Ascendance of a Bookworm

Battle of Gerlach Part 2

"It would have been best if we could have kept the blackmail going, but the Geebe Knights wouldn't hold it. Once you've broken through the center, ask the Aerenfest knights to heal first."

"Yes."

Ordonanz informed me that the Knights of Geebe had reinforcements, and they had already been contacted by the Lords' clan. They need to rendezvous as soon as possible with the current situation that is stirring them up until reinforcements arrive.

"I take the lead. Don't let Rosemaine and Hannelore ever slow down, and don't let the knights around you stop until they've broken through the enemy."

Ferdinand takes his own escort knight to the lead. The knights of Dunkelferger began to gather around me and Hannelore as they traveled by horseman towards the main battlefield. It looks like a formation is being taken toward a central breakthrough, with his own escort knight nearby but a blue cloak knight everywhere he turns. I can no longer even see Ferdinand or Brother Eckhardt's cloak from my position anymore.

"Cornelius, Leonore. Did Matthias and Laurenz come back?

The area is full of Dunkelferger blue cloaks, and the number of Aerenfest cloaks of his own escort knights is low. All I can see is a knight on a horseman, and everyone wears a helmet, so it's hard to tell who he is.

"... not yet"

"I don't know where the management cabin I went to check, but they're probably going to rendezvous at the rear"

In the words of Leonore I look back unexpectedly. It was just a blue cloak knight.

"Once you've broken through the enemy line, Lady Rosemaine and Lady Hannelore will be closest to the summer hall, behind the knights."

"Guardian knights do their utmost to protect their Lord!

As we nod at the instructions that are flown out of our surroundings, we adjust the speed of movement. Everywhere I look, I'm just a knight with a shield, blocked in sight by a cloak that gleams, and I don't know where I'm going right now. It was going without knowing.

Only the tight atmosphere of the knights around them came through so painfully that I couldn't see the war situation or the enemies that would be waiting for me, and my hand shaking the handle began to tremble. Desperately suppress the force about to cage in the foot stepping on the accelerator.

"Wow!?

Pah, pah, my surroundings dazzled unexpectedly. Look around reflexively. Apparently, he's in the range of a remote attack by magic, and the attack is being played by a shield set up by the knights.

I don't know the distance from the enemy, and as usual, I can only see the knights. My heart shrunk up just to dazzle here and there.

... I'm scared.

Most of them are preventable, but the arrows come down through between the knights. Scary things are scary, though they never come inside the Lesser Bus due to magic differences. I was about to cry and grab the steering wheel, but I could still afford to be scared.

The forward was stained with a complex shade of light like rainbow so much that the knights moving forward could only be seen in the shape of a shadow. An attack unleashed the accumulated magic at once. I don't know if you've launched an attack or if you're under it. I accidentally closed my eyes.

"Rosemaine, fit around!

And I opened my eyes in awe at the fury of my brother Cornelius, and hurriedly adjusted to my surroundings. Apparently, he wasn't attacked, this one launched the attack. Sometimes things seem to fly around where the light is blocked, but the shock waves are completely prevented by the shields of the knights.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!

The speed of the knights surrounding themselves increases little by little with a roar that releases unspeakable enthusiasm and emotion. I desperately adjusted my speed and aligned my movements so as not to procrastinate.

"We're going in! Don't be frightened! Continue to Master Ferdinand!

Shortly after I heard such a voice, things changed around me all at once. A loud voice stirred us up came from someone's mouth, and we could hear weapons and weapons hitting each other from nearby. The metallic noise the armor can make sounds much louder than earlier, pricking it in the ear.

Shortly after a red splash descended on my sight, which was all blue cloak, causing me to pull one of my throats, someone's arm flew to the front with the van. There was a loud noise and the entire horseman disappeared backwards at the same time as the rocking impact. I thought it was a mistake, but the blood trail left in the window tells me that the current scene is real. I kept stepping on the accelerator with the roots of my teeth not matching the feeling as if I had struck a person.

"Hih!?

Has it been a major attack, or a knight who was forward falls off the horseman and flies toward the Lesser Bus?

... brake!

"Hit me! Don't stop! Behind you will be a catastrophe!

Brother Cornelius' reprimand flew faster than I stepped on the brakes. The knight re-orbits and flies, bounced by an Angelican-like knight who came out of the side, before putting his foot back into the accelerator where he stepped on the brake. I can't even speak out because I'm tied to fear.

An escort knight, fueled by an attack around him, broke down his posture and hit the Lesser Bus. He disappears to be dialed and the voice of reprimand flies as he looks back.

