Beneath the Red Dragon

Humans are born with a desire to migrate, and the longing for new continents is an inherent instinct.

Thus, a million Valerians migrated from the demon-infested and devastated Essos Continent to the Sosros Continent.

Under the leadership of the Legion Warriors of the Golden Empire and the Giant Dragon Lord, the remaining one million people of humanity in this world cut down timber, built fleets, and set sail from the ruins of Valeria towards a new future.

After more than a year, with the help of the Caster Corps, this mixed race of people, now collectively known as the Valerian survivors, built ocean-going ships capable of carrying thousands at the turning point between the apocalypse and the coming new future.

These enormous ocean-going ships covered the seas around the Valerian Peninsula, and the surviving massive demon dragons from the apocalypse led the fleet towards the new continent under the control of the Demon Dragon Knights.

The people of Valeria in this world, having witnessed the descent of the Dragon Group and the battle between King of the Dragon Clan, Karon Gogomola, and the Legendary Demon Saceres, no longer dared to call the demon dragons giant dragons.

Therefore, in this world, the giant dragons were renamed by the Valerians as Two-legged Demon Dragons, in reverence and admiration of the Dragon Group revered as the Dragon God.

The fleet marched forward in grandeur, flying the royal banner of the giant dragons, and no demon left scattered in the world dared to obstruct this force under the open path created by the Giant Dragon Lords and the Golden Empire’s legion.

The Valerian people followed the Sea of Summer, undergoing the baptisms of ocean currents and storms, and arrived on the Sosros Continent, a land occupied by plagues and beasts.

The Sosros Continent was vast, covered with tropical jungles, and most regions had not been explored by humans.

Once the Demon Dragon Knight Jeninara Beleris flew on her dragon Tyrrex over this continent for three years and still did not reach the end, illustrating the continent’s boundless vastness.

But the Ghis People, during their old empire era, had established outposts on the northern coast of this continent.

They established the Yimen Tower City at the river’s estuary, and the Exile Land of Goros at the Snake Lizard Islands in the southwest corner.

The immigrants from the old world landed on the Snake Lizard Islands in the southwest part of the Sosros Continent, and when they arrived at Yimen Tower City, it had been abandoned for more than two thousand years.

Therefore, these immigrants followed the river upstream, passing through the Yiling Ruins, clearing away the spotted ghouls and spider monsters, and sweeping out demons that unexpectedly crossed the ocean to this continent.

Then they stopped on the vast rainforest plains at the river’s end and origin.

The old civilization passed away, and a new civilization began to rise on this continent.

The Valerian people took the giant dragon as their totem and revered god, also the highest ruler of civilization.

On the new continent being developed, a new civilization began to be established—the Land of Golden, a civilization unique to this world, also a part of the Golden Empire.

Cities arose here as the stronghold of civilization, but another land, unreachable by mortals—the Ulters Continent, was a jungle accessible only to giant dragons and demon dragons.

Cities represented the twilight of civilization, while the jungle represented the dawn, with the sky like a dome, covering all four directions.

The House Targaryen, Orion Clan, and Belerys Clan’s Demon Dragon Knights rode gigantic demon dragons, crossing the strait to the Ulters Continent.

Some Demon Dragon Knights wore armor adorned with a black-bottom, red flame-spitting dragon insignia, guarding the central eye of the dragon insignia, symbolizing their belonging to the House Targaryen of the Golden Civilization.

This armor was crafted of black steel, with helmets decorated with dragon scales, showcasing features of the Dragon Civilization everywhere.

Apart from these adult knights, numerous young children and resolute teenagers sat atop the massive demon dragons.

These children and teenagers held or had in front of them a multitude of dragon eggs, resembling different colored rock formations, with the vibrant pulse inside the eggs resounding like a heartbeat, resonating with these young ones.

The pulsing of the dragon eggs imparted immense courage to these young ones, gradually transforming the traces of tension on their faces into excitement and anticipation.

They could not help but be expectant and excited.

As the most gifted youth of the next generation, they were chosen to become those immensely powerful divine-like dragon imperial guards, with the chance of stepping into the Dragon Realm alongside the Golden Empire’s legion, a dream coveted by countless people.

Born to own their demon dragon, they would accompany these enormous dragons in the future, becoming the most loyal and powerful Royal Forest Knights, witnessing broader heavens and more vast landscapes.

Even the demon dragon knights beside them envied these youths’ opportunities.

But these already adult demon dragon knights, though perhaps one day they might step through that gateway in the sky, currently had even more important duties.

Led by the two most powerful demon dragons, Bellerion and Rahix, nearly two hundred Demon Dragon Knights finally traversed the strait, arriving at the vast mountains of the Ulters Continent.

A massive tree thousands of meters tall rooted into the earth, its top disappeared into the cloud sea, and even these demon dragon knights could not see the crown of this tree clearly.

Countless huge, gnarled roots coiled around the hundreds-of-meters-wide tree trunk, spiraling and growing upwards like a layered ladder to ascend the sky.
