Ascendance of a Bookworm

Ditter Match Part II

"Ahhhh!

"Rosemaine!"

Kin! and make a hard noise, and the shield of Szeria is completed. At the same time, I heard the voice of the chief cleric, which contained a slight impatience.

... Huh?

The moment I looked up as I lay my eyes down gently and prayed to God, Heishitze shot out his magic against me. Time after time, Hannelore's "Yikes!" I thought I heard a thin, high voice. But I cannot see at all what is happening because a lump of blue and white glowing magic flies towards me.

In the shield, hi-ha! and breathe, and I close my eyes firmly. Something flies toward me is scary even when I know I have a shield.

In the dark sight, bread! and there was a loud sound that the magic could play against the shield of Szeria. Once I let my body wiggle, it is time for me to open my eyes. There were no clumps of magic already, there were just shuzerian shields clear in the familiar yellow.

"We've prevented Heishitze from attacking. What is that!? It's not Gettylt."

"A hemispherical shield, is it?

"Danger, Master Hannelore!

Seeing the shield of Szczeria, a sharp voice rose from among the knights who had said something to his mouth. They were attacking the Cleric Chief at the same time as Heishitze. A counter-attack came from the Cleric Chief's amulet toward Hannelore. The thin light flies straight towards Hannelore.

"Gettylt!"

Hannelore managed to prevent the counterattack by trying to sit in the shadow of the shield when he quickly shielded himself. It solidifies without moving in the same position. I guess I was scared. He looked like he was going to cry. The amulet counterattack taken by the Chief Cleric is twice as powerful at best, so it is at least a salvation that Hannelore was not as aggressive, nor was the counterattack significant.

... Good. Good thing Master Hannelore is safe and sound!

In the shield of Szczeria, and further aboard the Lesser Bus, I stroke my ho breasts down. I loosened my expression, but the chief clergyman turned into a very unpleasant face. I have a face when things didn't go as I expected. Maybe he was going to use the amulet in an attack from Heishitze, not Hannelore.

... I guess Heishitze was expecting a strong offense at the opening.

Although the attack of Heishitze was directed against me and prevented with the shield of Szczeria, I wonder if the Chief Cleric thought from his many years of dating that that attack could be directed against him. I think he was planning to fight back with amulets.

Because Hannelore and I are too far apart, Heishitze may have attacked me, Hannelore attacked the clergyman. Or was it for Heishitze to confirm my defense? Whatever the reason, the Chief Cleric seemed to be the result of being backed up.

"Heishitze, be careful!

"The opponent has the magic equipment to fight back!

The knights of Dunkelferger watching the game, unlike Heishitze who was attacking me, would have seen the magic equipment of the amulet activated for watching from the outside. The screams of advice began to fly.

"It's a counterattack to a physical attack. Think of a way to attack!

"No, Master Ferdinand is not a man with many magic instruments of the same effect! Rather, a physical attack is more certain."

... Big right! Applause to Heishitze for getting it right!

As Heishitze said, there are only two amulets that the Cleric Chief took. One is an object that fights back against a physical attack and the other is an object that fights back against a magical attack.

In other words, at about the same time as the opening, the clergyman would have used one amulet. That, too, is not a Heishitze that would make a powerful offense, but in a Hannelore towing offense that is never strong.

... Oh, I think I see a tongue-beating clergyman.

Heishitze slaughtered him with a sword in quick strike at the cleric chief who tried to attack Hannelore with a harsh look. Its speed is faster and sharper than that of the Chief Cleric. The chief clergyman opened his eyes wide and found that he had prevented the attack.

The blade and blade sound gutty and dull. The sword was returned twirling with a wrist motion and the next attack was immediately launched. The clergyman takes Heishitze's attack with a rugged face.

Heishitze distorted Ni's lips.

"Don't think it's the same as it was ten years ago!

The clergyman desperately suffers the onslaught of Heishitze, which began there, and sends him away.

I looked to my surprise. It is no exaggeration to say that there are no enemies in Aerenfest, but the Chief Cleric is losing to Heishitze with speed and sword moves. I don't like it if I see that it's the best I can do just to prevent it. But I know.

"Nice, go! That's how it goes!

"Watch your distance! Don't give me room to change my weapon!

"If it's just speed and moves, you're up there! Do it!

