Ascendance of a Bookworm

Visit to Entovickern and Eglantine

There are seven demonic stones floating in the precious colour of the Great God between the foundations surrounded by white walls without windows. Each precious demonic stone emitted light and began to zero like a powder of sparkling light. Signalling the arrival of Ferdinand's magic at the foundation, which began to flow between the supplies, I draw to hand a leather bag packed with gold powder.

"Well, shall we begin?"

This time Entovickern, as was discussed the other day, is to renew the castle and the aristocratic district, and then a part of the lower town with the temple and the civilians.

Despite having to pack up and carry them out, the nobles were in big trouble, apparently, as only five days of respite had been granted by Entovickern. Although my room is fine because I still don't have much luggage, she was very busy packing around the office.

Decorations and furniture are carried out from where they are not often used, and carpets and tapestries are stripped. They didn't seem to be in the habit of using carpet in the summer here on the land, "if you think it's a slightly quicker mock-up..." the sidekicks said.

Since I would wander around and get in the way of a massive cleanup, I had been ordered to review by Ferdinand so that Entovickern could do without any problems, practiced to be touched by demon stones with his repaired face, and practiced dealing with fesh peels for adults to suit his grown body. I think it's terrible that you didn't take the time to read.

But when I complained to Ferdinand, I was quietly doing something other than reading because before I brought the book into the newly built library after Entovickern, I taught the civil servants the Rosemaine Decimal Classification and told them I wouldn't mind setting up the library based on my preferences and thoughts. I was always thinking about what to do with the library, so Rosina pissed me off that I wasn't into fesh peel practice, but I had no choice.

... the building itself is modeled after the British Museum Browsing Room, right? Ugh, uh-huh.

The new library to be built on the castle grounds is a huge circular library, designed in 1852 by Antonio Panizzi and based on the British Museum Browsing Room, which was completed in 1857. Actually, there's also my room in the library. When I retire from Aub, I will live in a library like Solange. I'm so excited about old age.

Apparently, the laboratory connected in the crossing is designed to Ferdinand's liking, but I don't know more about it. Looks like Ferdinand was discussing it with the civilians, so I guess I made it my choice. All I do is keep the blueprints.

I made sure the blueprints were within reach and stuck one hand in the leather bag and grabbed the gold powder. If you stretch your arms straight over the foundation and open your hands, the gold powder will zero in on the salad. I held a stamp in my other hand as I watched how it went. It changes the Starp with a "stillo" and first draws the symbol of the Supreme God in the air.

"I am the one who created and paid the world, prayed and thanked the gods, and wished for change in the created world."

The gold powder in my hand floats on its own, gathering at the tip of Stilo's pen, colouring the magic formations I draw in gold. The light-bearing magic formation has grown in complexity as my hand moves, and it's getting bigger and bigger. The turning magic formation is completed on top of the foundation and gleams.

"The power to absorb everything, in the name of my darkness god Sic Zantrahat"

As I wave down the stamp, the magic formation slowly descends towards the foundation. The magic team touched the foundation. The foundation glows. I grabbed the blueprint.

"In the name of Fairspready, my goddess of light, the power to create anew"

The blueprints flew towards the magic formation so that if I opened my hand it would be stirred by the rust and the wind, burning gold in its center.

"Dedicated to you is the shard of life, prayer and gratitude, and the blessing of a great couple, and a new place to rest in this land."

So that the magic formations may not be lacking, so that they may not disappear, I will pour out my magic to inherit and add gold powder. Until the magic formation glowed and disappeared completely, it was just Entovickern as Aub who poured magic.

At the end of Entovickern, there will be a visit and engagement ceremony for the new Zent. Books to be put into the library are piled up in the library, boxed, and put behind them, saying that they are now waiting for the moment to be arranged on the bookshelf by me as a delay. He said he had a new library because of it, but he was very busy preparing for Aub's job and engagement, which kept Eglantine from visiting.

... Oh, my library! Ha, good evening.

Ferdinand has decided most things for me, such as confirming the time schedule and deploying the knights when Eglantine arrives, but I must keep an eye on everything and keep track of the whole flow.

Since the Eglantines are coming through the border gates, pick them up at the border gates and transfer them to the castle. Then entertain Zent by having lunch with him and discuss the engagement relationship. Perform the House of Lords practical test of discarding medals of sinners captured in the center after the approval of the engagement has been completed. Ride the beast to the boundary gate while comparing the blueprints of the cities of Arlensbach and Alexandria to make sure the Lanzenave hall is completely crushed.

... You're pretty busy.

"We know what you plan to do on your visit to Zent, but have you decided on a costume for Lady Rosemaine's engagement? Do you have any luggage or anything you need to contact Aerenfest and have it sent to you?

