Ascension of the last Celestial

Hey Readers!

It’s me again, the unreliable author of this wonderful novel!

With this, the first volume of Ascension of the Last Celestial has ended, and I wanted to use this extra Chapter to share my thoughts and for you to hopefully share yours too.

First off, I want to address the inconsistencies with the uploads. I know it’s been a bit scuffed lately, first I take a long break, then I say there will be daily updates, and then there weren’t.

It’s just that life can be a bit weird sometimes and I had a lot of stress at my work. I don’t want to make false promises again, so this is the realistic upload schedule:

I can probably upload every day of the week except Tuesdays. They are just especially stressful for me, and I most likely can’t write on those days. So if there is nothing big happening in my life, you will get Chapters 6 days a week. But if you want to know if there will be a Chapter on a specific day, maybe consider joining the Discord, the link is in the synopsis.

Other than that, I also want to talk about Seraphine. Maybe you remember a few Chapters ago that I wanted to change her design, and the one I am thinking of right now is: black hair and golden eyes. If you like that design or want a different one, please tell me! This will be the last chance, as she will appear again soon and by then the design will be final.

Also, I did a little bit of secret retconning and made Valerian 16 instead of 15, maybe you noticed, maybe you didn’t. The reason is just that it felt a bit weird that all of that happened when he was still 15, and while 16 isn’t much older, it feels more appropriate. So from now on, Valerian, Arthur, and Seraphine are all 16 years old, not 15.

But that should be all, I guess...

It has been a really fun ride up until now, and I hope we can grow this community and that you enjoy the story.

The second volume will start tomorrow, so there won’t be a break in between.