Perhaps this is Heishitze's best method of attack. I can see that from the wildness of the knights around me.

Approximately ten years after graduating from the House of Lords, Heishitze continued to fight as a knight in Dunkelferger was strong. At the request of the Knights, he is stronger than the clergyman who occasionally lent his strength but was basically pushed into the temple. Of course, the clergyman who can prevent the attack of Heishitze, who has lived only for such a battle, is amazing enough, but he's definitely being pushed.

There is a rush on the look on the clergyman's face. It was the first Cleric Chief struggle I saw.

"I know you're trying to get some magic equipment, but let me do that!

Heishitze's voice echoed. He has repeated fierce attacks at close range so that the chief clergyman does not afford to hold the magic tools or deform the stapes.

Somehow the white line flashes, and the blade and the sound of the blade hitting it, so I know they're making a tremendous attack, but despite the physical strengthening, they can no longer be followed in my eyes.

"You seem to have a long temple life and a dull body. You didn't train?

"I'm not a knight."

The usual tone but sounded like the voice contained an abomination. I breathed in the appearance of a clergyman who looked unusual.

...... what shall we do!? Chief Cleric loses!?

I thought the clergyman would definitely win it. The heart makes unpleasant noises about unexpected developments. Anxiously beating faster, an unpleasant sweat appeared on my spine.

... Something I can do. Being out of the way of the Chief Cleric.

As I looked up at the clergyman being pressed, I put out a stamp. Magic.

"Watch out for Master Rosemaine!

"We've got a stamp out!

I pray quietly. With all this distance, no one else must hear you.

"Lydenshaft, God of Fire, protects his family, Angleaf, God of Martial Arts, to Master Ferdinand"

The blue light that flies out of the Starp stretches straight towards the Cleric Chief. You just have to make it a little easier to fight. I don't want to see the chief lose.

"What? What did you do?

"Blessings?

In the gaze of the defiant knights, the Angleaf blessed clergyman slightly brought it back. I feel less desperate than earlier. At least, I went back to my usual faceless, not rushed face. However, Heishitze's advantages are unwavering where there was Angleaf protection.

... What shall we do? What am I gonna do? Something else you can do...

As I desperately thought, the anger of the chief priest descended.

"Don't do anything unsolicited, Rosemaine! Always win, so don't move. Wait for my victory!

"Ha!"

I rushed to extinguish the starp I was gripping to deform into a water cannon, and I stretched my spine in the Lesser Bus. Later, it slowly pulls out the strength of the body.

... It's okay. I can definitely win. Chief Cleric can't win. Because we don't fight.

Still, I still combine my fingers in the mood to pray to God and put in the gut. Over the sky, the horseman was busily moving, and the sound of the sword trident was repeated.

I think the Cleric Chief's movements have been somewhat dull as to whether fatigue has emerged from the overlapping attacks. It's enough to tell in my eyes. I guess I know more clearly in the eyes of the knights of Dunkelferger. Support began to gain strength. I scream as the thriving knights ride themselves out of the gallery.

"There! Too bad!"

"One more breath!

"Do it all at once!

Heishitze's movements with such support seemed even better. The Cleric Chief's breath seems to be rising in successive attacks.

"Ha!"

The chief cleric sent the attack of Heishitze in a critical manner, but it also meant creating a huge gap.

"That's it!

"Come on!"

Heishitze rolls out his sword. The chief cleric grabbed the blue cloak to prevent it and spread it wide in front of him.

"Become!?

If I cut it off like this, I'll cut the blue cloak with my own hands.

A moment of hesitation shown by Heishitze.

I wasn't the chief cleric who missed that.

The magic equipment was played with a pin, causing a small explosion in the middle of the two. They are both blown apart around the blast point.

"Shit!

Heishitze, who regained her position from the blast, changed her complexion. The Chief Cleric has regained his position in the same way, with some demonic stone-like magic implements already gripped in his hands, and Starp has been deformed.

"That's a reversal, Heishitze."

The clergyman grinned toward Heishitze with a whopping, spare smile. That piercing locust, that's exactly what the demon king calls it. I'm not a brave man from anywhere.

... Good. The usual chief clergyman!

To the appearance of the familiar chief priest, I stroke my ho breasts down.

"I can't believe you're shielding your loot cloak!

"That's the man who kept putting up the spicy trap and called himself the Demon King!

