Ascendance of a Bookworm

Children's room in winter and the beginning of the House of Lords

When the winter social world begins, the child is transferred to the children's room. I received greetings from the children I met for the first time and proceeded with my studies and games, taking care not to let the children of the old Veronicans be left out of the company or harassed.

The children of the age who go to the House of Lords are treated with particular indifference because they spent a period of solemnity together in the House of Lords, or because they want to maintain an atmosphere that does not change in the House of Lords even if things change when they creep around.

Is it attached to that, nor can we see the giggled air in the children before they were admitted to the House of Lords. Everyone is desperate to earn treats by passionately passionate about the game or excellence in their study time.

"I thought the atmosphere would be a little worse, but the atmosphere is better than I expected."

"Mm-hmm. I was worried that Charlotte might have an atmosphere like a children's room when Rosemaine was gone, but she wasn't."

Aub and his wife get busy socializing, so only the kids have dinner together. For this reason, after dinner, it will be a place to talk slowly about the children's room reflections and plans in the House of Lords. They use an anti-bugging magic device that specifies the scope so that they can speak their opinions without objection.

Charlotte and Vilfried were relieved that the atmosphere in the children's room didn't get any worse. Melchior seems happy with the fun kids room.

"Aerenfest is probably the only one involved in adult factional strife, and the House of Lords is somewhat familiar with the feeling of working together to beat the rest of the realm. I want you to maintain this atmosphere."

"You have to grow up with that feeling and nurture a nobleman who sees a relationship with other territories over a power struggle within Aerenfest."

I turn my gaze to Merhior, also nodding Wilfried at Charlotte's words.

"What amazes me is that Merhior is unexpectedly leading the kids well. I was worried last year because I was isolated from the north for Solemnity, but this year I think I'll be able to lead the children's room with no problems."

"Brother, I think that's because I was playing games and talking to everyone in the Temple orphanage. It's a little crowded, but it doesn't change much."

Melchior laughed nicholly and said so. As he says, his experience in the orphanage seems to be helping, and he sometimes looks like he can see his surroundings rather than immerse himself in the game.

"What worries me is my first-year learning progress this year. I would have had fewer opportunities to learn in the children's room last year...... Will it be all right?

If you're in school, you've been in the kids' room for about two years, so there's not that much of a problem. Whether they can all score high is a delicate thing, but they can pass the first day. However, I know very well that I haven't practiced fesh peel enough. Compared to last year, there is a sharp difference between lower and intermediate aristocracy.

"Sister, I can't help worrying here. Have our musicians practice at least a little while they are around, or check their individual learning progress carefully."

In Charlotte's words, Wilfried said, "Individually check your learning progress…. Don't revive your freshman nightmare," he murmurs, beware not to run wild at me.

... There's no way you're going to storm off even though the library isn't on, disrespectful.

"I was worried that Dilk and Beltram would tame well, but I was relieved that they both seemed okay"

Both Dilk and Beltram were playing Carta and Trump games in orphanages, so they were happy to get treats when they won the game. Though I think it's because of our eyes, they don't treat us as obviously evil, and they look familiar.

But Dirk has been determined to be a nobleman for about six months. Even if you can win the game, you're pretty vulnerable to history and geography, and you have to work hard to practice fesh peel. Above all, the challenge is to remember common sense as an aristocrat.

The challenge would be for Beltram to have to review his position in every situation. He was an intermediate nobleman close to advanced without even Solemn Qing, but now he is an intermediate nobleman who was baptized as an orphan. Bottom line among intermediate aristocrats. This difference is huge. Now that the baptism is over, I can't even call Laurenz my brother. I know very well that I am confused by my position.

"This is the first time a nobleman has been baptized by an orphanage following Aub's hindsight. There will be no choice but to be careful in the children's room so that you do not suffer too much disadvantage"

"Yes, Sister Rosemaine"

The blue apprentices sleeping in the children's room of the old Veronicans in the castle don't seem that inconvenient either. "It calms me down better in the temple where I have my side to serve, but I'm fine," one of the blue witch apprentices said. They deepened their subordination through a long journey called the Harvest Festival. Seems a little lonely away. I know how that feels because I miss Frans when I leave them with a knowledgeable mind.

