Ascendance of a Bookworm

To buy winter clothes.

Today we are all going out, gathered at the Gilberta Chamber of Commerce with three bells, to go buy clothes.

Me and Lutz have been called in from Benno a little early, and we are supposed to talk to Benno about this in the winter season.

"What about Thuri?

"All you have to do is talk to Corinna about her winter handiwork"

In a word from Benno, Turi was to go to Corinna to talk to her about making winter handmade hair decorations. When Benno rings the bell, a working woman comes out the back door and takes Tulli back.

"... In the meantime, I arranged for two pigs this morning, and then, two butcher artisans. Without the craftsmen, there's nothing you can do with all the beginners, right?

"Is it true!? Yesterday today!? Wow, Mr. Benno! Work fast! I'm surprised!

When I applauded and praised him, Benno laughed and stretched out his chest, "Praise me more" as he was good at it. I'm going to order a ton of tools, so I'll give you more compliments.

"Nice, Mr. Benno! It'd be cooler if you gave me a discount."

"Rejected, Idiot."

"You're too outspoken, Mine"

We negotiated a discount on the commission, but it was lightly rejected by two frightened expressions.

"As for the smoked cabin, they're available at any time in the last ten days or so. When we think about preservation, we all want to make it critical in the winter. When do you want it?

Considering that pork processing is conservative food making during the winter months, few would certainly want to make it at an early age. Snow is often on the verge of tingling even in our neighborhood.

Now that the basement is getting half as chill as a refrigerator, it's more a matter of risk of using it as regular food than of quality. If I suck, it's not the middle of winter anymore.

"In three days, please. My father and Touri are off that day."

"Okay. Okay, let's move on in three days. I ordered the tools from the time I decided they would be joint, so I have some alignment. I'll lend you what's missing, and use what's in your house."

"Thank you. And this is what we need for winter support in the orphanage, other than firewood and food."

When I saw the list that I had coined on the wooden plaque, Benno frowned and roared.

"... That's a lot"

"This is my first time preparing properly, so it's full of missing stuff. There's a lot of people..."

"You don't have to, if you're working it out, don't you dare to prepare?

I laughed vaguely at Rutz's words.

"That's what the orphanage was going to do. I just need to prepare some firewood and some food, one at a time. But if I were to be caged in a temple, my family wouldn't forgive me."

As a result, unplanned expenses were to increase.

"Well, you're gonna fall right down, and you're gonna fall asleep. If you think you're going to be blind, you're not wrong to worry about your family."

"If Mine's room does want to live, there's not enough detail."

Since we are having lunch, we can manage the dining relationship, but there is a noticeable shortage of daily necessities regarding baths and bedding. There is no linen relationship at all, such as washing towels and sheets, and although the futon is in it, there is no blanket. When I hold it from the house, the atmosphere is too different, and I don't have enough room for the house, so I just have to buy a new one.

Trouble is, there's no such thing as a carpet to lay on the floor for autumn and winter. Because the mold was growing in what my predecessor had left behind, I was told that I could not use it.

"Mine, you want me to lend you some money?

"Yeah, no. Because it's better not to put money into friendship."

By the time the 3 bells rang, Fran had come to lead the side service. Everyone wears a gray jacket on top of their outdoor costumes. It's a simple jacket, so if it's a muffler, gloves and there's a difference, it's not that uncomfortable in the city, but it's all very noticeable because it's the exact same color, the same made jacket.

"Clothes have to be bought fast to suck"

"Right? I feel like winter food is more important on the coat than inside. Doesn't it seem like there's no problem with clergy clothes down there, as long as you wear a coat"

Benno opened his eyes to my words.

"Here, wait. You can't do that. Buy him a decent set."

"I was just saying."

"Eighty percent of the time in your case, I'm serious."

I slipped away from Benno's gaze and went outside, and Lutz ran up the stairs through the back door to call Tulli.

