

I thought of the board I was sticking paper on, and I pounded my hand. Remove the tablet from the tote bag and paint the cutlets and pictures.

"Uh, please be thick enough not to bend with a reinforcement frame on the back like this. Anyway, I'm in trouble if Lutz can't have it..."

"What can't be as big as this is disqualification of a man"

There's no way I can compare Lutz to such a mucky parent.

A little anxious and looking back at Lutz, he looked at me more quickly than I opened my mouth, and Lutz looked disgusted.

"I'm a man, I'm fine."

It's rutz to be strong and struggle later, but it's also going to involve a man's pride to speak out here, so I'll keep my mouth shut.

"Then a stick or something, a tough angle like tapping a laundry. Lutz holds this too, with the size and weight of it you can shake."

"This stick and the laundry stick. Then you're not at all, are you? What are you slapping?

Beating it brings to my mind those two things, but surely the material would be completely different with a stick as a weapon and a stick that beats the laundry my mother has.

"It's wood fiber. Boil it and beat it soft enough to look like cotton."

"Do what?

"I shouldn't have told you that."

Crossing his fingers in front of his mouth, making a batsmark, his parents snorted at Hun again.

"A balance between strength and weight is important. Which way - and on what platform do you hit? A stone? A tree? That's gonna change that, huh?

Come on, I'm losing blood.

I was completely oblivious to the fact that I needed a platform to slap.

"... or I wasn't thinking. Oh, shit, there's also a platform for slapping! Can I have a slap table, a stick and a set, please? I'm going to write a purchase order now!

"If you're going to make it a set, you can write it here... will the lady write it?

"Yes, but?

Having filled my head with unexpected mistakes, I managed to cover the mistake by immediately removing the measure, ink and pen of the purchase order set from the tote bag and adding the size of the basket behind the stick as well.

"Parents, is this okay?

"Ah. Is this the end of the order?

"No, and then... do you have long fibers and strong trees? Hopefully, the fibers are sprained and the fibers tease each other easily and take a lot of fibers off. I've heard first-year trees are for you. After the second year, the fiber hardens and the verse becomes difficult to use. I want a soft, young tree."

I tried to line up the easy to use tree features as paper, but the parent reacted poorly. I frown, um, teasing my mustache.

"You don't handle young people like that because they don't have much use."

Lumberjacks don't deal with young trees like the first year, unless it's also a special order.

"Um, well, if you have any idea of the traits I just said, just tell me the type. I don't know which tree is right for me, so I'll collect and find out a little bit at a time. Once you've made your decision, will you handle it?

"I can only say it depends on the amount. If it's a little, there's too little profit over here."

"Okay.... Lutz, remember the name of the tree and where it can be picked. I'm not sure I can tell."

We seem to have to collect them ourselves at first. If you have a prototype, decide which tree is good, and you're going to mass produce paper, let's put out an order.

While Lutz is teaching young Macho the type of tree and how to tell, I ask, showing my parents the bamboo straw.

"Oh, yeah. I want these bamboo straws, do you have any bamboo here?

"Not so much, but there is"

Parents said so, pointing to the back of the stacked wood. A familiar bamboo peeks a little.

"Can I make bamboo hiccups here?

"So thin machining is the job of a craftsman. Ask the mechanic."

"You're a fine engineer. Thank you. Well, that's all I'm ordering."

"Right. When you're ready, you can take it to Benno's, right?

That's what my parents said as I looked at the purchase order. All the purchasers of the purchase orders I gave them are Benno's names.

It seems that the orderer will be Benno because it is a contract to make an initial investment instead of how to make Simple Lincoln. Once delivered to Benno's shop, he told us that the form of giving it to us was important for contract magic.

"Yes, thank you"

I dropped off my parents going back to work and in the meantime I put my hand in the tote bag to see if there were any remaining purchase orders.

I have a table at the furniture store that I was told to ask for and a purchase order for the bamboo straw that I was told to ask for from a mechanic.

Um, what do I do with the table for putting the paper floor (sheets)?

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Whatever, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah

"... Mr. Marc, do you have any extra crates in the store that are going to be on the table? It's a waste of time to ask a furniture store."

"Okay. Let's get a crate here. How many do you need?

"I want to put the board down and put it on the table, so there are two things the same size. I would love to have two or three others because they can be different sizes apart from that"

Marc took care of it because it goes up cheaper than ordering from the furniture store.

When Lutz returns, Marc and I will be breaking up on the spot.

"Let's go to the mechanic's later, too. I haven't been able to contact you today, so may I dissolve you here?

"Yes, thank you"

The next day I went to the woods and collected firewood.

Finally, it is a round throw because there are no trees that could be used to make paper, although we have explored them, Lutz is more familiar with the trees.

'Cause they all just look like the same tree to me. I know it makes a difference in skin and touch, but there are too many types, I can't remember.

And when I went to borrow the keys to the warehouse to keep what I was able to collect, Marc told me I could get in touch with the mechanic.

Mr. Marc, seriously competent. Fast work.

Thanks to Marc, five days after I went to the lumberyard, I was able to go to the mechanic.

Meet me at 3 bells in Central Square as usual and head to the mechanic. The mechanic's workshop is on Craftsman Street, so it seems to be close to the South Gate.

