The door opened, and the four people playing cards all turned to look in unison.
Liu Yuhang had just slammed down a card when he saw Su Zhi. "Brother Shu, you’re back? Where’d you go just now?"
"Nowhere special."
Before Su Zhi could speak, Shao Ya walked in after him with a stern face. She yanked him aside and then plopped herself down on the sofa.
Her azure eyes swept across the living room, her gaze icy and hard.
Everyone could sense she was in a bad mood, so they stopped playing and, as if by silent agreement, began to clean up.

Then, before he could notice, she switched back to her ice-queen expression. "Wrong about what?"
Su Zhi lowered his head even further. "I... I shouldn’t have touched..."
Shao Ya remained expressionless. "That’s not it."
"Huh?" Su Zhi looked up, confused. "So you mean I can tou—OW OW OW!"
Before he could finish his sentence, the girl rained a flurry of blows on him. Su Zhi covered his head and crouched down defensively as the living room filled with screams worthy of Tom Cat.
"Go ahead and touch it! Touch it! Of course you can touch it! It feels so great, it’d be a shame not to, right?!"
The girl ground her teeth, but seeing him cowering with his head in his hands, she was both annoyed and amused. "What are you cowering for? Show me that wild side of yours."
Su Zhi said pitifully, "I was wrong..."
"Wrong about what?"
"My wild side is only for you to see, no one else..."

After a moment of silence, Shao Ya finally couldn’t hold it in anymore and collapsed onto the sofa, roaring with laughter.
Su Zhi sat beside her, hands tucked away, and finally let out a sigh of relief. ’Look at her, laughing so hard. Where’s a trace of that anger from before?’

As soon as he said it, Su Zhi leaned straight in.
And just like that, their lips met.
In that instant, their entire world was filled with the taste of each other.
The girl’s brain short-circuited. Then, as if she’d finally processed what was happening, her eyes slowly widened.
Su Zhi blinked with great interest, watching as her face was gradually overcome with a wine-red blush, her body grew hot, and her azure pupils quaked violently.

A pink fist the size of a sandbag slammed into him.

Shan Bao figured Yu Bao must have his reasons for doing so, and went back to feigning sleep as well.

"N-Not... dead yet..." Su Zhi said dizzily, stumbling back two steps and using the wall to stay upright.

Seeing him walk toward his bedroom, Shao Ya shot up. "Where are you going?"

With that, she reached out, grabbed Su Zhi by the collar, and hauled him back, plopping him onto the sofa.
Then, with a swing of her long legs, she sat right on top of him.

Shao Ya shook her head, muttering as she quickly pulled him up.
Su Zhi had just breathed a sigh of relief when Shao Ya flipped him over and sat on him again.
RRRIP! His collar was yanked open. A second later, he felt the touch of her delicate teeth on the back of his neck, followed by a sharp pain as she bit down.
"Lady! Have mercy!"
"Jeez, shut up! I’m almost done!"
"Seriously, what is even happening right now..."

Su Zhi, looking utterly wronged, finished getting dressed and said his goodbyes in a small voice. "I’m going to bed now. Goodnight."

The girl sat sprawled on the sofa, watching as Su Zhi returned to his bedroom, clutching the back of his neck. A small smile played on her lips.
