Prepare for the ritual

It was decided to hold a service ceremony in front of the altar of the House of Lords, but not immediately. Firstly, the Lecture of Restylaut and the service ceremony of Aerenfest must come to an end. In the meantime, Dunkelferger, who spoke to the other realms, would dither and sort out the participants.

"Muriella, if there is too much magic difference when performing the same ritual, the burden is on the lesser, so let participants be limited to senior aristocrats or lord candidates. Then tell Dunkelferger in Ordnants that you can't even participate in freshman year when you just learn to compress magic."

Wilfried and Charlotte, who had rituals with demonic stones caged with my magic, were also in trouble until they got used to it, and in other realms they often learn to compress magic in the House of Lords before supplying it with basic magic. Anyone who has never supplied at all is more dangerous than not being able to attach adult aid to all beginners.

"Dear Rosemayne, the Ordnants are back. The criteria for participation were accepted. Looks like Ditter's ready in Dunkelferger. They're waiting for small and medium-sized territories to form a joint team."

... Ladies and gentlemen of the small and medium-sized territories, I am saddened.

I reach out to the book I owe as I gently join hands in my heart.

"This one will be ready after the temple's dedication ceremony. Why don't we wait and read the book slowly?"

I spent some leisure time reading books I borrowed from other territories and heading to Hirschühl's lab. Although I also went to the Tea Party, basically my complaint against Ditter for participation requirements is most of the topic.

Apparently he told me to play Treasure Stealing Ditter how sorry I was to escape to a Ditter competing for speed. Even as he was learning in the classroom, he was a treasure stealing ditter who had not practiced in his practical skills, so he was beaten up by no skin even when he formed a joint team. I laughed small at the complaint that there were not enough healing pills.

"They say Ditter is a must for collaborative research with Dunkelferger. We've done Aerenfest before."

... I played Treasure Theft Ditter when I was a freshman. I didn't lie to you. Yeah.

Not a bad rumor about my adoptive father, but the tea party that ends with a joint study or a topic against Dunkelferger's Ditter is less of a mental burden, and for the first time I thanked Dunkelferger's Ditter lovers.

In addition, there were progress reports from civilian apprentices conducting joint research with Drevanhell. It seems that Gundorf is researching quite enthusiastically and making various formulations using paper as a material to give each demon tree a stronger characteristic.

Apparently, the nanosave paper I use as a matching paper is moving a little faster or starting to show movement even at a distance than before.

"It means you've performed better, but you want to use it to move library books, so don't perform better enough to withstand the weight of the book. Ultimately, we are also thinking about incorporating magic formations, but we want the quality of the materials to be improved as much as possible."

Apparently, the Avon paper can now write scores and play songs like Orgol if you let the demon stone slide, but there's still room for research.

"If you can slide the magic stone and play the sound, you just need to be able to stick with the instrument and play it automatically."

I think of the tone of the pipe organ that sets the roll paper for automatic performances that I've heard in the Reino era. That was so great.

I just groaned somehow, but Marianne seemed to have listened well.

"Let me make a suggestion to Dr. Gundorf. Aerenfest just got scolded for not having a lot of interesting attention."

"... if it's good in my eyes, not Marianne herself"

To study with Drevanhell's civilian apprentices, who are focusing on research, they still seem a little underpowered by Aerenfest's civilian apprentices. Civilian apprentices doing collaborative research look a little less confident.

"When you graduate from the House of Lords and return to Aerenfest, there are not many opportunities for you to take part in more level research than collaborative research with Drevanhell. Don't let yourself get distracted and continue your research, although there are some things you might care about, such as ambient levels and reprimands."

"I'm afraid so."

In doing so, Clarissa delivered an aggregate result of the report and questionnaire that Lestiraut's lecture had been completed. A lot of people in Dunkelferger seem to have gained more protection for their civilian and sideline service than for their martial arts.

"I don't know, it's for Ditter, and it sounds like a territory that has thrived with Ditter"

I nodded deeply at Filine's sentiments.

