At the Northern Fort

The Spirit of Darkness No One Knows (2)

The white mist that was drifting gathers each and every grain into the shape of a person.

And just a couple of seconds later, Father stood there. Father has a bit of a vain eye.

"Father!"

I left my clown toy and ran over to my father.

"Milfilia......"

My father, who is always faceless, is also happy to see me again with a little bit of a raised corner of mouth.

"I missed you......"

When Father crouched on the spot, he lifted me up and hugged me hard.

Woodbaum says wonderfully.

"Haven't you seen him in a while?

"Yeah, Father's on a journey to retreat sweet strawberries."

And so my father seemed to finally realize the presence of Woodbaum and Kugarg. I'll start by staring at Woodbaum and saying.

"Wooden Spirit...... Again...... The Spirit of a tree, not my father, while I was gone... with Milfiria... together..."

"Yes, no, me, no..."

Woodbaum began to be frightened of his father.

Meanwhile, Father now sees Kugarg.

"And... children of the Spirit of Fire..."

Kugarg also shakes his shoulder in a vicious manner. Kugarg, the Spirit of Fire, looks a little bad on the father of the Spirit of Water.

"... I know you do. I remember... Milfiria and the friendly people... said... A child of the Spirit of Fire... always stuck to Milphilia..."

That's probably the story of when Woodbaum was staying in a northern fort for sanatorium. The knights were blowing into my father when he appeared in the pond of the north fort until he wanted to be near me.

"So the Kugarg one always sticks to your daughter when she comes to see you."

"You think it's too early for a mill to have a boyfriend."

"Please tell Kugarg everything from your father."

I thought you said something about that.

My father wasn't very interested in the other spirits, and he seems to remember Woodbaum and Kugarg very well, even though he forgot about Mr. Daffine, who should have seen him several times.

But Father doesn't seem to really hold the child back either.

"Of the children... forgive me..."

That's the last thing I added. Of the kids, they forgive me even if Kugarg sticks to me. But isn't that like saying I won't forgive you when you grow up?

Father.

I say after I lick my father's chin pero.

"I haven't been with Woodbalm forever. I just wanted to ask you something, and I just happened to be here. Father, did you look for strawberries every time?

I shook my tail, but my father says unfortunately.

"No...... I'm still on my way...... I gather more, sweet meat... May Milfiria... rejoice..."

And continue in a relaxed tone.

"It's just that it's time... to meet Milphilia... because the limits... seemed to come... Once we don't refill..."

That's what Father says and hugs me. I'm not sure what the limits are coming and replenishing, but I was hugged by a patter and a tail while I was hugging her.

Do you think Woodbaum will be killed if he interrupts this time, or he's killing his breath without being slight while standing? Kugarg isn't that nervous, but he just doesn't come and interrupt between me and Father.

Father is still going to... Pretty long.

Only the sound of my tail swinging echoes in the quiet woods.

Long. Long ginger.

And where Kgarg began to sleep on the spot, it seemed that Father had finally finished some refilling.

"... Oh, did you eat it?

I was asleep too, so I look up to my father with half my eyes.

"Oh...... Now again... for a while... I can work hard"

"Instead, you don't have to look for strawberries anymore."

"No... look..."

Father put me down gently on the ground and stood up.

"He wants a sweet meal... when Milfiria said... That face... very..."

Father cut words there. I tilt my neck and ask.

"Very, what?

"... it's hard to put it into words... but he really ate..."

I thought back to that time.

"I don't really want strawberries..."

What did I look like when I said that? I'm pretty sure I missed my last life because I was thinking of the sweet Japanese cuckoo.

Maybe he looked a little lonely to my father.

Thank you, Father.

"Thanking you is quick...... I collected a lot of wild rice noodles... but I don't know if it's the rice noodles Milphilia is looking for... We need to collect more... See you... See you..."

When Father laughs a little, he turns into fog to use mobility.

I wave my forefoot at my father, even though I miss being on the journey again.

"He hasn't come home yet!

That's how Woodbaum exhaled when his father disappeared completely.

"I was trying to find a new address near the Milphilia residence, but I knew I'd stop. I'm gonna be jealous of WarTrust."

Breaking up with Woodbaum, Kugarg and I went back to your lord's grandfather's mansion.

Looks like everyone was waiting for me in the reception room, including my mother and my Hilg dad. Besides, the captain who apparently was in Sharon's search was also returning to see if he had received a report that Sharon had been found.

Mother, sitting on the couch away from Hilgdad, looks at me and says:

"That was late, Milfilia. What are you talking about?"

"Otahi (Toy)!

I put the clown toy on the low table and reported the results to everyone. Mr. Daffine, Grandma Heidellin, Heililith and Woodbaum said no one knew anything about the Spirit of Darkness.

"Ah! I was going to give it to your father, but I forgot."

"There's no way the little guy I know knows knows, so good. If you've ever met him, forget him."

Well, yeah. I forgot about Mr. Daffine, too. You're my father.

Hearing the results from me, Mr Branch Leader says as troubled.

"But when no one knows the Spirit of Darkness, what shall we do with this fairy? I've been going around about Master Sharon for a long time, but is it harmless to leave it..."

The Black Dark Fairy is hard to tell where it is at first glance, but if you look closely it sticks to lurk in Sharon's shadow.

But Sharon didn't seem particularly reluctant to be stuck with a fairy.

"The fairies seem to miss me, and I don't feel bad."

Sharon has been refused an attempt to share cookies with the fairies. One of these days, they're going to be wearing ribbons, or they're going to let you participate in the deception.

The captain also puts his fat arms together and tells the chief of the branch.

"Assuming the dark spirits are also involved in recent strange cases, it may be difficult to solve them. I don't know what the hell it's all about, and I don't want you to tell me you're coming back safe. I want you to stop taking my kids, but will you listen to me if I tell you? I don't even know where he is in the first place. It's hard for us humans to find out where the Spirit is."

"The case is like riding up a reef."

His Royal Highness Ask groaned with a difficult face.
