Ascendance of a Bookworm

Apostolic Part II of the gossip Lanzenave

Dietrinde decides to ask Martina to open a conference room nearby where we can talk calmly. Including the neighbors, they travel in groups of about fifteen, and Dietrinde recommends the chair to Leonzio.

"Dear Leonzio, what does it mean that Lanzenave will perish?

When Dietrinde urged him, Leonzio tried to think a little bit about it and said, "To what extent does Dear Dietrinde know what happened to Lanzenave?" I've been asking questions.

"I was taught about key imports as a trading partner in Arlensbach, but I didn't even learn about history in a House of Lords lecture."

Until now Dietrinde has been completely uninterested in the history of Lanzenave and has never wanted to know. I shouldn't have learned anything in the House of Lords lecture either.

"Isn't it known in Jürgenschmidt..."

Then, Leonzio began to tell the history of Lanzenave. Almost four hundred years ago, it seems to be about the time of King Oisavar. The name of the king I learned in history came up, but Dietrinde doesn't remember it very well. Listen to me with a face like I understand.

"When King Oisavar was old and had to choose the next Zent, there were three next Zent candidates who were getting Gluthrithheit"

"Well, the three of you get the glutris height...?

Dietrinde blinked. I thought Gluthrithheit was like a magic tool to determine Zent. Naturally there is only one thing to rule Jürgenschmidt, and he thought it was the one who got the Gluthrithheit that was Zent. I never thought it was something multiple people could get.

"Gluthrithheit is something to copy to Stalp, so it wouldn't be so surprising if more than one person had it, would it?

Leonzio tells me, as a matter of course, that Dietrinde hammers "Right". It cannot be said that Dietrinde, a nobleman of Jürgenschmitt, knows no more than those in other countries.

"And King Oisavar chose King Heil Eind, as you know, Dear Dietrinde,"

... Speaking of which, you also had a Zent with that name. What did you do, King?

Because of this lack of notable merit, Dietrinde thinks with a smile and a nod to the king's name, which is seldom touched upon in the lecture. I just thought about it, and I can't think of anything at all.

"I wasn't convinced that he wasn't eventually chosen by Zent. When Torquenheit held his own magic equipment and demonic stones, he flew out of Jurgenschmitt in search of new heavens and earth"

With his own wife and children, then, with his proximity, Torquenheit boarded a boat and crossed the border gate, jumping out of Jürgenschmidt. Beyond the transfer formation was a land called Lanzenave, where only those who could not use magic could.

Having made sure that the land was lean but a place where people could manage to live, Torquenheit used the gluthrithheit they had in their hands to create the magic of the foundations and create a city for them to live in in Entovickern.

"People were stunned by the ship that suddenly emerged from nothing, the white city that was made in an instant, and began to worship the Torquenheit as one who came from the kingdom of God. Torquenheit is to reign in Lanzenave as king."

It is the same with Jürgenschmidt that whoever gets the Gluthrithheit is worshipped like God. He is the one who was allowed to photograph Mestionora's divine artifacts. Respect as one who is recognized by God.

Dietrinde gets Gluthris Height and joys in imagining herself receiving a simultaneous glance of praise and respect from everyone. We have to get the Gluthris Height fast.

"But there was a huge problem with the Torquenheit, which became worshiped like God. I can't have children between a line of torquenheits from Jürgenschmitt and the unwittingly Lanzenave. And Gluthrithheit is a copy of it on Starp. Naturally, with the death of Torquenheit, Gluthrithheit will be lost."

... well. So you've lost Jürgenschmidt's gluthrithheit.

Dietrinde has figured out how the coup d 'état happened.

King Traokvar's half-brother, the second prince, who was supposed to inherit Zent, died and the Gluthrithheit disappeared. Neither the first prince who fought the battle, nor the third prince who was fought, knew that it was something to be copied in Staaap, so they were fighting without knowing that it was something that disappeared with the death of the second prince. And I still don't know where Gluthris Height is.

... where should I go to copy it?

If Leonzio's story is correct, it will mean that there is a gluthris height somewhere and we have to photograph it. I think Dietrinde should be able to photograph the magic formation and become the next Zent candidate.

