Chapter 66: I Told You You Don’t Seem Like the Type to Get a Girlfriend
Although the other person hid quickly, Lin Feng still got a clear look at her.
"Ruoxi."
"I want you to meet someone in a bit."
Lin Feng turned back and said to Su Ruoxi with a smile.
"You want me to meet someone?"
Su Ruoxi looked confused.
She didn’t quite understand what Lin Feng was talking about.
"You’ll see in a minute."
Lin Feng didn’t explain. He just took Su Ruoxi’s hand and helped her into the passenger seat.
Then he got into the driver’s seat himself.
He started the car but didn’t drive off.
He just waited.
"What’s wrong, Brother Feng?"
Su Ruoxi fastened her seatbelt.
She asked, seeing that Lin Feng hadn’t started driving.
"Just a moment. We’re waiting for a little tagalong."
Lin Feng said with a laugh.
’A little tagalong?’
Yes, a little tagalong.
The little tagalong, Lin Xiaoman, had been following them when she suddenly realized she’d lost them.

From the driver’s seat, Lin Feng watched Lin Xiaoman spin around in a confused circle not far ahead.

Just then, his phone rang.

After he answered, Lin Xiaoman’s somewhat helpless voice came from the other end.
"Brother, where are you?"
"I’m at a restaurant eating. What’s up?"
Lin Feng said cheerfully.
The soundproofing in the BMW 7 Series was quite good.
At least, no sound from outside was getting in.
Hearing Lin Feng’s words, Lin Xiaoman froze.
"Huh? You’re at a restaurant?"
"Which restaurant are you at?"
"I’m at the Starry Hotel on Spring Breeze Road. Oh, by the way, I won’t be back for lunch."
At a time like this, Lin Feng couldn’t resist teasing the girl.
Beside him, Su Ruoxi watched Lin Feng, completely baffled.

Hearing this, Lin Feng hung up the phone and slammed on the horn.
Not far ahead, Lin Xiaoman jumped, startled by the sudden blare of the horn.
But after she got a clear look at Lin Feng in the driver’s seat,
a smile instantly appeared on her face.
She then ran toward them.
Lin Feng rolled down the window.
"Get in. Can’t even tail someone without losing them."
Lin Xiaoman looked slightly embarrassed.
She pulled open the rear door handle and got in.
"Brother, aren’t you going to introduce me to my sister-in-law?"
They had been kissing in public, after all.
There was no need to guess about their relationship.
Lin Xiaoman said bluntly.
Her words, however, made both Lin Feng and Su Ruoxi a little awkward.
Lin Feng was fine, for the most part.
On one side was his own sister, and on the other, his girlfriend.
But it was different for Su Ruoxi.
It was true she was Lin Feng’s girlfriend,
and she had never been averse to the idea of meeting his family.
But she wasn’t prepared to meet them just yet.
Especially not under such sudden circumstances.
’I was actually being tailed by my little sister-in-law?’
At this thought, a blush involuntarily crept onto Su Ruoxi’s face.
"Ahem, Xiaoman, this is your Sister Ruoxi."
"Ruoxi, this is my little sister, Lin Xiaoman."
"She’s a bit mischievous. Don’t mind her."
As the ’middleman,’ Lin Feng could only clear his throat and make the introductions.
"Hello, Xiaoman."
Su Ruoxi was, after all, sitting in the car in her capacity as Lin Feng’s girlfriend.
According to seniority, she was considered Lin Xiaoman’s senior.
Even though she might be a few months younger than Lin Xiaoman in age.
"Hehe, hello, sister-in-law."
Seeing Su Ruoxi greet her first,
and even extend her hand,

The two had now officially met.

After Lin Xiaoman got in, Lin Feng turned off the car engine again.
He turned slightly to look at Lin Xiaoman.
"If I recall correctly, I never said I was taking you with me when I left."
Lin Feng looked into Lin Xiaoman’s eyes.

’She’s getting more and more outrageous.’
’Now she’s even started tailing people.’

the smile on Lin Xiaoman’s face immediately vanished.
"Um, first of all, I didn’t follow you here."
"I came to pick up a classmate."
Lin Xiaoman didn’t know how to explain herself, so she just made up an excuse.

He just watched Lin Xiaoman quietly.
His expression was one of ’Go on, I’m watching your little performance.’
Lin Xiaoman couldn’t stand the pressure.

Lin Xiaoman lowered her head slightly.
Not quite daring to meet Lin Feng’s gaze.
"As a tagalong, your current performance is very unsatisfactory."
"So... you can figure out lunch on your own today."
After saying this, Lin Feng said no more.
He just turned back to the front.
Then he started the car and drove out of the airport.
The drive from the airport to the city would take almost an hour.
For a moment, the atmosphere in the car became slightly awkward.
Everyone knew Lin Feng was angry that Lin Xiaoman had followed them without telling him.
But the facts were the facts.
It wasn’t something that could be smoothed over with just a few words.
"Brother Feng, it’s alright."
Su Ruoxi sat in the passenger seat.
Sensing the conflict that had arisen between the Lin siblings over this,
she suddenly felt a little uneasy.
After all, if it weren’t for her,
the Lin siblings wouldn’t be fighting now.

They drove all the way to the restaurant where Lin Feng had already made reservations.
In truth, five-star hotels all come equipped with their own dedicated restaurants and chefs.

Lin Feng knew of many places with better food than a five-star hotel.
Especially the local delicacies of Xiang City.
They were in a league of their own.
When you’re out having fun, if you don’t sample the local cuisine, can you even call it having fun?