"Look forward, Master Rosemaine!

I had the urge to eat up my teeth and look back. Keep going. Not just a blood splash, but someone's demonic stone hit Katsun, Katsun and the horseman. Passing scared, I was desperate not to be left behind.

"I'm out! Flip and attack! Kick it!"

There was a hopeful brightness in the raised voice. The knights of Dunkelferger change the direction of the horseman all the time.

"Lady Rosemaine and Lady Hannelore keep straight to the rear!

Shortly after I was told to go where the attack did not strike, I recalled Ferdinand's instructions. They would have ordered us to heal them if we went through the enemy line.

"Dear Hannelore, please go first. I am told to heal everyone."

When I took my escort knight up into the air, I took my hand out the window and said, "Strait, Corben!," he inverted, chanting, and hoisted the staff of Fruitrène. If you want to heal the knights of Aerenfest and Dunkelferger together, they're going to have enough magic if you don't give them proper prayers.

"Lungshmer, the goddess of water, the goddess of healing of the family of Fruitraine."

Attacks have flown from the old Berkeshtock side to disturb healing, but the knights of Dunkelferger, who have come to support the front line, are preventing it. The escort knights are putting up their shields. I prayed slightly quicker.

"Hear my prayers, give me the power of holiness, give me the power of healing those who guard Aerenfest, give me the protection of my soul by throwing holy inquiries, the ripples of the supreme."

The green light overflows and pours out of the wand's demonic stone. Apparently there were many injuries. A joyous voice was raised by the Knights of Geebe. I feel morale has increased, and I find it helpful at all, and I howl out of my body's power.

"Dear Rosemaine, leave it to the knight later"

I nodded cocklessly at Leonore's words. Once healed, my role is over. If I don't take healing pills and restore my magic, I'll be in trouble when I get some instructions from Ferdinand. Heading to the rear where Hannelore is, and descending on the spot, I took a pill in the mounted beast where only magic would recover.

"Is it because the knights of old Berkeshtock ride the horseman? I don't have a silver costume together, nor do I have a silver weapon. It's a battle between the ordinary Jürgenschmitt knights I'm used to seeing. Dunkelferger can't beat that easily."

Hannelore laughed at Nicole and said so. Two knights come close to putting together Aerenfest cloaks where they think they're reliable. Matthias is on a skinny cat-shaped horseman like a leopard with feathers, and Laurenz is on a bigger, tiger-like horseman, though in the same shape.

"Matthias, Laurenz. I'm glad you're okay."

"Dear Rosemaine,"

When all the escort knights were able to rendezvous, I stroked my breasts down. Matthias and Laurenz were almost at the rear of the line when the central breakthrough, as Leonore expected.

"I thought I could send Ordnants to Glaozam to see where they were, but Ordnants didn't fly"

"... does that mean he's already dead?

I saw a number of Ordnants who did not fly in Arlensbach. I didn't fly to the deceased.

"... there is also the possibility that he died somewhere involved in an attack, but I do not think that anyone who breaks the trap set by Master Bonifatius would lose his life so easily. Whether or not you can take covert actions that will keep Ordnants from reaching..."

Leonore gives a harsh look as he looks out for the Gerlach summer hall on Raulenz with a rugged face.

"If you put together a silver costume that won't pass the magic, they won't get the Ordnants. The knight of Arlensbach was talking. It was here that you first found the silver cloth, wasn't it?

Though the knights of old Berkeshtock do not possess silver costumes or weapons, Graozam will naturally possess them. No wonder the Ordnants didn't arrive.

"... they must be abandoned pawns for the Georginese."

They are not given silver costumes or weapons that do not pass through magic, nor are important information shared. It would have made their lives easier if they had told them that they would get the foundation from the Temple, but they are not teaching them, they are letting them take the magic of the land with the Little Holy Grail and use it as their own hands and feet. If she were to colonize Aerenfest after she gained the foundation, I don't think she would mind being gone, although she would be able to solemnize the nobles of Aerenfest today and gain loyal subordination.

"Dear Rosemaine, the head of the Knights of Gerlach wants to thank you. Don't leave the horseman."

Angelica brought in one man who put together Aerenfest's cape. I saw my face because I was taking the helmet. The healing of Lungshmer must have healed the injury. Though the injury seems to be coming back, the blood trail remains here and there, with a bloodless earthy face.

He knelt a little distance from the Lesser Bus in a disorganized manner that seemed to me to have fluttered and collapsed.