"We can maintain the city even after the death of Torquenheit because we can supply magic if we are those registered for basic sorcery, but that's only a story if we have someone with a stamp. The city will all collapse because the foundations cannot be maintained by all those who do not have a stamp. Master Dietrinde is the next Aub, so you know that, right?

"Yes, of course."

Dietrinde also learns in a lord's candidate lecture what a stamp needs to do to get basic magic. However, the Lordship Candidate in the House of Lords didn't think it was the kind of content that I had to bother to write down because everyone had gotten a stamp as of freshman year. But it was a matter of death for those who went abroad and made the city out of sorcery. The country will collapse if there is no one with a stamp and if there is no one who can inherit the magic of the foundation.

"It was the royalty and its side that went to Lanzenave, so we have a highly magical child. I get the same education from my parents who have been educated in the House of Lords as the nobles of Jürgenschmitt. But you can't get a stamp outside of Jürgenschmidt. Torquenheit went back to Jürgenschmidt and asked his son to give him a stamp in the ZENT of Jürgenschmidt in order to inherit the magic of the foundation"

But that was unacceptable. Because only the nobility of Jürgenschmidt gets a stamp. It is not the meanness or anything of Zent at the time, because those who are not registered as nobles of Jürgenschmitt cannot get a stamp.

"For this reason, we sent the princess from Lanzenave to Jürgenschmidt to ask her to return her as King of Lanzenave after her birth child had grown up and obtained the Starp. At the time when Lanzenave was wary of having power, Zent put a constraint on returning only one person per generation, pressing for a choice between returning a man or a woman."

Torquenheit said it bothered him. Since the magic of the child to be born depends on the magic of the mother, it is better to have the girl returned in order for the Royal Family of Lanzenave to maintain its high magic.

But even though only one in a generation can be returned, it becomes a matter of death and death for Lanzenave that the Queen with the Starp continues to be pregnant and unable to use witchcraft. There are also a number of highly magical women in Lanzenave, such as the families nearby and their own daughters, and it is easier to increase the number of children having men returned. Torquenheit decided to have the boy returned.

"It should have been a bilateral promise to have the princess accepted at Jürgenschmidt and to return to Lanzenave as king after the princess's born boy had grown up and got a stamp. Yet, such as refusing to accept the princess..."

Leonzio distorts his expression painfully. You're offering a princess to defend your country, but if you refuse to do so, you'll have to be on your way. Dietrinde is starting to hurt his own chest, too. At the same time, I have been sincerely angry with King Traokvar for breaking his promise. I want to drag him down from Zent's seat right now, doing all the insane things from next to next.

"Since the arrival of a number of demonic stones about a decade ago, non-trade relations have been plump and interrupted. Besides, what can we do if they refuse to accept the princess..."

Gripping his fist tightly on the table, Dietrinde was determined to see Leonzio drip.

"I will tell Master Ferdinand the situation from me, and I will ask Zent to do the same. Don't worry. I'm the next Zent candidate."

Leonzio dyed his amber eyes with surprise and said, "Next Zent candidate......?," he looks at Dietrinde with a grunt. I feel comfortable with the praise and expectations in those eyes. Dietrinde smiled nicely towards Leonzio.

Listening to the circumstances of Lanzenave from Leonzio, Dietrinde called Ferdinand as soon as possible the next day to sit across from him at the table to give an explanation. The royal family sent the princess so that Lanzenave would not perish with his old promise. And sue you for how terrible a king Traokvar is to break a promise.

"So I want King Traokvar to explain the situation and reconsider it."

It is Ferdinand's role to negotiate face-to-face with the royalty. I want measures well worked out by the summer funeral, Dietrinde smiles.

If I knew what was going on, I would have thought Ferdinand would also be a little more cooperative with Lanzenave. But Ferdinand didn't seem to be heartbroken at all. I poked my cheek wand at the table and stared at Dietrinde to see how he was doing "... is that all? I said."

"That's all, what does that mean?

