Chapter 543 - 573: Tit for Tat
A computer science student happened to be passing by and saw the whole thing. He immediately rushed off to tell Shen Yi.
Shen Yi was incredibly busy these days—so busy he didn’t even have time for lunch with Qin Jiao. The young couple could only get affectionate at night, back in their home at the Rose District.
His professor had just assigned him a design project when he heard a classmate say that Shen Feng had actually confessed to his girlfriend, Qin Jiao. Shen Yi immediately abandoned his half-finished program—and his professor—and bolted toward the law school.
But when he got there, he didn’t see Qin Jiao. Instead, he heard she was at the library, so he took off running again.
He ran into Qin Jiao on the way.
Qin Jiao watched him approach, his forehead covered in sweat from rushing. It was already almost October, and Octobers in North City were cool. There was no reason for anyone to be sweating so profusely.
"Shen Yi, what’s wrong?"
Shen Yi ran over and wrapped his arms around Qin Jiao, stunning her.
He said in her ear, "They said Shen Feng confessed to you."
Even though he didn’t believe in that book, the fact that it said Qin Jiao and Shen Feng were the ones meant to be a couple made Shen Yi feel insecure.
He knew his Jiao Jiao’s heart wouldn’t stray, but he was still terrified!

’An old professor walking by saw them clinging to each other and was already glaring at them! And a professor from the law school, no less!’

He cleared his throat and asked, "Are they really getting married?"
"Mhm. I ran into Lin Nian when I was leaving the Rose District today. She’s the one who told me. She even invited us to the wedding. Oh, right, and when I got back to campus just now, I ran into Sun Lili threatening to kill herself. She was having a complete meltdown, all because Shen Feng is marrying Lin Nian."

Shen Yi said, "Shen Feng came to our wedding. It’s only right we return the favor for his. We have to go."