"I hope those who hold grudges against the old Veronicans and those who hard hit the children are attached as a side service to the children's room.... it was the adoptive mother who appointed you, wasn't it? Does Charlotte know who the sidekick is in the room where he sleeps?

"It's okay, sister. I will go to the House of Lords, and I will serve my side. Don't worry."

It seems that Charlotte put her side on instead of her adoptive mother, who has to be about her newborn child. That's comforting.

"Oh, yeah, yeah. Charlotte, I got what I was ordering from a blacksmith."

"Are you done yet? I'm glad, sister."

A pendant top like a coin with a crest is complete. Of course, it's a gift for Charlotte, and it's not as simple as a coin because the two of us thought about the design. It is quite luxurious because it has been carved around the crest with a watermark carving to obtain Charlotte's female imprint and the symbol of God who wants to obtain protection. The delicate and fine decoration was Johan's specialty, so it had a pretty nice finish.

There is a hole in the symbols of the gods so that a small demon stone can enter, and Charlotte is supposed to put the demon stone in himself. To use it as an amulet to gain the protection of the gods, not for defense, they feel that using their demonic stones is easier for magic to pass through and prayer to reach.

"Sister Rosemaine, what are you talking about?

"Charlotte asked me to make a pendant top with my crest because I wanted something that I could see my sisters' connection even when I was away."

"I'm also my sister and brother, don't you have my share?

Melchior has looked at me sadly clouding his expression. I have trouble being seen with such a face.

"I made it because I was happy with Charlotte's thought of wanting a mark that seemed like a sister even when I left. You don't want me to push you to think you're my sister, do you? If you go to another territory, it's someone else, and if you end your adoption with Aub, it's even worse."

Given what they say in their natural faces that if they leave, they won't be others, no matter if they ask for it, I can't very well give a testimony of my sister and brother from here.

"I respect my sister Rosemaine, and I will miss her when she leaves. I want proof of my sister and brother, too."

"If Melchior thinks so, I'll make it. Order now and Johann will make it during the winter."

I don't know how deep the snow is yet. I should be able to get my order to Johann by now. I've heard that I have time because I can't go outside in the winter, and now it would be more distracting to give Johann a job.

And it came to pass, when I had accepted, that Melchior smiled. As I explained Charlotte's design while the two of us contemplated and designed a pendant top for Merhior, Wilfried next door also began to paint something.

"I like this, Rosemaine."

"... Huh? Does Brother Wilfried want a connection with me, too?

Regardless of Charlotte and Merhior, who were nostalgic to me, Vilfleet hated my engagement immensely, and told me quite everything I wanted to say. I don't know what it means to want a connection with me now. When I showed my dissatisfied face, Wilfried turned out to be just a little bit of a bumpy face.

"A sibling relationship would be fine. I've felt it sincerely for a while now."

The tingling atmosphere of Vilfleet is disappearing beautifully. Does that mean I passed the puberty of a pointed knife for saying everything I wanted to say?

To be honest, I don't know how to change my attitude so far. We didn't do anything like fiancée, so I wasn't particularly unconscious before, during, or after the decision to dissolve the engagement. Yet, Wilfried has changed his attitude by the way.

"Brother Wilfried's response has changed a lot since we decided to dissolve our engagement, but are our fiancées and siblings so different?

"Isn't it completely different?... Oh, maybe you still don't know who it is? Um, I think if you grow up, you'll see. I didn't know the difference when I got engaged."

"Do you know now?

"Ah. Brothers and sisters and fiancées are completely separate, and sooner or later they and I should have had the same result. I can't stand it very much."

"I hope Rosemaine grows fast too," Wilfried said with a smile full of superiority after running his gaze slightly from my head to the bottom. And Wilfried gives me the design I want. He looked kind of really enlightened, and I received the design painting with a little regret for feeling grown up earlier.

... Oh, but you haven't grown at all into this pointless focus on cool.

The next day, ask Johann to send an order to the Gilberta Chamber of Commerce so that he can place it immediately.