"As it is. It only states a lot more convenient for Lanzenave, and there is no particularly novel information. I don't see any circumstances in which Zent would turn his opinion around."

"What the hell!? Lanzenave will perish. Master Ferdinand has no idea how hard it is for no one to inherit Zent or Aub!?

It was an incredible statement. Are you sure this guy was listening to himself when he said Lanzenave would collapse? Maybe you don't have a head to understand. Dietrinde stared at Ferdinand.

"It is a great deal that Lanzenave will perish. People were able to live even before the Torquenheit moved, so the circumstances are completely different from those of Jürgenschmidt, who magically filled and created the white sand. Even if it were to perish, it would be the extent to which the city created by Torquenheit would collapse."

Even as Dietrinde stared at him, Ferdinand said so quietly, smiling as if nothing had happened.

"It's not true for Jürgenschmidt, even if it's a matter of dying for Lanzenave without the men who got the Starp. There are very few advantages to accepting a princess. Even where Lanzenave is doomed, with Gluthris Heights you can close the border gates and open them for another location. It doesn't have to be Lanzenave"

Dietrinde stared at Ferdinand.

"You don't have that glutris height now, do you?

"... yes, but there will be those who will get it in the not-too-distant future"

"Of course, I'm going to do my best to find it, but don't you know when you'll get it"

"Well, yeah," Ferdinand agreed powerlessly after a few blinks to Dietrinde's words. This is where I say, "Help yourself," but Ferdinand is unresponsive. Wouldn't I be a little too neglected by the female mind?

"You said that Master Ferdinand has few advantages, but now the royalty is small in number, so the princess's inclusion should lead to great advantages, right?

While Dietrinde showed the advantage of embracing the princess with his chest outstretched, Ferdinand shook his neck sideways, "We should not allow anyone from other countries who is likely to get Gluthris Heights in Jürgenschmidt today," he said.

"Accepting a princess would be an advantage to have more royalty, but now accepting a princess rich in magic would cause confusion in her succession to the throne. I guess the royal family refused to accept the princess because they didn't make it good."

At the very least, Ferdinand seems concerned that it is reasonable to postpone the acceptance of the princess until the legitimate Zent, who has obtained the Gluthris Height, stands, and that Jürgenschmidt will be taken over as it stands now.

Dietrinde accidentally glanced at Ferdinand's weak-hearted attitude, which he never attempted to move while talking about the circumstances of his laziness and royalty alone.

"Don't you just say that Master Ferdinand is afraid to give Zent an opinion, even if you say that for the most apparent reason?

"I don't think I can find any point in bothering to challenge Zent's decision because the clan that was worshipped as God in Lanzenave will only lose its power"

Would it really be good for Arlensbach to have shoulders from other countries to contest Zent's decision, Ferdinand said?

"I can somewhat imagine what end they will follow as royalty, but that is not necessarily the doom of Lanzenave. Civilization will undoubtedly recede with the collapse of the city that was at its centre, but just looking at the odd shape of the ship seems like a different technology going on than Jürgenschmidt. Other than royalty, you may not bear a great deal of pain."

If we change our view, Ferdinand talks about all the things Dietrinde doesn't want, whether it's a good opportunity to keep the power of Lanzenave sharpened at a time when Jürgenschmitt is unstable or if anything happens, we should dye the foundation as quickly as possible so that we can close the boundary gate.

... I can't believe you said something so cold about me talking to Master Leonzio.

No one would be better suited to call me Avery Be to just say that I don't mind if the royal family of Lanzenave just perishes because I was made an excommunication from the discussion.

"Dear Ferdinand, Hear not what I desire. I do not want Leonzio and his men to suffer badly. Please know."

"You're telling me you don't want me to get badly eyed when you say accept the princess of Lanzenave? Lanzenave's messengers would not have told you deeply, either, that you, a woman, but that the princesses of Lanzenave could be put out of the house..."

"Isn't that the treatment Lanzenave wanted," Dietrinde blocks Ferdinand from trying to talk about the princess of Lanzenave. It doesn't matter to Dietrinde how the princess is treated. That's not what Dietrinde thinks, because he comes prepared to do what he treats you like.