When Leonore asked me, I turned my gaze to the leatherettes. I don't have time for a new costume by the wedding, so I'll have to use my handheld costume.

"I think the costume I wore in my discussions with the royalty, Aerenfest dyed cloth layered with Aerensbach cloth, most deserving, but what do the Lieselators think?

"I think Lord Rosemayne's heart is well expressed wishing to link Aerenfest to Alexandria. Besides, this costume is made in consideration of meeting with the royal family, so it won't be out of place if you put it together at the engagement ceremony"

"Right. The fabric is also made of the highest quality objects, as well as a range of hair decorations. So if you're going to decide, you have to tell Justkus about your costume and match it with Ferdinand's costume."

That's what Greater says as if she's hacked, and she leaves the room.

... even at the engagement ceremony in that costume.

Unlike when discussing with royalty, I am so happy to put together a costume made of hair decorations made by Touri for me and cloths given to Ferdinand with cloths my mother dyed for me, it brings a natural smile to mind.

"I've decided to be engaged to Master Ferdinand, and Master Rosemayne seems happy and above all"

To Clarissa's words, I say, "Uh, a little different," and I whisper. Not if I say that here.

"May I refrain from holding Master Rosemaine's demon stone at the engagement ceremony with a leaselator?

As he nodded at Clarissa's inquiry and asked Lieselator to escort him, Lauderich came into conversation with "Um, Master Rosemaine".

"Looks like the demon stone is ready, but have you decided on the words of the proposal to be stated at the engagement ceremony? Ferdinand tells me to check in advance…"

Apparently, Lauderich, who is a writer, was ordered to add. I took my gaze off from the side servants who were talking about the hair and ornaments of the day, and saw Lauderich.

"The trouble is, we haven't actually decided yet. Welcome Master Ferdinand as my son-in-law, so will you propose from me? Isn't the language of a proposal from a woman not too precedent? Whether to refer to the Queen's words in history or extract words like that from the Bible and Aerenfest love stories...... I'm very worried. Either way, you have to do some reading to make up your mind."

... because the words proposed at the engagement ceremony are also important to the Territory. Hey, hey, hey!

I'm in trouble, and I can't stop my mouth from loosening while I pose. As I held my fist in my heart, Lauderich smiled "Don't worry".

"I have been ordered by Master Ferdinand to hear from Master Rosemayne the general direction of what words of connotation I propose to marry, and to extract me from the Bible and so forth. Mr. Rosemayne's plans are blocked, so he can't take time to read them."

...... Humph! Master Ferdinand!

He had been hit in the first place. Too much repentance. I glanced over at the wooden plaques that were piled up one after the other, with no reading time.

On the day Eglantine arrived, me and Ferdinand were waiting at the border gate with their respective escort knights. The border gates glow, and the proximity of Zent on the horseback jumps one after the other from the door of the gatepost. Ultimately Anastasius and Eglantine came out and Eglantine put up a gluthris height to close the border gate once.

When the new Zent descends on the roof of the border gate where we are, Eglantine and everyone but me kneel together. I also tried to kneel, but Eglantine lifted her hand gently and stopped.

"The threads of Drefangua, goddess of time, have exchanged, and this is how you have been able to see, Master Rosemaine"

"I am truly sorry for your hard work during your busy time before the Lords' Conference, Master Eglantine"

Eglantine's face had changed slightly. The soothing smile seemed not to make much difference, but the fluffy princessy atmosphere disappeared.

... It must be really hard for the atmosphere to change so much in a short time.

"Zent Eglantine, today's appointment is just as I've already told you. Let's take the transfer to the castle."

Thoughts were interrupted by Ferdinand's voice. I touch the transference that I have kept copping on the roof of the boundary gate. He asked the central knights, who voiced surprise at the rise of the magic formation, to ascend to the transfer formation and move to the castle.

Finish lunch with lots of Alexandria-like fish and enter Aub's office.

Scope-designated anti-bugging magic equipment. Only Eglantine, Anastasius, Ferdinand and my four are within range.

"It was a great meal. I've had a few Earlensbach meals, but I'm surprised they taste a lot different."

"It's bad for the Arlensbach people, but if the spices are too strong, I can't eat them. I'm looking for new flavors by adding a little spice to how Aerenfest cooks."

Not only Eglantine, but Anastasius seemed satisfied, and the atmosphere is calm. A little touched that you thought it was that good, he stares at Eglantine by saying, "Eglantine's appetite has been dropping for the past few days, but today the food seems to have gone on".

... As always, you've only seen Master Eglantine.

I can see Anastasius worrying about the unusual Eglantine, although some of it is a little scary.

