Ashes and Kingdoms

Chapter IV (2)

By the time the sun was inclined and dusk obscured my borders, Tito and Valt had also returned to the village. It is the triumph of strangling the captured bandits with the villagers who went to support them.

"Master Dragon Hou!

Tito, who finds Finn, comes running with a wave of excitement. The boy, who had hit and changed and looked alive, bowed his head in momentum as he came to the front of Finn.

"I'm sorry for everything! Listen to me while I wait...... oh no, shake my hand!

He puts his hands out to leave the momentum to me as I say it with his eyes shining. Finn grabbed one hand slightly cursory and glanced at Valt, who had come later.

"How did you blow me in?"

"I just let you hear what's going on, okay?

Valt grips his ears, blows his fingertips fluffy before clapping his shoulders.

"How unaccommodating, stubborn, persistent, boring, and helpless fool our Lord Tenryu is..."

"Um, hey!

Block Valt's dialogue, Tito interrupts. Leaving aside the momentum created in him, he continued, waving his hands wide apart.

"Really, I don't know anything about it. What Dragon Marquis has done with who he is, where he is now, and what legions of people are doing in the east. I think I was probably talking about my mother or something, but I didn't listen to it properly... so, yet, I thought about being tired or bored by myself, and I realized I couldn't do that!

Though there is no cohesion in words, enthusiasm is well conveyed. Finn's eyes are soothing and Valt's bitter smile is twisted but warm. To the look on their faces, Tito blushed his hands and made them look lovely.

"About the field, it's definitely tough... but if you wanted to have fun, you had to figure out a way to make it easier for yourself. I need to know exactly what's going on and change it from me before I can say it's boring. Amazing things like Dragon Marquis, though, can't come out. Still, if you didn't give up and do anything from the start, it wouldn't have to be boring."

I wonder why you didn't notice, twinkling like a blindfold, clapping your neck. The shrunken head was shaken by Valt laughing and snoozing.

"If you've noticed, you've moved on. Even this one, a kid like a kid seems to make me say life is boring early, because it's a rounded adult's face. If even the boy is willing to do that, I'll help him."

"Then don't treat me like a kid."

Tito swells. And there, the kind of rage that I aimed at flew in.

"You fucking kid!! Which side did you come back from?!

Tito jumps up to too loud a voice, and Finn looks back surprised. Tito's father, with a bright red face, raised blood vessels in his temples and nearly let them loose like bears.

Tito inadvertently lags behind and hits the Valt. The shock restored his mind and barely regained his posture.

"Oh, it's not my fault! Listen to me..."

"Ugh!! You're a demon or something, don't blame one, you idiot!!

"Hey, what are you talking about!? For one thing, and for nothing, indeed I am."

"You annoyed the villagers so much, what's that smug side of it!!

Tito, who dares to try to fight back, is crushed by his father's thunder all the time. Finn already told me about the fact that he was taken over by the demon, but apparently when he was on the steps of welcoming his son, he couldn't contain his anger at what made him worry.

Now Tito just rebels too, Finn glanced at the arbitration gap, but it was faster for Tito to have eclampsia than that.

"Oh now, shut up. Okay, you should have come back for me!! I'm leaving, you're going home! As for the Dragon Marquis, I'll have him in the Legion!!

"Are you still going to bother other people on this, you fucking kid!! Come here, you idiot!

The father yelled back as well, stretching his arm as he flaunted Finn, grabbing and pulling his son's ear.

"Ouch, it hurts, it hurts!! Get off me, you fucking pussy!!

"Who the fuck is that, a kid like you can't be a soldier ten years early!! Sweet!!

"Get off me!! Damn, I don't like it, let go of me!!

Tito cried and resisted scatterly, but was no match for his father's arm strength. They are taken away forcefully as they are. Finn was distracted and dropped off his noisy father and son, but when he glanced at Valt, who looked slightly and equally distracted, he shook his head to do it all together.

"That's a tough one after that."

As Finn said, Valt nodded with a bitter smile as well.

"Oh, I guess. Well, I'll call the soldiers to handle the bandits anyway, so I'll tell the kid exactly what an army is like then. If you still go in, I'll give your father a mouthful. I want as many recruits as I want.... so why don't you leave it up to me, Dragon Marquis? Otherwise, that kid will run away from your father and take you or something."

Finn unwittingly swept at the words that came with him. Exactly, the sight comes to my attention.

"Thank you, let me sweeten your words. Commander Valt, I asked for the rest."

