Beautiful Man

Chapter 321 - Jason vs. Ancient One Mage

It didn't hurt Jason to be denied sarcasm to his face.

He thought about it and said, "Let me guess again, it's not like he saw me doing evil and jumped out to destroy me on behalf of the moon, no, on behalf of the earth, that's too old a plot."

It was supposed to be a joke, but the Ancient One Venerable actually nodded his head.

"Because it's classic, it's cliche. Like I said before, your actions have become a serious threat to the safety of the Earth. If you continue to be left unchecked, there will surely be disasters for Earth in the future."

Jason put away his smile, "No discussion?"

The Ancient One Venerable shook his head, "You are to blame for what has happened."

Jason retorted angrily, "Then may I ask, what crime have I committed that is worthy of having the Supreme Venerable Master do it. Killing someone and setting them on fire? Smuggling and selling the country?"

"Oh, how boring. Do you know how many people have been killed so far by the ruling class of this land? Millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions ...... Compared to them, what's a small fuss for me."

"Since you like to take the moral high ground and make your words so grandiose. Then let me ask, have you ever found trouble with them over the years? Have you ever stopped a war of aggression? Have you ever worked for the good of all mankind?"

"Enough!" The Ancient One Mage had lived for a thousand years and didn't eat his words at all, interrupting directly.

"Why have humans been able to reproduce without becoming extinct? Have you given any thought to this question?"

Jason snorted and asked rhetorically, "Did you do it all?"

Venerable Ancient One nodded and said, "Of course! The duty of the Supreme Master is to stop aliens and dark forces from invading Earth. Threats are everywhere in the universe, and Earth is like a newborn baby that needs to be cared for."

This is so compelling, it's a direct conversation to death.

Jason was unable to argue, but caught a loophole.

"If your job is to stop the aliens and the dark forces ...... then why are you bothering me? I'm a pure-blooded native!"

That really captured the Ancient One Mage's pain, and she looked at Jason with complicated eyes.

"I know ...... so all these years you've been doing all this under my watch, I've never had any trouble with you."

"Just like the questions you just questioned me about, I gave you the same answers as they did. The people of Earth are to blame for killing each other no matter how much they kill each other, as was the case in World War I and as was the case in World War II, and I would never interfere in the affairs of human society."

"But ...... when Thor and Loki showed up, Earth's future gradually became uncontrollable. I had used the Time Gem to travel to the future, but no matter how much I searched for hope, there was only one result."

The Ancient One Venerable looked at him seriously, "Earth will be caught in the quagmire of a cosmic war from which it cannot extricate itself, and the central figure is you!"

The look on her face didn't seem like she was being alarmist, but Jason was still a bit taken aback.

I'm a terrorist at best, and I'm going to be at the heart of a cosmic war?

"So, you want to execute me for a trumped-up crime?"

The Ancient One Venerable shook his head, "It is not a moxie, the Time Gem can travel to the future and the past to any point in time, what I have seen is true."

"Besides, I have no intention of executing you. Like you said, even if you're evil, you're just a local after all. Taking a shot at you is already considered an exception to the rule, so I decided to ......"

Everyone's spirits were high, as if the criminal was awaiting a final judgment.

"I have decided to exile you! Exile to an unknown cosmic space!"

Exile!

If you can't kill me, just throw me out into the universe.

Oh, that's a good idea.

Jason was silent for a moment and let out a slow breath.

Honestly, he truly didn't want to clash with the Ancient One mage, but this nun had to get on his nerves.

"I see what you mean. Then ...... do it."

As soon as his voice fell, Jason exploded with energy.

On his tiptoes, he instantly appeared in front of Gu Yi and swung his fist hard at her face.

Even though the enemy's strength was mysterious, Jason wasn't the master of sitting back and waiting to die.

He wanted to exile him, unless he was defeated first.

The Ancient One Mage seemed to have anticipated this.

Jason's fist was up to her nose, and she didn't dodge or panic, just mouthed the words.

A fist containing energy smashed into Ancient One's face.

But Jason did get a chill, as there was no sensation of hitting the entity at the peak of the fist.

It was as if the fist had struck Loki's illusion, and the entire man had scurried right off the Ancient One's mage.

Jason braked, his expression heavy.

The Ancient One Mage turned around and encouraged him, "Very well, continue."

Jason surfaced in anger and yelled, "Haley, you guys duck!"

"You watch out!" Hallie said worriedly, then immediately instantly teleported everyone away.

Without anyone else present, Jason could let loose his output.

With a movement of his mind, the nuke level energy began to concentrate, condensing into a blue sphere ten meters in diameter.

"Go to hell!"

Jason lifted the ball of energy that contained eighty percent of his body's energy high up in the air and hit it hard.

"Beautiful!" Mage Ancient One smiled and stretched out her palm to draw circles in the air.

Fire flashed in the air and a circle appeared in front of Venerable Ancient One, becoming larger and larger as she continued to draw the circle, while the ball of energy dug right into the circle and disappeared.

"What?"

Jason was a little out of breath, frozen in place at a loss for words.

The fist could only hit the phantom and the energy ball was diverted away by the strange circle, what kind of magic was this stinking nun using.

Seeing that he didn't attack, the Ancient One Mage asked, "What's wrong? Are you out of breath?"

Jason raged, "Don't hide if you can?"

Venerable Gu Yi laughed helplessly, "This request of yours ...... is a bit childish. But in terms of age, you do count as a child with me, I promise you."

Jason was delighted, "That's what you said."

As long as Ancient One didn't dodge, there was still hope of defeating her, even if he was treated like a child for it, Jason was willing to endure.

He gathered the remaining energy into his hands, then moved behind Gu Yi with speed comparable to instantaneous movement and slammed his fist into the back of her head.

He thought that speed was his advantage, but never would have thought that the Ancient One Mage was faster than him.

The moment the fist was about to hit, Gu Yi suddenly turned around and reached out to wrap his hand around the fist.

Boom!

The fist was stopped and the earth trembled violently.

"You ......" Jason was so terrified that his pupils widened instantly.

"Surprised?" Mage Ancient One smiled and said, "More surprising is to come."

Suddenly, Jason felt the energy from his fist being sucked away by someone, and that someone was the Ancient One.

"You have superpowers too?" Jason was busy sucking back the energy.

"No, it's magic." The Ancient One mage explained to him.

Strange, so strange.

Jason could feel the sucked energy right in the palm of the Ancient One's hand.

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't suck it up, instead the Ancient One sucked his energy like he had a pump installed and couldn't stop it.