"Then Master Dietrinde should accept whatever treatment the princess who came prepared to do," he said?

Ferdinand stares straight at Dietrinde with thin gold eyes. From a painful glance, I could see that Ferdinand desperately suppressed the higher emotions. I guess it's so intolerable that Dietrinde had the shoulders of Leonzio, a man, not a princess. But there's no way Dietrinde can pull it off here. I stared at Ferdinand and nodded loudly.

"Yeah, you're right. The princess will take care of the treatment after coming here if she complains to her parents and asks them to improve the treatment in discussions with Zent. Nothing compared to the collapse of Lanzenave."

To Dietrinde's words Ferdinand smiled deeper with Nicoli. Looks like Dietrinde's claim finally got through.

"You seem to understand. Above all. Please be sure to ask Zent for the summer funeral."

"Compared to the confusion of Jürgenschmitt with the acceptance of the princess, there is nothing about the collapse of Lanzenave or anything else. I support Zent's decision."

I didn't know the meaning of Ferdinand's words for a moment. It took a few seconds to understand that my request had been rejected, and at the same time Dietrinde exploded his anger.

"What do you mean, Master Ferdinand!?

"Having come to Arlensbach with a royal decree, it was not the kind of circumstance that seemed to me to have to give priority to Lanzenave, not King. I think it would be a good idea for you to wait until the next Zent stands"

No matter how angry Dietrinde was, Ferdinand did not change his expression or opinion, and if he did not succeed King Traokvar, he ran out of objections.

"I don't know anyone like you who doesn't know and is cold! I can't believe my fiancée was like this... I don't even want to see your face for a while. Please leave now."

"Yes, sir."

Ferdinand smiles softly and immediately takes his seat as he says and leaves the room. Dietrinde is so offended, I won't make it a one-stop deal.

... I can't believe that's my fiancée!

Dietrinde spent the day cursing Ferdinand, arranging all the cursing murmurs he could think of. What should I talk to Leonzio about? Sad to disappoint Leonzio, who has relied on Dietrinde, Dietrinde contacted the hall where the Lanzenave envoys spend their time.

"Master Ferdinand is a very cold man. I never thought I'd be like that before."

In the hall where the emissary, known as the Lanzenave Hall, stays, Dietrinde apologizes for his failure to persuade Ferdinand, and at the very least tells him that he will do his utmost to ensure that the visit is fulfilled.

"Dear Dear Dietrinde, you are not only beautiful, you are kind. I wanted to meet you sooner."

Stared by Leonzio's amber eyes, Dietrinde dyes his cheeks. Since polite rhetoric is often used in Jürgenschmidt, it is rarely so directly praised. Besides, Leonzio is a beauty with a good face. I don't like it, but my heart is pounding. Feeling the visit of Blue Ampha, Dietrinde haunts.

... Don't let the goddesses flirt with you here.

Dietrinde is the next Zent candidate, and even if he couldn't be Zent, he's the next Aub Ahrensbach. Even though I have Ferdinand as my fiancée, I can't be in love with Leonzio of Lanzenave.

"I'm glad to hear how Master Leonzio feels... I'm the next Zent candidate, so I can't follow your heart."

"Has Master Dietrinde already had a Gluthris Height?

"I'm still looking," Dietrinde glanced down slightly at Leonzio's words and shook her neck sideways. And give Leonzio "It's just a story here" and an anti-bugging magic device. Not much bad talk about Gluthrithheit or about royalty is a good thing to say publicly. By handing them the magic tools to prevent eavesdropping, they become a place for private discussion that should not be made public.

"Actually, in Jürgenschmidt nowadays, royalty without gluthrithheit is limiting information so that no one else can look for it. I'm qualified, too, but I'm not going anywhere near Gluthris Heights."

"What do you mean... Such things are allowed…"

Leonzio showed outrage at the royalty, who was placing information restrictions to prevent legitimate zents from standing. Received that was the word for worrying about herself, Dietrinde dyed her cheeks even more. I felt like I could see the flower goddess Efrolleroome in her enthusiasm and tenderness right after her fiancée took a cold attitude.

