33 - Reconstruction is no big deal (3)

Tada, tada, tada! Tadahak!

The ten fingers tapping the keyboard were as light as a feather.

Reconstruction remained smiling in his mouth the entire time he wrote an email to Aiden, the editor of the Open House.

The writing of 'Man's Evil’ was completely finished, so it was no different.

“It's over. ”

Lika, sitting in a window frame, reacts to the words of reconstruction.

It's been five days since I've stayed here in Su Hee's apartment, avoiding readers. The finishing touches were perfect. Su Hee's sense of smell from all over the house greatly improved her concentration.

“Maybe I'll talk to Su-hee and stay here for a while. ”

After finishing composing the mail, the rebuild looked at the watch. It was time for Su-hee to come back soon. Looking at the book, he thought about waiting, and he opened a visit that was used as a library.

“My sweet boss. ”

Reconstruction smiles while looking at the back of the bookshelf.

I now know why Su-hee desperately stopped standing in the library.

Beep, beep, beep.

You heard a voice typing the password and the door opened.

Reconstruction takes the book out of the living room with its hand. Su-hee with the basket was taking off her shoes.

“I'll call you down. ”

“It's not that heavy. ”

“What have you bought so much of? ”

“You said you wanted shabu-shabu. I ate too well because my sister used to do it. I can't make soup as good as you, but I'll try. ”

Su-hee opened the basket without changing her clothes.

“Get changed and come out. I'll clean up the mess. ”

“Soup first. I don't need your help. The writer is resting because he's a distraction. ”

Su Hee went out and started washing the vegetables.

Reconstruction stands tall and stares at her back.

Today it was a pair of jeans strapped to a fluffy green shirt with an accent of angled edges.

“Did the evil talk end well? ”

“Well, you said you liked the revised manuscript. I emailed Aiden at the Open House. ”

“Well done, Writer Ha. I'll make Shabu-Shabu delicious, so let's eat a lot and get some rest today. ”

Su-hee glances at the smiling face and winces at one eye.

Reconstruction came closer, unable to bear that beautiful smile any longer.

“You look beautiful today. Did you buy new jeans? ”

“You've worn it before. And you should say that in the morning. No matter how hard I slept, I never turned around. ”

I stood behind Suhee's back and looked down, and I was washing my lettuce. The reconstruction tightened her body, hugging her crooked waist with both arms.

“What's wrong with cooking? ”

“Let me help you. ”

“I don't need your help. ”

“Smells good. Did you put perfume on it?”

“Don't you know I don't spray perfume? ”

Of course, there is no reason not to know.

It was because Su Hee's body smelled good and never got tired.

The reconstructive lips slowly went down to Su Hee's white neck.

Page.

Su-hee trembles as she kisses to make a sound.

“Tickle. Don't. ”

Reconstruction continued to pretend not to hear. Soon after, Su-hee lowered her shirt slightly to reveal her shoulders and kissed her in alternation to her collarbone.

Soo-hee's cheeks gradually flushed.

“Don't do this. Strange diagnosis.”

Su-hee's words have not been eaten by the reconstruction that had already been activated.

From the top, the shirt button was unbuttoned in turn. The tongue tangled between the two opposing lips. Su-hee let go of the lettuce and shook her whole body.

“Stop it now, okay? ”

Su-hee exclaimed as if her lips were falling out for a moment. My short breath was hot as fire and my heart was beating like a burst. With one hand, you stand on the moat with one hand, unable to move your legs.

“Huh? After you eat. Cooking · · · · · · · · Sucking. ”

The reconstruction stops the horse with its lips again. With both hands, Su Hee's jeans were turned off and subsequently zipped down. Su-hee is forced to give up her body after losing the strength to resist.

“Rebuild · · · · · · · · · ·. Then don't do this here. Go to your room. ”

“I don't have anyone. ”

The waist bending reconstruction pulls Su Hee's jeans straight down to her ankles. Beautiful and slender bare legs were revealed. Su-hee sets her shoulders on reconstruction and alternates her feet to make it easier for him to peel off.

“How can a person be so beautiful? ”

He turned Su-hee naked, leaving only his underwear, and the reconstruction was impressive.

Su-hee was so excited that she didn't even take it as a joke. Reconstruction grabs her by the neck and kisses her, and the reconstruction lifts her to the top of the basin.