"According to what we talked about at the Tea Party, the Cavalier Apprentices still seem to be united in the Ditter fight. Only Dunkelferger is alive and the rest of the territory seems to end nicely"

"You're in my eyes. Then, this is the roster of participants in the ritual. Take a look"

Receive a wooden plaque from Filine and look through. The territory in which participation in divinity is decided and the names of the participants are written. A majority of territories are to participate, with three to eight names written, although there is a difference in the number of participants between large and small territories. Looks like more than sixty student participants alone.

"The Great Territories will be joining us."

"This is a great opportunity to participate in collaborative research, and research that increases the patronage of the gods will attract your interest most in territorial rivalries."

Apparently, the opportunity to participate in the competition is to take advantage of it. It has the names of Classenburg, Drevanhell and Arlensbach. From Drevanhell it seems that all the Lordship candidates will participate, but Arlensbach is not the Lordship Candidate Dietrinde, but the Civilian Apprentice is supposed to.

"... oh? You said you wanted to attend as much as you did at the Tea Party, but you don't have the name Inmeldink."

"Because there are few small and medium-sized territories that can afford to do ditters. Especially when you listen to stories of other territories being beaten up and how much material such as restorative drugs was needed and burdensome, many of them seem to have butted in."

... um, you know what it's like to butt in. I turned it to other territories because I'm in trouble, too.

If you are consuming healing pills in large quantities at the time of the ditter, would it be a big deal to have a service ceremony? Although Aerenfest's collection location is rich in high-quality materials, it should not be the case in other territories.

... healing pills, maybe you should hand them out?

"Dear Rosemaine, the participants have decided, so you must explain the precautions of divinity."

Speaking to Philine, I was thinking about the number of participants and the material of the recovery pills that I had to prepare, and I look up haphazardly.

"Right.... about cleansing yourself that morning, getting your recovery pills ready, remembering your words of prayer...?

Remembering what I was made to do in the temple, I will point and count precautions. There's nothing I can do without ceremonial clothes.

"Send your precautions in Ordonanz and teach the civilian apprentice the territory where you need to learn more about the words of prayer. It's written on this wooden plaque, so get your own copy."

"Yes, sir."

When all my civilian apprentices nodded, Wilfried sounded anxious.

"Rosemaine, I don't know the words of prayer for the service either. I've attended prayer ceremonies and harvest festivals."

"Words of prayer at the service ceremony are the same as when you supply magic to the magic of the foundation. Do you want to review it once?

When I gave him a wooden plaque with words of prayer, Wilfried, who looked through me softly, pulled out his shoulder strength like a ho. Charlotte, who was watching how it went, also glanced at the wooden plaque and smiled, "This would be fine," he said.

"Speaking of which, I got a report from Aerenfest. Apparently, the temple's service ceremony is over. They're just getting the tools they need. They're having difficulty transporting them from the temple to the castle in the snow."

With my Lesser Bus I would end up carrying my luggage easily, but it is hard to carry it by horseback. Especially now, when we haven't been able to defeat the winter lord yet and the snowstorm is the worst time. It seems that Hartmoot and Brother Cornelius are having a hard time getting back and forth to carry them by horseback one by one.

"Then it was written, talking to the royal family, so that the adult Haltmut could get permission to participate in the ritual,"

It seems Haltmoot insists that it takes an administrator to carry the tools necessary for divinity, and that's the same thing that Ferdinand did last year when he brought in the Bible.

"I just want to see Lady Rosemaine's ritual," I think.

Leonore nodded "I'm sure" to Eudit's voice, but Lauderich and Filine smiled face-to-face, seemingly unable to help.

"You can be sure that Eudit's words are genuine, but there are no gray clerics in the House of Lords who can prepare for the ritual, so I think you need a haltmoot who knows about divinity. Master Rosemayne can't have everything ready, can he?

Having seen up close the various things Hartmoot had been taught to become a cleric chief at the temple, the two know that there are also many fine decisions in preparing for divinity. I don't remember just knowing it, and I've never seen it because it's off-limits to anyone but clerics where they actually perform rituals. It is also difficult to prepare for a service ceremony only for those in Aerenfest's dormitories. We need someone who can take command of the whole thing.

"... looks like we're going to have to call Haltmoot"

I immediately wrote to you and asked you to deliver it to Eglantine. Whoever you ask a question or a favor to, Anastasius will give you an answer, so it would be easier to save you the hassle of delivering a letter there from the start.