Finn saluted sarcastically, making sure the other person responded with an unpleasant face before looking up at the sky.

White wings spread, rising high in the sky, without needing to be aware of the words and convey them. When I noticed a bunch of little figures glancing at my neck and looking at this one, Finn and Lena swirled big once on the spot, then headed towards the sunset - to Nanice, winged.

"Ah, welcome home, brother!

Welcome home. No.

When I went down to the square early in the morning and into the city hall, Mac and Nellis were just in place. To the two of you smiling and turning around, Finn also smiles back.

Mac is now officially captain of the Tenryu Army Nanais unit, rather than the vague title of Deputy Secretary of Dragon Hou. I am learning daily about the operation and maintenance of troops from Commander-in-Chief Plast and officers of the regiment I have invited.

Nellis, his wife, is struggling to raise her children beside the priesthood, and still wears her youngest child with a strap on her back. A third person is due around summer and fall. Normally, even with the businessmanship of falling, Nellis is not at all comfortable. Apparently thanks to the patronage of Goddess Nena, since giving birth to her first child, she has lived well every day without sickness and tiredness.

I guess we're both coming out of the house this morning and Nellis is going to head to the temple after this.

"How was the east? It was later than planned, but any trouble?

"Did you have breakfast? I don't have any soup left, but bread would be at home. I wonder if there was only one egg."

The two of them throw their own concerns. Finn gave it a thought and then briefly reported.

"It wasn't a big deal, but Valt wasn't the only one who could deal with a demon being involved in a burglar. So, we've been working together to clean it up. I'll call Plast later for a more detailed report... but Nellis, too, will wait and listen with me if I don't need a rush. I'm gonna get something to eat for now."

With his verbal butt, Finn thanked Nellis with his eyes, lifting his hands gently before turning back on his heels.

Go out into the square and stretch out in the refreshing morning sun. While I was back from the east, I stopped all over to see if there were any signs of darkness, so I didn't end up sleeping all night, but I didn't feel too sleepy or tired. Not even hungry, of course.

These days, those trends are gradually becoming stronger. Still, Finn was trying to get as much sleep and food as he could because his family was worried. As long as I was doing that, I felt like I could be human, and in fact, thanks to Nellis telling me he was a bread or an egg, I get an appetite for forgetting.

"Should I buy some freshly made soup and go home?"

I look over to the square and look for the road, wondering which store is already open. Next to it, the flutter and light swirled, and Lena appeared as a girl.

"Can I stop by the bakery too and see if there's that cute one?

Her favorite with a groom and a delight is bread that is quite forceful but doesn't even look like a dragon shape. Of course I don't eat it, but when that bread, developed after a bad fight to make it a specialty, is lined up in the store, I'm never tired of watching it happily.

Finn laughed and admitted, then let's go that way first, and walked out. Lena also follows lightly with fluffy waves of gold and silver hair.

After a few steps, Lena gave a little thought and laughed, wrapping her hands around Finn's arms. I don't usually hold hands or put my arms together, so Finn looks slightly surprised, but I'll smile right away and empty my left arm for her. As soon as she did, Lena stuck with pleasure. That's all, even the unparalleled sense of happiness fills Finn's heart.

On the other hand, he felt a tingling pain in his chest.

This is how I bond with Heavenly Dragon, and I can live with neither the heat nor the cold, and I can continue to have hope for the future. But for many people, every day is a battle.

Farming fields in tunnels, sifting tools with the pain of saving money, sneaking goods from town to town - fighting the temptation to escape such a life and take them unilaterally for ease.

If you don't have the power to move to execution, you can give up. If you have someone to protect, you can stay on your feet. If you can find joy and pleasure every day, little by little, you don't need to take it away from others. If you can think of the next generation looking to a distant future, needless to say.

But there's evidence that there are many people who don't, and there's bandits.

(Don't forget)

Finn looks forward and exhorts himself.

Even if I can't remember that feeling anymore, I can't empathize with that pain.

As he used to be, men come and go constantly across the border between day and night. Whatever man may be, he is lost in his obscure moment of dusk, and anything that differs from the devil's can happen.

At that time, if you are fascinated by the demons, you will continue to confuse them forever in the same place as you did in those woods, and you will not be able to go anywhere.

With danger, people are alive.

(Don't forget)

Finn clenched his fist all the time, feeding his fingernails. Strong, deep, not to be extinguished by the light the dragon brings.

"Finn?"

Lena asks in a slightly anxious voice. Finn looked down into his golden eyes and smiled.

"- It's okay. Let's go."
