Chapter 86: Lü Na’s Teasing, Is This the Lethality of a Young Married Woman?
She gestured for the waiter.
Lü Na ordered a round of something called "Bombers."
She then got up and slid into the seat next to Lin Feng, making him frown slightly.
"Do you have to sit so close?"
"Of course."
"The information I brought is all on my phone. This just makes it easier for me to explain things to you."
"You’ll see in a bit."
When Lin Feng had checked the time a moment ago,
Lü Na had taken in every single detail.
Never mind anything else—just the watch on Lin Feng’s wrist looked incredibly expensive.
While Lin Feng had never considered getting involved with Lü Na,
the truth was, Lü Na had already set her sights on him.
It might sound ridiculous,
but that was the reality of the situation.
At this point, Lü Na was no longer satisfied with simply closing a deal.
A man who could afford a Patek Philippe watch
and also buy a commercial property outright.
No one would ever believe a man like that was short on cash.
’What if I could win the favor of this wealthy young gentleman?’
’And get a little something extra from Lin Feng?’
Lü Na was no innocent maiden.
For her, it was all about maximizing her gains.
’Besides, what’s the real difference between doing favors for my manager and doing them for Lin Feng?’
’And...’
’Lin Feng is richer, and younger...’
’Maybe if I let him have his way, I could get a nice little bonus for myself!’
As soon as Lü Na sat down beside him,
Lin Feng could clearly smell it.
A strange odor clung to Lü Na,
mixed with the heavy scent of perfume.
The smell made Lin Feng frown.
He didn’t particularly like perfume, or maybe it was just that he disliked the smell of cheap perfume.
Lin Feng edged away.
But Lü Na just took it as her cue to lean in a little closer.
"How did you know I wanted to scoot in a bit, Mr. Lin?"
Lü Na smiled, her vibrant red lips curling.
She didn’t waste any more time on small talk.
She pulled out her phone and opened the photo gallery.
Sure enough, the gallery was filled with photos of commercial properties.
"Mr. Lin, take a look at this property."
"Here’s the floor plan."
"It’s two hundred eighty-two square meters in total."
"It’s on Lin’an Street, near a subway entrance—a truly prime location."
"Based on the property values in that area,"
"the final sale price for this retail space would be around nine and a half million."
’Nine and a half million... that’s pretty close to ten million.’
’It fit his criteria.’
His System’s rebate required a base price of at least nine million.
Lin Feng’s budget was between nine and eleven million anyway.
But after looking at the photos on Lü Na’s phone,
Lin Feng shook his head.
’Everything about the property is good, except it seems a bit long and narrow.’
’The overall layout for renovation would feel a little strange.’
"Do you have any others?"
Lin Feng asked, shaking his head.
"Yes, of course."
Lü Na didn’t hesitate.
She swiped to the next one.
"This one is two hundred and seventy square meters."
"But it’s on a food street."
"It’s a small, two-story building."
"So the asking price is a bit higher."
"This one is priced at nine point seven million."
’Ten square meters smaller, but two hundred thousand more expensive.’
’Location really is everything.’
This one was a better fit for what Lin Feng was looking for.
The new property was intended to be a restaurant.
Being on a food street would naturally be a huge plus.
But it was always best to shop around for something like this.
Lin Feng didn’t show his interest in the property outright.
She continued scrolling through the photos.
The third property was in a business district.
Specifically, it was inside a large shopping mall.
A place like this had one major advantage.
The foot traffic a mall attracts—
people who have spent a morning or afternoon shopping—
would almost always choose to eat at one of the mall’s restaurants.
Yida was a prime example of this business model, with a complete range of merchants catering to every need.
And experience had proven that this model was effective at capturing customers.
You’d never be short of customers, but that was also its ceiling.
"This one is two hundred and eighty square meters."
"And the asking price is around ten point five million."
’It was prime real estate in a commercial center, after all.’
’It was the kind of property that would have no trouble selling.’
"If you’re interested, Mr. Lin, you’ll have to make a decision quickly."
Lü Na leaned her entire body lightly against Lin Feng.
Lin Feng was only wearing a thin shirt, and he could clearly feel the full softness of her chest pressing against him.
"Miss, your drinks are ready."
Thankfully, the young waiter from before returned.
He was carrying a tray of shot glasses.
They weren’t filled with baijiu, however,
but with colorful, layered liquids.
"Your Bomber shots are ready, miss."
The waiter set down the tray and departed.
Lü Na picked up one of the glasses and offered it to Lin Feng,
but Lin Feng held up a hand to stop her.
"Sorry, I don’t like to drink."
’What the hell is this stuff?’
Lin Feng rarely even drank beer, let alone some strange cocktail.
"Oh, come on, Mr. Lin. Just one drink with me."
"Just one."
Even though Lin Feng had already refused, Lü Na had no intention of letting him off the hook.
She kept insisting.
Seeing how insistent she was,
Lin Feng relented and took the glass.
"Just one. Then we talk business,"
Lin Feng said, his brow furrowed.
"Alright."
Seeing Lin Feng accept the glass,
a brilliant smile spread across Lü Na’s face again.
She picked up a glass for herself
and clinked it against his.
Lin Feng downed the shot.
An icy sensation streamed down his throat,
which then turned into a fiery burn.
Lin Feng felt a warmth spread from his throat all the way to his stomach.
’So a drink really can warm you up.’
’But this taste... it’s so strange.’
Lin Feng couldn’t quite place the flavor.
The taste of lemon was mixed with strong liquor and a hint of bitterness.
’So this is a Bomber shot?’
’It certainly lives up to the name!’
Lü Na tried to hand him another,
but this time, Lin Feng refused no matter what she said.
He took a sip of his lemonade,
and the burning sensation finally subsided a little.
Seeing that Lin Feng was dead set against drinking more,
Lü Na picked up a glass and downed three shots in a row herself.
After three shots,
Lü Na’s face instantly flushed a deep crimson.
Even her eyes seemed to grow hazy.
’No way.’
’Even if the alcohol is strong,’
’it shouldn’t kick in this fast, should it?’
’Getting drunk instantly?’
"Mr. Lin, let me tell you about this last property."
If Lü Na had only been leaning against him lightly before,
now she was practically draped all over him.
Something was insistently rubbing against his arm.
’Is this the lethal allure of a mature woman?’
’I’m not sure how much more of this I can take.’
Even more terrifyingly, at some point Lü Na had slipped off her high heels, and her foot was now gently resting on his calf.
"The layout of this property is excellent."
"Even after taking out thirty square meters for the back kitchen,"
"you’d still have two hundred and fifty square meters left for a cashier counter and seating."
"I’ve already done the math. If you fill the space with tables, you can fit a total of fourteen."
Lü Na’s lips were practically at Lin Feng’s ear.
As she spoke, her warm breath tickled his ear.
She scrolled through the photos as she talked.
After a few more swipes, a photo suddenly appeared that made Lin Feng’s eyes go wide!
