At the Northern Fort

In the castle of Zeeland (2)

If you want kids, how come San Narcisse doesn't make them with other spirits?

When I tried to say the question, the door to the room was knocked.

"Spirit, are you still here? I have brought His Majesty the King."

If you noticed, all the sand on the hourglass had fallen downstairs and had already exceeded three minutes.

"Oh, there he is. Get in."

I beg your pardon.

When the woman of the servant who let her breath out opened the door, the king of Zeeland, who also let her breath out, came into the room.

The king of Zeeland is an all-back with dark hair and feels a little lonely around his forehead. I mean, well, I'm lightly bald.

I'm about sixty years old and my eyes are a little light-headed. She looks thin, but she weaves a luxurious fur cape even though it's summer, and she's as mundane as I am. Plus I wear a lot of ornaments, so it was flashy like sannarcissis.

But unlike Saint Narcisse, he's not aesthetically shaped, so he hasn't been able to dress in that flashy costume.

"Ha, ha... Oh, sorry to keep you waiting?

King Zeeland says with a sweat on his broad forehead.

And when you find me or Kugarg, you only breathe haha, and you make your voice play with joy.

"Oh my God! Besides the Spirit of Light, there are two more Spirits! The leopard and puppy are spirits, aren't they?

"Child fox"

"This guy is a child fox, not a puppy. And yes, spirits."

When I whispered and urged Saint Narcisse to correct me, Saint Narcisse corrected King Zeeland's mistake.

And King Zeeland continues as he approaches us.

"Really! Welcome to Zeeland. Let's get you both a room and a servant in this castle. Be sure to dwell here like the Spirit of Light. If more spirits live in our castle, the people will rejoice."

King Zeeland rubs his hands like a merchant even though he is king, he says, floating smiles and sales smiles.

Well, if the Spirit lives in his castle, it's a good thing as a king, isn't it? Just because there is a Spirit, he can intimidate enemies, both domestic and international, even if he is silent, and the people respect him because they think he is liked by the Spirit, and power increases.

But me and Kugarg aren't going to live here, of course.

Then the knight with the eye of the ship says to King Zeeland with me in his arms, courtesy of the knight.

"I'm sorry, but these two are going back to Alidra Country"

"Hmm? What are you doing?"

King Zeeland raises a single eyebrow. When the Shigeye Knight explains that he is the Knight of the Land of Alidra, King Zeeland wrinkles slightly between his eyebrows.

"Hun. The Knight of Alidra Country? That crest sure does. Then yes...... Those still young spirits... are the spirits of snow and flames"

When King Zeeland mentioned who we were, the Shigeye Knight just listened back.

"What makes you think that?

"I've known that Alidra has had snow and flaming spirits for a long time. And I also know that in the last few years we have had children for both of us. Just do a little research and you'll see. Information is important, isn't it?

King Zeeland laughed and said niggardly. Are you even sending spies to Alidra country if you do a little research?

In order not to be targeted in this way by those in power in other countries, the kings of the Aridora country have not made public the existence of me or Kugarg.

That said, it's "The Son of the Spirit is born!" To the extent that we have not made a major announcement or anything, we are not completely hiding our existence.

Almost all the knights of the Alidra Nation will be informed of their existence so that they can protect us smoothly when something happens, and others who work in the Royal Castle will see us coming to visit from time to time.

Besides, it's possible that people from the village of Corbi near the northern fort are talking about me in other towns.

It wouldn't be that hard to get information about me or Kugarg if Zillant's spy were entering Alidra.

Did the Shigeye knight think so, too, that he would not pursue King Zeeland any further?

"And the Spirit..."

King Zeeland turns his gaze to Saint Narcisse and says:

"Why do you have the Knight of Alidra here? Has the Spirit brought you?

"Well, yeah"

"I'm in trouble, Spirit. I don't think it's easy to get people from other countries into the castle."

Saint Narcisse got a little grumpy when he was bitterly complained about by King Zeeland. I don't seem used to being pissed off or noticed by people.

"I was going to move out of here soon anyway. Besides, whoever you bring into this room is on my own. I don't know what it's like for you, the king of this country, to be alert to strangers from other countries, but that's none of my business. I'm not interested in the relationship between the country and the country."

"Yeah, I know. But I'm glad you're interested..."

King Zeeland says modestly with a make-up laugh.

But San Narcisse continued to be cold.

"I guess you want me to move more actively. Instead of being content in one of these rooms, he wants me to work with you to invade another country, interested in expanding our territory."

"Oh, I'm not thinking about that. It's hard to just rule the country, like invading another country."

King Zeeland is a little panicked, worried about the knight in the eye, a man from another country.

"Well, I don't care what you think. I just live free with me."

"Yeah, go ahead, do as the Spirit pleases. I am enough for the Spirit to stay in this castle."

King Zeeland smiled like he had made there again. The face is very frigid, but the phrase 'it's hard just to rule the country, so I'm not thinking about invading another country or anything' just now also sounded like I meant it.

"By the way, I'd like to entertain your snow and flaming spirits, but the spirits aren't eaten, are they?

"I don't need hospitality. We're already going."

"Oh, you didn't say that, a little more -"

King Zeeland has held back, but Saint Narcisse used mobility by saying "bye". Kgarg, the knight of the ship's eyes holding me and me, is also wrapped in light together.

I was wondering where the hell I was going to move this time, and I came back into the woods again.

"Is that it? The woods just now?

I look around and say. But I didn't see the town I was seeing earlier, and all around me are trees.

Is this deep in the woods? The trees are all big and grow a lot of leaves, so they block out the sunlight and are a little dim.

But there was no creepy atmosphere, it was a quiet and calming place.

The moss grows there, but they are all beautiful green. It's a quiet forest that barely makes any noise, except you can hear the birds chirping in the distance.

Saint Narcisse answers my questions and says:

"This isn't like the forest of the Aridora country I was just in. Neither is Zeeland. It's a forest in another country, far from those two countries. The heart of a great forest, never divided by humans"

It's a nice little forest.

It's a nice place to be. But Saint Narcisse says:

"But it's too plain. Even if I live here all the time, I have to go out of the woods from time to time and stay in a gorgeous place like the one of the castles in Zylant just now, somehow it's not enough. Besides, there's not enough sunlight because the trees in the woods block the light. I want to get some light."

You want it like a photosynthetic plant, I thought.

But if you don't like this forest, you don't have to assume 'I don't care if you live here forever'. Saint Narcisse just needs to keep living in a castle in Zylant, and you're free to go anywhere.

"We're gonna walk a little."

And, Saint Narcisse walked out to us in solidarity. I wonder where you're going?
