Li Qian’s family of three arrived in Zhonghai City, and as soon as they did, they were spotted by Li Sukuai, who was stationed there.

"Hey kid, off to Shazhou City today?" The family of three had just left the underground Teleportation Array and reached the main hall of the Transmission Center when Li Sukuai appeared before them, a smile on his face as he greeted them.

Yu Jinhai had already returned to Zhonghai City, and his return meant that the outcome of Li Qian’s choice had reached the ears of quite a few people.

Given Li Sukuai’s status and connections, he was naturally among them.

Besides, it would have been impossible to keep something like this a secret. After all, Yu Jinhai hadn’t gone to Lingshui City to recruit Li Qian by himself.

Aware of the situation, he didn’t mistakenly assume that Li Qian had come to enroll at Zhonghai Beast Taming University.

"I’m about to head to Shazhou City, but before I go, I need to evolve an Extreme Fierce Storm Eagle," Li Qian said, looking at Li Sukuai with a smile of his own.

Li Qian had a very good impression of Li Sukuai; the man had helped him out a great deal.

If it weren’t for him, successfully evolving the Extreme Fierce Sky Escape Eagle would have been a much greater hassle.

"It’s a small thing." Li Sukuai slowly walked over and patted Li Qian’s shoulder, like a kind, benevolent senior looking at a promising young successor.

If any of the other Transmission Center employees saw this, they would undoubtedly be stunned.

Li Qian’s family then made small talk with Li Sukuai inside the Transmission Center. After a little while, they followed him to a mysterious, underground Teleportation Room.

This Teleportation Room, unlike the others, wasn’t open to the public. It was reserved for the Transmission Center’s internal use or for emergencies.

This was the Teleportation Room Li Sukuai had arranged for Li Qian to use for the Extreme Fierce Storm Eagle’s evolution into an Extreme Fierce Sky Escape Eagle.

Upon arriving in the underground Teleportation Room with Li Sukuai, Li Qian wasted no time. Once everyone else had left, he began the Extreme Fierce Storm Eagle’s evolution.

’Li Saint really is something else...’ Li Qian thought, shaking his head with a wry laugh.

Evolving the Extreme Fierce Storm Eagle into an Extreme Fierce Sky Escape Eagle here meant he couldn’t escape the notice of the Transmission Center.

But he trusted that Li Sukuai wouldn’t pry.

He trusted both Li Sukuai’s character and his own judgment.

"Mom, Dad, just wait here. This will be quick," Li Qian said with a smile.

With that, he quickly entered the Teleportation Room.

The Teleportation Room door slid shut, leaving Mr. Li, Mrs. Li, and Li Sukuai behind.

"That kid’s always been a whirlwind, ever since he was little," Li Chengyang remarked.

"Please don’t mind him, Senior," Han Yuqing added.

"I quite like his personality. He’s decisive, capable, and talented," Li Sukuai complimented.

Li Chengyang chuckled. "He gets that from me!"

Li Sukuai was speechless.

Seeing this, Han Yuqing shot him a look of disdain and instinctively edged a little farther away from her husband.

Inside the Teleportation Room, the Array activated.

Waves of white light engulfed the man and his beast.

Having been through this many times, Li Qian was used to it.

’Good, that went very smoothly.’ A smile touched Li Qian’s lips once the teleportation was complete.

’What in the world is on the other side?’ After glancing at the now fully evolved Extreme Fierce Sky Escape Eagle, Li Qian turned his attention to the familiar iron door.

This was the destination of the Teleportation Array.

It was a place much like a darkroom, with very dim lighting.

The space wasn’t large and looked rather old—a stark contrast to the other end of the Teleportation Array.

The darkroom was walled on three sides, with a single door in the northeast corner.

An iron door.

Li Qian was quite curious about what lay beyond it.

But curious as he was, he had no intention of opening the door to take a look.

Li Sukuai had specifically told him not to wander off or touch anything after he arrived.

Li Qian considered himself someone who took advice, so he reined in his curiosity.

’Best not to stir up trouble,’ he thought, and walked back to the Teleportation Array.

With a flash of Energy, Li Qian’s figure vanished from the Teleportation Array.

But in the final moments before he disappeared, he thought he heard strange sounds coming from behind the mottled, old iron door.

They sounded like they were made by some kind of monster or wild beast, enough to send a shiver down one’s spine.

Li Qian heard the sound, but it wasn’t entirely clear. He vaguely glanced back, but he was already in High-dimensional Space, with nothing but a gray haze behind him.

"Li Saint is overseeing this place, so there won’t be any accidents. Besides, the Zhonghai City Transmission Center wouldn’t have set up this route for no reason," Li Qian muttered to himself.

He looked at the newly evolved Extreme Fierce Sky Escape Eagle beside him. "You heard that too?"

"CHIRP! CHIRP!" the Extreme Fierce Sky Escape Eagle responded.

Man and beast returned to the Zhonghai City Transmission Center. Upon their return, Li Qian put what had just happened out of his mind.

It came back to the same old saying: until your strength reached a certain level, there was no point in overthinking things.

"You’re really something, kid." The three of them turned their complicated gazes on Li Qian as he walked out of the Teleportation Room. Li Sukuai spoke with a sigh of admiration.

"You should know, the Extreme Fierce Sky Escape Eagle has become a hot commodity that everyone at the Transmission Center is drooling over," Li Sukuai continued. "It’s just a shame there are too few to go around."

Li Sukuai said this, having already learned of the successful evolution through the feedback Han Yuqing had received.

"Here." Li Qian smiled, walked over to his mother, and handed her a Beast Taming Ball.

"Our Xiaotian has really grown up. He can even take care of his mother now," Han Yuqing said, her voice filled with gratification as she accepted the Beast Taming Ball from him.

"Hey, don’t just think about your mother. You need to consider my situation, too! My Power Level is almost at Commander Level, and I still don’t have my third Pet Beast," Li Chengyang said sourly.

Li Qian gave a bashful smile and scratched his head. "Alright, next on my list is to see if there are any research projects on Earth Attribute Pet Beasts."

They talked and laughed for about another half an hour.

Li Qian waved goodbye and entered the underground Teleportation Room again. This time, he headed for one of the public rooms.

He stood in the elevator, calling out to his parents, "Don’t rush back. Stay and have fun in Zhonghai City for a few days."

The words had barely left his mouth before the elevator doors closed, and Li Qian’s figure vanished from the main hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Li felt a sense of loss, while Li Qian was filled with a mix of emotions.

’Shazhou Beast Taming University, here I come!’