"Touri and everyone wear one at a time. I like it, look for it."

"Ha!

Tulli and Delia started picking out their clothes with bouncing footprints, and the two of us began to look at the clothes for children in a cackly fun way. Lutz and Gill have similar backs, so try to stick together and start looking for clothes. Rosina was quietly looking at her clothes elsewhere because she was close to an adult.

"... Are you sure, Master Mine?

Fran secretly asked anxiously. I calculate the balance, and snort. I don't have a problem buying clothes here. He then turned his gaze to the bag that Fran had.

"I have no problem with the minutes here.... and if it's going to be a problem, I'll sell the book. Why don't you pick your own share, Fran? If it's cold, you can wear it in your room, right?

Only once in a while, I can do what seems like the Lord, so when I told him not to shy away today, Fran missed his gaze like he was in trouble.

"Even if I were to choose my own clothes, what should I choose on the basis of..."

If you choose the Lord's clothes, Fran can choose the right dress code clothes from a variety of information, including where to wear them and the seasons, events and visitors, but it seems to be a squire and cannot be applied to Fran himself, who always wears grey cleric clothes.

I give Fran the criterion of choice, laughing small at Fran who is clumsy about himself.

"Firstly, something that fits your physique. Then, the material. Winter, so pick warm clothes. Pick the warm clothes that fit your physique, and then I'll show Fran what suits you best."

"I'm afraid so."

With a small laugh at Fran, who fears, I remembered my mother's words last night.

"Hey, Fran. My mother says she wants to go to her room to say hello once, but when will it be convenient?

When she told her mother that she wanted to see the room and see if I could live properly during the winter, Fran lay her gaze down like she was in trouble.

"Dear Mr. Mine, I would like you to stop that if possible."

"Why?"

"As I've said before, there are many people in orphanages with complex feelings about things like pregnant women and families"

Speaking of which, I recall my mother being nailed by Fran when she was pregnant and floating.

"Because Delia is also sensitive that she doesn't like orphanages, and it can lead to extra information turning to the temple chief. If you say you want to meet me face-to-face, I'll take you."

"... yeah, right. I'll tell my mother that."

I nodded slowly after once I turned my gaze to the pleasantly shaky voice of Delia. As Fran heads to a neighborhood lined with adult male clothes, Benno approaches him in a relaxed foothold.

"You were caged in a temple, weren't you?

"That's right. You can't just spend some time in the temple, but you can't just wear cheap clothes, can you?

The most expensive thing about my winter support is my clothes. I would buy my usual everyday clothes, if I were to buy them in a cheap used house, I would have no problem buying a few, but if I wanted to get a bunch of clothes to wear in the temple, I would need a lot of money. It's a big blow to my wallet.

"Naturally. You'd need a regular room outfit and a visit to someone else in the temple, a sleeping roll, and outdoor clothes, wouldn't you? Then make some quality underwear as well. Thick socks after that. The winter temple will be cold."

"... Ugh, my expenses hurt. No one else is going to see underwear, so you don't have to focus on it, you don't have to wear it out."

And when I said unto him, If I could only repair it where I could see it, Benno peeled off his eyes and was angry.

"Fool! Don't get distracted there! Besides, you're just susceptible to getting sick. Get dressed."

"You mean buy some clothes you can just wear, right?

If you want to layer many pieces, first, you need just the number of pieces to wear. I have a headache considering the price.

"As for underwear, you can buy fabric from us and have it sewn by your mother or Thuri. You got good arms, don't you?

"That's true... but I can't afford to get that much alignment. Mr. Benno, when you get back to the store, buy five books in between."

I'm totally over budget if I want to get it all new to my underwear.

"Then why don't you just say 5 books and print more? As long as we have ink, we can imprint it in the same mould, right?

"... ah, if I was going to print it, I had to print it at once"

"Hmm?"

When I remembered my failure in the Mine Workshop, Benno looked confused and raised his eyebrows lightly.