"Master Leonzio is sweet of you to be angry with me that way. Master Ferdinand is just jealous and doesn't worry about me that way."

Smiling furiously, Leonzio said with a slightly troubling bare gesture, "Dear Dietrinde, do you love your current fiancée?," he asked.

"Master Ferdinand is the fiancée ordained by the royal decree. I had no right of veto. [M] I know they love you, but if you look cold like that, I..."

Dietrinde is no longer confident that he can love him for what he says and does with cold Ferdinand. I know exactly what Gedurlich feels like right now in Dietrinde wanting to get away from AVILLIBE, who is just jealous.

"I'm an inescapable fiancée. So, Master Leonzio. Please keep this a secret."

"... would you take my hand if I told you I could let you get away from your terrible fiancée?

Confused by the incredible Leonzio words, Dietrinde blinks again and again.

"What are you talking about, Master Leonzio?

"I can't be the Zend because I don't have the Starp that I would have if I were a candidate for ZENT for Jürgenschmidt....... but I know where the glutris height is. I can help you become a Zent."

"What the...?

Dietrinde swallowed cockles and spit at Leonzio's offer. There's someone in front of me who knows where Gluthris Height is that I wanted to know. And he's offering assistance to Dietrinde, not to the current royalty. Wouldn't this be exactly the guide of Drefangua?

"If Dear Dietrinde will accept me as your companion, I will tell you where it is"

Dokiri's chest rang. Leonzio's companionship was an irresistibly sweet temptation for Dietrinde. Unlike Ferdinand, Leonzio is close to his age, has no problems with his blood muscles, and has no stains like he was in the temple. Although it is difficult to grow up in other countries, Jürgenschmidt's aristocratic education seems to be received, and the blood of the royal family is thick.

The Royal Family of Lanzenave is a clan that continues to incorporate the blood of men returning from Jürgenschmidt because the local people and sons will not let them. Royal blood is arguably the darkest of the Jürgenschmitts today.

"But my fiancée is determined by royal fate..."

"Dear Dear Dietrinde, if you become Zent, you will have no meaning whatsoever, such as the order of a false king who has no gluthrithheit either"

I smelled fluffy and sweet from Leonzio. It's a sweet smell I'd like to feel closer. Just a little bit, Dietrinde embarks herself towards Leonzio.

"Is Mr. Ferdinand the kind of man who takes an attitude toward his precious fiancée, no matter how many circumstances he explains, he doesn't have an island to install? You're a cold man who doesn't even try to listen to the petty favors of his lovely fiancée, right?

Leonzio slowly packs Ferdinand with a gentle smile and words.

Dietrinde just kept repeating the complaints he said earlier, but Ferdinand seemed like a terrible fiancée to others, for some reason. It blows in if there's no point in being forced into a terrible fiancée. Speaking of which, I remembered from the beginning that if I became a Zent, the engagement was meant to dissolve.

"Master Ferdinand looks very much like my uncle. Probably the one who draws Lanzenave's blood. If you're going to make Lanzenave's blood-drawer your fiancée, don't you think it's okay if I'm standing next to you?

"... right"

"It's good when it's the next Zent. Make me your companion."

That said, Leonzio reaches out to Dietrinde with a gentle smile.

"Dear Dietrinde, please take my hand. I want you to be the next Zent."

Nearby people who don't even know what they're talking about because they're holding an anti-bugging magic tool, but I guess they found out Leonzio reached out to Dietrinde. Martina changed her complexion and said, "You mustn't, Dear Dietrinde!" He raised his voice.

Stay out of my way.

Shaking off Martina's stop, Dietrinde takes his seat and approaches Leonzio with a fluffy dream. I desperately thought with a head that didn't turn well somehow. If this opportunity is missed, it will be harder for Dietrinde to get the Gluthris Height.

... This is the guide of the goddess of time, Drefangua, and Master Leonzio must be the one destined for whom the goddess of bondage, Liebesque Hilfe, is about to unite.

Dietrinde lay his hands on Leonzio's with such certainty.
