Ashes and Kingdoms

Summer Fantasy

"Uh-huh! Water, water!!

"Stay! My eyes!

A twin rises from the sea in a noisy scream, running over a bucket placed on a rock. It's a strange story to scream, water, in front of the sea plains, but of course what they're looking for is true water.

Battle ahead and wash your face with bucket of water, finally quiet in a comfortable way. Nellis looked frightened as she watched the noise as it turned to burn.

"If it's that hard, why don't you at least look up and swim without forcing yourself?

"No, I'll show you everything mastered!

"I live in Nanais, but I can't be dealt with by a girl who's diving into the sea!!

Nellis raised her eyebrows, whether it was Ewares or Eugenis who made the fist grip.

"Even if you could just see me in my underwear, you were making a fuss. Can you show off your swim in front of the new girl?

"If you were a master swimmer, you wouldn't be ashamed. I guess."

One crack tells me I'm not sure, and I come by the fire. One of the others got it.

"First, your normal daughter would look away if a man dressed like this."

"Sorry about that. I've lived in the wild with you, and it's wrong of me to ask for discretion. Well, if you were as beautiful as the Emperor, you wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen, but there's no reason why you should shy away from your usual face now."

Hmm, and Nellis snorted and let the contents of the pan on fire go into the bowl. The utensils are just potato qualitative soup, but slightly thickened and slightly sweet.

Summer, though, makes my body cold when I'm immersed in the ocean for a long time. The twins appreciated the soup and rinsed happily.

Then they all looked offshore. One wooden barrel, puffy swinging between the waves.

"Finn guy, you can dive a lot."

At the same time one of them snapped, Zabba, the rumored hitter surfaced. Shake your head gently and put the shellfish you had in your hand in a barrel with a gotten tonne. I noticed the three people on the beach and raised my hand a bit, diving into the sea again and I couldn't see.

"Besides, acquiring shellfish means you're opening your eyes in the ocean. I can't believe it, because it's Dragon Hou after all?

"That's not true."

Nellis swept away unexpectedly. The Winnean-bred twins never even tried to get into the ocean when they were in Comrith. Now I'm finally ready and working hard to get to see swimming in the ocean, but there are many funny mistakes from growing up in Nanais.

"Are you both meditating on your eyes in the ocean? Then you don't see anything."

"No, I open my thin eyes sometimes. But it hurts..."

"I don't know what to do if I get used to it. Well, when you open your eyes with your face out of the ocean, it hurts."

"Yeah, is that true?

"Because it's true. Otherwise, you can't eat abalone or anything. Sea food isn't all you can take with nets and fishing poles, is it?

"I know that, but"

Talking about that, Finn came back sometime. Unlike the twins who keep splashing, it's a smooth swim. Going up from the sea with a bucket, he didn't look particularly rushed, but went as far as the true water and washed his face.

"I'm tired. I made potato juice."

Finn thanked and received Nellis as he offered him a new bowl. When he lowers his back to a nearby rock, as usual, a fluttering Lena appears beside him. Look at that, Nellis, it's a little snotty.

"Oh, well. Your brother doesn't need potato juice because he has Lena."

"Is that what you're telling me not to eat?

Nellis laughed because Finn made a genuinely bewildered voice.

"I'm not. Fine, I made it, so eat it."

With your forgiveness, Finn mouths as if relieved. In Nanais homes, it was a summer routine to have this soup ready for families diving into the sea. It's the same in the orphanage, and when the kids get to the ocean, the staff always prepare a large pot.

"I knew I had to have this."

"Right," Nellis agreed with Finn, who seemed to crush him with nostalgia.

It was then that Nellis shifted her gaze to Lena, who was stuck to Finn and looked at the potatoes intrigued, and her eyes fluttered.

"Speaking of which, Can you swim a Lena?

"Huh?"

Everyone looks surprised at the abrupt topic. Nellis, somewhat reluctantly, repeated the question.

"Because, you see, I've never seen Lena in a river or the ocean. It's Lady Deia's dragon, and I thought maybe I couldn't dive into the water."

"I can't..."

Lena answered with a slightly troubled look, tilting her little neck.

"I don't think the ocean needs to work a little hard. It's Audia-like territory. But unlike flames and winds, my nature is light, so shallow and just a little water would be fine. I just don't want to dive even though I don't have to."

"It's not incompatible with the water itself."

Convinced that fins are enough. Nellis nodded, too, yeah, then casually said.

"Oh well. Well, you can't swim in the ocean, but you can take a bath."

…………

A strange silence descends on the ground.