From then on, I spent my days discussing the children's room at dinner until the day I left for the House of Lords, doing a preview of the House of Lords, and discussing the service procedure with the Haltmoots.

On the day of my fourth grade departure, me and Wilfried left for the House of Lords.

"Please be generous here, Master Rosemaine. I will prepare your room with Greater Tier."

It was the Lieselator who came to the House of Lords to replace Richarda as an adult sidekick. Since Brunhilde, a senior aristocrat, is still near my side this year, the reason is that he can be entrusted to interact with the royal family and the upper territories, that Otilier must have Aerenfest stay in order to hold Clarissa, who is leaving a message, and that he needs a facial connection if he is to go to the center with me.

"Lieselator, please make sure you are ready for the last Haltmut or Brother Cornelius' room for the service ceremony as well"

"Yes, sir."

When Lieselator and Greater go to unpack, Brunhilde will take you to the multi-purpose hall. I speak with Brunhilde, who is holding me back on the side, drinking the tea that Brunhilde has brewed me for a long time.

"Brunhilde, how's Grechel?

"The proximity of the Lords' clan has made it very beautiful thanks to their cooperation. Clarissa's auxiliary sorcery regiment for wide-area sorcery was fantastic. In the fall, more and more baggage was brought in from woodworking workshops here and there, and in no time did doors and windows fit into the building. Your father stroked his chest down, glad to see the sight of a lot of carriages going out and keeping the commercial district road wide open. I think the stores are getting their interiors done this winter."

One after the other, the craftsmen come and organize the building, and as they do so, more and more supplies for the winter support of the craftsmen are brought in from the surroundings. The population has suddenly grown and Grechelle seems to be showing great buzz.

"How's Bertilde coming in as a freshman? How am I supposed to deal with this?

"Bertilde looks forward to serving Master Rosemayne, and I am glad to have it as I served Master Elvira"

It seems that Brunhilde's answer is that she wants me to serve her as my side-service apprentice this winter alone. I soon accepted.

"Brunhilde will train Bertilde, won't he? If so, could you take Melchior's side around with you? I'm supposed to keep the side of Merhior's students, but you won't be allowed in my room, will you? At the very least, I'd like you to just give me the opportunity to see what I wouldn't know if I didn't actually look at it, such as rooting and preparing for a tea party with the top territories."

It is Brunhilde who has the experience of interacting with the most senior territories. I want you to raise as many successors as possible before you graduate.

"Yes, I did. It's for Aerenfest from now on. I want to do the best I can."

Brunhilde told me through her adoptive mother that she had received the cloth of Arlensbach, and praised me for my judgment in setting up the First Lady.

"It was tough for the old Risegang to flourish when we were about to change generations, and it's a promise to Aub to set up Master Florencia. Lady Rosemayne helped me set up Lady Florencia."

My adoptive mother and Brunhilde are in the same faction. Because of this, the women's faction is cohesive, but they can't break the faction at this time of year.

"Neglect to socialize won't help me that much, but I'll help you as much as I can."

"I'm afraid so. … but it is my job to help, Master Rosemaine"

Brunhilde rises up laughing furiously. The next thing I did was Muriella. I have been told that I give my name to my mother and keep her busy for the printing industry.

"Dear Rosemaine, thank you again in the House of Lords"

"Nice to meet you, Muriella. What about the printers?

"Using the magic transfer formations that Lady Rosemaine has proposed to move with less magic, we are disturbing our minds with the civilians whether we can't send them from all over the place to the castle just for the sample. I have used it many times to confirm the trial printing, so there is a challenge in the fact that it is highly degraded and can't save a little more magic."

Apparently your mother is suggesting and working hard to get me a new book as soon as possible.

... Mother!

"I think you should tell Reimnt at Hillsur Laboratories about your current challenges and get advice on how to improve them, or Muriella can study them with you. I'm busy making magic equipment for the library this year."

With gratitude I recommended Muriella to study with Reimund.

The next day Charlotte arrives, and the next day Theodore also joins us as a flank and tells us about the Gutenbergs who were staying in Kilnberga.

