At the Northern Fort

Overcoming (1)

Mr. Tina, on the afternoon of Mr. Lekka's off duty day, to overcome Mr. Lekka's phobia, Woodbaum also invited us to stand in front of the pantry.

The chef says no, so he also leaves the keys open.

This pantry isn't that big, but that's probably why it's small and scared of Mr. Rekka.

There are no windows, and it's dark inside if you don't leave the door open.

"Mr. Rekka, are you okay? You can always tell me if you're scared."

"Yeah, a little scary, but I'd like to try"

Mr. Rekka grabbed his fist all the time. The expression is a little stiff, but I also see motivation. Makes me want to reward Mr. Rekka for working so hard, but you won't need a jerky.

"Well, stay outside at last.... Oh, this way."

The fairy, which only emitted light, was difficult to see in the sun and had seen and talked to a completely different place.

"Should I wait outside, too?

"No, be sure to join Master Woodbaum... unless it's annoying"

Mr. Rekka seems scared to go in alone from the start. Seems to be as good with everyone as possible, and ask Woodbaum to do the same.

"Sure, fine. If I can help you."

"Thank you. So... I'll go."

He was also afraid to get in the lead, and followed Mr. Teena into the pantry. Mr. Rekka's biggest trauma was that he was put in a crate when he was kidnapped, but before he came to the northern fort, he was about to be locked in a warehouse, so I guess he also remembers the fear then. Maybe this kind of warehouse looks more horrible to Mr. Rekka than his own room at night or a narrow fortified aisle.

Mr. Teena, Mr. Rekka, and me and Woodbaum go inside the pantry in the order. The entrance and exit tree doors remain wide open.

It's narrow inside, with vegetables, fruits, cereals, and cheese and alcohol on the floor and shelves. Seems like a lot of food is stocked up for those underground, but the fort is going to hold for a few days just for what's here.

"How's it going, Mr. Rekka?

I turn around in front of Mr. Rekka and look up at him.

"I'm fine now. Because the door is open."

Her voice and expression were calm. Looks like you're not lying.

But at that moment...

For a moment I thought a gust of wind sounded loud with the van and at the same time my vision darkened.

Everyone shakes their shoulders in a vicious manner.

Apparently, the wind pushed the door and closed it well.

"Bi, surprised"

The outside light is leaking thinly to match the arch shape of the door, as I drew a line with a white colored pencil on black drawing paper, but I can't even get the floor near the door lit up that much.

Sometimes my eyes weren't used to the dark yet, and I couldn't even confirm what Tina, Rekka and Woodbaum were supposed to be right around the corner.

"Everybody okay? Mr. Rekka, are you all right?

I feel like there's nobody around me in the dark, so I'm relieved by Mr. Teena's voice.

"Mr. Rekka?

Tina said worryingly. Because of the sudden events, the sound of Mr. Rekka's breathing was getting shorter and shallower.

"Mr. Rekka, let's get out of here."

"It's the first time, and there's nothing you can't do. You're opening the door."

"Yes, no, I'm still fine. But hey, squat for spiritual unity..."

That said, it was when Mr. Rekka started squatting on the spot.

Chuh, chuh, and I heard a little noise coming from my feet.

What's that noise? And, I clear my ears, and look under my feet, though I see nothing in the dark.

"Chutsch."

It also sounds like some kind of ringing. Plus a small footstep walking around the floor.

Or if this is...

As soon as I realized who the mysterious sound was, footage began to flow like a running lantern on my head.

Hole in the wall of the discourse room. The way I look napping on the couch. And that little enemy approaching my hind legs.

When that footage broke off, "Chuh" sounded underfoot again, and I was screaming fear.

"Bye-ah!?"

I wanted to say that the rat was on my leg, but I couldn't get my mouth around it, and it made me look like a strong country grandmother.

I can't tell if this rat is the rat that showed up in the bickering room, but if it's a rat with me, my meatballs could be targeted again.

Even though the meatballs are sensitive, the hair on my back is turned upside down when I wish I could be twitched.

Meanwhile, Ms. Teena, hearing my cry, seemed to have heard the word rat firmly from it, screaming as loudly as I did.

"Oh rat!? No!

"Hey, what the fuck!?"

And Woodbaum seemed to jump up surprised by the voices of the two of us. I'm surprised that the corners hit the nearby shelves, the ingredients made a loud noise and collapsed, and I'm surprised myself again.

"Wow! Something fell! Something fell. I'm sorry!

Panicking with pakapaka hooves. Apologizing in surprise is clever.

But if Woodbaum had allowed me to calm down, I would no longer have heard rats squeal or footsteps.

He may have escaped to the corner in surprise of screams and noises.

Exhale good and tell everyone.

"Sorry, surprise me. Rat, I think he's gone."

"Les, there's something about Mr. Rekka, and we should get out of here."

Tina said, freaking out at the rat, walking towards the door in the dark. Whether my eyes had gotten used to it or because it was a fox, I was able to check everyone's silhouette out loud.

"Mr. Rekka, what are you doing?

"Yes...... Um, but I guess it's time to get out."

"Yeah, don't mumble"

Mr. Teena will open the door now. Mr. Teena...

"Mr. Tina?

After all this time the door wouldn't open, so I looked back and said so.

"Wait, it's kind of weird"

"Hmm?

"I don't have a handle, the door's spilling... what is it, this"

I say in confusion. Indeed, the light outside, which was leaking along the outline of the door, also seems to be out.

I also approached the door wondering what was going on and stepped on something bumpy and uplifting in front of it. Hard and rough.

But if you smell it, you'll soon find out who you are.

"A tree."

Besides, it wasn't a tree that stretched straight, it was like a thick crawl that twisted. It grows like a root from a wooden door, and it sticks to floors, walls, and ceilings, making it impossible to open and close doors.

I remember what happened in the colloquium a while ago. Would he not have grown such a tree crawl from all over when Woodbaum had a rat hole blocked?

"Wood balm?"

I said to the black silhouette of Woodbaum. He sounds sorry after twitching his hooves twice.

"... I'm sorry, I'm surprised you used your powers."

In the pantry, it quieted down.

Mr. Rekka is solidified like a statue.

"Ma, wait. Push as hard as you can and it might open."

Ms. Teena started pushing the door so hard, she didn't even rattle and shake. The crawl is perfectly integrating the door with the pantry.

I tried biting the crawl desperately, too, but I just could scratch a little bit of it and I'm completely toothless.

and then.

"I can't get out..."

Everyone looked back at Mr. Rekka in blushing and whining words.

"I can't get out, Chamber... closed, dark... space..."

Mr. Rekka's solitaire doesn't stop with bumps. This sucked, Tina and I both stepped away from the door and went back to Mr. Rekka.

"Mr. Rekka, be careful!

"Yes, why don't you try it very hard? Right?"

The two of us continue to speak to Mr. Lekka in awe.

I guess I'll go to the knight with the eye on the move and call for help. But still, Mr. Rekka will remain locked inside until he has the door broken from the outside.

I wish I could use mobility with Mr. Rekka, but I don't know if I can take a human because I've only flown with the Spirit before, and I'm afraid if I fail and Mr. Rekka's body goes wrong.

The next moment I was going through a lot of thoughts in my head - a low sound rang with Don, and the door to the pantry shook.

Woodbaum pointed the corner at the door and was pushing.