Glug glug!

“Haha, I'm on the phone. ”

“I can't take it now. ”

The reconstruction buries her face in Su Hee's rich sternum. Su-hee, who still had little reason left, pushed him away just before the brassiere even peeled off.

“You said you mailed it to the open house. What if it's Aiden?”

“It must be the dawn of America. It can't be. ”

“It could be another urgent phone call. Just check it out. Come on. ”

Reconstruction turns to a damp look on his face.

Going to the table and checking her phone, Su-hee guessed correctly. It was a call from Aiden.

“Hello, editor Aiden? ”

- Good morning, sir. I called as soon as I read the mail. No, I'm sorry. I called you.

“You don't have to worry about Korean language expression. But you're up early. It's probably dawn. ”

I didn't get up early. I stayed up all night. I've read people's evil. It was so good. You're amazing. You're wonderful. You're wonderful. You're a great writer, sir.

Reconstruction looked back at Suhee in the kitchen with a smile. She nods her head and disappears to change her clothes.

- Thank you so much, sir. You want us to take on the Dragon Rider and then the bad guys? No, you let me. The open house will sell well. And they're going to make a lot of money in the open house.

“Thank you very much. But I don't know if it's going to sell very well. There are dark, heavy corners. ”

- It'll suit your American sensibilities. Especially when it comes to the character's background. because this is my story.

“Yes · · · · · · · · ·. ”

Reconstruction grew old and smiled bitterly.

The protagonist of 'human evil’ is a Korean, but was adopted as a white family in L.A., USA, as a child. And, in fact, Aiden is an American at a young age with similar experiences as the main character in the novel.

- struggling with abandoned loneliness, wanting success, confusing lack of identity, struggling with racism. I didn't open my eyes to the last chapter of the novel. I couldn't even go to the bathroom. I read the whole book in one place. Thank you for writing. Thank you, sir.

“With Aiden's eulogy, I'm doomed. ”

- I'm not screwed. I'm going to start marketing from L.A.

“L.A.?”

- Dragon riders have become famous there, but there are many Koreans there. We'll do the promotions right through newspapers, magazines, and the Amazon. It's great to hear so much about novels in L.A. Very good.

“Thank you."

- I appreciate it, and Ben, my boss, loves it. Your American nickname.

“Ahaha · · · · · · · · I had a hard time naming, so I made some excuses. Did you recognize it right away?”

- Why are you so familiar with your nickname? And I was surprised later. It's an honor for the boss and me. No offense, but fine.

After talking about 'human evil,' the conversation continued about ‘The Bress.’

After a long time talking about sales volumes, filmmaking work, and Director Chris Nolan, reconstruction hung up the phone.

“Are we done here? ”

“Huh."

Reconstruction looked back at the answer at the same time.

Soo-hee, who was wearing a comfy t-shirt and shorts, was making soup. Reconstruction lets out a thin sigh to the unfortunate face.

“Did you just get dressed? ”

“Are you kidding? I just lost 20 minutes of phone calls. Come and sit down, we're almost there. ”

The reconstruction turned off the electric oven fire that had boiled the soup instead of sitting on the chair. Then I lifted Su-hee lightly and held her in my arms.

“Let's finish what we started. ”

“How hard can it be? A real beast.”

The bedroom fire that had swallowed the reconstruction and Su Hee was extinguished.

Between two people checking each other's affections.

In the United States, Aiden gave up sleeping and started working.

While the reconstruction and Su-hee were asleep watching the movie after dinner, editing began.

The next day at 7 pm Korean time.

Reconstruction was able to get cover covers from the open house side.

The American edition is called The Malice.

The author's name was Aiden Smith.

Needless to say, it was a simple nickname after Ben Smith, the head of the Open House, and Aiden Cooper, the editor.

* * *

“Michael, what are you reading so hard for? Evil?”

“This is the new one from last week. I got interested in being published at the Dragon Rider's Open House. ”

“What's it say? Fantasy?”

“It's not a fantasy. It's a story in which a very cold and sinister protagonist only wishes to succeed. It's dark and deep.”

“Ugh, I hate books like that. ”

“But the attraction is amazing. Heavy, but not boring. You should read it, too. You're Korean.”

