Day four.

Today, we turn to the lower view of the cracked cave in the woods that Ms. Sheena was talking about.

It's only a look down, so it's not going down to the cave, so neither baggage nor equipment is so authentic.

"Mother, what is it?"

"It's lunch."

"Picnic……?"

Ms. Sheena isn't in her usual apron, either, she's an easy-to-move outfit.

It's just like going to a picnic around holding a handheld basket.

"Well, not that far, but be careful on the road, huh?"

"Yes."

"It's like a garden to us."

"Yeah, yeah."

Well, I guess they are because they used the woods as a playground.

Convinced, Mr. Sheena looks at the two people who are good at smiling.

"We were wrecked in the woods, we were chased by boars, and we were half-baked, right? And we're both..."

"Wait a minute, I'm sorry, Mother. No more!!"

"Mother, are you sure you're on our side?"

Does it mean it's dangerous to get too used to it?

Turn away from being good at it, and look at the two of you who are doing so much damage. I think so.

"Oh...?"

"Kite, Kiken Mori, stay alert. Absolutely not"

"Ooh?"

I felt something truthful, so shall we go through?

It would have been funny or something.

"Well, shall we go?"

"Yes!"

"" Yes...... "

Anyway, let's get to our destination first.

I leave the house and go into the woods.

I feel the feeling of the trees gradually narrowing as I go down a path that people are not passing through at all.

"Forests are like a kind of maze. The spaces surrounded by trees confuse perception and make even where we are now blurry."

If you notice, the surroundings are surrounded by trees and the scaffolding is covered with dead leaves.

Sheena looks here when she marks a tree trunk with a knife she had.

"That's why we need a landmark. Even if it's a narrow forest, if you get lost, it's life."

"I see...... You mean it's dangerous to just believe in your senses?"

"Exactly. Well done."

Having smiled in a good mood at my words, Sheena starts walking again.

I take my notebook out of my nostalgia so I don't forget what I was taught earlier.

"Mr. Kite, what's that?"

"It's a notebook?"

Makes me wonder. I show Nea my notebook. [M]

Write down what you've been taught here so you can see it when you want to remember.

"It's life-threatening. And we're going to be able to use it for future adventurer activities."

"Um, because Lord Sheena's teaching is quite practical. Reinforcement in combat is also important, but we also need the ability to deal with all situations."

"... I'm afraid you're going to feel like your mother, Kate."

"Who's your mom?"

"No, I didn't say...?"

Shit, I gave it back to you reflexively.

As we interact like that and go further back, we hit a small cliff.

"Did it collapse in the previous rain?"

It's not that deep, but if it falls, you could get hurt.

Even if you jump over it, if the ground is loose, it could slip straight down due to the impact of the landing.

"You can't help it. Take a detour here..."

"No, it's okay"

"Yes?"

It takes too long to detour.

I call Yulan and Lime out of my water bottle and chest pocket.

"Yulan, lime, scaffolding, can you go?"

"Queue!"

"Shah!"

"Okay, then let's do it"

Once the lime is changed into a cage hand, add a fist to the edge of the cliff.

Keep the magic caged in the lime - creating a bridge while enlarging its body.

"Yulan, Reinforcement and Handrails"

"Sher!"

On top of that, help Lime with Yulan's magic, while building a railing to keep him from falling.

Seena has a surprising look at the finished little bridge.

"Mr. Kite, you're not seriously interested in site surveys or anything like that -"

"Mother, let's go"

"Yeah, 'cause I can hold onto it later"

Mr. Sheena is pushed by the two of us to go on the bridge.

Everyone, including me, has just finished crossing, and I'm going back to Yulan, who was a bridge for me.

"We're almost there."

Apparently, it's just around the corner from here.

There are no cliffs like that earlier, and as you step on the leaves of the trees at your feet - you unnaturally go out into a treeless space.

Large cracks are running on the ground where the sun's rays plug in.

"Ooh..."

I accidentally leak my admiration into a sight that seems fantastic.

This is where the ruins are - and if you think so, you realize there's someone else besides us in that big crack place.

"... hmm? Is anybody there?"

"Sounds like it.... No way, it's unusual to have someone like this here..."

Sheena is surprised, too.

In the meantime, when we move to the vicinity of the big crack, we also notice the figure.

"... you were yesterday?"

"You were... looking for an inn"

It was a man with a large body carrying a large backpack who was there.

Wearing glasses the same as yesterday, he leaves the cliff where he was peering in.

Then Sheena, who was looking at the man in a surprised manner, talks to the man as she remembered.

"Maybe, Mr. Lasse?"

"Eh...!?"

"This is Sheena, daughter of Farrah Urgal."

With that said, I get a hazy look on my face.

Do you know him?

Although Reefa and Nia look like "who?"

"Hasn't it been twenty years? I'm surprised you're not old at all."

"You just look like that because you're an old face! But I never thought you'd be here! You're all grown up!"

A man who speaks that way as he nostalgic, Mr. Lasse next looks at Reefa and Nea.

After looking at it for a few seconds or so, turning his gaze back on Mr. Sheena causes that mouth to cramp.

"Also, could these two..."

"Yes, it's my daughter"

"... yeah, no way, I thought it was similar... but you're lying... I'm gonna feel the flow of time"

Surprisingly but emotionally, Mr. Whimpering Lasse.

He turns his gaze to me next.

"What about your child?"

"This child is also my son."

"Huh!?"

"" Mother!? "

For some reason I'm more surprised than I was earlier, Mr. Lasse.

I was surprised too, but I figured this was a joke like Sheena's, so I decided to get on with it too.

Hi, I'm Kate Urgal.

"" Kite!? "

The good reaction came back to me if I was evil.

Something tells me that Sheena, who looks at this one silently, immediately brings her usual grin to mind.

"He is Mr. Lasse Kulai. He's a senior to me, and he's an amazing researcher of ruins all over the continent?"

"Well, it's not that big of a deal. I'm just a deserter who likes to look around at things like that. I didn't accomplish a great feat like yours."

I'm a deserter and I'm exploring all over the continent.

It's cool at that point already.

Was the backpack that said it was a work tool for that too?

"Does that mean an amazing person who spends his life exploring the unknown...!"

"No, you're not? Well, you didn't do such a respectable thing..."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Alihara Kite...!"

"Hey, are you listening?"

I offer my hand to Mr. Lasse, who is confused.

He looked hesitantly at the hand I offered him, but he shook his hand back with a hand wrapped in a climbing glove with a tense face.

"... it's nice to meet you. Mr. Alihara Kite."

Mr. Lasse smiled gently, albeit inexplicably.

I don't know why he was here yet, but he's probably here to check out the ruins that are here.

Maybe we can investigate it together?