"The ink was dry, and the paper came on the opposite side, and I couldn't use it anymore. That painting, because it had really fine cuts in it. Unlike plates and metal, it's not a material that can wipe off ink or wash it, so it seems like it won't work once it's dry."

It would also take a good number of sheets of paper to make a picture book, 30 of which are prototypes, and if I had done a good job, I would have mass-produced the paper and printed it again, and the paper would have gone bad. It was too much and I cried.

"Next time I printed it, I knew I had to prepare a ton of paper and make it all at once."

"If it's paper, you can buy it from our workshop, right?

"... I don't like it because it's expensive. I'll make it at the Mine Workshop and buy it from Lutz."

When I swell my cheeks softly, Benno laughs bitterly.

At that time, he said, "Oh, my God! I told you it was mine!" Rutz and Gill's screaming voice echoed from behind the store. Benno pulls his cheeks all the way.

"... Mine, Arbitrate That"

"It's a store nuisance, isn't it? I'm coming."

Walking towards the tip of the finger indicated by Benno, pounding, Lutz and Gill appeared to say hustle and bustle. Because of the similarities in back fits, they're putting together one piece of clothing.

"Both of you, shut up. You have to be quiet or the store won't bother you."

The two of you who find me rush over, trying to fight ahead with one garment in your grip.

"Mine, this, which looks better on me or Gil!? It's me, isn't it?

"No, no! I said I look better! Hey, Master Mine?

Without the two of them, I came close to my face, and I approached him with a scary face. And I saw the watery coat which they had, and I shook my head with one sigh in the sight.

"Neither suits me"

"Huh!?

You didn't think they'd say that, they closed their mouths with their eyes round.

It's not like the design doesn't suit you. We both have light hair colours, so it just looks so cold in water colour on our winter clothes. Summer clothes would have been nice, but not suitable for winter.

"You know, Lutz. Mr. Benno said it the other day, didn't he? The colors have warm and cold looking colors. Which color is this? Which color do you think would be better to wear in the cold winter?

"... ah"

I let go of my hand from the clothes Lutz had in his hand like a hack. Gill tilts her neck with her water colored clothes.

"Gil cleaned up that water color and paired his tea trousers with this red tea jacket over here. Sounds warmer, doesn't it?

"Okay. I'll try it on."

Gill returns her heels to clean up her watery clothes.

Compare the clothes I take out as Lutz drops his shoulders slightly. Camel colored jacket looks thin at first glance, but with bristles on the back, it should be warm.

"Lutz has these scorched tea pants and Camel...... oh, loess or green coat, I think you should pair them with whoever you like. Try it on and choose. There's a difference in the material, so why don't you think about walking around the house and choose?

"Then this way, it's been decided from the beginning!

Lutz grabbed Camel's coat and glanced at me. Green is no matter how fancy the fabric is, it's not something you can wear around the house.

"Yeah. If you think about the conditions when you choose your clothes, you can't have more water colors, can you?

"... Gu"

Rutz moaned with regret and tried to weave Camel's coat. I also feel a little big, but if you think about layering it down there or being able to wear it again next year, you'd better have a little room.

The bristles on the back seemed warm, and Rutz's mouth loosened.

"What else is like a sweater or vest, if you choose? If you wear warm underneath, you can spend the winter muddy, right?

"I will."

When Lutz was satisfied with Camel's jacket, Touri came with a piece in both hands.

"Hey, Mine. Which one do you think would be better, this or this?

A piece with bright floral embroidery in deep green and a simple blue piece. Personally, I'd like to see a maid style touri with a white apron on a blue piece.

"How did Touri choose this and this?

"Is this cute? Look, colors, this embroidery, it's nice, right? I think it would suit my hair, but this is really warm with good material."

From Touri's assertion, if you choose it for your previous pragmatism, it's blue, but I know what you want is a deep-green piece.