"The way it's done is dirty! But this is what I wanted to see!

The backup seats are huge too, but it's not what started now that the Cleric Chief's way is spicy. The clergyman, who looked like he had a rough breath until earlier, now looks cool. Deceiving Heishitze seems like a piece of art.

"Damn! It's so easy to reverse the situation!

Heishitze sets up his sword to bring it into his own good development again, but he is thrown a magic tool and stopped with a small explosion similar to the one he had earlier.

"Don't think you can stop me to this extent!

Heishitze slashed and skipped the magic equipment with his sword, thrust it without even some small explosions or other objects, and manipulated the horseman as he twisted down with force moves, packing the distance to the chief cleric.

"Hold on to this for a while!

"I know how many magic tools I have!

This Ditter battle was decided suddenly against the Territory. I couldn't afford to go back to the dorm or go back to my workshop to prepare. The number of magic tools that the clergyman most adept at trapping after being prepared in advance is not so high.

"Water cannon"

Sturp changed his appearance with the sheriff's grunt. Just the sheriff pulls the trigger, multiple arrows pop up one after the other.

"Wow! Wow! What is this!?

He looked stunned at the weapon Heishitze saw for the first time, and still, managed to avoid the attack. The chief cleric shoots a water cannon with no expression, releasing magic equipment in between.

If you're calculating to the direction of escape, or if you shoot him several times, Heishitze has done his best just to avoid it. I can't tell what a new weapon looks like, I don't know how to fight it, and it's a war prevention.

"What, that weapon!?

"I've never seen one!

It was Hannelore who raised his voice toward the knights on purpose.

"That looks a lot like Mizdepow, where Master Rosemaine was made during the lecture. But Master Rosemaine said it was a toy to get the water out, and I, for one, confirmed its power. It wasn't that weapon."

Hun and the clergyman snort as they look down at Hannelore's stunned expression.

"It has been improved so that it can be used as a weapon. That's pretty convenient. See, like this."

Shortly after shooting toward Heishitze, the clergyman shot out an arrow toward Hannelore. Multiple split arrows pour down towards Hannelore.

"Danger, Master Hannelore!

I raise my voice unexpectedly and rise in the Lesser Bus. I saw Hannelore putting out her shield and preventing the arrows, and I was glad, exhaled with relief.

"Rosemaine, whose side are you on?

"Oh, oh, I'm sorry! Your friend was about to run into danger, so..."

I apologized immediately, but the clergyman did not forgive me. He was ordered to keep his mouth shut, not just to make unsolicited moves, but not to say extra things. I sit back with a chuck in my mouth.

... but you know, the chief cleric seems more like a bad guy from anywhere. You're going to want to support your disadvantaged, righteous allies.

As I watched quietly with my mouth shut, I saw the chief cleric, using water cannons and magic equipment, shoot Heishitze off the horseman and immediately move on to the attack on Hannelore.

... Whoa, whoa, whoa! Master Hannelore! Somebody help him!

Hold my mouth tight, and I will open my eyes wide. I saw a blue and white light in that vision. Its light flies at tremendous speed, drawing an arc to attack the chief cleric. While falling, Heishitze fired a mass of magic at the Chief Cleric.

... No! Oh, wait!

"All right!"

"Well done!

From the audience there was a shout of praise for Heishitze's attack, but I felt the blood draw on the contrary.

... the amulet!

Another amulet the Chief Cleric took is activated in response to a magic attack. Heishitze's attack was prevented and, conversely, a major counterattack flew in. Heishitze, who is being shot off the horseman and falling, has no escape technique.

"Heishitze!"

"You still had that magic equipment!?

As the knights screamed, Heishitze seemed to have tried to escape a bit of a direct hit and found himself twisting his body in the air. But I couldn't get away with just twisting my body, and Heishitze took a direct hit and rushed in with great momentum toward me.

"Ahhh!

Where the big body of Heishitze flies in and frightens his body, Heishitze is bounced by the shield of Szczeria to be further flown by the wind that happened. When I saw him thrown out to the ground with the sounds that seemed so heavy, I accidentally rose up in the Lesser Bus.

"So, are you okay!?

The tingling is working, so it doesn't seem to be dead, but it looks pretty serious. I want to heal to the worn out Heishitze to see it. But I know that no matter how thoughtless I am, I must not heal my enemies in the midst of battle.

