Chapter 569 - 599: Designing Clothes for the Baby

For years, Jiu Yi had been a leader in fashion. But creativity could be a bottleneck; sometimes you hit a wall, and not every new product was guaranteed to be a hit with the public.
Without proper market research, or if there was a mistake in strategic direction, they could end up with a surplus of inventory and damage their market position.
Qin Jiao reviewed the performance of the fall collections from the past two years. "Xiao Yue, do you have any new ideas? Or have you noticed any new trends lately?"
Jiang Xiaoyue said, "Xiao Jiao, I think we should launch a children’s line this fall. Right now, Jiu Yi focuses on products for young adults, but the children’s apparel market is actually huge. Plus, we could create some matching parent-child outfits. I bet those would be really popular."
Qin Jiao realized she hadn’t misjudged her; Jiang Xiaoyue really had a great eye for the fashion business.
However, she said, "If we’re going to make children’s clothing, we’ll have to be even stricter with quality control for the raw materials. Children’s skin is much more delicate."
"Yeah, of course. That’s the most important thing. If you give the go-ahead, I’ll get a team together and start on the designs. Then next year, when your baby is born, I’ll design a few special outfits just for him to wear!"