"It's going to be tough for Zent."

"... yeah. I saw a lot in a short period of time of things I never saw before, things I've done without seeing. I realized I had a lot to apologize to Ferdinand and Rosemayne."

My chest hurts at the words of Eglantine, who smiles furiously. The feeling that I don't think I can change the past even if I'm apologized for now, and the desire to trust me again, came to mind at the same time. Ferdinand smiles nicely as he sees through my heart like that.

"It is impossible to change the past even to the Supreme God, but isn't it possible to change the future for the better with the protection of the gods? To do so, please sign this document for approval."

Show clear sincerity because apologies don't change the past, and Ferdinand asks for approval of the engagement and accompaniment to the Lords' Conference, saying something that means Yakuza.

Eglantine, who was looking through the documents offered by Ferdinand, tilted Coteri and his neck with her hands on her cheeks.

"Master Rosemayne's engagement with Mr. Ferdinand is by royal decree, so you do not need my approval unless you abolish it..."

"That's the paperwork that proves it's a royal fate. I would like your approval to facilitate the change-over of Zent and the dissemination of information to the nobles of other territories."

Eglantine gives Ferdinand a look he hasn't convinced yet, while signing the paperwork in Stilo.

"I don't mind enough to sign the paperwork. But I thought today's invitation would be a consultation to speed up the ritual of star knot..."

"Yes!?

I opened my eyes, not knowing what Eglantine had suddenly mentioned.

"We speeded up the arrival of winter to extinguish the power of the gods who dwelt in Lord Rosemaine, so aren't we talking about wanting to speed up the ritual of star knots?

...... ghhh! I knew it was misunderstood!

"It's not winter! No, Master Eglantine!

"Rosemaine, calm down."

"I'm not comfortable with this kind of misunderstanding. Because, no..."

Isn't it too embarrassing to think that you want to speed up the ritual of star knot, besides being completely misunderstood? Even if they tell me to calm down, how can I calm down? I don't know what to do at times like this.

"Dear Eglantine, I am not speeding up the arrival of winter. I used several different medications to dye rosemaine. As you know, it doesn't stain as quickly as it does in winter."

"That was an amazingly short time indeed."

... Hey, stop it! We're going to talk about winter, really stop!

I didn't seem to be the only one holding my head. Stop Eglantine the way Anastasius panicked.

"If it was a misunderstanding, the ritual of star knot would be fine after Rosemaine's adulthood. I'm done with this story. I don't want to talk about dyeing fast or anything more!

"Right," smiles Eglantine, stopped by her husband.

"You two seem to accept an engagement by royal decree, but that's not all the royal decree given to you by Lady Traokvar, is it? What are you going to do about Master Retizia?

It was another royal fate to become an educator in Retizia, to raise her to the next Aub and make her the next Aub Ahrensbach.

"We don't need Alexandria to take over Arlensbach's customs, so we intend to treat Retizia as a Lordship candidate even after Rosemayne takes office in Aub. And I'm going to give the next Aub the education he deserves as an educator in Retizia, as King Fate says, and I don't think it's okay to adopt him after the Star Knot ritual."

I will need a back shield to live as a nobleman. Ferdinand seems to think that if Retizia fulfills her duties as a Lordship Candidate, she will adopt, and if she has the strength she deserves for the next Aub, she doesn't mind staying on the heir.

"However, the order to let Retizia be Aub Arlensbach is not executable on my own because Arlensbach disappears"

Ferdinand laughs nicely, staring at Eglantine, saying that at least in the royal life he received, there was nothing to make Retizia the next Aub Alexandria.

I thought it was a makeover laugh when throwing a round of trouble, so I decided to keep an eye on what was going to happen. Ferdinand should have less trouble.

"Do you name Lady Traokvar's new territory Aalensbach to aub Retizia after her marriage to Lady Hildebrandt, or do you create and give her a territory named Aalensbach after the adulthood of Retizia to allow Lady Hildebrandt to enter her son-in-law... There are several ways to carry out your royal life."

All Ferdinand has said is that this is a burden on the royalty. Anastasius turned a little nasty.

"Ferdinand, the method of abolishing it as an impracticable royal life is missing"

Ferdinand, poisoned, smiles poisonously, staring at Anastasius and Eglantine.

"Abolishing it as an impossible royal life is easy, but abolishing cheap royal lives will also lead to future royal lives losing weight. The royal family, including Lady Traokvar, must bear the weight of the royal life they have laid down."

... It wasn't a makeover laugh when throwing a round of trouble. It was a smile when I retaliated, this.

I turn away from the two blues. The royal family did a lot against Ferdinand, so I don't think anything in particular about getting paid a little bit. I want you to carry out your royal life thinking you deserve it unless it is to the detriment of Retizia.