"Thanks to the healing of Master Rosemaine, this one has become much more advantageous. I would also like to say a word of thanks during the recovery…"

"Be quiet and rest, for you do not have to come to thank me in such a condition that you cannot come before me"

Lungshmer's healing only blocks wounds or heals inflammation, and doesn't mean the blood flowing back. I'm sure he was fighting on the front line without mind the blood flowing to support the battle line.

"It's a little dirty, so I thought it would be rude to get too close to Master Rosemayne, and this is how we got our distance."

I've never heard of the courtesy of taking a distance because it's dirty, but the inability of the captain to move would be a stain or a weakness for the Knights. I have decided to accept his words.

"The rendezvous led to an increase in numbers at once, and then, because Master Rosemayne's healing allowed the injured to return to the front, he was able to avoid the worst situation he feared he would be deprived of his summer hall as it was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart"

Apparently, thanks to the knights of Dunkelferger supporting the front line, the Geebe Knights have been able to see those who can fall back and take medication to recover and return to the summer hall to pick up restorative medication.

"I couldn't believe it when I had the Ordnants telling me to endure a lot as Dunkelferger's mixed army reinforcements were on their way from Aub around noon today. The magic equipment I was preparing was running out, and there were so many enemies coming over the Knights. To fight it, we had to leave Geebe in the hall, and all the Knights had to go outside."

I don't know if they're really coming. They were in total force while waiting for reinforcements. Reinforcements come to the enemy and increase their numbers before they can see their own reinforcements. When I felt hopeless, Ferdinand, Brother Eckhardt, and Heishitze's attack joined me as I made my way away from my enemies, he says. There was indescribable relief in that face.

"Excuse me while I talk to you, Captain"

The knight who was about to enter the summer hall rushes back. The captain stood up to me wishing to leave, and turned his gaze to the knight.

"What's wrong with you?

"You can't enter the hall."

"What?"

The moment I saw the summer hall as the pointed voice of the Knights Commander sounded and looked back at Ba, Hum and something flew away from the hall.

"Huh?"

Instead of people throwing something, they fly from the hall to the front line of the battlefield, a little distance away, at a speed that is like using something like a stone thrower. The sound of Hyun burst three times, with a time difference, as it made a sound with bread.

"What!?

White powdery objects flowed in the wind, and those near them were suddenly invisible. He who disappears, he who falls from the horseman, he who suddenly slows down his movements, he varies. My escort knights, who were in the rear and at a distance, seemed to have little influence, but where they were hit directly, they looked terrible. There seemed to be more victims in the knights of old Berkestok than in Dunkelferger.

"Vashen!"

While I didn't understand what had happened, a large amount of water had fallen in the vicinity. I will also be caught and washed with every Lesser Bus.

"The poison washed away. Drink Yurevé immediately!

Ferdinand's anger echoed. I knew immediately what poison it was with the instruction that I could drink Jurevé. It must be the poison Ferdinand received between Arlensbach's supplies.

... How could such a thing come from Geebe's Hall?

I looked back at the hall. Raise your gaze to the basement, ground floor, and second floor. There was a shadow on the balcony upstairs in the hall that never made people feel signs before.

"You're not weakening your effectiveness, but you did less damage than you expected. Again, outside, the powder diffuses and the effect diminishes..."

My spine popped when I heard an emotionless voice, as if I were experimenting. I know this voice. It is the voice of the man of the former murderer, whom I am to immerse in Yurevé.

"Not Geebe! Who!?

The captain jumps on the horseman with his weapon in his hand and runs up. As soon as the bread and noise appeared, the captain and the horseman disappeared neglectfully. One demonic stone falls near me staring up. My escort knights raised their bitter voices, instantly Vashen, and began to take their medication.

"Not Geebe? A fool. I dyed the magic equipment that is the foundation of this hall, and now I'm Geebe Gerlach."

Only my left hand looked like a gothic silhouette with armor small hands on it. Bassari and cloak flick. I saw silver on the back of the stained Aerenfest color.

"Graozam......"

Kneel before my horseman after Matthias, who was drinking Jurevé, made a low, roaring voice.

"When Geebe raises the museum's defense capabilities to the highest level, only the Lords clan, who Geebe has granted permission to, the blood clan, and the superior administrator, will be allowed in. If the knight can no longer get in, he must have changed his defense feature settings. Let me go, that son."

"Matthias, wait. That's..."

"It has to be me."

Matthias turns his blue eyes from me to the hall. After crossing his arms in front of his chest, he stood up and ran out.