When the sophomore arrives and exhales, it's a collection of materials for use in lectures. Although some senior year knight apprentices have already gone to collect materials, the civilian and side-service apprentices have not yet done so. We all go together so that there is less danger.

Jump out of the dorm aboard the horseman. The escort knight apprentice in the passenger seat is Eudit. When I went outside, I saw a glowing line over the sky. It's the magic formations we saw during the Lords' Conference. Curious as to what the hell the magic formation is, I raise the altitude of the horseman to see the whole picture of the magic formation.

"Dear Rosemaine, how far are you going up?

Asked by Eudit with a strange face, I was hacked. There are confused escort knight apprentices chasing around with horsebacks.

"I really want to go up more, but something we all worry about. Let's go home."

And when I went down to the gathering place, I stretched out a shield of shuzeria on some of them.

"I will only lay down my shield so that there is no danger. Let us not all regenerate the gathering place so that we may obtain the protection of the gods by divinity. Adults who came to the House of Lords during the Lords' Conference are recovering, so we can all do it."

Because the students in the other realms are themselves, Aerenfest may have to do the same, which means that only Aerenfest students receive less protection. Besides, I'll be gone next year. We have to see to what extent we can recover. As far as divinity is concerned, Aerenfest has taken a step forward so far, so I want everyone to do their best.

"You should collect more materials for restorative medicine making. There's also a service ceremony, so you'll need it more than usual."

Filine collects a lot of material for the recovery pills and participates in the ceremony of recovery of the collection site with a temperamental face. I teach the eulogy, and the students pray to Fruitlène as they circle and recite. Collection sites recover just as they did during the Lords' Conference. The collection site recovered safely, although junior aristocrats and junior year children left their hands off the ground en route.

"Me, I'm going to go up high with a horseman to make sure because I have a little concerns. Brother Wilfried and Charlotte must lead us all back to the dorm first."

"What will your sister be confirmed?

"... it's a secret because it's a royal case"

"Okay. Take care."

It doesn't make sense to say it because it's a magic formation no one else can see. And as I boarded the Lesser Bus, I went up into the air. Run up high, high, over parts where there is a line of magic.

"Dear Rosemaine, how far are you going!?

"Up to a height overlooking the House of Lords. Almost there, Eudit."

I went up as I told Eudit, freaked out, that I had never been up so high, and I looked down. The precious lines of the gods run to cover the grounds of the House of Lords, stained with snow and white, into a magic formation. The only place ahead of the magic formation is the Cloud Sea. Somehow, it also looked like the House of Lords was being created to match the magic formation.

... sorting magic formations.

The magic formations that covered the House of Lords were for sorting kings, just as they had emerged at the beginning of the temple chief's sacrament and on the stage of the service dance. Things have not seemed to change at all since the time of the Lords' Conference. They didn't disappear, although it may well be because I wasn't in the House of Lords, who created the magic formation around the temple.

... I was out at the temple serving my magic and praying all over it, so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with sorting the king... Would it make a difference if I became the king's adopted daughter and was registered to the royal family?

The Bible has no details, and where the Magic Formation came out, there's no change in description. I was open to scripture every time I was divine, so if there was any change, I'd know for sure. The books in the basement library aren't in much detail either. Maybe it's in the part where we haven't read it yet, but the record over there is that the people who struggled to be kings said, "We struggled, too. You have to struggle, too," all I have is a thrust of tips.

... all you need to do to move the magic formation is magic, so if you wave a blessing from this top, it moves or something? Or try dropping a larger demon stone full of magic? No, but it's just hard to get the whole House of Lords to deliver magic, and it's dangerous if you drop demon stones. Hmmm......

I've been trying to figure out how to get this magic formation up and running, but I can't think of a very good idea.

... I came out with a prayer, do you also have a prayer for activation? Want to take another tour of the temple? Or was there somewhere else besides the temple to pray? I pray pretty much everywhere...

Nothing in particular happened, although a service ceremony for the Lords' Conference was held in the auditorium after this magic formation came out.

"Did you find out anything, Master Rosemaine?

"I have something I see, but I'm not sure I know what's ahead, so I'm going back to the dorm."