"I think it would be evil to stand out if you walked outside on this cute one, but I'll wear my coat from the top in the winter. I think if you're just gonna wear it downstairs, you're gonna hide in your coat, and I think you can either like Touri, okay? If I were you, I'd take warmer than cuteness, but Touri wants cuteness, right?

"Ugh... bother"

I think it would be a good idea to buy clothes of my choice if I were to hone my taste in sewing. But it seems harder to take the look than practical to Thuri, who has been trapped in common sense so far.

"Master Mine, I want these clothes!

Delia brought her pretty pink clothes. It also has a coat that looks solid and warm. You little prick. But I can see Delia floating completely, so I'm not willing to say anything. Today I will make sure of my purse.

"Okay. Delia made up her mind."

"Thank you, Master Mine. Ugh."

Delia is overflowing with joy from all over her body singing her nose as she watches a piece with a full grin. If you're so happy with me, it makes me feel good to be somewhat expensive, for the most part. I didn't want to know what it was like to contribute to a pretty girl, but I did.

"Mine, I'll make you cute too!

Seeing Delia happy with her cute clothes, she also cemented her determination, Thuri said. He pokes a deep-green piece at me with a bish.

"Okay. In Touri's case, give up because buying a coat here will make you look bad around the house and at work. Choose shawls and mufflers to be warm instead. And for your mother and father."

"Yeah! Thanks, Mine"

Drop Tulli off running through the store in bouncing footsteps and I head to Rosina, who I am choosing alone.

It seemed that Rosina had already chosen her share, holding a piece of fat (Eun Ji) colour and staring at the unadorned blue coloured piece. I'm not going to adorn myself, so this is an unscrupulous piece that even Vilma, who said she wanted more painting tools than clothes, might wear.

"Rosina, Vilma's clothes..."

"Again, they don't want it. We didn't need it because we can't go outside yet."

"... yes"

"Seems like you can put your face on the workshop now and then, so would you be more pleased with the dirty, even good used clothes to get down to the workshop?... because Vilma is disgusted with pretending"

Because you're beautiful, it's a shame you're not stylish, but if you don't like yourself, you can't say it strongly.

"Master Mine doesn't need to be depressed. It's a big step forward just because we're headed to the workshop with the kids."

Back to the counter where Benno waited with Rosina, who laughed softly and softly, he found Fran stuck at a place for adult men along the way.

"Fran, have you made up your mind?

"... Dear Mine"

This store has the most clothes for adult men because of its customer base. Fran is twilight in the middle of a number of clothes.

"Which clothes did you like that fit Fran's size?

"From here to here, sir."

"I see, with all this, you get lost."

With a dull laugh, I compare my clothes with Fran.

"Fran has a calm atmosphere, so if simplicity is a good idea, this or this. If you're going a little stylish, this or this"

"... it's up to Master Mine to decide"

"Fran doesn't like things, either."

As she grinned bitterly at the weakened look of Fran, Rosina, who sparkled her eyes, rocked her chestnut hair and stepped forward long time ago.

"Fran has to overcome his ills, too."

"... sounds like fun, Rosina"

"I think I can help Fran too."

"Then let Rosina take care of it. My opinion has been expressed."

"Master Mine!?

I returned to Benno, putting aside Rosina, who was groaning, and Fran, who asked for help. There are piles of clothes each has chosen on the counter, but I can't see everyone else.

"Is that it, Mr. Benno, and the Lutz?

"Oh, it's troublesome if you make a scene, so I'm telling you to pick Mine's clothes"

The last time Lutz and Touri pulled it off, they scattered a spark, went looking for clothes, and because Delia and Gill are there to flank them, they joined the fight.

"You'd need a couple of room outfits, a visiting outfit, and one outdoor outfit at a time, wouldn't you? I don't think you can win or lose, so make it easy."

"... expensive. The clothes you need are the most expensive."

