A carriage arrived from the Kingdom of Krabble at Fort Aldes, where light snow fell.

They were in a pretty hurry, so it's a two-headed carriage to start.

It was the merchants of that time who came into the hall guided by mobile infantry guarding the fort.

"We finally got it! I went all the way out there. I've carried 200 in the meantime. It's a beautiful cocoon, but how does Sylvania use this?

As soon as a crate wrapped in cloth was placed on the table, I could tell the manoeuvring infantry on duty to put it in the outside aisle.

"Right......... If it goes well, you'll know next fall. Stay tuned. There may be more traded goods."

I asked Mu to carry my glass of brandy, and for now, here's to you.

Probably went pretty far east. If so......

"Did you find the lacquer? And didn't you get pottery, too?

"Do you understand..."

The merchants are nodding at each other.

"Pottery is a great product. I could buy three boxes in a crate. We will give you a cup of tea. And..., I bought the lacquer in a small tar. I was hoping you could tell me how to make a spiral."

"Find a mechanic who can work with precision. Dig the pattern into the tree and embed the shell there. It was the shell that was embedded. The southern ocean can take such beautiful and glowing shellfish. Use a lacquer to glue it. When the shellfish is stretched and painted on top of the shellfish, and finally brushed with charcoal, the shellfish pattern emerges and becomes something like that."

Finally tell them that there is humidity to dry the lacquer. Well, roughly, I taught you, so you'll figure it out later with the craftsmen's ingenuity.

"Don't you know how to make pottery?

"I know roughly, but I think that would be a story ahead. It must be a problem to make it all in Sylvania."

"Right. First of all, we must confirm its value and also consider cooperating with the Kingdom of Friendship. I think the spiral alone is quite a concession, though?

Sadie, who was listening to the merchants next door, tells them to talk, and the merchants are just as quiet.

I agree with Sadie. If there's a glaze in the climbing kiln and the clay, it should work out, but the truth is I don't know what that is.

Even after silkworm breeding is on track, it's not too late.

Besides, I'd like to go out to the ocean once.

"We were certainly arbitrary. It is only a deal if there is cooperation between kingdoms. You don't have to look at my shape to see the kids."

"That would be one big business, wouldn't it? I don't think I can do it right away, either."

Still, having gained the feeling that it was possible, a delightful color appeared on their faces.

Sometimes the number of cocoons is double, and when they try to make additional payments, they rush to decline.

"Not at all. It was the price of a few silver coins over there. We were happy to pay generously, so it must have been really cheaper."

"But thank you to me. If it doesn't work, I'd like to ask you again."

Nodding at my words, the two merchants left.

Now, here's the start of a big business.

I'm already ready. Why don't you aim for the mulberry sprouts next spring and let them hatch?

"You don't look like you're up to something. You're gonna make it?

"Come on...... I don't know unless I try all this. It wasn't until I grew up pretty big. This time it will hatch from the eggs."

Sadie and Mu are looking down the aisle at my words.

You think I'm gonna hatch a little hyoko? Let's get him to a hidden village before he gets taunted.

"You think this will determine Sylvania's future?

"I don't expect it to go well from the start. First, watch carefully until you hatch it and make a cocoon. This is a summary of how we raised them."

The longhouse-style log house is nearly 20 m long. I make the shelves in three rows and two steps, but there are two other things besides this building, so I think I can raise quite a few silkworms.

"You're going to peel four times. At the end of the day, you throw up a thread from your mouth and make a cocoon..."

Several Cats other than Mr. Lady surround the table near the entrance to the building.

An old man shrugged looking at the note I put on the table.

"He's a man named Iryl. I'm asking my elders to put this business together."

Mr. Lady tells me in a whisper in my ear.

The elders agreed to this plan. You must have assigned me someone responsible.

"It's pretty easy to grow if you peel twice. If there was a problem, it would be around the first peel from hatching. It's troublesome because you have to chop and feed the food."

"That's nothing... Are you sure you can prosper the cat village by getting a moth cocoon?