And it looks like your letter arrived safely to Anastasius via Eglantine. A reply came in Ordonanz. A white bird allows Haltmoot to enter with Anastasius's voice, and goes on to say more.

"Father also participates in the ritual, so that he sends a roster of participants who have written the ritual instructions in detail. I get a lot of magic from a lot of people, so I have to thank them immediately."

The royal family thought it would be better to go through the ritual, but apparently the king decided to join them.

... I guess we really need the protection of the gods for real.

If you join this and learn how to pray, the royalty who is pouring a ton of magic for Jürgenschmitt will surely get a lot of protection. Unlike me, who thought it would be easier for the royalty at all, those around him, starting with Wilfried and Charlotte, had lost their complexion.

"Wait a minute! He said the king would join us!? Are you in too much trouble!?

"... it's an unexpected situation, but we can't call it off now, brother"

Charlotte said that with a slightly distant eye.

"... I just want you to work with me and give me your magic."

Charlotte looked at me with a very troubled smile in my words.

"Your sister is rich in magic, so much so that she figured out how to use it after giving you the protection of the gods, that maybe she doesn't put so much emphasis on magic, but in today's world of lack of magic, it's so important that she thinks the king has to thank you immediately."

"Only those who have become the best can give you words straight from the king. That's what you're saying to all the participants. The rituals they're about to perform are as difficult as that."

My plan to squeeze magic out of a lot of territory, though I didn't attach much importance to it because I was drooling, seems very difficult.

Looks like a little planning has become more important than I expected. I immediately write the ritual procedure and the list of participants on the wood plaque, causing them to be delivered to the outhouse of Anastasius.

"... If getting magic is so important, you might need a healing pill to participate in the award"

"Participation Award, is it?

blink my eyes to Charlotte. I nod cocklessly.

"It seems like I needed a lot of restorative drugs just to ditter with Dunkelferger to attend the ritual. Not just magic in this ritual, but healing pills will always be needed, won't they?

I would state that I thought for a moment that the burden on small and medium-sized territories would be too great if we needed both magic and restorative drugs. If we can restore magic immediately, we may divert the grievances that have taken away our magic.

"We're going to have a massive amount of magic from you, so why don't we hand out Ferdinand's kind restorative pills to restore the magic?

"Sister, although it may be a tip-off, you may also worry that that medicine will be accepted as harassment even if you take it. Do you have any medicines that are a little easier to drink and restore your magic powers?

With Brenrews' fruit, it would be a pretty easy recovery pill to take, but that's the only thing you can pick in Haldenzel. Not in the House of Lords.

"... there are medicines that only greatly restore magic, but you can't get out of fatigue, can you?

I think those unfamiliar with rituals will probably be very neat. You can't lose fatigue just because your magic is restored.

"It will be enough if the magic is restored. How about some more flavor than that?

"I don't think that's so bad"

"I can take that uncle's meds flat. I don't really trust Rosemaine's bad. Wouldn't it be better if we tasted it first?

Charlotte nodded over and over to Wilfried's suggestion, so I tried to make a pill in the dorm mixing room that would only restore magic.

Take it to the multi-purpose hall and have it tasted. It was Wilfried and Charlotte, the knight apprentices and tasters who collected the material, who became the experimental bench.

"... that doesn't taste so bad. It's not so much the same as a regular recovery pill."

"Resilience and recovery rates vary considerably. After all, it's better to have a gentle recovery pill."

If you want to distribute it to other territories because of this, I think it would be better to distribute something that is more effective. But that seemed to be my only opinion, usually taking kind-hearted restorative drugs. The knight apprentices, who are constantly using the normal healing pills they learn in lectures, shook their heads.

"Using normal healing pills, we feel fast enough to recover, and there's only one. We'll recover very much."

"Isn't it better to distribute something you can normally drink than to be estranged by taste and smell?

To the claims of the Cavalier apprentices and Charlotte, I have decided to distribute medicines that will only restore magic. With this restorative medicine, it is easy to make from materials that can be easily collected at the collection location, so there is no difficulty in collecting materials.

"Now we'll create this for the participants."