“What does this book have to do with me being Korean? ”

“The protagonist of this book is also Korean. He was adopted to our country as a child. I'll lend it to you today as I'm finished reading it. ”

“Really? Thank you. I should read it, too. ”

The beginning of ‘evil’ was trivial.

Since its publication, about three or four days have not been mentioned on the Internet at all.

Few readers were interested in the work produced by a strange author named Aiden Smith.

In the beginning, the Open House did not expect to see any results within a single moment. Just as I promised to rebuild, I continued to market through various media.

Maybe it's the Bress that's making L.A. so much more recognizable. Or is it because the protagonist of 'Evil’ is a Korean adopted into the United States?

Over time, rumors began to spread gradually around the Korean village. After reading 'Malicious’, American readers posted their opinions via SNS or blogs.

- A human scumbag like this, wow! I hope he drowns last.

- Who's Aiden Smith? I assure you, this man is not a god. A famous existing writer will test my skills with a pseudonym.

- This novel ripped my lungs out and tore my heart out! It's our lives that are profound and light and fun and scary!

- Why isn't this great novel on the hard cover yet? Are all the Open House representatives and editor-in-chief staff idiots?

- I'm a 39-year-old housewife living in California. This piece by Aiden Smith became the best novel of my life. Are you really new? If not, please identify yourself. I want to read the whole masterpiece.

As readers' audiences spread through the Internet, more people knew the existence of "evil" all day long. Through a large bookstore, ‘evil’ was sold regularly every day through internet shopping malls.

He had already reconstructed the reactions of American readers. Su-hee searches for reactions every day, so I couldn't tell if I didn't want to know.

“It's the same compliment on Facebook. ”

Su-hee smiles brightly as she looks at the monitor.

As soon as I got home from work today, I was sitting on the knees of the reconstruction and looking at the readers' reactions first.

“Definitely not a professional translator. You brought back the taste of the original. Dr. Haejgan, that would be great. ”

“Fine, then. I should at least call to say thank you. ”

Glug glug!

“This is Professor Han Hye-sun. ”

“Oh, Professor? ”

Su-hee raises her body, which was furious.

Reconstruction reached out and picked up the phone.

“Yes, Professor. It's a rebuilding.”

- Did you have dinner?

“It's still before dinner. Did you eat?”

- I ate early. How's your honeymoon going?

“I love it so much. ”

- I can hear you, kid. You're awake.

Reconstruction and Hyejeon smiled at the same time.

Su-hee was also paying close attention at the side with curious eyes.

- Evil American response was pretty good.

“Oh, have you seen the professor? ”

Reconstruction pleased me. Comet is one of the few people who know that reconstruction is the author of "evil."

- My leading pupil. Of course I looked. And this novel is the best of all your works, the best. I have nothing more to teach you. Now I have to learn from you.

“Please don't say such nonsense. You must guide me for the rest of my life. ”

- I'm glad you said that. Ah, the reason I called is because I'm curious about the publication schedule in Korea.

“Yes, it will be published sometime next week. I'm not selling the pre-order. ”

- Yeah, well, it's only a matter of time before it's published.

Reconstruction opened my eyes wide.

“Did you write me a review? ”

- What are you so surprised about? I'll send them out through the breach or something. I know that. Oh, don't you think you care about my apprentice? Don't be burdened or mistaken or so. I wrote down the flu because it was purely malicious. Hohoho.

“Ah, thank you for always taking care of me like this. ”

- Buy me something delicious tomorrow if you're thankful.

“Of course, Professor. Just say whatever you want. ”

- Okay, I'll see you tomorrow. How's Su-hee?

Su-hee stepped in next to me, scared to ask how Hyerin was doing.

“Professor! I was worried that you wouldn't find me and hang up. ”

- Oh, is Su-hee with you?

“Haha, Professor. I'll give Su-hee the phone for a moment. ”

That night.

In the U.S. L.A. Times, "malicious" was mentioned.

It was not advertised by the Open House, it was listed as a full article.

It was an article featuring the readers' unusual reactions with a brief novel plot.

The person who was most happy about this was Myeong Myung, the editor-in-chief of the publishing group. I was trying to figure out how to promote the new author, Aiden Smith, who has no recognition whatsoever. Thanks to the L.A. Times article, we have a promotional message to engrave on the band.
