"Filth?" Yu Kong frowned, a trace of unease flashed in his heart.

"Yes... all weak, useless, and unassimilable existences... are filth... need to be cleansed..." The grey creature spoke, its figure flashed like a ghost rushing towards Yu Kong!

Its speed was incredibly fast, its methods of attack strange and deadly, the bone spikes at its joints like blades, each swing carried with it a wave that tore through space.

The grey creature’s attack landed on the Array, making a muffled sound. The Array trembled violently, its light rapidly dimming.

A crisp sound, one of the grey creature’s arms was sliced off by a hand blade from Yu Kong! Where it broke, there was no blood, only the gray keratin layer shattering.

"Ah!" the grey creature let out a painful scream.

Yu Kong did not pause, his figure turning, a sweeping kick lashed out, fiercely striking the grey creature’s waist!

Bam!

The grey creature flew out like a rag doll, crashing into the distant ruins, stirring up a cloud of dust.

It struggled to stand, but its body was already riddled with cracks, grey aura continually seeping out from the fissures.

"You... you are not an ordinary cultivator..." the grey creature pointed a remaining hand at Yu Kong, its voice filled with fear, "You... you possess that kind of aura... damned Guardian!"

Guardian?

Cleansing all weak and useless life is called rebirth? What a distorted concept!

Yu Kong felt a strong surge of anger.

He thought of the fall of Kao Mountain Sect, of the potential peril Xu Ran might have faced, of Xu Qinghan’s sorrow. Is all this related to this so-called "great existence"?

The grey creature didn’t even have time to dodge, it was hit directly by the punch! Its body exploded in mid-air, turning into countless grey specks of light.

The light points dissipated, leaving only the remaining, denser grey aura in the air.

Yu Kong stood in place, panting heavily. Killing this grey creature had cost him greatly.

The Spiritual Power within almost exhausted, his clothes torn by the previous attacks, revealing multiple scars.

But his eyes were brighter than ever.

He felt it. That feeling of being one step away had disappeared, replaced by a sensation of thorough euphoria!

In that recent battle, under the extreme pressure, spurred by the Guardian Will, he finally integrated all his previous insights, all his Dao Rhyme, with his own flesh, soul, and power!

His Dao was no longer just an insight, but truly became a part of him!