"If you pretend to be aristocratic, it's natural. Even though they say it's a civilian flair, if you're poor man's outfit to see it, it'll further stimulate the pride of the blue cleric. You'll have to get closer to the nobles, won't you?

Benno has no choice but to be dismayed. Desperately calculating the money in front of the counter, he brought clothes so that Thuri and Lutz could strain.

"Mine, how's this?

"This one's good, right?

What we both have in our hands are thick fabric blouses, skirts and vests. Last time I was told there were clothes other than a piece, they've been looking for it from outside of a piece. Delia and Gill came there with some clothes.

"Master Mine, this one is adorable."

"Master Mine, how about this?

One piece after another, like a tunic. Originally, there are no children's clothes my size. In other words, there is a situation in this store where any clothes that fit my size are spread out in a joint venture.

... Come on, what do we do?

Thinking about which to choose, with four gaze, Fran and Rosina came to the counter, who apparently finished choosing their clothes. When I say that I am choosing the clothes I need, I make one decision after another on the clothes that are lined up.

"If it's clothes to walk in the temple, is it around here?"

"When it was just spring, would there be a prayer ceremony? You should be prepared for this and this visit."

"At the prayer ceremony you will leave the city with the chief cleric, so if it isn't around here, you won't be able to make a match. This and this."

Nor will I decide, choosing the clothes that Fran and Rosina need to spend time in the temple. Very dependable side service, but my purse is a pinch.

Ooh, and when I have my inner head, Benno calls Lutz with his finger for a little while, and he ears something. Lutz shined his face when he heard it and hit Pong and his hand.

I'll buy mine.

"Lutz!? Mr. Benno, what are you blowing at!?

I glanced at Benno with a kick, but he just snorted and Benno laughed funny.

"My money was split in half when Mine invented the new product, and my family was repaired, so thanks to that. Even if you can't borrow it, you can give it away, right? I got a lot of stuff from Mine, too."

I don't know, Lutz tends to be good at it, but I think he's over the gift amount for whatever it takes. Besides, I don't even have experience in Reino Era buying clothes for boys who aren't family members.

I worry that I don't know what to do, and Benno keeps nibbling at me, giving Lutz his back.

"Don't imitate me like I refuse a gift from a man in front of such a large crowd, Mine"

Benno said that to make fun of him, but surely if I refuse here, it could put Lutz to shame. I don't know how to say no smartly.

Looking around for help, Delia put her hand on her hips and reprimanded me.

"Me too! Master Mine just has to laugh nicely and take it. Because it's only by making men contribute that the value of women increases."

"Delia, please. Shut up."

Isn't that the way I say it, as if I were a wicked woman who makes men contribute? It became unnecessarily difficult to receive.

Lutz tapped lightly on my shoulder holding my head.

"In the meantime, give up because the payment is over. Huh?"

... what, its smart! Split it up!

Well done, and I feel the influence of Benno stroking the heads of the eagles and luts with a laugh is getting very intense. While I am dismayed at myself for having received noble education from Rosina and not having any shards of smartness, I also end the settlement of the clothes of Thuri and his sidekicks.

Sideservices in turn changed into their respective clothes in the fitting room and began to bag the clothes they had been wearing. My clothes are to be kept in the temple, so that the lay servants are to clean them up by hand.

As everyone's gaze turned toward their clothes, I softly withdrew to Lutz.

"Thanks, Lutz. That was so helpful.... really."

"Don't worry about it. My husband told me that before."

"What?

Lutz has been pointed out by Benno that the paper, as well as the picture books, hangers and bookboards, divide their earnings in half, but they haven't divided their initial investments in half.

"They also told me to either notice Mine or shut up until I'm stuck, but now I'm definitely stuck, okay?

... Ooh, no! I didn't even notice.

And I received half the cost of my initial investment from Lutz, which I was to use to align my underwear cloth with replacement sheets and warm rugs for the winter.