Finn had an imagination and saw Lena with an indescribable look. Lena notices it touches Finn's consciousness strangely and blushes slightly as soon as possible. Finn tried to apologize in a hurry, but sooner, the twins shouted out loud and tall.

"Mr. Phineas, yah-yah-yah. What are you thinking?"

"No, I'm about your age. Ooh."

I use a disgusting voice color, make a big fuss and chuckle. Finn pounded for a moment like the two shakers, then became bright red, guessing what they had made fun of him.

"No!! What are you guys thinking!!

Finn yelled, but the twins just get funny.

"I can't say I'm ashamed of that."

"Hey."

Continue to be slight and vocal. It seems that Nellis is already white-eyed at his brother while twisting away to a position where he can't help himself.

As Finn roared, Lena opened her mouth shyly on the side.

"You know, Finn, 'cause it's not gonna be that way"

"Huh?"

"Because it's okay. We are created with God's help, from corner to corner? So diving in the water won't do that."

"Ah... well. Sorry, think weird."

Finn apologizes for looking bad. Lena smiled bitterly and shook her head.

To the way they look, the twins stop tearing up, too, and face to face with what they're talking about. Finn sighed small and explained to him, "Oh man.

"If a fluffy dog or cat gets wet a lot in the rain, you see... it would be miserable, wouldn't it? Yeah, I imagined that."

"- Oh!"

I see, and the twins hit their hands, and then laughed more and more. Lena is again dishonourably imagined, pointing the protest at Finn. Sorry, and Finn apologized again, and stroked Lena's head to comfort her.

Lena sneers at him as if to stand still until the twins stop laughing. Finn tried to touch her heart and convey her care immediately, but at the same time he touched it, realizing that the other person was not otherwise hurt. Thank you. You seem distracted by something else.

Well, shortly after Finn was surprised, Lena's hand suddenly touched her flank.

"Huh!?

It's something that I didn't feel comfortable with, and Finn puts herself in a limp. Lena grabbed her hand in a hurry.

"I'm sorry. Could it still hurt?

That's what I asked, because it was the old scars that I touched. Finn quickly shook his head and deceived.

"No, I'm just surprised. I hurt this place over ten years ago."

"Really? So, this too?

Lena leans her neck really tight and now touches the white marks left on her knees. Finn grinned bitterly, placing the bowl of soup in the safe zone, then tracing his memory by pointing to each and every visible scar.

"Sometimes I don't remember when I got there, but I think it's all childhood injuries. I used to, because I used to run around there in the Iso and fall. I remember this clearly, ten... when I was two years old, I caught shellfish and cut it off. You couldn't stop the blood, and you got scared of boulders."

There were two other memorable scars. Lena was listening seriously to the explanation, but when she finished the conversation, she smiled blindly, matching her fingertips properly with something that convinced her.

"Humans know all sorts of things when they see their bodies. I'm so glad I found out so much about Finn."

…………

Again, the unspoken air falls silent. Of course I guess Lena has no other intention or inclusiveness, I know that. I can tell.

Finn says vaguely in difficulty in replying and, to deceive, reaches out to take the bowl. So I felt a haphazard sign and looked back, and quickly flew off the spot.

One hair at a time, the twins finned and jumped without any foretaste, grabbing the sky and raising their voice of regret.

"Shit, dude."

"But next time, we won't let them get away with it."

The two of us throw up a playful dialogue and stand tall. Finn leans back and peeks at the opportunity to escape into the sea.

Finn kicked the puff of sand and ran out, while the twins roared and attacked.

"Don't spare me, Phineas!

"It's for your precious Lena, take it all off!

"Why does that happen!!!

Bye. Three guys running around the beach screaming. Nellis shook her head in awe and stirred the pan.

The time Lena makes a problem statement, she sees Finn escaping properly. Eventually, when the Dragon Marquis, who shook off the chase, fled into the sea, the twins softly called out at the waves, followed by an enduring battle setup. He began to build a base wall in the sand.

"For God's sake, I'm an idiot."

Nellis sighs, not asking me to go out with her. When I grabbed a barrel with shellfish and stood up, I paid the sand on my clothes and said:

"Lena, I'm gonna go home first and get rid of this, so pot and fire, can you do me a favor? Let it melt, and let it stir sometimes so it doesn't burn."

"Yes."

Lena replied honestly, sneering and stopping by the fire. To that innocent smile, Nellis smiled back in a soothing and uncomfortable mood.

"Really, Lena's a good day, isn't she?"

The sun just shines brightly at the sky's height. Warm, hot or dazzling, it's on the human's own. It's also making a foolish noise as if he was hit by a hot heat and his head screws flew......

Nellis laughed bitterly at Lena, who looked up at her with a strange face, just, nothing.
