Diya was prepared for Yu Bao to unleash the Sandstorm in any direction.

However, to Diya’s surprise, Yu Bao didn’t unleash it in any direction... Instead, he made the Sandstorm revolve around himself at high speed!

Diya was reminded of a certain famous scene he had witnessed while secretly watching TV.

However, he soon discovered that the situation was far more serious than he had imagined.

In nature, it’s usually strong winds that kick up sand, forming a powerful sandstorm. Yet Yu Bao had reversed this process. Using his control over the Earth Element, he manipulated the sand to rotate at high speed, which in turn drove the surrounding airflow to create a whirlwind.

Sand and dust alone, of course, weren’t enough to extinguish the Star Fire. No matter how dense the sand, some embers could always survive, ready to be rekindled for a later comeback.

But the wind was another matter...

Under Yu Bao’s "tornado destroys the parking lot" offensive, the whirlwind spread out with Yu Bao at its center.

The embers of Star Fire that were slightly closer were instantly annihilated by the storm, not leaving even a single spark behind. The embers farther away were caught by the wind’s suction, "sucked" in toward Yu Bao, and immediately extinguished!

Yu Bao had turned himself into a mobile flame vacuum cleaner!

This maneuver also stunned the two teachers watching from the stands.

After all, Sandstorm was a skill typically learned by Pet Beasts in desert regions during their daily hunts. ’Deserts have wind, that’s perfectly normal,’ he reasoned, ’so it’s also normal for a Sandstorm to generate strong winds at the same time...’

Seeing the two teachers fall silent, Shao Ya, who was sitting behind them, raised her hand, wearing an expression that just screamed, ’I know the answer to this one!’

"His Energy Perception and Control Ability has already surpassed the racial limits of a Yu Dian Dog. We shouldn’t be looking at him as just a Yu Dian Dog."

"Only Yu Bao could increase the speed of a Sandstorm to this degree, generating a wind strong enough to extinguish those flames. When it comes to Energy Control, he’s already surpassed many Control Type Earth Element Pet Beasts."

Zhou Shengfa, the head teacher, was silent for a long moment before suddenly chuckling.

"It’s a good thing Su Zhi is a rebel."

"Saaa!!"

Seeing Yu Bao running around, vacuuming up the embers from almost half the stage, Diya hurriedly gathered his flames and revealed himself. He didn’t dare to keep hiding any longer.

And thanks to Yu Bao’s cleanup, embers now only remained in the area directly ahead, making it much easier to watch for Diya’s reappearance.

He could even use the Perception from his Earth Force Field to detect Diya’s likely point of reappearance in advance and launch an immediate counterattack!

Spotting a cluster of embers beginning to coalesce, Yu Bao’s gaze sharpened, and he summoned a Quicksand Shield, slamming it toward them.

In an instant, the Quicksand Shield finished forming and came crashing down with immense force.

He saw the Quicksand Shield, just as it was about to fly off the stage, suddenly reform in mid-air into two Furious Sand Blades that came whistling toward him!

"Saa!? QAQ"

Diya had never imagined Yu Bao had a trick like this up his sleeve. With no time to even think about dodging, he could only brace himself for the hit.

Fortunately, he was a Purple Flame Demon Spirit now. And while his body wasn’t exactly durable, he could use some blocking techniques to barely withstand an attack that wasn’t overwhelmingly powerful.
