Beneath the Red Dragon

The eyes of the adult White Dragon, Saclese, flashed with anger but he couldn’t unleash it. Not only because of the Empire’s shadow, but also because, in a certain sense, it’s like the sarcasm that slips out of a black person’s mouth when saying Brother Ni—both mocking and helpless.

Blue Dragon Akzhi suddenly stopped at this moment. His gaze swept over the sneaky Wild Dragons and the other nearby Blue Dragons, ignoring them, and instead, pretended to be surprised as he turned his head around, seemingly shocked.

"Oh, why are you still following us? Saclese, you’re free now."

"What do you mean?" White Dragon Saclese didn’t share Blue Dragon Akzhi’s pretentiousness because he was genuinely surprised, "We’re free now; does the Gogomola Dragon Group simply let us leave like that?"

"Of course," Blue Dragon Akzhi said with a meaningful glance at the White Dragon, his deep voice sounded both disdainful and subtly provocative, with a spiritual glow faintly blazing in his eyes.

"The Gogomola Dragon Group doesn’t accept just any Giant Dragon. While you enjoy the protection of the Dragon’s Code, it doesn’t mean the Gogomola Dragon Group must reign over you. Not every Giant Dragon is qualified to be a part of it either."

The Giant Dragons of the Golden Empire are becoming smarter, which also means that once the Empire’s Dragons become dark, they are much more vile than ordinary Dragons.

One wonders where these Dragons learned their push-pull and suppression tactics from; certainly not from the Ancestral Red Dragons.

Blue Dragon Akzhi’s naked disdain instead triggered the pride of this former Overlord of the Frost Plain, revealing his fierce fangs, and White Dragon Saclese coldly said, "You dare to look down on me? With your ridiculous abilities? You haven’t even witnessed my true power."

"You’re mistaken, and gravely so, Saclese," Blue Dragon Akzhi didn’t even consider the sudden Dragon Majesty of the White Dragon before him, as the Imperial Stronghold Domain hadn’t fully expanded within the Empire.

Yet, the Giant Dragon Lords with Spiritual Subordinate Authority could always connect with the power of the Empire’s Domain.

The Dragon Majesty of an adult White Dragon, however fierce, is insignificant under the Imperial Stronghold Domain.

Because the Imperial Stronghold Domain, in a sense, serves as a legion-level strategic weapon given by the Ancestral Red Dragon to the Golden Empire Legion to counter the consciousness covering and rewriting beyond legends.

With the support of the Imperial Stronghold Domain, future legion warriors of the Golden Empire may possess the ability to reverse and slaughter beings above legends.

Blue Dragon Akzhi said with an easy-going smile, "Ability does not simply mean brute strength, Saclese. I just think that, given your ability, maybe you can’t even pass the Empire’s test."

A flash of light crossed the eyes of White Dragon Saclese as he said in a deep voice, "Ability? What kind of ability did you display when you fought against me before?"

"You want to learn? The Gogomola Dragon Group can teach you, provided you pass the Empire’s test,"

Blue Dragon Akzhi’s gaze fleetingly passed over the Wild Dragons who discreetly raised their ears, and he laughed loudly: "As long as you pass the Empire’s test, as long as you are a Giant Dragon, the Gogomola Dragon Group will teach you this ability."

As Blue Dragon Akzhi’s words fell, before White Dragon Saclese could react, the other Giant Dragons couldn’t hold back any longer.

These Giant Dragons, drawn by the Dragon’s Code issued by the Golden Empire, shifted from an instinctive distrust of their kind to gradually gaining trust.

A Dragon’s lifespan is long enough to easily spend several years verifying the authenticity of certain matters.

However, despite enjoying the protection of the Golden Empire, they could not tolerate Karon Gogomola, the arrogant Red Dragon who claimed to be the Dragon Emperor.

No Dragon wishes to be governed by an Emperor.

This is why, even with the unique status bestowed upon Dragons by the Golden Empire, few roaming Wild Dragons willingly join it.

Nonetheless, the recent emergence of the Ancestral Red Dragon, displaying mighty power, has swayed many observing Wild Dragons.

The unique temperament and distinctive display of every Giant Dragon in the Gogomola Dragon Group also deeply enchanted these Dragons.

The might of the Golden Empire made these Dragons develop a real perception and a sense of identity with the civilization created by Dragons.

These reasons together are why Wild Dragons, roaming the wilderness, are beginning to want to actively approach the Empire to thoroughly understand it, while the words of Blue Dragon Akzhi stirred hope in their hearts.

"Can I also possess the abilities like those of the Giant Dragons in the Gogomola Dragon Group!"

Thus, these Wild Dragons suppressed their strong territorial consciousness, gathering around, yet unsure where to start, looking eagerly yet indifferently at a few of the Empire’s Dragons.

Only three Blue Dragons from the Blue Dragon Clan could immediately organize precise and rigorous language, excitedly asking, "Mighty and outstanding kindred lord, if we pass the Empire’s test, can we also acquire the knowledge and abilities taught to us?"

Blue Dragon Akzhi then slowly turned back, towering at nineteen meters tall, mighty even amongst his kin, his robust and polished scales appearing more splendid than those of the three clan-born Blue Dragons.

He chuckled softly, "Naturally, the Golden Empire is the Dragon Country; as long as you become a part of the Gogomola Dragon Group, you can naturally receive the teachings."