"Speaking of which, have you finished your investigation of the sinners?

"Yep... As Aerenfest and Master Ferdinand explained, it seems that the troke was spreading. It was difficult for a lot of people to explore their memories and not understand what was at the heart of it, but it ended all the way through."

It seemed hard to read the memories of the Arlensbach nobles, starting with Dietrinde. Dietrinde, who was going to be the next Zent, made a fuss that he was "disrespectful," and when he heard that Eglantine had gotten the Gluthris Height, he said, "I can't believe you stole my stuff!" He was outraged. Memory readers seemed mentally terrible and difficult.

"This is the magic of the Arlensbach aristocrats who have finished their investigation. Dear Rosemaine, please destroy their medals. After the destruction of the medal, we will hand it over to each territory as a magician."

Anastasius put out a piece of paper with his name on it in the words of Eglantine. The names of the criminals who completed the investigation are lined up.

"It is no different from the practical skills of the House of Lords. Take it easy."

"... you can't take it easy to destroy medals."

I put out a stamp as I stared at the box of medals that Ferdinand had prepared. Wait for those other than yourself to get out of the scope of the anti-bugging magic equipment, and hold down a ton of paper that Anastasius left behind.

"Aosvar"

The name on the paper glows and one medal after another flies out of the box. With it in my hand, I closed my tight eyes once and exhaled slowly.

"Gluthris Height"

Copy the magic formation by putting out the book of Mestionora and the magic formation will be completed soon. Eglantine, who is made to combine examiners across the range of anti-bugging magic equipment, was looking at this one.

Eglantine, who has become a Zent, looks directly at what he doesn't want to see and is responsible for Zent. There is no way that I, who have become Aub, can escape the punishment of sinners.

"O God of darkness, who art high above the pavilion, make the world, Father of all things, and in the name of my God of darkness, Sic Zantraht, break the statutes of the goddess of light, and punish them."

Throw the medals one after the other into the magic formation where the black claws began to appear. The medal stuck perfectly on the black magic formation and started to burn.

"Close the stairs that lead you to the height where you sit."

Confirming that the discarding of the medal is over, "the practical skill is a pass," Eglantine declared. Anastasius said, "Are you insane, such as making this an exam?" I was looking at Ferdinand, "but that's what I want you to say long ago.

"This is the blueprint for the city. Discover the new city of Alexandria as we drive you to the border gates"

Ferdinand takes out the blueprints of Arlensbach and Alexandria's aristocratic neighborhoods and begins to explain to Eglantine and Anastasius where the Lanzenave hall is and how it has changed. They must make sure that the Lanzenave hall is completely gone and that there is nowhere to connect with the outhouse.

I rode into the beast and ran over the new city. It can be seen at a glance that the place where the Lanzenave Hall was located is part of the aristocratic district. I am also beginning my life in a newly built castle, and this is the first time I have seen the city of Alexandria from above, which ended Entovickern. Explore the aristocratic neighborhood around the castle, libraries and laboratories, and the surrounding area where the temples and the central facilities of the civilians gather, and head to the border gate.

"You really finished Entovickern in this short time. It would have been difficult, albeit partial."

Once down to the boundary gate, Anastasius, who looked around the city, made a voice that impressed him. Eglantine said, "You know very well how good Master Rosemaine is, don't you?," he smiles and nods.

"Master Ferdinand, who made all the adjustments, not me, is excellent. I just did what I was told."

"Oh. So Master Ferdinand designed the library city where the library is centered?

"That's right. It is always Ferdinand who makes my wishes a viable form."

Master Ferdinand will be amazing, and when I stretch my chest, Eglantine looks up at Ferdinand and laughs couscous. Ferdinand looked disgusted, but I don't mind.

"You two would like to visit Alexandria again."

"By then, Entovickern may be over where the civilians spend their time, and the temple classes may have begun. The payment system may make the library overflowing with books, and not just Ferdinand-like laboratories connected to the library, but also specialized laboratories for demon trees, demon fish, and warcraft."

I did Entovickern in a hurry to crush Lanzenave's hall and fix the aristocratic city damaged by the brawl, but there's still so much I want to do.

"None of this is a dream story. It's all going to run. Right, Master Ferdinand?

"... sooner or later, we're talking about"

Anastasius slapped Eglantine on the shoulder with an indescribable look on Ferdinand's reply.

"Let's go, Eglantine. I don't want to stay too long."

"Oh, aren't you smiling"

That being said, Eglantine puts out a gluthris height to open the border gates.

"... then, Dear Rosemaine. You are looking forward to the guidance of Drefangua, goddess of time."
