Assassin Crow Evolution

Chapter 135 - 100 gallons of pee

Looking in the mirror, for a crow, could either be horrifying, or enlightening. It depended on the crow.

Looking at a transparent, carbon-copy of one’s self? Well, that was different from looking in the mirror. There may not be a word for it.

At the very least, Jimmy was curious. The transparent version of himself didn’t manage to frustrate him.

Since he had meditated, he was calm, but only the divines knew how confused he was.

"Okay... now what?" He looked at the supposed phantom, or spirit. "Is this my soul, or some shit?"

The transparent crow continued to screech. It did not answer him, and so the confusion ensued. Its screech was mild pitched, befitting the altered caw of a crow. It even sounded like something he could produce himself.

"System?" He pleaded, with a whisper.

[You summoned a ’monk’ that mirrored your physique. It is now under your command.]

"So this is a summoning?" He asked.

[Yes, and no.]

[You summoned your own spiritual comprehension, in a screeching, transparent form. You haven’t summoned a spirit from either the Light, or the Dark side.]

[The monk is at your behest. You can give it a single command, and after that, it disappears.]

"Command it to do what?" He blurted, "I don’t think that I even need the fucker... you got me worked up again, I called myself a fucker."

The system did not answer, and in a way, Jimmy was glad that she didn’t. In terms of spirituality, he barely understood her simplified explanations, and he felt ashamed that he didn’t. His pocket of time, which were his first few weeks of life, where he could be openly oblivious, and not care about it, was over.

He didn’t have the privilege of blaming everything on his young age. He felt shame nowadays, especially when it revolved around his intelligence.

With that said, he liked to pretend that he understood the system.

Screee!

The transparent version of him kept screeching. It certainly didn’t act like a monk.

’Fucker doesn’t even have a robe,’ He thought, ’Monks are supposed to wear robes.’

The transparent crow started circling around Jimmy, running at top, dizzying speeds, as if a centipede had bitten its cloaca.

"What do you want now?" He shook his head.

This thing’s screech kept getting louder, and higher pitched. It went from being annoying, to unbearable.

Within a minute, Jimmy lost his cool, and shouted, "Piss off!"

It did piss off, so to speak.

A hundred gallons, or nearly four hundred liters of liquid, suddenly appeared.

It didn’t rain from the sky, and it didn’t erupt out of the ground like a geyser either. It just appeared.

For a moment, Jimmy didn’t even realize what was going on. He just picked up on a horrid stench, and then he noticed that his vision was blurry.

"Huh?" He grunted, and swallowed a mouthful of this liquid. "Piss?! Fuck!"

Every word he heaved was through a gurgle. He was suddenly drowning in piss, but thankfully, that didn’t last long.

The pee spread out across the flatlands, since there was no direct crater to hold its massive quantities.

The dirt below him began to drink the piss, slowly. The only thing left of it now, was the horrid stench, and the bumbling confusion that came along with it.

"Where’s that fucker!" He took a deep breath, "I’m gonna beat his ass!"

The transparent crow was gone. Relative to the system’s description, it completed the one task it was given, and this explained why it disappeared afterwards.

Jimmy realized that part of the puzzle as soon as he walked away from the pee, and had the chance to think without gagging every time he took a breath.

"So that spirit shit really is like magic?" He asked himself, "Like cliche magic, genie in a bottle kind of thing? The monk granted me a wish, and fucked off."

Jimmy knew that he wasn’t fully versed with this whole new branch of magic, but he was happy that he figured out another piece of the puzzle. He was as happy as a piss-stained crow could be.

To wash off the pee off of his feathers, he flew towards the lake nearby. The Lakelands had no shortage of clean water.

Jimmy walked by its outskirts, took a sip off of the lake, but then, he was immediately disgusted. Droplets of piss rained into the lake, contaminating his drinking water.

"Son of a bitch!" He exclaimed, "Why did he have to summon such stinky piss? God damn! Did he steal it from a giant with kidney stones, and a bladder infection? The piss is dirt brown!"

A violently cawing crow would not intimidate a lot of creatures, but he did scare the fish. He saw a large tail, perhaps six feet long, splashing against the surface of the water, tens of feet away.

He saw the tail clear as day. His eyes, as a crow, were already great, and the Enlightened Eyes skill helped him too.

When he cranked this skill up to the max, he could see below the surface of the water a little bit better. His view of the water wasn’t transparent, he couldn’t see everything, but he saw enough.

"That’s a big one... I guess I annoyed him more than I scared him?" He muttered, "It doesn’t look like a catfish. Why does it look like a shark?"

Although odd, that sighting wasn’t enough to intimidate him. He wasn’t willing to show fear towards a mere fish. For all he cared, it could be a whole dinosaur, but if it was in the water, he wouldn’t bat an eye.

"If I can see it coming, I can burn it." He said.

"Brrr... cold." He stepped into the lake, ankle-deep.

To wash off the piss without wasting too much time, he walked deeper towards the lake, but past the two-foot deep part, he discovered that he was in fact not buoyant, like a duck. He was a bird too, but apparently buoyancy didn’t work that way.

He was buoyant only for a few seconds, and as he took another step, his beak sunk under the water. The spot ahead that he had tried to step on, appeared to be several feet deep!

With all his might, and with great panic, he flapped his wings, and pushed himself backwards, towards more shallow waters.

It worked, but along the way, he got a couple of mouthfuls of that wretched piss that had left his feathers, and had then mixed with the lake water. He threw up as soon as he got to shallow waters.

For an omnivorous crow, he appeared to have a bit of a weak stomach.

Within the lake, he saw that big, shark-like fish rush towards him, and with everything that was going on right now, he could not even bring himself to care about this fish.

"Trying to eat me, eh?" He grunted. "Come, motherfucker."

Jimmy kept his legs loose. He wanted to blow this thing’s head clean off, to vent out some of his frustration.

He was ready, but, to his surprise, when the fish got within ten feet of him, Jimmy was then suddenly slapped by a wave!

It came out of nowhere, and it tossed him right out of the water!

"What the fuck?" He swiftly stood up.