Sure, it's a story that makes me want to suspect, but it doesn't seem like there's anything out there for you to trust me with.

"We will pay the daily allowances of the villages of Altenham for the days worked by the people who do this work. If you're on track, you'll be able to pay more per diem than that."

He seems a little unconvinced, but I wonder what this is because he doesn't know what a cocoon is worth.

"But can you really leave this job to us alone?

"If you go in other villages, the surrounding kingdoms will start immediately. Keep your work secret until you get a cocoon in silkworm breeding. I entrust other villages and towns with the task of obtaining yarn from cocoons. It would be a job outside the Kingdom of Sylvania to weave cloth with that yarn."

Prevent the spread of breeding techniques with the division of labour within the division of labour. If I could make yarn, I'd just like to work in the village of Mictos.

In a snowy mountain village, it's a valuable cash income.

"It's a distillery in a village to the north, and this work is going to be hidden."

"The distillery will also be built in the north fort in the future, but the only village in our time is in the north. I hear the no.2 squeeze, which doesn't age, is pretty well sold."

"It seems to be traded at five times the value of wine. Is maturation a goal of two years?

"You can say half in a year and the rest in the second year. I'm planning to do ten and fifteen times that."

In my words, the faces of the gathered cats were dusted.

When selling a product to them for two years, they can receive one tar as a share. Two tall for us royalty. The rest of the tar will be sold, but you should give each kingdom six bottles. It's gonna be a lot of things, isn't it?

"It's hard to believe, but there are many merchants who want that booze. I guess that cocoon does, too, but when it's done, how?

I suppose Mr. Eiryl's concern is to say that the village of the north will soon come to light.

"It's just fine. I have an idea."

He gave me a relieved look by saying that he had already taken care of it.

All you have to do is make the cocoon move in winter. To do this, I need to kill the sanagi in the cocoon, but if I dip it in hot water for a short period of time, it would be fine, and it would be convenient to remove surface debris.

Having the yarn spun over the long winter will be the job of a farmer in the village of Mictos.

"I'll leave the rest to you. When the mulberry leaves come out, the incubation will begin by raising the temperature in the room."

"At first you give young leaves by finely chopping them. I'll keep it. … thank you for adding our cats to the business that also serves as the backbone of Sylvania."

I guess it does become a state business. No, it would be an even bigger business between kingdoms. Nevertheless, it does not last. Any time chemical technology develops, it will become obsolete.

In the meantime, we're going to find the next core industry, but if we use the university and the freak population successfully, we'll figure it out.

I said goodbye to Mr. Eiryl and the others and decided to head back to Fort Aldes.

In the saddle of my riding Canator, there was a bag containing about ten yarn balls.

Is that a souvenir for Mr. Marian and Mu?

Soon Mu was ready to knit, but Sadie's refreshing, isn't she? I had some predictions, though.

As soon as I arrived at the fort, Mu brought me coffee as soon as I started a dress in the hall.

Removing the yarn balls given to the souvenirs in the Hidden Village makes me smile.

"You just have to share it with Mr. Marian. Thanks for the teegel sweater during this time. You looked cuter than usual."

"I haven't had enough practice yet. But if you're happy, I'm happy too."

I'm sure he'll make it again.

Chris' stuff is knitted by Mr. Marian, but Teagel's got Mu working hard on it. I think I should knit some of my stuff.

Watch the map over a cup of coffee.

I'd like to see the canal plan for the first time next year. It would be good just over the village of Altenham for now. I guess it would also be an advance practice against future major works because of the bridge on the street and the lowlands along the way, and the hills that aren't very high. I just want to be within 3 meters of the canal without expanding it too much. The depth would be enough for about 1m given the flat-bottom ship as well.

Gateways and playgrounds. Water discharging equipment for irrigation into local fields……. It's a few tens of kilometers away, but you've got a lot to do.

I've been thinking about it for about a few years, but even at this distance, it seems like it could take ten years.

Nevertheless, I can make plans like this because I have an accurate map. I can't thank the Surveying Unit and the cartographer enough.