As I watched Heishitze grate in the Lesser Bus, I saw him throw the healing pill into his mouth. Heishitze seems to have to wait for recovery in this state.

... Hope it gets better soon.

With that in mind, when I turned my gaze from Heishitze to Hannelore, I saw the clergyman and Hannelore facing each other. Hannelore is holding his shield in tears and looking up at the chief cleric.

"Heishitze can't move for a while. If you admit defeat, get out of your line."

Hannelore shook her head, even as she looked up at the clergyman with the stamp standing, trying to hide in the shield and pulled a tremor.

"I am the Lord's Candidate of Dunkelferger. You can't do anything to get out of formation from yourself!

The clergyman opened his eyes lightly as he was surprised by Hannelore's words, and the knights in the support seats roared so hot and painful.

"Whoa, whoa! Dear Hannelore!"

"Excellent! That's what Dunkelferger's Lordship Candidate is for!

The clergyman exhales lightly as he glimpses the backup seat that springs up.

"Then we'll have to force it out. Let's settle this, and the second half of the war will begin."

When the chief clergyman let out the belt of light from Starp, he wrapped Hannelore around him and threw him out of Dunkelferger's position with a single fishery similar to what I was once given.

"Khaaaaaa!

Hannelore, who was thrown into the air with momentum, is heavily parabolized with high screams.

"Dear Hannelore!

He seems to be recovering slightly from the medication, but jumped up like Heishitze of Zutaboro was bounced at the same time as a scream to help Hannelore, squeezing out his death force. Give me your arm at the drop point and hold Hannelore.

... Wow! Heishitze is a knight among the knights!

He just couldn't seem to step on it, and Heishitze fell as-is, but there didn't seem to be any major injuries to Hannelore.

"Until then! Winner, Aerenfest!

The moment Hannelore leaves the formation, Aerenfest's victory is a decision. Aub Dunkelferger's voice announced the settlement. I unlocked the shield of Szczeria and rushed out to Heishitze and Hannelore on the Lesser Bus.

"Dear Ferdinand, I, I would like to heal you both with Lungshmer, would you mind?

"... is it healing? Are you sure? Well, this one helps."

Hannelore blinked and saw the Cleric Chief's reaction, not mine. The chief cleric flaunted his shoulder and said, "Do as you please."

"I'm used to you waving mercy around. But if you have mercy, it's not just who you fought for, it's what you want."

"... Huh?

I didn't realize it because it was faceless, but when I saw it nearby, the chief cleric was also injured here and there. It's the usual faceless thing to do with such injuries.

"Master Ferdinand should look a little painful. Aren't you unaware?"

"What do you do when you make them understand your disadvantages, fool"

... I'm telling you because I don't even know on my side!

I went down from the Lesser Bus, swelling my cheeks. Let the three of them sit down, put out a stamp and magic, one healing at a time.

"Lungshmer healing"

The green light overflowing from the Staarp heals each one. Hannelore stood up exhaled in horror, "I'm afraid," she grinned adorably.

Heishitze, who was the most seriously ill, also recovered to an extent that would not interfere with his normal minutes of movement. Heishitze stood up, looking down at his body, moving his hands and feet lightly, and looked at me as if surprised.

"Sounds like you've used a lot of magic. I'm afraid, Master Rosemaine."

"Hmm, this doesn't seem to get in the way."

That's what the chief priest said, and stood up, and said to Aub to return the demon stone and get back on the horseman.

"The battle has been settled. We'll talk more later, and if we don't hurry back to the dorm for lunch, we won't make it to the second half of the fight. You're gonna see Cornelius struggle, aren't you?

"Yes."

Suddenly by the chief cleric, I jumped on the Lesser Bus when I returned the Demon Stone to Aub to enter the training ground. The clergyman returns the demon stone in the same way and rides the horseman.

"See you later"

"Wait! I want to hear about that new weapon."

Heishitze tries to pull back the clergyman, reaching out. The chief cleric once stopped the horseman in the air, he looked back and laughed niggly.

"I have no in-laws to teach them. If you want to know, try winning once or so. If you don't just train your body to compress and lift your magic, but also remember to use other means effectively, you can't beat me, Heishitze."

... that's the kind of provocation that makes me challenged to battle again and again! Forget it!

Later I heard the roar of the knights of Dunkelferger vowing to rematch.
