Chapter 555 - 585: Perhaps She Had Been Wrong All Along
At first, the old matriarch was still a bit haughty. She would frequently lecture her daughter on how to properly dote on her son-in-law. She would even tell her second son’s wife the same old-fashioned things, like how she needed to serve Zhong Hui dutifully because she hadn’t borne him a son.
She even lectured Qin Jiao, telling her to hurry up and give Shen Yi a son so she could keep him.

Qin Zhonghui and Sun Jianhua finished setting up the table and even trimmed the nearby grapevines. As for Beidou, he had a camera, snapping photos, lending a hand, and generally joining in on the fun.

Since Qin Jiao put it that way, Shen Yi couldn’t insist any further and followed her inside.
Little Gu Duo had the sharpest eyes. She spotted Qin Jiao and Shen Yi from a distance, immediately abandoned Xiao Sun Yu, and ran toward them, waving her chubby little hands.