My idea of poverty is not what has begun now. You won't be able to keep the escort knights company forever for not knowing if you'll get an answer.

"Hey, Eudit. Where do you say we pray in the House of Lords?

"I prayed at the collection site earlier, but isn't it usually the back of the auditorium where you pray? You pray where the altar is, right?

Praying pretty much anywhere I didn't immediately think of it, but it is up to the prayer room for ordinary people to pray. On second thought, I prayed in the auditorium during the Lords' Conference, not during the deepest part of the altar. Pray toward the altar between the deepest, something may happen.

... Is that the next service ceremony on the altar?

Maybe the magic team will work. I'm glad I noticed before something strange happened without any mind preparation. It would be better to contact the royal family before the service ceremony.

"Eudit, it's no big deal! I'm sure everyone will appreciate Eudit."

"Huh? Huh?

I went back to my dorm, laughing nicely at Eudit with a blinking eye that I could not understand.

The next day is the freshman's travel day. Bertilde, Brunhilde's sister, was brought into the multi-purpose hall by an upper class. Today's freshmen are welcomed and entertained by senior students as customers.

Bertilde was led to a seat near me, and my sister Brunhilde made me tea and smiled with joy. Sisters and very similar Sarah Sarah's straight hair shakes. Brunhilde's hair is deep red, but Bertilde's hair is rose pink. I think the creepy candy eyes look just like both of us.

"Welcome, Bertilde. As my side-service apprentice, do not learn well from Brunhilde"

"Yes, Master Rosemaine"

An apprentice near the side of Melchior is also brought around me to talk about the plans that lie ahead. If you want me to follow you to the library, I have to finish the lecture as soon as possible.

"Please study hard as freshmen should be able to finish the lecture first. Please do well for Melchior, the Lord."

"Ha!"

All the freshmen arrived with what Nicolaus had done. All the upper classmates are also in the multi-purpose hall. I will talk about this year's joint research and divide the civilian apprentices regardless of their proximity to the Lordship Candidates.

"Last year Drevanhell almost stole the research results from me at risk. Don't think about keeping secrets, last resort, or having a unique part of Aerenfest."

Darmuel, Angelica, Leonore, Haltmut and Brother Cornelius arrive while we talk about that. He is an adult member who participates in the service ceremony in a blue costume.

"We have a service ceremony this year in three parts: junior, intermediate, senior and lord candidates, so I know it's hard for all five of us to be in all divinity, thank you"

"We must be finished by Aerenfest's service ceremony. I will be at your disposal to coordinate your dates with the Central Temple and with Classenburg. Let's make it a lesson for Rosemayne."

Haltmoot smiles and undertakes. I think I can count on you very much at a time like this. It would have been perfect if I hadn't nibbled by touching the crested demon stone on my chest.

"Oh, ladies and gentlemen. You have it all. I'm Hillsur, the dorm warden."

As usual, Hillsur comes and informs him of his plans for this year. Advancement ceremonies and rapprochement meetings are just as usual. Upon completion of the explanation, Hirschühl came straight to me.

"Master Rosemaine, have you gathered the materials to make the magic equipment for the library? I was worried because there were so many rare materials."

"It's okay. Every piece of material was in a workshop conceded by Master Ferdinand."

"Well, that's Master Ferdinand. This will also advance my research. Relieved."

... Huh? What I was worried about was that it was for me!? After all, Dr. Hillsur and Master Ferdinand are definitely similiar mentors!

Life in the House of Lords begins with a sigh of giving up on the same Hillsur.

While I was all desperate to preview, I spent precious free time until the advanced ceremony in a long time reading. I will be reading new books printed all over Aerenfest in a multi-purpose hall. Ditter stories contain illustrations, as well as a number of new books, such as Dunkelferger's history book and the love story of the House of Lords as usual.

Since I decided to be the king's adopted daughter, I didn't have time to immerse myself in the book even if I could read the materials I needed to take over. When was the last time I lost track of time and missed a book? I exhale in contentment, remembering the fullness of drinking water where I was thirsty and had no choice.

... Oh, happiness. I knew you wouldn't feel alive without a book.