I couldn't get confirmation from Ferdinand if it was good to leak the recipe, so I asked Rhoderich and Muriella, who gave their names, to help me after ordering me to "speak out".

"Dear Rosemaine, I don't think it makes much difference if you go alone"

"It didn't help me much," said Rhoderich, tired of cutting the material and taking time to prepare, and Muriella, smiling, "Master Rosemaine, you can't cage yourself in the preparation room," began to carry a box of medicine out of the preparation room.

And the morning of the ceremony. Haltmoot arrived as we Lordship candidates finished breakfast and were making a final confirmation in the multi-purpose hall.

"Dear Rosemaine, I have carried the tools of divinity. We also have a ritual costume here."

"Richarda, Greater. Please bring your ritual costume to your room so you can get dressed."

As Richarda and Gretia begin to move, so do the side servants of Vilfleet and Charlotte.

"Dear Wilfried and Charlotte, there are no precious winter coloured decorative strings, etc. We have strings and cloths ready near each side that are likely to replace us"

They said the castle's servants looked for something that looked just fine in their hand.

"The ritual starts in the afternoon. I have to get the royal family in touch to open up the deepest part of the day and be ready in the morning. You can use some of the civilian apprentices and escort knights from the Lordship Candidate, so can I ask you to prepare them?

"I'll take care of it. It is the ritual of Lady Rosemaine, the Virgin of Aerenfest. You have to make it perfect. Let us pray and give thanks to God that we have been allowed to participate in the rituals that take place in the House of Lords!

The surrounding gaze concentrates on Haltmut, who began praying in a costume for the ritual of the Blue Cleric. I'm a little worried about the very high tension, but it's very helpful that the royals are going for perfection because they're going to join us.

Horizontally watching Hartmoot pray to the gods, I asked the royal family to open the deepest part to prepare for divinity, flying Ordnants. They say only royalty or lord can open the deepest part of the altar. They will also need a royal presence in the House of Lords to do so.

"Ask Richarda and Greater to get ready to change. Otherwise, let's head to the bottom. It would be rude to arrive later than the royal family."

Wilfried and Charlotte also head to the deepest together, putting aside only the necessary side services for the preparation of the ritual garments. Asked the proximities to have the tools they needed for divinity, and as they waited in the auditorium, Hildebrandt came as soon as he could.

"Rosemaine"

"Kind regards, Prince Hildebrandt"

After a long greeting, Hildebrandt asks Artur to hold him up and touch the demonic stone on the wall to open the door that leads between the deepest. I was able to get in and out the same way I did during the ritual to gain protection.

"I usually ask my teachers to lend me a magic stone caged in royal magic to open it, but today I offered to do something about it."

Hildebrandt before enrollment in the House of Lords is not eligible to participate in today's ritual. Anastasius told me that he wanted to join him, but he refused because it was very bad to let the royalty faint.

He asked me to open the door just because I was feeling out of company, and I was allowed to do so.

The door opened so Hartmoot let everyone carry their stuff in and started getting ready as he waved his job to everyone. I tried to head with him and Brunhilde gently pulled my sleeve and smiled at me with a nickel. Apparently, my job is with Hildebrand.

"Until the ritual begins, my father commanded me not to let anyone in, except the Aerenfest, who will prepare."

"Prince Hildebrandt always works hard to find a job you can do."

He is so smiling that he boasts of the work he has been given, that I smile and nod, stating what I will do in today's ritual, being questioned by Hildebrandt.

"Rosemaine, there will be a lot of participants today, won't there? Where does the escort knight stand?

"No escort knights are allowed in divinity. Only the participants in the ritual will be able to get in the middle of this."

"... Huh?

Even though Hildebrandt blinked, I blinked, too.

"When we do divinity, only clerics are in that room. Even in the star knot ritual that the central temple does, right? I was very reluctant when I offered to attach an escort knight if I were to head the temple. The same is true this time, the escort knight will be asked to wait in the auditorium"

"What are you going to do with the royal protection, such as let go of the escort knight!?

I smiled nicely at Artur's voice.

"We will use the shield of Szczeria to sort it. No one is allowed to be malicious or harmful to the royal family from the very beginning."