Unlike the parent of the lumberjack, the craftsman was somewhat of a skinny man. It's fleshy as it embodies that you have the muscles you need to do your job, but nothing else at all. The gray hair that is all the way up to my back is tied unconstitutionally, just because that's okay if I don't get in the way.

"What kind of work?

I accidentally grabbed Mr. Marc's clothes when he looked from top to bottom in a nervous craftsman's sharp eyes.

"I want a bamboo straw like this. When I tried to ask the lumberjack, the mechanic told me to ask..."

When I removed the bamboo straw from the tote bag, the mouth of the craftsman moved all the way to its rattling.

"Do we need this waveform?

"I wanted to be straight if I could..."

"If it's this clumsiness addition or subtraction, you're more certain to ask. Okay. Is that the ingredient?

The craftsman pointed to the bamboo that was visible from Lutz's cage. Lutz takes the bamboo brought into the warehouse yesterday out of the cage and lines it up.

"Is that all you got to do?

"Um! If possible, I'd like you to make a" "" too, can you do that?

I draw a diagram on a stone slab and explain how to make a bamboo shovel with a gesture with only one piece. Even with my awkward description, the craftsman seems to have somehow captured the image.

"It's a lot of trouble, but there's nothing I can't do."

"Is that true? Wow!"

"But I can't do it without sturdy yarn. Bring some sturdy yarn before you order."

With that said, the craftsman waves pappingly and tries to push him back.

But you can't be driven back here. I have no idea what sturdy yarn the mechanic demands.

"Um, excuse me. I don't really know which ones are tough yarns. May I have a look at it with you?

"If you can go to the yarn enquirer now, you can go"

"I'm going!

I am delighted that unexpectedly cooperative words have emerged from the grumpy looking craftsman, and I answer them with my hands up immediately.

"Here, Mine."

Rutz had his head peppered from behind.

When I mumbled and held my head back and looked back, Lutz's green eyes narrowed in frustration, staring at me.

"Don't be cheap. You're the one who's gonna fall first."

"Apparently, Mine still wants to be held up and carried today?

"Huh!?

You remember exactly what I hated when I was transported to the house before, coming closer with a smile Marc wouldn't let me say whether or not.

Stinging and retreating, the voice of a seemingly irritating craftsman sounded.

"Are you going? You're not going? Which one?"

"I'll go, of course. Because that's what Mine said. Right?"

Marc captures me, holds me up, and takes me to the yarn interrogator.

Speed is out of step because I don't have to take into account the speed I walk. At Marc's shoulder, he sighed softly as he was heartily surprised that he was being held up and carried but less wobbly.

I mean, I'm trying, but I'm bothering you.

The yarn enquirer is on Craftsman Street, so it's not that far away. Still, as a spiritual adult, Marc can't hold me up and carry me.

I finally got it down at the yarn enquirer and I stepped inside the store.

"Wow, there's a lot of yarn!

"I'm a yarn inquirer."

Returned to the craftsman in a quiet voice, but the sight of a massive collection of yarn was rolling.

Here, a market store is like an outdoor store with only enough merchandise for an individual to handle, and stores lined up on the ground floor of the street are often cleaned up in shelves and warehouses, except for a sample, to reduce the damage of robberies and thieves at all.

It's rare to see so many products lined up in a narrow fashion.

"What is a sturdy yarn?

In Japan, it is tough raw yarn that is used to make the bamboo. I don't even know if there is silk or silkworm here, nor can I choose a strong thread.

"Spinne's yarn is the strongest. Especially in the autumn breeding season. But it's expensive, right?

What do we do? Asked with a gaze, I shifted my gaze to Marc. I am not the source of the money. The final decision is made by Marc, who keeps Benno's wallet.

"Spinne's yarn is fine, but you don't have to stick to fall stuff, do you?

"... Well, yeah, but are you sure it's okay with Spinne?

"Fine."

Apparently, Spinne's yarn is a very expensive one. From the best quality and most expensive, I guess the finisher was going to gradually lower it, comparing Marc to me as a little.

"However, I will not tolerate failure and crying. Be sure to finish it."

Marc smiled and handed it to the craftsman, after checking the purchase order for the bamboo straw and the bamboo straw I had removed from the tote bag.

"Regards"

"... ah"

Two postcard sized pieces to match the digits.

This concludes all orders for tools. I exhaled ho when I was safe.

From the next day on, I left a message at the warehouse and watched the luggage be carried in. And make tools with Lutz with the materials that arrive.

We gather in the woods during the match, or we help and stand around not to be criticized by our families, while we gather the ingredients.

I need the edil fruit to use for the trollo or the slurmo worm fluid, but this time I decided to use the edil fruit.

Edil's fruit twigs are often used to pack cloth and prevent gap winds when autumn deepens deeper into the winter season. As a result, the number of products on the market will decrease and the price will increase.

When Edil's fruit became unusable, it was agreed to use the Suramo worm.

And the buying of Edill's fruit, while I was feverishly asleep, Marc took Lutz alone.

Marc tells me that because of this, Lutz also wants to gain experience, and I gently reflect that it was a little too much.

When all the ingredients were in place, my health was in order, and I was finally about to be able to make paper, a month and a half had passed since Benno and I first met and declared we were going to make paper.
